This is w.r.t complaint against deficeny in broadband services, this is the second time I am writing a mail.

Since a month I have been facing and issue that broadband doesn't work post 09:00 PM

All lights are reflecting in the modem however post 9 at night internet doesnt work but in the morning it works fine. I've tried getting in touch with the lineman however he acknowledges the issues but there is no resolution provided.

Post escalating the matter to nodal officer there is no response.
Siti Broadband customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Facing this issue very often.
done speed test numerous times but the results are always disappointing.
Kindly check the issue and try not to repeat it or i shall find other alternative broadband company plans.
Quite annoyed with calling customer care every week.

    We as customers are not getting any update with regards to recent changes in Tariff rate of Broadband services.

    There is a discrepancy in the amount being charged by the operator as a result.

    We as customers give 15% as service tax. What is the responsibility of the state, central govt and the service provider ?

      Today after 2 days i login to siti broadband and next open facebook.com but its not loading but other site like youtube.com, google.com, gmail.com etc loading perfectly.. It only happened with facebook.com. I hope you wil fixed it soon.. I check ping and its goes normal sometimes ping loss nearly 17%. My user id is: bhuinya_tc. And my phone no is [protected]

        Siti broadband located at haldia offers overpriced packages and poor/low to no network connection almost 90% of the time. I got a package of ₹1200 of 1mbps/month... Been using this for like couple months now... Their network has always been crappy and now they basically have no network connection. Its not a problem with me but also other collegemates in hostel in other rooms.
        Complained about it for like so many times but all in vain. They just dont seem to care. Please consider this matter and take necessary steps against this company.

          I am writing for the poor internet connectivity services. I took up the SITI broadband internet services 3 months ago. Since 1 month i am facing daily internet connectivity issue.

          I am creating customer care ticket almost on a daily basis. They doesn't seems to have adequate infrastructure to support 24*7 internet services and even then they are charging a hefty amount from its customers.

          I feel cheated by this company and request to take appropriate action against this company.

            In kolkata and nearby districts'(in west bengal) 512kbps plan(with peering) charge rs 448/- only
            where for the same package at onda in bankura district(same state) they are charging 569/-
            it is a huge difference.
            Another problem -
            in kolkata every package from 512 kbps can provides auto login facility.Where at onda(dist- bankura, west bengal)there is no auto login facility for 512 kbps plan.
            I think there should not be any difference for same plan in various places.

              Same thing with us well are paying them from last 4-5 months for 100MBPS plan of 1799 but they giving us service for 899 Plan of 25MBPS when we got to know the issue about this they are telling us that they don't have high speed modem in their stock from last two months and charging us the same plan Rs-1799 and Giving us service for Rs-899. Still we are waiting on complaints from them but no response are exact date given to us when we will get proper service for which we are paying.

                  SITI Broadband Customer support is the worst. For the past week I am having a continuous ping loss (30 -40%) when I ping their default gateway after a sluggish speed. Even pinging google .co .in results an ms reading of 110 + which is very high. I tried their customer care number for past 4 days yet nobody seems to care .No one picks the phone up and with that stupid automated voice system all I end up with is a depleted call balance. Today I tried another number which belongs to one of their staff ..he instead of listening told me to try their customer care number when I explained my situation to him he cut the call. Now I am back to square one..still figuring out what to do.These guys are cheaters.

                  I'm complaining about wifi

                  Here are no any response by him, my wifi doesn't working from 5 days, when i call there, he always giving me excused that just we are trying & ur request forwarding.

                    Hello,

                    I am, Atanu Das, customer ID atanud_rkn is disgusted with your poor service connection. It seems I am wasting money or doing charity by paying service provider for no reason. The provided service is BELLOW POVERTY LEVEL and getting poorer every day. I am complaining almost on a regular basis but there was no BOLD STEP taken to resolve this issue permanently. I have spoken with the Local Cable Operator (Radha Krishna Netcom - 4 Sri. Niwas deoralia Road, PO-Belurmath West Bengal Howrah Pin-711202) too. When I called the Customer Care they assured me the Speed will be OKAY within few days - but frankly speaking that particular DAY do not come yet. The internet goes in sleep reminding EARLY TO BED AND EARLY TO RISE. But neither it gets healthy nor makes me wise. I need to inform the consumer forum to take necessary action against SITI CABLE BROADBAND. For last 5 months I was facing this technical issue on a regular basis. Hope you will take necessary steps expeditiously against these guys.
                    I have purchased new siti broadband on 04/11/2016, on 03/12/2016 I renewed my broadband online. Rs 1034/- has been debited from my account. since 03/12/2016, I am continuously calling customer care [protected]
                    again and again you people allot tracking number instead resolving the issue by updating my payment from back end you people are just passing the time.I have not delayed the payment but still i am without broad band since two days. I don't know how much time you people will take for such a small issue.Please increase my days as I am without broad band only because of siti people who are not working properly, otherwise I will quit relationship.

                    I am using SITI broadband from last more than 1 year. It has become general practice with SITI cable provider that out of 7 days a week atleast 2 days we face problem that internet is not working. I have raised complaint several times and a temporary fix is provided instead of resolving it from the root. Office of siti provider opens after 11:00 AM and nobody cares at SITI how much inconvenience it provides to customer. SITI office is not having any control on SITI cable provider and as a result these providers do whatever they want to do.

