Within a period of 30 months there is a crack on the back side, hardly used 20 times mostly for air travels as hand baggage. I was advised that it's unbreakable, I had purchased it.
Since its manufacturing defect, I request for replacement urgently.

    Sir,

    I have given one samsonite bag for repair at bagzone shop at Lulu Mall, Edappally, Kochi, Kerala on[protected] as per the memo No.09064. Mr. Nidhin who was in the shop told me that the bag will be ready in 10 days and when it is ready he will call me. I waited for 10 days and after I have contacted the shop he was telling me next day, next day next day... Then he gave me the number of Mr.Ajith cell : [protected] the bag mechanic. I have started contacting him the answer was same as from the shop. I was to go for a tour on 4th February, 2016 and informed Mr. Ajith. He promised the bag will be delivered in my door on[protected] and it was not happen. When I contacted him on 2nd he told me he will definitely deliver it on[protected]. I have contacted him on the 3rd evening and he told me that he belongs to Kottayam district, there is harthal and he could not travel and will deliver on 4th morning. Nothing happened, I brought another bag and went for the tour and back home on 22nd February. After 3rd nothing has been heard from the shop or from mechanic. It is 46 days since I have given the bag for repair and I request you to kindly arrange to deliver my bag after repair immediately.

      I brought this product on 02nd Jan 2016. Identification No. 5B3001001 AT MAGNET 53710279 BLUE. Rs 3350.

      I have been a avid customer of AT and have been using it since my school days. But first time I have faced this worst experience in terms of quality, even the word poor would would be a least to describe it.

      The stitches of the shoulder strap started to came out within 10 days of the purchase. And yet the worst part I did not expect was still on the cards. The stitches of the inner layer of the outermost pocket came out. Alas !!

      Now, tell me what about your all Quality Testing icons which are being displayed on the warranty card. All mean crap huh ??
      I just want to ask you, if this being instead were to be used by a school kid rather than a corporate usage like me; the bag would not have survived a day I guess.

      I'm writing and shall mark this email to the AT South Asia Pvt Ltd seeking clarity on the Quality Check before being imported to India.
      Is our currency Rs not worthy enough in comparison to $? Is that what the worst quality of AT signifies.

      I simply seek a satisfactory reply stating on all the points which I mentioned and the same product replacement.

      I shall await for a response till 5th Feb 2016 and then take the matter further.

      Hope at least customer service and grievances would be handled by AT better in comparison to the products that you market & sell in India.

        Dear sir
        My name is b.Sivaram, i bought a bag from your dbl store, nungambakkam, chennai-600034, on 21-09-15. With in 2 month bag was damaged (Stiching removed ) actually the area covered for stiching is 2 mm, other area one cm . So iam confirmed manufacturing defect . Iam asking replace ment they told we will only repare this time, incase next same problem incase repeated we will replace the bag.
        Then iam agreed, then iam waiting for 20 days then i got my bag.
        After 20 days same place same problem same stiching removed,
        Today aim went the same show room met one staff he simply told come some other day iam new, my manager not available.
        Iam insist to make the call to manager, he told through phone come tomorrow aim not available i want to evaluate the bag and send images to samsonite, then only able to give the solutions.

        Shoes of samsonite are very poor in quality

        I bought samsonite shoes worth 6500/- approximate from in orbit mall vashi, mumbai in December. Within use of 2 months its heel wore off and I can't use them now. Just waste of money.

          Hello. I had purchased a high Sierra bag . It had a manufacturing defect .I had not seen this during the purchase. Now when I gave for service Samsonite is defending telling its my fault. They are ignorant and not taking the matter at all. Kindly help me. The bag is unused and has 6 years international warranty. Please help and look into this matter.

            I bought Samsonite bag worth Rs 10, 000 plus from Shopper Stop. The bag tore in one use. Company says Samsonite gives warranty only against the manufacturing defects, this is tear in Fabric and we can't replace the bag in this case. You can refer the warranty policy on our website.There is tear only at one place where bag bends . If there had been a sharp contact there should have been a damage at other places as well. What kind of quality of Fabric is being by Samsonite. Its purely due to use of sub-standard quality and design defect. Please take the feedback back to your manufacturing team as well. There executives and service center are refusing to listen and change the bag. My recommendation its marketing gimmick on selling more products and decreasing the quality

