I had to experience this today itself (11/08/2023) because these people are so corrupt.
In the afternoon by 1 pm I visited the royal Enfield showroom-jai guru motors pvt ltd katihar I selected the model of the royal enfield classic 350 stealth black colour they asked us to come after an hour and asked my contact number then called me to come by 5:40pm by calling me by this number [protected], when I asked him whether I will receive bike today or not on this he said he will provide the bike today itself. in the evening when we reached there they said they can provide us with the model today itself if we pay them 10000/- extra and the amount 10000 wont be added anywhere in the bill when we told them that we have no extra money they said than wait for 4 or 5 days . I went there with the amount that was sufficient to make the purchase but because of the lack of 10000 I couldnt make the purchase today.

    Dear team,

    From the beginning itself I have been faced with so many issues with my recently purchased RE Hunter350. Like milage drop and heating issues. As advised, address the same on the third service.

    After 3rd service within a few months I got a failure in the chain and it's getting worse and makes lots of noise. I consulted with my mechanic and he advised me that the chain has to be replaced.

    I was wondering if RE quality is too wost. Since its a newly bought motorcycle getting this kind of complaint. It's a serious issue to think about its life and quality assurance. So I need a proper justification, otherwise I will expose to others about this kind of issue not to be faced by other users.

    I attached the last service bills which were done by your authority. Need a justification of my case about my issue. I'm definitely not going to spend money to change these parts with this kind of disability nor fail to perform within a short time as bad quality assurance.

      I bought classic 350 chrome red (WB94N7260) on 1st Sep 2022. I have driven it for 4600 kms so far. Regular service is being done as per the service manual. Currently my issue is slippery of chain while riding. It creates noise as well and bike vibration. I took it to the same re service Centre (No 1220, GT Road, Panjabi More, Raniganj - 713347) where i have been giving my bike for service all the times. I spoke to service Engineer, he said the entire chain sprocket set has to be replaced since it cannot be serviced. I am really shocked to hear this because of below reasons

      A) Vehicle ran for just 4.5k kms. And proper maintenace

      B) Regular servicing is being done and none of the times i was given a heads up on this. Within two service prioud, but I have done 4 services. Two extra paid service.

      C) Never done off-roading with this bike. (Only city rides & NH rides)

      D) Service Centre suggests and provide me Royal Enfield Essentials Chain Maintenance KIT 2 month ago. Every 500 kms i clean and lube the chain with this Royal Enfield kit.

      E) Meny times I visited Royal Enfield Showroom and service

      When i said all these to the service Engineer. Even more shocked to hear his response saying “quality of the chain sprocket is very low category and damage too even @ 4000 kms run”. I am so disappointed to hear this from an authorized service advisor because everybody including me bought ROYAL ENFIELD after knowing its reputation for quality & stability.

      After this, i spoke to the service manager mr. Arijit. Unfortunately i got the same response from the manager as well. I am really disappointed because

      1. Is the quality of ROYAL ENFIELD accessories has come down as low as this?

      2. I was advised to cut the gear while riding which everyone knew that it would create further damage chain sprocket.

      3. I was also advised to pay for this and told that it would not cover under warranty.

      4. How can you have persons in your service team with lack of knowledge on riding/re product/accessories?

      5. There was a casual response from him that I need to write a mail to you..

      Finally, the fact is to pay for replace chain sprocket of my bullet that ran only 4600 kms after doing proper maintenance like giving service on time, lubricating, etc.,

      Please look into this and let me know how to proceed further on this. I don’t want to take a risk of riding long distance. I want this to be covered under warranty

      Ps: I am a part of Asansol royal rider’s motorcycle club which is a known group for re riders. We fortunately are doing extensive branding for re vehicle for our nears and dears. The core element of this group is to ensure all the riders who are participating in a ride are physically fit and ensure the bullet is in a good condition to go for a long drives. Giving priority to safety.

        I have bought a RE CLASSIC 350 SIGNALS edition in the month of january and the showroom said that they will give owner book(RC) in 45 days, but now it hass been 7 months till now they had not given the RC, they are saying just give 5 day or 10days or 2 days whenever I call them.

