I have purchased a service from shine i.e Job and Interview Assistance Service as per the recommendation of your relationship manager and Order Id is CP395312.

I have tried to use the service but the Aspiration company which provides the service sends only emails once a month and in emails, they sent randomly job links from LinkedIn. Also, no job link didn't match my profile.

Also, I have filed a complaint against the company which provides the service so their reception called me which doesn't know anything about my profile and their seniors told me that the market didn't have Jobs according to my profile. On the other hand, I am able to find job opportunities according to my profile on my own.

I think Shine didn't know anything about any service provided by companies.

I have wasted enough time with the same and I request for a refund because they didn't care about the customer and don't know how much job is important to others.

Also, every time shine employee displays that we are affiliated with HT Media Limited to hide that we are not a fraud.

My issue is not resolved. You are forcing me to use your fraud services and disagree with the refund.
I don't want to use your fraud service.
Please provide a refund for the remaining time of your fraud service if you don't want to make a complete refund.
Note: I disagreed with our discussion because you are saying the same thing again and again.

    My brother got a call from Shine.com to register for their paid services which would cost Rs 3292 and would be valid for 1 year. The services provided in this package is a profile booster service and also assisting on scheduling the interviews as well as provide guidance on preparation for interviews.

    He paid this amount and got an acknowledgement email from shine learning on his email.Later he got another call from the team to pay RS 5000 to avail the learning services. The caller was forcing to pay this amount but he denied.There was some agrument on the call on not notifying about this during the first call.Later my brother disconnected the call denying to pay further amount.
    This incident happened on 23rd April 2022 and after that he is unable to contact them via phone or email They are not responding on emails.
    Request you to help us get our money back.

        Today I got one call one leady specking like that you have give interview, I answer it yes, because I attend Interview from my class Training and placement department .

        when I was ask her which company I am selected, she did not answer it and saying first do the payment and Document for verification.

        I am Confuse, Without any Test, Interview and HR Interview how am I select.
        then I ask her please provide me all detail and Then I will Pay the money and call repeatedly and do the payment,
        then she is argue with me and saying like that, Your Document will be block for 5 year.

          I m priya from Jalandhar few days back I got a call from Indigo airlines tht is hr mahi Sharma ..she said she is from Indigo nd my cv is selected for data entry job she said you have to pay 2100 for the interview I refused to pay after tht she said I will send you Google test nd then you pay i said ok I do tht after tht she said you have to pay now i paid them then telephonic interview is conducted nd I cleared it then they asked me the security amount 7000 smthing i paid them after that they said you have to pay 15000 for your max HDFC current account i refused to pay nd when I asked them refund they said refund processed will be done in 45-90 days after then again they call me nd said if you paid 5000 your work will be done ..i said ok nd paid them 5000 after a day when I asked tht why I didn't get any notification for bank opening they said tht your work will not be done in 5000 you have to pay 10000 more i paid them 10000 by some how..after 3-4 days they again called me and said as you have done double time translation your work Is not done as we have to put only one transaction screenshot after than when I asked them my refundation they said that we are doing your redundandion in urgency you have to pay 6000 the guy called name Vishal Mehra nd other person who send me the I'd card of Rahul Sharma .. they r just making me the fool ...they said tht we told you to pay 6500 you have to pay that amount again as double transaction can't be done ...i paid them tht also after tht they asked me to pay some gateways charges then gst then again gateways charges by saying tht on tht day you complete your processer lately ...again some fine for doing work lately they took 1 lakh 88 thousand 870 rs approx form me after that they are again asking me money tht last payment you have done in wrong account you have to done it in some another account ..now i m not picking up their calls ...they r totally fraud ..they took a huge amount from me on the name of refundation ...they keep telling the lies ..the person is from Delhi, gurgaon..because the bank details they provided me are from tht places..please kindly resolve my case I m really worried .i m in debt bcz of this

            On 18th Apr 2022-I got a call from Shine.com stating that I should purchase a resume highlighter pack which would get me more visibility and jobs in the market. Once I paid, the initial amount- one after the other I was asked to pay and a total of Rs.[protected]+6017+9923+9438)was paid to shine.com on 18th Apr 2022. Since then, the services received are a sham and today I got a call saying that for my profile they don't have jobs and I can file a complaint and seek a refund. For taking a refund, they are asking me to pay Rs. 10 on https://shinecomplaints.com/
            However, I have lost trust in this fraudulent company and all I want is refund of the amount I have paid. Even on 18th Apr - I had emailed shine(r.[protected]@shine.com) asking how to get a refund of the money that I paid. However, they chose to ignore it.

