I had purchased a 55" KD 8000H Sony Bravia TV from M/S Great Eastern Trading Co. A.B. Road, Indore on Saturday, 12.06.2021 vide invoice no. M1724/2122/00186 . The TV was installed the same day by your service engineer Vikas Hardiya. However, while giving a demo, he did not advise about the need and the mechanism for updating the software and nor was any arrangement made for an auto-update. As a result, the TV stopped functioning yesterday about 1 pm. When I complained to the local Sony Service Centre[protected] and Mr. Vikas Hardiya, they expressed their inability to attend before today. Your service engineer reached my place today at 12.30 pm. In the meantime, I had called a friend who had a Sony Bravia TV . He showed me how to update the software and put it on auto update. Your service engineer when questioned about it, ilied and was rude. He said that he does not know why the TV stopped functioning. I am now regretting my decision to buy a Sony TV and will not advise my friends, relatives and acquaintances to buy any Sony product because of poor, inefficient and unsympathetic service.
