I am a TATASKY subscriber, my TATASKY ID IS -[protected].
Since April 18th 2016 I have been able to view only a few channel, When complained a technician did something, I was charged 200 Rs. But the problem continued.After a few months there was a complete blackout.I complained on the 11 th of July, A mechanic turned up the third day and said my set Top box has packed up.I was given another "repaired" set top box and charged 900 Rs for it & was told that the warranty was for a month only, The set Top box was installed on 15th July 8.30-9.00 PM.Within 20 min I realised that my problem still persisted, my viewing was restricted to very few channels, I called the installer & he said he will come and attend to it, but he never turned up.We also attributed poor channel reception to the fact that this was the rainy season and TATASKY reception is always disrupted during the rains.Poor channel reception still continued even during clear skies so I called up the helpline as the warranty period would have lapsed, and my nightmare started.Inspite of telling that this was and old complaint that wasn't attended I was rudely told that I had to pay 200Rs.as visiting charges, for which I flatly refused as this was my complaint since months and I had already paid 200Rs for work not done and 900 Rs. for the repaired, old set top box, Which wasnt working anyway.Since the 11th of August I have made at least 50 or 60 calls to the helpline where people do not understand my problem and are are routinely parroting their standard lines, My complaint is put on hold and not attended for days and after a few days I receive the msg that it has been closed.The follow up calls are always disconnected routinely and they dont even listen to what I am saying.The service people come after 2 or three days and tell me that somebody senior will come, who never turns up.I am registering a complaint after every 4 days.
Ihave paid an annual subscription which expires on 22nd October 2016 Of the 12 months that I paid for theres no service rendered to me for the last two months.
The TATASKY personnel do not want to address my problem as they are either not competent or cannot make extra money out of me.
My complaint of faulty box, and partial reception of channels should be attended to and I should be credited with extra months of subscription as they have not provided me service for a long time.
Tata Sky customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Updated by saklanis Though my complaint has been unresolved TATASKY has deducted more than a thousand from my account .The helpline is full of idiots who dont understand and are completely useless.
