Dear Sir,

My subscriber ID is[protected]

In last 12 months I have paid at least 6 payments for technician visits. Still my TV had no signal during most of the subscription period.

Last time just 2 weeks back I called technician, he came and went away without fixing the problem. Still my subscriber balance was deducted from account. I recharge the account using credit card, and in the current month's credit card statement there are two monthly payments to Tata Sky.

Tomorrow is my Onam festival. We the entire family have holiday and here in Delhi we have nothing to do but to watch TV. Now I am out of that facility despite multiple charging in last 20 days.

New antenna was fixed 3 months back only, but the guy fixed it on loose cement pushing screw in old hole. I asked to fix it but he asked for more payment.

In last one year I had to go through lot of hardships due to very bad handling of your service dealer and their unscrupulous service boys. For not giving service during validity period I abandoned the service for some time. Later when I called them for connection the mike like equipment receiving signal from antenna and its clamp were missing. The technician told me I have to change antenna itself, else the old type clamp and mike are not in supply. He also told me if I pay Rs.300 he will bring the old equipment and clamp from elsewhere who have abandoned Tata Sky service. Now I understood how my receiver was missing.

Again after about 1 month of not having service, I ordered new antenna & paid for visit also. He in my absence pushed the screw in to old hole which was broken and left it loose. After some time it tilted may be by bird sitting on it. This time also I paid to fix it but he stuck it with hammer and did not fix.

Yesterday I contacted the customer care & They told me I have to pay again for technician visit/fixing antenna.

I have to say it is clear snatching of money without giving satisfactory service.

I am trying to communicate with you my grievance and get the matter settled before tomorrow. Hope you will interfere and immediately handle the matter failing which I have to look for forums to get my consumer complaint redressed.

    I don't know Wether my problem with tata sky will be adhered somewhere or not..but trying is my right. ...I made a complaint on
    25th August for my tata sky box receiving no signals via complaint no. R4160W9. Technician came and replace our box with a repaired box next day and for this tata sky charged me rs. 200 for technician visit and rs. 600 for repaired box with only one month guarantee.
    On 26th Aug I again made a complaint for the box being faulty as it kept on switch on and off all by itself at least 8-9 times .vide complaint no. R4N9GY4. After technician visit my box was again changed on 28th or 29th aug. Till the time we hardly watched TV due to set top box malfunctioning. ..
    On 30th August I again complained for the box as it was not receiving audio...vide complaint no. R807IBB..This time I tried to contact someone at managerial level but was not able to as customer care executive was not able to pass my call to higher desk due to their buziness...and I was assured a call back...
    Adding to my worst condition I didn't got any call back till date...
    On 2nd sept I again made a complaint vide complaint no. RAE1SEL..by 9 pm approx.that day I was made to talk someone called floor incharge at the toll free no. I called up...
    Again adding a little more to my apthy my complaint no. Was cancelled same night within 1 and a half hour...without any resolution. ...
    Being patient customer I again called up on 7th sept to lodge another complaint no...REQOZOA and was able to talk to Mr. Rajiv Dwarka new Delhi head for complaints. He assured me of a defiinate solutions ..but on 8th September I received 3 calls from TataSky office and all were forcing me to let my call get cancelled. ..when I resisted they told me that my call will be put on hold. ...I agreed but comically I got a msg that my complaint got cancelled. ...
    If TataSky people have to cancel customer call on their own then what's the fun of calling customer. ...
    Again I called up Mr. Rajiv and I forced them to forward my complaint on higher level and get me a new box as all the repaired boxes were giving problems...I was and am ready to pay for new box...but there is no policy that I could get a new box...
    He again assured me for a resolution. ..and a call back by himself...but I got no reply for 2 days...
    I again called up Mr. Rajiv but to my suprise he didn't even remember my case...I once again told him my case and he assured me of call back in few minutes. ...I think u people better understand now...I waited for call...long long long...
    I again called up Mr Rajiv on Sunday and we came on a mutual decision that he ll send me a repaired box but of good condition ...With due respect he asked me if I can wait till Monday i. E. . 12th September ..I agreed...
    To day I tried calling Mr Rajiv. ...but my call was not picked. ...again I tried ...His phone is going unreachable...now Pl. Can anybody help me where should I go for this irresponsible beheviour of company and its officials...