              I purchased mentioned Carry on Stroller for my trip to San Francisco. Number lock of Stroller was initially set by me as per instructions. It worked fine during my outward journey. On day of return journey to India, I had packed my travel documents and personal items in the Stroller and number locked same. But when I tried to open same, it would not open, causing me unnecessary and avoidable distress, as I had to catch flight to India within two hours time. Under this circumstances, I had no other option but to cut stitch around number lock to retrieve my travel documents, passport/visa etc. Today, when I could get time to visit your nearest dealer at CIT Road, Ultadanga, Kolkata; I deposited the Stroller for repair. However, a representative at the dealer told me that I have mishandled the Stroller and I will be required to pay for repair; which I was shocked to hear; since I understood it was under warranty cover. Incidentally, I would like to mention that all my travel baggage are Samsonite products and this is the first time I faced such a distress from a product and I expect free of charge repairs at least from a company of your reputation; leaving the distress caused to me due to malfunctioning of your product.                 I have purchased Samsonite Pro DLx 04 Laptop Bag from your outlet at Level 4 Terminal 2 at Shivaji International Airport Mumbai. I am completed dis-satisfied with the treatment meted out
                1. The seller has confirmed 15% discount whereas while in a hurry he billed only a 10% discount
                2. The seller confirmed 5 years international warranty but inside it says only 3 years
                3. The price I have checked for the bag is officially 109 USD but was sold to me at a list price of 159 USD.

                The reason I command fairness at your end is I have personally used about 8 or 9 samsonite bags of different kinds over the last 7 years and including my family of 4, amongst us the total might be around 30. Even at present, we are using 6 different kinds of samsonite bags and i have never faced any problem during my purchase Hence I request immediate action otherwise I am sure as a family this will be our last samsonite purchase. Though that would hardly make any difference to your organization but could not expect such un professionalism from your distributors/ sellers.

                I have attached a copy of bill and warrantee certificate for reference.

                  Samsonite products are of substandard and cheap quality, just marketing gimmick. I bought their travel bag worth Rs 12000 and the Cloth is torn in one use, company marketing person acknowledged cloth is torn, agreed to replace on phone and then turned around on their words ‪#‎samosinte‬. Representative don't answer calls or mail responses even after so many request from Shopperstop . Please spread the message across and any suggestions.
                  i will spread the message. Contact the floor manager of Shoppers stop and be firm with him. Tell him you will report to the Government. They dont want shoppers to come they want them to stop and that is why they are named as such.

                    I would like to take your few moments to represent my case please go through with the same and expect prompt and clear reply from you. Case History 1. I have purchased a Quadair Pro (Laptop Bag Pack) from your authorised factory show room at Lower Parel vide invoice no. 12376 Dt. 04th Feb, 2014, 2. I have been given a warantee card for the span of three year from the date of purchase, 3. During last year also there was a Zip problem in middle compartment, which got ractified by without any cost, 4. Now I had a same problems some threads are coming out close to middle compartment zip and due to which zip get open anytime without my knowledge, 5. I sent my bag to nearest Factory Outlet at Chakala namely GIFTORS, 6. I have been given a Service After Sales Report bearing Service Invoice no. 12137 dt 19/09/2015 7. I have been told that zip is damaged and you have to pay Rs. 800/= as a repairing cost. 8. I replied your service representative to get the same done i am ready to pay the amount but i will escalate this to your senior members. My Representation: 1. I have purchased a Samsonite one of the reputed brand across the world Laptop bag from its authorized Factory Outlet with a warranty of 3 years, just because of trust that the product i am buying is of best quality, best material and best after sales service, 2. but unfortunately due to any reason within approximately two year the same has been sent for the repair twice, (would like to share here my experience with Sky Bag which i remember a soft luggage bag i brought aprox. in the year 1988 and i used till almost 2009 but i never find any problem till the last moment since pattern outdated i replace it with another bag.) so may i get an answer that the material used in this bag is of inferior quality of what as it has given same problem twice with in 24 moths, Else it was oversight of your service representative who repaired last time, he has not noticed the same and get corrected the problem, 3. When i can spent 5 k to buy a bag, Rs. 800/= is not a big sum to pay for repair but my question is why i should pay the amount when it is having defective material, 4. this is gives me bad impression of your brand name Samsonite incase if someone ask about durability of Samsonite product you only tell what reply i should give honestly, at the same time would like to request if possible charge amount but use good durable material which last long,