                    Trust me on this SITI service is horrible. Every day we will face a connection issue and call them every alternate days and what they trll us is wait tomorrow 9 am or 10 am or other time which means we use the sevice 10 to 15 days in the total usage. Being tired of their excuses and nonsense we call the cust service today which is 09/02/2018 morn and they told us to wait for 8 hours and now its the evening and they told us to wait till tomorrow 9 am again. We req to rectify or get the refund cos we havnt use the serv properly from the we newly recharge for the month. We ask to xfer the call to a manager and they told us there is no manager in cos its sunday. WTF are they fooing us??? Agent go to office without any management dept???funny. Atlast thanager came in and we told him the issue and he himself cant handle it and said he will send a technician tomorrow and i told him to send them now then the manager keep overtalk the whole conversation. We ask for refund but no proper respknd.He got an amazing attitude on his cust service being a manager then he disconnect the call. We kept calling them up but keep making excuse that to hold the line for manager then they mute the call from their end and cut the call. Now my issue is unresolved cos they are scared to talkthen they muted the call again and cut the call.
                    Dear Team Siti,

                    The term "Infinite" refers to "limitless or endless in space, extent, or size; impossible to measure or calculate"

                    The plan offered to me was Infinite (1060/- plan) and as per definition, there should be no change in any GBs or reduction in speed as suggested by the dictionary meaning of the word.

                    To my surprise, there is another plan for some 820/- (inclusive of GST) which offers better. The limit is for 400GB and not for 150GB. Ironically the plan is running for last 2-3 months. If there is any better plan then same should be changed to suit the customer and help him save more but same was never advised and SITI has taken 600/- approx. extra from me and has been giving me a degraded plan.

                    Now the plan cannot be changed in the mid term or else I will have to bear another 400/- odd loss (for the remaining days left in the current plan) if I plan to get it changed right away.

                    Total loss in that case would be some 1000/-. The customer is supposed to bear the loss and not the company.
                    That is just for 1 customer.

                    Incase you have some 300000 odd customers on this plan then you have already earned 12cr by now by just keeping mum about it and not letting the customer get the benefit. How gross is that?

                    This should get notified to the higher authorities who think the organization like yours with a good brand name whom people trusted is working on otherwise objectives and vision.
                    Sorry to say, but the trust doesn't remain anymore in your so called SITI.

                    Very very very very bad services are being provides even after recharging the broadband there is no internet connection then why are we paying for such a unsatisfying service.
                    I kindly request to look into this matter and provide high speed internet or otherwise i will have to change my broadband connection

                      I made a payment of - INR 1709 (this includes the balance of Rs. 228 from the previous plan) on 12th October 2015 for a plan change for 100 Mb/s.
                      As i did not receive the desired speed and instead the speed was around 12- 13 Mb/s i gave a call to the customer service on 15th October when the ticket number - [protected] was created. I got a call from the network team the same day and was informed that my modem needs to be changed and would be done within the next 2-3 days.
                      The next day i received the message that the ticket - [protected] was closed and hence I called the network guy and was informed that the modem change would require at least a month or minimum 20 days.

                      So once that is confirmed, there was no logic in continuing this plan as my usage of 50 GB would be completed in a speed of 2- 3 Mb/s wherein I have paid for a very high speed.
                      Now when I am trying to change my plan to a lower speed, it is still asking for money.
                      I called the customer service on 17th and was informed that I need to send my concern on email. I have sent all these on email as well as requested by the customer Service Guy on 17th October. No response received.

                      I called the Customer Service on 21st October and the guy assured me that my previous email has been sent to the network team and he has raised another ticket - [protected] for getting my issue resolved for Speed which had decreased to only 2.50 Mb/s.
                      I checked the ticket today on 31st and found that the incident was closed after I disconnected the phone on 21st, not sure what happened to the customer services guy.
                      I called in today again to get an update... Naresh picked up the phone and did not know my issue by the previous tickets.
                      I repeated my concern again and he assured me that he is raising a request for the modem upgrade again, which sounded awkward to me that for these many days no one in SITI even bothered to raise a request for.
                      My total usage till now is 21 GB in a speed of 2-3 Mb/s. So I am left with another 29 GB. Till the time I would receive the modem, I am sure I would complete another 10 GB (Go through my usage history), which means I would be left with 19-20 GB of data in 100 Mb/s connection. So basically I paid a total amount of Rs.1709 for a speed of 100 Mb/s - 50 GB connection and I got - 2-3 Mb/s 30 GB connection and 100 Mb/s 20 GB Connection.
                      This shows that they are overcharging me and not providing what I requested for.
                      Naresh also confirmed that the best he could do is give me the modem as soon as possible and nothing else.

                      I am a user of Siti Broadband in Chandannagar with 384kbps unlimited plan. They promised me of giving peering speed but for last 2 months m not getting any peering. Simply they r cheating us. Please help me.

                        I recently got a Siti Broadband 1Mbps connection in Kolkata 41 area. The invoice in my account shows a total payable amount of Rs 1122.48 whereas the local cable operator charges me Rs 1520 a month I contacted Siti Cable regarding this and emailed their VP Mr Souvick Chatterjee but got no response from them Since there are no other ISPs in our area, Siti is running a monopoly and cheating customers. Could anybody else who is having a 1Mbps Siti Broadband connection please confirm how much they are paying each month? Thanks

                        The LCO is charging a flat Rs 400 extra from me. In other words, I am being cheated by Rs 400 per month by my LCO

                        This is ridiculous