            My last service was done for battery issue in Apr 23 ODO meter -1050 approx. was asked to drive bike regularly in order to avoid battery problem. In a month I drove 900km and still faced same issue time and again.
            I finally decided to get my battery checked locally and it was told to me the battery is weak, he insisted pls get it replaced.

            I ended up in service Center to get my battery replaced.. as the issue is since the time I bought the bike.
            Note this is 7th time I am coming to service Center for same problem, while the bike was in on condition in front of advisor and when he killed the switch and start back the bike didn’t start.

            This time the service center kept my bike for more than 40 days and finally called me up saying the battery is okay in our observation despite no one drove the bike for 10 days straight and it still starts.

            Could you please help me understand now- initially was told if you don’t drive 4days your bike will drain the battery but same doesn’t apply when it is standing in service centre?

            I have been always ask that your km is way to less, my question is how should I drive if the bike keeps shutting off every now and then?
            The battery is already concluded faulty by local mechanic.

            Also, would like to bring attention that I was called twice to take my bike from service center but when asked is the battery changed no one called me back till date.

            The bike is still in service center, I don’t have any problem with the service advisor but with RE as why this issue has been not resolved in the first place.

            I am not sure who is responsible for my problem but definitely someone needs to compensate me for paying 3.7 lakhs and couldn’t even drive 2k km with peace of mind.

            This wasn’t expected from brand like Royal Enfield!!

            I can see it’s been 1year and 7 times with no help and I have been waiting and doing everything that’s is being asked from me.

            My time and energy is being wasted on this issue for a year now.

              Hi,

              I have taken Royal Enfield interceptor 650cc in the month of Feb 22 from Palladium and since then I have been facing battery issue where my bike automatically gets discharged midway and I have been struggling a lot to get it started.

              First time I logged a complaint in the month of Aug22, later November 22 and then again in feb 23 at voyage kandivali west service center.

              During this whole tenure the bike must have stopped starting many a times but some o the other way o have got it started by jump start as I have faced this issue multiple time riding.. also my bike has stopped starting more than 25-30 times throughout this tenure.

              I have been insisting the authorised service center to replace the battery for almost a year now but they have also said no issues with battery and they charged it gave back to me.

              The bike is interceptor premium segment I didn’t wish to buy a heavy CC to get my bike jump starry every time. How do you guys expect me to ride while my bike keeps on shutting or discharging battery every now and then.

              After several complaints and trauma of handling this bike I am writing for your involvement to get me the battery replaced and help me ride and experience my bike for which I paid 3.7lakhs.

              I am really frustrated now and want a final resolution to get my battery replaced as I received a faulty one from the beginning.

                Hello kindly inform you to 1 month ago I raise a complaint my bike was not started mechanic came fix the problem but after they gone bike was not started through self button also abs not worked. Your authorised R K Motar’s Mahrajganj Up after 1 month can’t fix this problem during this period my accident was happen when I ride my bullet they slipped and I severely injured.. who’s responsible for this incident

                  On 02/07/2023, I attempted to order some gear from the Royal Enfield store (https://store.royalenfield.com). I was supposed to receive a 10% discount, but due to a payment failure, I couldn't avail of it.

                  I reached out to customer support, and they resolved the issue by providing me with a payment link for the adjusted amount of ₹12, 845. On 3/07/2023, I placed the order again and successfully completed the checkout process.

                  During the checkout, I noticed that the estimated delivery time for my products was 1-3 working days. Regrettably, I made a significant mistake by believing this information. Today, it's July 10, 2023, and I haven't received my products yet. I want to emphasize that I didn't order bike parts or accessories but rather gear such as a helmet, jacket, gloves, and keychain.

                  What confuses me is why a reputable company like Royal Enfield would choose to work with a subpar delivery service like Delhivery (https://www.delhivery.com). It's widely known how poor their services are.

