I'm travelling from chennai to coimbatore in busno:py 01 ch 3962 boarded @koyambedu. I couldn't tolerate the gas/petrol smell that comes from the ac. Its very annoying and i feel so uneasy. Its causing nausea and this s very bad experience i face. Please resolve this and dont let this lower ur brand name and image. This is the second time i'm facing this issue and its very unpleasant for a consumer. Please don't repeat the same for next time

    Is any action will be taken by this complaint forum is not known though 136 complaint was registered in this forum against srm transports chennai. This company is highly irresponsible and cheating the consumers and not responsive about their bus operations after booking tickets.
    Very very worst behaviour and highly irresponsible. Do not sit on complaints and do not prove you are also irresponsible forum. Any reply only show your existence.

    I am traveling from Bangalore to Tuticorin. We have 6 hours to reach the destination but the AC got repair. Staffs are not responding properly and adjustment is the response which we got from the staffs. There is no proper ventilation in the bus and I suffered suffocation because of this. This shows the worst customer support and worst management.

      I was charged with fare to chennai from vellankani even though my destination was pondicherry from a travel office. I realised this fraudulent when other passengers who got in without reservation to pondicherry was charged far more less than mine. Srm didn't provide any service from vellankani to pondicherry, but still they gave me reservation and the staff knew about this. And the staffs didn't let me get on the bus until they returned from hotel.

      We booked in srm Volvo bus by charging rs 860 get from chennai to tuticorin. But they sent (non AC ordinary bus) a worst conditioned bus. 3pm departure time(bus start 5:30pm). Very irresponsible response from driver(srm customer care people using bad words) . Not provided double drivers for the safety purpose. No passengers are satisfied...

        I had booked a ticket for madurai from chennai (potheri), the boarding time was at 10:45pm (feb 23), i reached the stop at 10:30pm(feb 23) and enquired a srm transport staff about the bus, this was the first time i had asked that staff (who replied in a rude manner) for details, and when it got very late which was about 12:05am i asked that person again for the bus details as the street was very lonely and i was the only person left, it had already been almost 2 hours since i asked him about the bus, but that staff just yelled at me for asking, This is honestly the worst experience i ever had with any transports, that staff yelled in a very loud voice "i told you to wait, you have to wait " and he added "if srm transports doesn't come on time why should you even book in srm transports " he said it not only to me but he had also been saying this to the other 5 people who were arguing with him about their late buses, please do the needful as such impolite person may reply in a same manner to others too and i have paid for my bus the bus wasn't free for him to ask me to wait, moreover this is the 4th time i tried reaching the srm transports helpline but they just put the call on hold .i submit this complaint on the welfare of the public and i humbly request that a severe action must be taken towards the agency .

          We booked in srm benzs sleeper coach bus by charging rs 1400 /- + get from chennai to nagercoil. But they sent a worst conditioned bus which is not able to go fast more than even 60km speed. 9.45pm departure time & just reached tirunelveli at 11.30am. They are not ready to refund any amount for compensation. Very irresponsible response from driver. Not provided double drivers for the safety purpose. No passengers are satisfied.

            I’ve booked a ticket through online from chennai koyambedu to periyakulam today for the travel on 10th feb 2019 for the bus departing at 21:00 from koyambedu.

            From my account the amount of ticket rs 945 have been deducted but i’ve not received any pnr number and confirmation so far from srm travels.

            I’ve tried customer care number several times but no response.

            The bus i booked from madurai to bangalore is delayed by 1.5 hours. No prior information or gps has been provided through msg r call. Very rude behavior by the staff in the srm office when asked about this issue. This disappointed all the passengers over there. Please take a action against this

              Hello there, this is to report that sleeper bus from nagercoil to chennai 8.30 pm (Mercedes benz) is not stoping often to use toilet facilities. I’ve noticed loads of passengers are being waiting to be stopped including women and kids but no response from the drivers. They were so rude to passengers and myself and i regret travelling again. Currently they stop in trichy at 3.20 am and they haven’t stopped for toilet use after. They were rude, not helpful and does no consideration even to elderly. I would urge to look into this matter asap and provide a solution. I can clearly see disappointment by other passengers and if this is case we would never consider travelling again in your transport.