              Hi Team,
              Could you please help me with below concern :
              I have received a call on Feb 14th 2022 from One Career Point saying we have selected your profile from Shine.com and you have 3 confirmed Job offers and to arrange the interview they asked me to pay amount. Initially they asked only 3500 as Registration fee. Next, they took me to their website https://onecareerpoint.com/mycareer/product/employment-verification/ and started asking do payment for document verification. While I was on call they insisted me to pay next and next like that I paid 52, 000 in total . In between I was asking them why didn’t you told me in the beginning of the call to pay this much. and they were not answering me saying mam please complete the procedure we can’t discontinue now and if we dont arrange a job with in 60 days we will refund your amount . So I did payment from my credit card.

              After all done I was continuously chasing them through call since there was not response via mail I used to call them . They kept saying document verification is going on from third party end. We will tell you once done. They crossed 66 days of the payment done. I again called them and asked why are you delaying and they said verification is done . But for Cover letter you need to do 2 part again then we will schedule interview this week. I was not ready to make payment and I asked I’m not satisfied with your service refund the money . They said no we cant and he started shouting at me. He also blackmailed me saying i ll block your profile and you cant do anything. I said them I ll take legal action on you. He replied me in text message do whatever you want I ll also take a legal action on you by mailing to your current company.

              So much happened to me and he ( Neeraj and Rajeev) was not ready to make refund and now his mobile is switched off.

              Hii..my name is Divya iyer..I got a call from shine.com on 22 nd April 2022..they told me that my profile are shortlisted..they lined my interview in three banks HDFC bank, Axis Bank and ICICL bank..for registration they told me that they will send send a link of shine.com portal..in that I have to register myself after that on call they told I just have to pay only 29 rupees..I was denying..but they convinced me to pay through my debit card..I told I will pay only Google pay..somehow he convinced me to pay through debit card.i put my debit card details on that shine.com link..after 5 minutes when I checked my account they deducted my money of rupees 66000.. I told them instead of deducting rupees 29 rupees..they deducted the amount of 66000 in my bank account..I called on that number and asked to refund my money back..on call he guided me for refund policy..I followed his direction of going back to the same link and applied for refund..I didnt received my money..please sir..help me out.i am sharing the link he shared with me and the mobile number..

                I have made the payment for premium service but there is no service provided and I was told there are many opportunities for u but there are none after I paid. The sales man cunningly named all the big companies but they don't have any company jobs.
                Also they were asking for additional amount which I denied

                I need refund of 3299 and they are denying it

                  This is a fake company!! A bunch of con artists have come together taking advantage of situations! With false promises and charging you an arm and a leg. My loss is Rs. 61, 389.66 to be precise. They are least concerned about their deliverables and promises once they are paid!!! You will be left high and dry!! Please don't fall for any promises they make. They are not genuine!! You will end up loosing your precious resources during the low point in your life.
                  They are nothing but a bunch of swindlers!!

                    I bought paid service from shine.com but they paid me first and against that they are not providing any proper service he is not answering my call i complain many times to shine customer care but no reply.
                    many type service he sale me ..and now again he call me to buy more service other wise your pervious service is not beneficial for you..I have no money for it ...they was not tell me about money for service.. 1st he told me service 3292/- application highlighter fir 6 monts and Resume booster. I git it...after he sys next service is 2nd service 4673/- Negotiation skill and Education verification, I take it again. then after again he offerings service 3rd 8376/- interviewing and Haring test, now he again offered me 14000 something service.i cant take it your service. shine all day call me to buy this service unless your pervious service is worthless...and my pervious service is also not in my used i[censored]se available then why not shine suggest me. shine my all information shared with other fraud agencies he all day call me to jobs with paid ..i am also victim By shin fraud 20000 recently by call. this is very disappointed me.