                  For the past five days, I have been trying to follow up with them. However, every person I communicate with via email keeps repeating the same response, claiming they are working on my case, and so on. I maintained my composure and remained polite throughout, but my frustration grew when Delhivery started refusing the delivery without any calls, messages, or emails. They simply updated the status as "Receiver refused the delivery" on two occasions, even though I never received a request for delivery or any prior notification. Moreover, they have previously provided incorrect status updates.

                  Let's face the reality here. As a customer, I shouldn't have to deal with the delivery team or customer care. I am forced to engage with them because something suspicious is happening within Royal Enfield. They are mistreating their customers and failing to address their concerns promptly.

                  I even spoke with them over the phone, but they continue to repeat the same responses, despite my clear request for a refund.

                  Their behavior clearly demonstrates unprofessionalism, lack of training, and a complete lack of empathy toward customers and their time.

                  As a result of this experience, I have changed my mind about purchasing the Classic 350. If they can't handle their gear delivery service properly, I can't imagine how they would treat me as a customer when I buy the bike. It would be a nightmare.

                  Friends, I strongly advise you not to make any purchases from the Royal Enfield Store. If this happened to me, it could happen to someone else as well.

                  Note: As I write this, I have still not received my refund. Royal Enfield is making me wait unnecessarily.

                    I have visited the Basant Motors Royal Enfield showroom in Raipur.
                    That was the worst experience I have ever seen.
                    Till the time of payment they behave very well but after payment suddenly behavior has changed.
                    and the sales manager & Team did not have any proper communication. They were arguing with all customers.
                    They were not owning their words. I waited 3hrs for delivery after all the formalities were completed.
                    Royal Enfield is just not a bike, it's emotion and these people did not think about that.
                    I was very upset after purchasing a bike from Basant Motors. I will not suggest anyone buy a bike from that showroom.
                    Staff behavior was the worst. I hope Royal Enfield will be looking for that concern. Because it matters about customer feelings.

                            Actually i given my vehicle at 10.30 am and the message came by 11.13 am … customers all are fools need to know what they are cheating the customer… then why the royal enfield giving free service to customers… very worst ever service centre i have seen …

                              I have a Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350x 2019 bs4 model. Last year in the month of Oct 2022, my bike's petrol tank suddenly started leaking while on a trip. The petrol started leaking from the air hose pipe. I was 300 km away from my home some how managed to bring my bike to delhi and showed it to the service centre.                                 Bought Himalayan Granite Black model from BTM Layout store, Bangalore .Within a span of 6 months from the purchased date post second service facing issues like bike gets switched off while driving once shifting down gears and problem was so severe that in the middle of dense Bangalore Traffic bike gets off completely. While raising the complaint to Company showroom one of the Royal Enfield Service man Mr.Velu told me that some of the part of the bike got failed and to get the same part "we required 8 days to get your bike repaired but it is under warranty.

                                What's the point of purchasing a new bike and within a lesser period parts got failed. This is purely a Sin,
                                1)Why should i bare the new bike who's parts got failed and delivered to me
                                2) Why the company is taking 8 days to repair the spare parts
                                3) Money is going on vain, when it comes to a new bike has this kind of problem from starting itself
                                4) Bought this bike for the purpose of long drive like Leh..Laddakh, what do i do now considering current scenario is too difficult for me plan any long drive

                                I want this complaint to take very action against whosoever involved

                                    We had given our RE classic ३५० - MH46BC 1218 vehicle for regular service on 2nd may 2023 and recieved delivery same day but vehicle working condition post delivery was found to be abnoxious.

                                    Self Start was not working very second day and vehicle was not taking required pickup.

                                    We arrived at your Nerul service centre today I.e on 14th may 2023 for addressing this concern but your staff clearly denied to register out complain and behaved arrogantly.

                                    Request to resolve the issue as soon as possible as we have spend Rs 4200/- against which we have not received satisfactory service. Their may be some malpractices and replacement of working spares.

                                    All these things are letting me file a case against you in the consumer forum.

                                    I have emailed the above complaint in detailed to [protected]@royalenfield.com but they have closed the complaint stating that the issue has been addressed to the customer.
                                    Royal Enfield customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