                Hi team,

                I have travelled from kodaikannal to cmbt on 24th december,

                Ticket# dbaf15d3f at 24 dec 2018 time 18:45.

                The ac is working only from kodaikannal mountain to down, after that the ac is working and we have travelled for ten hours without ac, when enquired with the driver, he is asking us to adjust and travel.

                Where my seat is the last seat, how can i come without ac for 10 hours, and when i complained same abhi bus on tuesday morning regarding the issue, they have said solution will be give in 48 hours, but today is 4th day still there is no proper response from them.

                They always say that operator is not picking the call.

                Please help me to investigate the issue and refund the ticket money as well as the penatly for not solving the issue on time.

                Which have spoiled my health and taken half on next day. (875 bus fair+2000 my one day salary)

                Kattankulathur srm transport office staff behave very worst to me and a family. He doesn’t provide a seat to sit and proper details about bus timings and he used bad words to us. I feel a unsafe journey now. He conveyed something to the driver and cleaner about us. Take necessary action against the employee.
                We r travelling from chennai to palani through srm travels. once we entered the bus, the seat is dirty and not cleaned and smelly. there is no helper for the driver and there is no sub driver for the travel. very worst bus travel ever..when i call the customer care, they didnt respond also. r

                  I reserved the bus for 7.15 pm at koyambedu for nagercoil in srm transport, for bus enquiries also they are not responding well, and i assume they given a spare bus, bcoz they doing wiring near the steering wheel by the starting time as it cost 2200 plus tax, we be believe it will go by 8 pm atleast, we are at 9 am and it shows 30 kms to tirunelveli.. Feel very worse in this travel

                    Hi, i traveled on srm bus from chennai to coimbatore. They call the bus as ac sleeper mercedes benz bus for which they charge around 2000 per ticket. I don't see even a basic facilities like providing a blanket.. Traveling with kids or senior people in this bus should be avoided. If we ask anything, the bus driver or attender will not bother to answer. The sleeper berth does not even covered with any piece of cloth. These guys are cheating like anything and we should not encourage such people.

                    Hi today (10/01/2019)i have booked the ticket from chennai to tirunelveli and the bus no is TN-19 AD 3508. while bookng the seat no was 14 and they changed to 45 at the bus without any information. I haven't except this kind of practices from SRM.hope will get the feedback .

                      Safety measures not followed.

                      1.Hardly a person could walk in the passage meant for walking.
                      2.No curtains to cover the windows. 3.Pillows stuck to the bed as hard as stone.
                      4. No TV or video
                      5. Not even a bottle of water was provided

                      This kind of an experience for a A/C sleeper bus last trip with SRM. With so many players in competition providing very good service, for the name service standards are very low.

                        I was 10 minutes (6.30pm) late to bus stand. Got a call from a staff [protected] and he promised he'll wait since i was very nearer to the transport. After 5 minutes i reached the place and i was shuttled here and there for 15 minutes. I called the number again he didn't pick up the call. No one was in enquiry counter. When i asked drivers there they asked me to check in ticket counter, he again asked me to go near gate and find the person who called me. I went near gate and asked the drivers there and they again asked me to see person who is in office. Two men inside the office with a cool reply said bus left. I said i was shuttled inside bus stand for 15 minutes and the person who called me didn't pick up my call. Only because he promised he'll wait i was confident enough that the bus would be in premises. They both started laughing without any response. I asked for seat availability in other bus. They checked and asked me pay again. Same time some other staff entered the office and they both started talking with him and left me alone. With the embarrassed moment i left the place and reached home. Meanwhile i updated my parents and my husband about the happening. My dad called srm transport and explained the situation and the office staff promised a seat at 9.45pm and asked us to pay half the amount. So again after an hour i went to srm transport office. Those two men in office started teasing me when i explained the situation. They mocked at me and said they have no necessity to give ticket to me. All men inside office started laughing. I was really embarrassed. I came out with tears and called my parents and husband and asked them not to compel me to go again to srm transport office and went back home. The office staffs are not ready to understand customers or keep up the promise they make and. They doesn't even know how to behave to a solo women traveller. They made me travel two times to and fro from my house with their fake promise. Finally i left all last buses in all transports and now at home without attending an important occasion in my family. I will definitely file a complaint about this safeless company.