                        I got a call from shine.com on 21st April 2022and the person told me that you have selected your profile and want to provide your services for better job opportunities and he explained some things that they will edit my profile with their expert team and forward my profile to companies and will line up interview and the cost will be only 3292 rupees and he send me the link to pay, i paid the money then he told me that now you will get a call back from an agent and he will take your resume and forward your profile then I got a call on 23/04/2022, that guy name was Rohit and told me that i checked your resume and some things are missing .So we need to upgrade it like we will edit it and will do background verification & education verification. Background verification is only done by companies and he demanded me 5158 rupees for these 2 things, I completely denied and i told him that i have already paid 3292 rupees, but he completely persuaded me and told me if you will not pay then your 3292 rupees will be of no use so you need to pay. He told me that from now you don't have to pay anything else after this. I paid that 5158 rupees amount and then to my surprise he sent me one more link to pay 9556 amount for the same profile edition, i told him that i have already paid for it and now you are asking same money for same thing then he told me that you have to pay otherwise it will not work, you need to complete the process. further to that he gain sent me link to pay 16158 rupees for resume writing services to process my profile and provide me interview emails & he told me that it will not work and you need to pay more 16158 rupees, i refused to pay and asked for the refund paid earlier as i paid for those services & not got anything from them and will go to consumer court for this fraud. Hedenied to refund saying they do not have refund policy & then he tried to threaten me by saying he will inform organization, I said go ahead. Till now now I have lost 17953 rupees with zero service.
                        I need refund of my 17953 rupees immediately.

                          Hi team, I am Nishan
                          I got the call from shine team saying that I am looking for certain profile and they can promote the profile if the get the membership cost of 3292 i did pay that and they mentioned all the services will be provided thinking about future. After that I get the call from some of the senior management and his name was Umar he explained about all the services and at last he mentioned that I need to pay 7486 for additional details adding in the system. I got frustrated but just thinking about not wasting earlier money I paid 7486 to them. And after few minutes again he told to transfer 14000 which will help me to get more services and get the job in a week. At this time I refused and lost the trust on this part and asked for the refund .and later their way of communicating was different and no services will be provided in this they said like account management and all that.

                            Dear Sir,

                            Reference to above, today one Ms Deepa called stating that she is representing from shine.com and there is only a fee of Rs.10/- to remit without any other charges for seeking job or employment.
                            She told me to open the web site:www.referenceonshine.com of Rs.10/- and told told to register by filling the details and remit the fees only with options like Rs.10/-, Rs.99/- and Rs.299/-. She specifically told me to remit the fees of Rs.10/-. I used the ICICI Bank credit card to pay Rs.10/- with 3D security option & received the OTP and filled to submit. Transaction failed after submission. All this has happened between 11.30am to 11.45am. After few minutes I received the message in my mobile with deduction of an amount of Rs.10100/- drawn from One Mobiwik Sys at 11.28am.
                            Kindly advise how to recover the amount which I lost and how do I believe your website. I request my amount of Rs.10, 100/- to get refunded to my account at the earliest for no fault of mine.
                            I am filing a complaint to ICICI bank and the jurisdictional Police station by tomorrow i.e. 23.04.2022. I can produce the transaction details if it is needed. I need your response of the said web site of this complaint since I lost faith in Shine.com till I get the confirmation.

                            Dear Sir,

                            Reference to above, today one Ms Deepa called stating that she is representing from shine.com and there is only a fee of Rs.10/- to remit without any other charges for seeking job or employment.
                            She told me to open the web site:www.referenceonshine.com of Rs.10/- and told told to register by filling the details and remit the fees only with options like Rs.10/-, Rs.99/- and Rs.299/-. She specifically told me to remit the fees of Rs.10/-. I used the ICICI Bank credit card to pay Rs.10/- with 3D security option & received the OTP and filled to submit. Transaction failed after submission. All this has happened between 11.30am to 11.45am. After few minutes I received the message in my mobile with deduction of an amount of Rs.10100/- drawn from One Mobiwik Sys at 11.28am.
                            Kindly advise how to recover the amount which I lost and how do I believe your website. I request my amount of Rs.10, 100/- to get refunded to my account at the earliest for no fault of mine.
                            I am filing a complaint to ICICI bank and the jurisdictional Police station by tomorrow i.e. 23.04.2022. I can produce the transaction details if it is needed. I need your response of the said web site of this complaint since I lost faith in Shine.com till I get the confirmation.

