I placed my 1st online order with ShopClues on 26-Feb for Nokia Bluetooth BH-217 (with all accessories) Order no: 11561267. I've confirmed via email before buying & shipment about accessories in the box along with the bluetooth device & I was advised they will be included. I paid full advance (Rs. 528/- Deal amount). They do a Quality check before dispatching. I received delivery on 3-Mar'14 & when I opened package I found accessories which were committed they were missing like Car Cradle, Carrying Clip etc hence I instantly notified their Call centre & also emailed. Then they requested me to send pics which I did. They arrange to re-ship it back to them & agreed the parts were missing. Even on the Nokia box it is mentioned "includes Car Cradle & carrying Clip". Their merchant then changed the logs on his website that this now wont be part of Std package. However I showed their staff, it was mentioned earlier, after they were convinced they gave me below options.
I was then given an option of Refund / Re-shipment. I preferred re-shipment since that was all, what I needed. They created a new number this time. Order No: 11957418, dtd 12-Mar'14. They doing quality check on 14-Mar'14. The only reason why it has to be re-shipped was to ensure that this time all the missing accessories are delivered. I received its shipment on 18-Mar'14 & opened it with a LIVE VIDEO recording to capture everything (http://youtu.be/j0V5WqwcNng). To my upset, this time again the same set of accessories were missing, it seems they have sent the same parcel which was sent earlier. On the Nokia box it is clearly mentioned "includes Car Cradle & carrying Clip" but still it wasn't found. It clearly seems either their Quality Check Dept' OR the merchant has tampered / opened the box & removed the accessories. I instantly notified their call centre, followed by an email for the same. Trust me, I was very upset since I've developed lots of hopes & desire for my product. Why shouldn't I? Also I identified that their merchant is selling this product with all accessories as a different heading at a premium price of Rs. 750/- (I booked it @ Rs. 528/-) hence he may be reluctant to deliver the accessories to me. I was then asked to ship it back which I did on 22-Mar'14. All this while, its me who kept calling their service center, sending them emails, but they never entertained. I told their call centre staff - Gaurav Pahuja & Mr. Jaswinder very clearly that I expect "only want my complete order to be dispatched to me. & do not prefer any refund" since that's was useless now, I've wasted lots of time, energy etc in highlighting in 1st place etc etc. I've also now lost similar deals available on online/retail stores near my location. They can't simply refund my amount & run away from your responsibilities." Trust me there were more than 10 phone calls & 10 emails I have send to express my expectation. Still they ignored & this morning, 27-Mar'14, they emailed they have initiated my refund, which means they simply want to run away from their responsibilities by supporting these cheating merchants (Shri SidhiVinayak Online Store & Shri Shyam Telecom).
When I contacted their call centre they said "Merchant isn't having this in stock right now"
My question to them was, if it wasn't in stock then Why did they accept my deal in 1st place?
What check their Quality Check Dept did on 28-Feb before dispatching?
If merchant wasn't having it in stock they why did they re-ship (They have arranged for re-shipment it means they wud have confirmed the availablity)?
What check their Quality Check Dept did for the 2nd time on 14-Mar before dispatching?
To all these questions, I got only one answer, via email & also via phone from their Support Staff - "Gaurav Pahuja", "Sir - I accept our mistake & we are sorry since its our mistake for all these 3 instances"
I do not know their merchant, I only know Shopclues since it seems to be an authentic company & I've paid them hence I'm liable to ask them about my product in full. It should be their responsibilty to get it from any merchant & deliver my product to me in full.
Its more than a month now &; they are not concerned for the mental stress which I've gone thru. There merchants are misleading clients by pasting inappropriate product features on their website & ShopClues is supporting them. They want to sell it at premium rates but doesnt want to fulfil the order taken at lower rate. Despite having it in stock they are not dispatching it & initiated my refund which i never wanted.
Above all they say they have BUYERS PROTECTIONS so that merchants do not cheat customers. I would say they do not mean it, if they mean so they would have helped me in getting my deal.
I have wasted more than a month for this. Lots of time, energy & money has been wasted in making phone calls & emails to them. Mental stress has developed. Can u please help me in getting appropriate compensation for this mental stress & their bad attitude towards helping customers?