                      Hello, I bought a Samsonite bag, details for which are as follows: ID Number: 40X011020 Item: travel bag 65cm t.blue Shop: all india leather company meston road kanpur Invoice Number: 450 dated 21/07/2015 Price: INR 2790 The bag broke down in the first usage itself, getting torn from several places causing immense trouble to me during my vacation. After coming back to Kanpur, I went back to the dealer to get replacement to which I was told that replacement is not possible and he cannot do anything about it. After buying a Samsonite bag, the two things I expect are quality and service both of which were not provided to me. As such then what difference now lies between a mediocre luggage bag available on streets and a Samsonite luggage bag?                           I bought a pair of Samsonite Shoes worth INR3000 (approx.) from centre one mall vashi navi mumbai. To my horror, a few days later I realised that there shoe was occurd a defect . I promptly contacted their office in Mumbai and was offered to take my shoes to the Samsonite Store in centre one, vashi and take a replacement. i was told it can not be replaced because of two reasons 1) it was billed in discount 2) this model has been stopped. 3) does it mean you offer discount to promote defective shoe It is very evident that the company is not following any quality control and has been defective and poor quality shoes in the market and very high prices.                             A four wheeler carry on size bag was purchased for over Rs 8000. Within a few months the collapsible handle was jammed in the extended position rendering it useless as a carry on bag. The bag was taken to samsonite in bandra linking road mumbai. After two trips considerable inconvenience and two weeks time I was able to go and collect my bag. The HANDLE HAD NOT BEEN REPLACED. Instead it had been oiled and greased and was somehow closing/collapsing with considerable difficulty. Upon pouting out this obvious oversight to the nonchalant and disinterested staff at the store, I was frustrated to find that they refused to accept that it had not been fixed properly. I had no choice but to accept and leave with my bag as I needed it urgently. Upon asking for the contact of the store manager I was repeatedly given the name of a Mr. Sadiq and a wrong number or one that was never available. I am now stuck with what is essentially an overpriced carry on bag that I am forced to check in. After having paid a considerable amount for a product from a prestigious brand one expects decent service or at least the repair under warranty. Frustrated with and disappointed by Samsonite service and demand immediate replacement as repair has been unsuccessful.

                              I bought a suitcase from Samsonite at Sahara center in sharjah, took it home finding out that the locking mechanism was defected, mean it will open at any combination, took it back to the shop to replace the case or replacing the locking mechanism but was told that I have to leave it for repair, The product was manufacturer defect and should be replaced. The suitcase was inspected by 5165 as per the sticker inside. Samsonite quality is no longer good, this is the last samsonite suitcase I buy, It's not worth paying high price for a name only not the product.

                                I purchased an office bag on 26.07.2013 from BIG SPLASH, VASHI, NEW MUMBAI costing around Rs. 7, 000/-. It is only three months and its main zip has ceased to function, i wonder if this thing happens to such costly items what will be the fate of low cost items.                                   I had bought a premium Samsonite bag which i thought would last me at least till the warranty period ended. But in two years the zipper went bad and i sent it for repairing. After few weeks I got a call saying that the zipper is not repairable and that they will replace the bag. When i went to the store, they said they will only replace the amount of the MRP of the bag that i had purchased 2 yrs ago. Obviously in 2 yrs the price on the bag had gone higher. How can they expect me to pay the difference in the amount(which is a huge amount) since this is a premium bag. What is the point of the warranty then? I paid a premium price for the bag because it had a warranty. If i knew the bag would only last me 2 yrs I would have rather purchased a cheap unbranded bag which, used it for 2 yrs and threw it on breaking down. What was the point of getting an expensive bag? If they cant repair it, they should replace it free of cost.

                                    I am a customer who purchased a Laptop Bag worth Rs.3590 in your outlet at M/s. SRI PRAKASH ENTERPRISE’s Visakhapatnam.
                                    I had given my bag for service as it is damaged on the back portion your representative says it cannot be repaired. What is the point of giving 3 years warranty?
                                    While I appreciate the fact that there was a problem in ZIP and the same was rectified but it was embarrassing as the major concern was not addressed which I mentioned above.
                                    It is just not acceptable “customers get respect, commitments at the time of sale but not at the time of service”.
                                    This is the second time I am facing a problem due to your company’s product. Please do the needful…

                                      I wish to inform you, that I am a very dissatisfied customer of your highly esteemed brand Samsonite. I had bought a Samsonite laptop Backpack -08X(0)09005 Xenon Spl Laptop Backpack on 28th Sept 2012 from your Samsonite Parel Showroom (Next to Reebok showroom, Dr Ambedkar Road Parel, Mumbai-12, Ph:[protected]. It was worth Rs 3,594 . Barely after 1.5 months of puchase, on 17th November, I noticed that the bag had torn off from the handle junction. I was shocked that despite my best handling of the bag and travel always in AC car, such a glaring manufacturing defect had occurred. I immediately rushed to the showroom and placed a request for replacement. However, after 12 days, on 30th November, the shop owner informed me to collect the “repaired” bag (not a replacement as requested). To my horror, the repairing job was found to be third rate and very shabbily done, with threads sticking out of the place of repair. When I contested this with the shop owner, I was faced with an arrogant and insensitive reply- “WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE”. The argument went on for about 10-15 mins, but I had no choice, but to carry home the third rate Samsonite bag, with such glaring defects so difficult to ignore . I am highly displeased and disappointed at your approach. I request the higher customer care authority to get in touch with me on phone or email, failing which i have no choice but to lodge an official consumer complaint