                            Personal Privacy breach and Financial Loss: Security breach in Shine.com's job portal, resulting in online banking fraud of Rs 50, 000/- on 23/05/2022

                            This reply is absolutely ridiculous as well as a classic case of:
                            1. sweeping the issue under the carpet
                            2. shifting the blame back to the aggrieved party

                            I have a simple question, "why Shine.com is not responsible for and should not expressly claim all liability for any such communication via email, SMS or phone call, when the fraudulent caller calls up immediately after I apply to a particular job via shine jobs link (that diverts me to login portal of shine.com to apply using candidate's profile)" ??

                            This is a serious breach of a candidate's privacy, since clearly the fraudster has successfully got access to my information including my phone number.

                            Shine.com should seriously devise ways to make candidate profiles far more secure, rather shrugging off their responsibility towards one of the key user segment i, e, candidates. For instances where things might be beyond your scope, you should/ could have rather reached out to candidates as a preventive measure, at least if Shine.com ever believed in or strives for "rich user experience". (simply by newspaper advertisement we should not claim to have reached to maximum/ potential user base)

                            Also, generic suggestions like, "request you to please do not share your debit or credit card details with anyone", actually don't help much. Simply because in my case, nothing was shared, but I had just opened a Shine.com link (sent by the fraudulent impersonator). In fact, neither was any information submitted nor any transaction completed.

                            Rather, specific action plans from a "so called brand" Shine, would be much more useful for the greater good:
                            such as steps taken to make the platform robust or privacy proofing the platform.

                            Without such problem resolution or user friendly approach, I guess Shine should cease to operate as one of the leading job platforms for candidates, simply because they do not claim to take any responsibility

                            (just to note:
                            a. never have we received any fraudulent calls after uploading portal on Naukri.com or other players
                            b. kindly guide me with the procedure to delete my profile/ candidature permanently from shine portal).

                                My name is Shikha Mishra.I got a call from shine.com and the person told me that you have selected your profile and want to provide your services for better job opportunities and he explained some things that they will edit my profile with their expert team and forward my profile to companies and will line up interview and the cost will be only 2005 rupees and he send me the link to pay, i was denying but he told me that trust us, i paid the money then he told me that now you will get a call back from an agent and he will take your resume and forward your profile then I got a call, that guy name was Brajesh and told me that i checked your resume and some things are missing .So we need to upgrade it like we will edit it and will do background verification, background verification is only done by companies but he lied me that this is under precedure and he demanded me 8295 rupees for these 2 things, I completely denied and i told him that i have already paid 2005 rupees which was too much for me, I can't afford it, but he completely persuaded me and told me if you will not pay then your 2005 rupees will be of no use so you need to pay.He told me that from now you don't have to pay anything.I was in denail mode and i told him that i need to think on it then he told me that you have to pay right now as it wil not work later.I paid that big 8295 rupees amount then i told me now just process it, then he told me that you have to pay more and sent me one more link to pay 11455 amount for the same profile edition, i told him that i have already paid for it and now you are asking same money for same thing then he told me that you have to pay otherwise it will not work, you need to complete the process, i told him are you crazy and told me you can;t keep asking for the same money and i told him to process my profile and provide me interview emails and the services for which i paid this much big amount of 10300 but he told me that it will not work and you need to pay more 11455 rupees, he had o shame and humanity and told me thta take this money from somebody and pay it otherwise you will net get any service, i told him that yu told me that this wil be the last time and still you asked for 11455 more amount, I asked for the refund but he denied and he denied to give me ay service and was keep forcing me that you have to pay more if you want to process your profile.I disconnected his call and he was keep calling me and asked for the money.So now I have lost 10300 with 0 service and there whole team tried to take more money from me with fake services and lies.Now i just want the return not anything else as soon as possible.I will destroy this company.I am from a middle class family and they did this to me.I NEED MY REFUND OF RUPEES 10300 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE OTHERWISE I WILL TAKE A BIG ACTION.

                                  Education and Experience Verification package

                                  I initially registered for the job portal/resume highlighter service of Shine.com for 3k. That in itself has not helped me much at all. However, they delayed giving me the login saying that my education and experience needed to be verified by their third party vendors to make my resume more attractive. And I had to pay another 5k for that.