    I’d suggest you to provide your subscriber ID here so that they can get in touch with you. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I too made the complaint here and tata sky immediately responded to it. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. They resolved my issue by activating my account and providing for the days I was unable to view television. I am sure they will look into your matter and resolve your issue.

      My old package is Rs.204 package is runing and I have change my package is Dhoom Rs.199 change on dated 12/09/2016, I could not interested to Dhoom package I have interested to my old package is Rs.204 package, So please start my Old package because I have already paid in old package charges too, and start my old package immediately.I have always appreciated your guidance.

        I am subscriber of Tata sky for almost 9 years now. but, in all this years I have not such BS problems. I am facing problems for last two years due to sub standard hardware used by Tata sky. first I had to upgrade my digimon box, since their services were not compatible with old box. then I faced problems with dish. which had to be replaced. Now, within One year of dish installation I have problems again. I have put in a service complaint regarding non receipt of channels due to technical fault. I have been told again and again by customer care executives that I have to pay charges for engineer's visit @ Rs. 200/-, because my box is not in warranty.
        If I am customer for 9 years and still Ife to pay for everything, then what is the point of being loyal to the company? After many arguments, the customer care executive informed me that visit charges will not be applicable. But again, the very next day, the charges have been levied. And customer care executives are now firm on levied charges.
        My point is
        1) a customer is paying monthly rentals for services for display of channels and if he or she doesn't receive the same, then is it fault of customer or Tata sky? Where does warranty of set up box come in picture? What's the logic?
        2) a customer is using Tata sky services for almost 9 years, is he not facilitated with 1 or 2 service calls?
        3) are we supposed to pay for technically inferior quality of hardware used by Tata sky?

        Hi,

        You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will arrange for a callback and assist you accordingly. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and provide an amicable resolution.

          First recharge done on 11th Aug, 2016 of Rs 270 which mean to active for 1 month i.e 11th Sep.2016, but deactivated before estimated time. Then we again recharged on 31st Aug of Rs 270 and it again deactivated on 12th Sep.2016.It has clearly mentioned in their site that recharge is valid for one month.

          We have talked to their executive for deactivating those channels on the very same day which is 11 Aug 2016, which we don't want. But they didn't deactivated those channels and even they haven't informed us.

          So when I call today to customer care they start counting the channels we never activated. Now they are saying that it took 3 days to resolve which mean I am not able to watch TV for 3 days for which I have already paid. Within a month I have done two recharges.

          One more thing they sending me mail of due amount Rs 655. I don't know where does it come from.

          These people are making fool to customer. I want my money back today otherwise i will file a complaint against your company.

          Please take strict action against this company and activate my DTH with remaining balance.

            I am in USA since 1-4-2016 and will be back on 19th to my residence. i tried to recharge through my debit card but otp I can not get because my regd mobile phone is not in operation in USA.
            kindly advise. pl note that I am interested in continuing my tatasky connection.

            I am in USA for the past 5 months-since 1-4-2016. I had informed Tatasky about
            this. i am not in a position to recharge thr credit or debit card due to my regd phone no is not valid in USA and so I am not getting 6digit otp. I will return to my residence no 19th/20th sept16. Pl contact me so that I can recharge by cheque or card. pl confirm or suggest any other option