                          I have booked ticket no. Tmbf69298085, pnr no. Rbae74a7d from muthupettai to chennai on 23.10.2018 through redbus online bocking. The boarding time was 8.30 pm. I reached the boarding point by 8.00 pm the boarding point contact person told me that the bus cancelled and passenger was informed. I have not received any sms or whatsup information. I was trying to contact the operator number, it always busy. It was bad experience. At that time. Tell me the way to get refund.

                            20-10-18 today i am traveling to tirunelveli but last seat not comfortable.

                            Resorn bus driver seat in last end seat.

                            Seat no 45, 46, 47, 48 we can't able to sit in seat i think i am traveling in local bus totally upset.

                            4th time i am traveling in srm travels bus every time i am sitting in front but 1st time i am booked last seat hear after i don't try to book in last end seat...

                            Kindly arrange to sleeping seat for bus driver in front it good for srm travel passenger..

                              The bus came late by 30 minutes. It's usual said the attender.

                              Bus reached trichy at 5 am on 6.10.18. The driver said the bus will breakdown soon. Good to another non ac dirty private bus for completion of journey from trichy to pudukottai.

                              All passengers were shifted. The operator of private bus confided that it's their regular arrangement.

                              We were picked up late, we were shifted to very low quality bus. No compensation made.

                                Booked ladies ticket from chennai to chidambaram, near to chidambaram around 7.30 pm lady passenger ask to get down at bypass road, by time in chidambaram does not have auto service in outer area, how can she reach chidambaram town - if you have procedure like this you would have inform at time of book the ticket so that we do alternative. I am not expecting srm do like this

                                  I have booked in scania 2pm bus from madurai to chennai on11.09.2018, but for some reasons they forced me to travel by 1.30pm scania which came late @2.05pm. Later i found out that 2pm bus didnt enter madurai at all and passed directly in bye-pass road. So many times i traveled in srm, but always these drivers talk very ill about srm company and their salary etc etc. Which is not pleasing to the customers. Every time bus reaches the destination, its always very late by 2 hrs due to the lethargy of the drivers, they simply stop & waste time some low class restaurants and drive in a very less speed when the road is clear & empty. After nearing chennai and especially porur toll plaza again we are wasting 2 hrs in the heavy traffic. At that time your drivers are very rude / harsh to the fellow vehicles as well as to the passengers. Plz dont kill our time & money.

                                    This is with respect to my previous complaint ID 2050205 dated[protected].

                                    Till today there is no response from customer service. They are not at all picked up the phones, if am trying both mobile and land line.
                                    I sent few SMS to the same number...no response.

                                    Please reply.. I was highly disturbed mentally.

                                    I was travel in the same bus by taking ticket in person with amount of RS 1100!!!

                                    While online booking 1 hr before'through SRM website on the same bus the amount debited was 945!!! Only.but not ticket confirmed.

                                    Please remit the amount RS 945 as early as possible . Already 6 days gone.

                                    Worst travel experience ever, i ve booked srm multi axcel sleeper ( mercedez benz) chennai to tenkasi, but they provided me a worst ac bus which does'nt even hav charge point, i ve reported to arrive on 6 am but the bus delayed for 2 hours and finally i reached my destination on 8 am

                                      I am using my debitby using debitcard to book the ticket
                                      Amount RS 945 was debited, but ticket not confirmed.