                                  After a lot of convincing, I paid. Then realized that 3k out of that 5k+ was for a course...

                                  Hi Team,

                                  I had approached to Shine.com for resume writing and done the payment of INR 5310.00/- on 13th evening after 6pm.
                                  On 14th Mr. Suraj Sharma contacted me and asked me to come online as some more procedures are following. He never told me of full package for the services or anything. He informed me that I need to get the authentication service in order to get my CV done and make it visible. I was NOT happy as I clearly told him why then I was not informed this from the beginning. He tried to convince me a lot and told me that it is the last service I need to purchase. After a long discussion I agreed and paid the amount of 7197.00/-. Immediately he sent me another link and told me that I also need to pay for this service, which annoyed me a lot. I was not happy at all and I informed him that the same things is getting repeated again. I don’t see any transparency and I am not comfortable is doing the payment as it was again not informed me. I asked him for refund and to connect me with his manager. He get me connected with Someone Called Shiva and he told me that the earlier amount what I have is paid is non- refundable. And I need to trust them. Again Suraj told me that it is the last transaction. After 1hr of discussion I paid the amount as I never wanted to lose the earlier amount. Again as soon as I paid the amount of 12034.00/-, Suraj sent me another link and asked me to that payment of 17227.00/-. And this time I decided not to pay anymore and realised that it is a SCAM/TRAP altogether. But was quite surprised that why such a reputed Organization will stoop into these kind of petty activities to earn money.

                                  So I sent them a mail immediately to refund me the amount and till that time I had not received any of the services. Suraj responded me again saying that the amount is Non-Refundable. This time, I went to company website and i could see that he is actually incorrect. “Refund if any will be at the sole discretion o[censored]s. We offer no guarantees whatsoever for the accuracy or timeliness of the refunds reaching the users card/bank accounts. We give no guarantees of server uptime or applications working properly. We undertake no liability for free services.”. So there is refund policy.

                                  After complaining to Shine, Suraj called me again and informed me that I need to prove about all the discussion if i have to get the money refund. Unfortunately I did not have any recording, as I never imagined that I will end up in this situation. And it was a call from Shine, so I trusted.. Though it is not just a matter of money, still it is a huge psychological torture to recall the whole proceeding. I wish it should not happen to others. I am sure Shine need to be much more transparent and do ethical approach for doing business. Not I am not sure why they are not ready to refund money when I had immediately informed them that I am not availing any services. I am sure they would have all the system recorded calls to verify my claim. Anyone will be able to check how the conversation went and how uncomfortable I was doing the payment each time due to lack of trust and transparency. I am sure Shine must be getting lots of customers. So why they want to enjoy someone’s hard earned money when I am not at all ready to avail the service as there is no more trust and I had informed them immediately to refund the money.

                                  I am sure Shine was started with some values and ethics. I Am even sure the CEO would have put lots of effort with some vision and target. Seems like only Target is left now without any vision, value and ethics. It is one of the biggest and successful brand in India and deals with career of the people. Sad to see that the business ethics has been compromised by some and the organization is getting an bad name. plz.. Save the brand, Save the TRUST. Shine have more potential and can do even better.

                                  Now i am not sure how can i get the refund from them spread an awareness about Shine.com. I hope they will correct the business model.

                                  I had got only 1 call from Shine escalation team. But asked them to call me back after 15mins since i was in a video conferencing call in office. I have not received any other call after that. Seems like shine just wants to delay the matter and not serious about it.

                                  I just had a chat with Rahul from escalation team. He is suggesting me to take the services i have paid the amount. Not sure when i have sent mail not to avail the services immediately after doing the payment because of the non-transparency and lie, not sure why they are not ready to return the money. Strange... It shows the character of an organization. Rahul is also saying again and again that there is no Refund Policy, while i have copy pasted the policy in the mail and it clearly suggests that it is at organization's discretion. Interesting to see the amazing business model and stubborn of way of behaving and not returning the money. Rahul is only called to convince to avail the services. But for me it is lack of trust. and Not possible to proceed with availing the services. Strange Organization, Strange Business Ethics and very innovative way of cheating people. Not sure if the CEO of the organization is aware of these fraudulent behavior or Infact he promotes it. Anyway there is a need to spread an awareness about the organization.

