    My house was vacant from Aug 2018 to Apr 2019. Meter stopped reading at this period. Tenant occupied house on 7th May 2019. after 20 days EB bill was generated as Rs4057. Though a complaint was raised in Tangedco portal with complaint id [protected] date:11/06/2019 00:06:00 there was no action taken and complaint got closed. I had paid the bill amount Rs4057 on 12/06/2019(due date is 17/06/2019).
    After 2 years, now in May 2021 with bill date 19/03/2021 and due date 05/05/2021 we have been billed Rs14308 as CC arrears stating the reason as non payment of bills from Aug 2018 to Apr 2019 apart from current consumption bill Rs.3958.

    When we raised this complaint at eb office they are asking us to pay bill otherwise power fuse will be taken.

    Please revert this 14k bill.In this lockdown we are highly suffering financially.

      We're facing power cut often in kumaran nagar seelanaickenpatti area. Especially late nights 10 to 2 o'clock . Today power cut happened by 10. 30 and still it's not restored. It's really difficult aged persons, patients and kids are struggling to sleeping. Kindly take necessary action.

        We are facing huge voltage fluctuations problem all the time which the voltage is reducing below 100 kW also due to this issue all our expensive electrical appliances is getting damaged offently

            We're facing power cut often in Thiruverkadu - Rajarajeshwari nagar area. Especially between 10 to 4 and late nights. Today power cut happened by 12 and still it's not restored. It's really difficult to do work from home and kids are struggling to attend classes. Kindly take necessary action.

                Sir,

                I am a tenant at No 8/4, A4, Green Mothers Villa Appartments, Mani Street, Peerkankaranai-New Perungalathur. I am a customer who did not made any delay in EB pay for any previous month.Currently from month of January 2021 i am not at the residence as i am at my native place.My past billing cycle the amount is zero .The billing cycle starts from 20th of every month.For the current month i.e June the meter reading has not done.Without any meter reading the consumption is charged as rs 3641.I have called Perungalathur Eb and tried reaching multiple customer care numbers but didnt get a response.Kindly help me as this bill seems to be wrongly generated.

                  Ny name is Piyush, I use to stay in Vimalachal Apartment but from Jan 2021 i shifted to Alwarpet. My flat is not been used by anyone since last 5 months. When i checked my bill amount for the unoccupied flat it mentions Rs. 8182 for 1470 units consumed. This is impossible as no one has entered in the flat since last 5 months how can the reading state that 1470 units have been consumed. The reading taken for 01.02.2021 dated, as per the earlier record, is Rs. 155 for 190 units consumed. How can the reading jump from 190 units to 1470 units when the flat is still not occupied.

                    Due to this pandemic as per government rule we should pay the last paid eb bill amount as same for this month but in our region the eb officer asks our peoples to pay the most highest bill amount paid during the past year and uploaded that amount in our cards without respecting gov orders and even without taking the watt reading as per used by our peoples.

                      Hi Sir/Mam,

                      I have raised complaints multiple times in the TNEB portal to change the meter reading for the May month billing cycle. I even called and messaged AE multiple times the details, but the data is not yet corrected. My billing deadline is 16-Jun.

                      They have billed the same amount as 2019 May month bill, but during that time the house was locked and the bill was Rs.0, now previous tenant has used more than 400 units (April-May) and we have occupied this house by mid of May. If this month bill is not updated, we will have to pay the amount next month for more than 800-900 units including the units which are not billed this month, which will be of heavy burden to us in this COVID time.

                      Please update the meter reading for[protected] as below.

                      Total Units Consumed: 426

                          For past 1.6 yrs due to covid am at my home town leaving the tenant house. Till last month there were no units being charged . But this month I have been charged with 700 unit, without even going to Chennai . Now as am in my hometown in another state can't physically present to complain in EB office.                             I will open my office weekly once just for cleaning purpose and my electricity bill is very high for 1 and half years
                            I Dono how it is possible
                            Even this month my electricity bill is very high
                            I came to E.B office to check with the R.s department (the person incharge of billing)
                            He told to take a pic of my meter reading showed in the meter through my phone and to show him
                            So I went through the procedure he told
                            After showing my reading to him
                            He reduced my EB bill, I Dono how without even taking reading they can a send a bill value which is thrice a higher amount for the past 1 and half years
                            Even my March month bill is rs 1963
                            Please take action
                            And return my money back

                              I have been charged bill of Rs. 2990 for last month in my bill.
                              Whereas an amount of Rs. 4830 has been included in the bill as arrears for md shortfall and a total of nearing 7820 has been charged.
                              Since we have been affected by covid and hospitalised we had delayed in shifting the commercial distribution to domestic which has caused rise in md.
                              Please consider the complaint and reduce the bill amount by cancellation of excess charges

                                We have billed RS.920 as previous assessment amount billed on 05 June 2021. But the previous assessment amount is RS.680 only.(8feb2021-5Apr 2021 )This amount is the bill amount for 5/4/2019 . We don't know how it is supposed to take the bill amount of year 2019 rather than PMC.
                                kindly revert the bill amount to previous billing cycle which is Rs.680.

                                  We have received a bill amount of Rs.2242/- mentioning that the previous assessment amount was taken for generating this bill.
                                  However, the bill amount for the same period (05/04/2020 to 08/06/2020) in 2020 is only Rs.1550/-. Not sure how this amount is arrived.

                                  Also, we were away for most of the time for the past 2 months and have started utilizing power supply only from this week onwards. Hence, the bill amount should be less than Rs.200/- only.

                                  Requesting you to take fresh readings and regenerate the bill please.

                                        I am 82 years old. My house is door locked. No body lived in my house past from Jan.1, 2020 onwards. Electricity Supply also not coming. past 1 year i am paying electricity charges 240 for every month. This month suddenly bill is Rs. 1448 and consumed unit is 200 in the bill. this reading is manipulated by system due to covid 19.

                                        My house rented by Tamil Nadu Government Library for the past 40 years, Jnauary 2020 vacated by them. I went to Valangaiman EB office 2 time requested by written for EB tariff change from business tariff to Residential tariff, but so for no remedy. Due to my age and health condition, i am unable to frequently visit EB office. Even though 2 times directly visited and submitted request but no response. Due to my health condition i am staying my relative house. please help to resolve my issues.