                                  Still waiting for my refund and still have a believe somewhere that the CEO is a gentleman and the organization will behave professionally and work on refunding my money. The guilty consciousness within me of being cheated by Shine is killing me everyday... So expect better behavior and transparent business model. Else how much you earn in these faulty way, will not make anyone happy.

                                  I just had a word with Taiyab and Suraj was present. Taiyab is quite impossible to talk and he sounds more like threating me than trying to understand the issue. He is not at all ready to listen my problem. Only telling one word that "you have done the payment". I have asked him if he has gone through the recording, and his answer was investigation is done. Strange.. one colleague is doing investigation against other.. and then both have already decided not to listen and frustrate me. So id did not see any point in continuing the conversation and disconnect as it was not very healthy and could realize whatever i tell is not going to matter to them, as they have decided to bulldoze every logic and not refund money.

                                  Pathetic Organization, totally unprofessional behavior, unethical business model. I am surprised how come the CEO sleep peacefully after cheating people and torturing them psychological. I asked them the call recordings and they are not ready to provide that as well. I know writing here is not going to give me any advantage. I knew that they have no intention of returning money as Taiyab sent mail yesterday that "Without discussion, we will not be able to provide you any resolution, kindly cooperate.". So the kindly word was only decorative. This is not a individual problem or behavior. Looks more like an organization culture. Earlier also Taiyab called me one and was not ready to listen to me. So there was no point why again he was assigned to discuss with me. Hopeless Organisation, Non transparent policy and Unethical business model.

                                  If possible just get answers to below questions:

                                  1. When i was telling that i am not interested in any other services, why then Suraj was trying to make me understand for an hr to do the payment. Even if i said again and again, he was pushing me to do the payment. That time itself i told him that i am not interested in any other services and Why i was not informed during 1st payment about 2nd payment, he keep on telling that trust me and do the payment. This is the last one and you will get the benefit. Since i was in call with him, i could not check the refund policy that time. When he was telling me so many thing even after my denial to go for these services, he should have informed me then that there is no refund policy. Noone has stopped him that time.

                                  2. Whe i did the payment for 2nd time, again the same thing happened. He said this is the last payment. And pushed me again. Even i talked to him about refund that time and talked to Shiva as well. Shiva also assured me to go ahead and do the payment. That time also it was told to me that it is the last transaction. And i did it else i was loosing 12000/ + money i have paid already.

                                  3. And when he sent me the 4th link and asked to do another payment, i realised that i am in trap and it is a scam. Since there is no more trust left, there is no point of availing the services. So i asked for refund immediately.

                                  4. When non of the services i have availed, how come the professional organization choose to retain the amount and not listen at all to the consumers concern. Till now noone has contacted me for preparing resume, which was 1st step of the process.

                                  If possible get the answer for the above.

They will be even not bothered if someone gives them good feedback and mention the areas of improvement. MONEY is 1st thing and EVERTHING. So it is just waste of time to put any query here. Anyway I am totally satisfied with my interaction SHINE .. It is a life time learning experience. I am obliged to SHINE for teaching me that it is not necessary that you trust everyone. Perhaps the BIGGEST LESSON in life. I have my lessons learned, so i am benefited in life and SHINE is benefited monetarily. So it is WIN -WIN situation for everyone.                                     I have purchased services from Shine due some force and then realized not use them. Same day requested stop services and return the paid money. I lost faith because, Shine violated Data privacy policy, Shine backend team shared my personal data to scammers, they tried to grab money with that information. Starting onwards Shine representatives are not behaving frankly and in-between faced the above issue.

                                      A very good afternoon to you sir, my name is faisal ali. And i am from pilkhuwa dist (Hapur). I was searching for a job a call came and the said we are calling from Haldiram and they asked are you searching for a job i agreed so they asked for my Documents, I provided my documents and after that they asked for 750 registration fee a paid as according to them it was refundable.
                                      On next they the charged me for Rs. 5500 for a document verification and i paid after that i found that they are scammers I appealed for refund then they asked for Rs. 2250 as a file cancellation charge now they are saying that you have to pay rs. 3300 something as 18%Gst then they will refund me my whole amount, a scam has happened with me i appeal to have a look over it.

                                      I believe in law and order of my country, it's a humble request please have a look over it.