              I am a TATASKY subscriber, my TATASKY ID IS -[protected].
              Since April 18th 2016 I have been able to view only a few channel, When complained a technician did something, I was charged 200 Rs. But the problem continued.After a few months there was a complete blackout.I complained on the 11 th of July, A mechanic turned up the third day and said my set Top box has packed up.I was given another "repaired" set top box and charged 900 Rs for it & was told that the warranty was for a month only, The set Top box was installed on 15th July 8.30-9.00 PM.Within 20 min I realised that my problem still persisted, my viewing was restricted to very few channels, I called the installer & he said he will come and attend to it, but he never turned up.We also attributed poor channel reception to the fact that this was the rainy season and TATASKY reception is always disrupted during the rains.Poor channel reception still continued even during clear skies so I called up the helpline as the warranty period would have lapsed, and my nightmare started.Inspite of telling that this was and old complaint that wasn't attended I was rudely told that I had to pay 200Rs.as visiting charges, for which I flatly refused as this was my complaint since months and I had already paid 200Rs for work not done and 900 Rs. for the repaired, old set top box, Which wasnt working anyway.Since the 11th of August I have made at least 50 or 60 calls to the helpline where people do not understand my problem and are are routinely parroting their standard lines, My complaint is put on hold and not attended for days and after a few days I receive the msg that it has been closed.The follow up calls are always disconnected routinely and they dont even listen to what I am saying.The service people come after 2 or three days and tell me that somebody senior will come, who never turns up.I am registering a complaint after every 4 days.
              Ihave paid an annual subscription which expires on 22nd October 2016 Of the 12 months that I paid for theres no service rendered to me for the last two months.
              The TATASKY personnel do not want to address my problem as they are either not competent or cannot make extra money out of me.
              My complaint of faulty box, and partial reception of channels should be attended to and I should be credited with extra months of subscription as they have not provided me service for a long time.

              Though my complaint has been unresolved TATASKY has deducted more than a thousand from my account .The helpline is full of idiots who dont understand and are completely useless.

                I'm impressed from TATA SKY HD
                Because it never stops anytime in rain also it sound quality picture quality I like it but a problem is there happening from last Friday
                channel SAB HD problems the voice cannot cleared means the voice came in cut to cut
                Sir please resolve it fast
                I loved Tata sky HD therefore I request to solve this problem short.

                    On 02.09.2010 my complaint was attended and (cut in wire was repaired) my experience was sought for WO RAK9HHN. Actually, on that day your technician demanded Rs. 100/- as bribe from me. Since my connection was within validity, I refused to pay without receipt. He threatened me that either pay me 100/- or you have to pay 300/- Though cut wire was repaired on that day and display was OK but the experience was not upto expectation.

                    On 07.09.2016 I shocked to receive the new message of Rs. 300/- charges for re-location and ID is deactivated. Whereas there was neither any request from me for change in location nor such instance happened. You may verify the same by deputing other technician. No change in Dish location/ address.

                    Therefore, my connection be activated and to refund the deducted amount of Rs. 300/-. Please confirm on my mobile No. [protected]

                        I enjoyed 'Once-a-year subscription Holiday Offer' which is for two months for June and July 2016. On 1st August 2016, I received a text message from Tata Sky reading as under: 'your Tata Sky services will resume from today. I returned to India on 6 September, but DTH transmission was not on. I had to send at least 4 emails. A female employee of company called me around 11am on 7 Sept. I reminded her of their SMS of 1st August and activate the service. Instead she forced me for a visit by their technician for a charge of Rs. 200. One Pintoo came on 7 Sept at 1:55pm, made me send two SMSs since there was no fault at my end. I told him the whole story and asked him to get the transmission activated. He called up Tata Sky and the transmission was activated. Now FOR THEIR OWN FAULT, TATA SKY IS CHARGING 200 RUPEES. On 8 September I called [protected] and lodged complaint to waive the charges as it was their fault. She registered it under RF 968T2.

                            Since morning ie.10.9.16 after switching on the tv the signal/transmission goes off within minute with a message on screen 'mode not supported". On conctacting over helpline i was suggested some steps (Which i did) but the problem remains. Then i was suggested engr. Visit for which i was asked to pay rs.200 which, in my vies, is wrong as the stp recently installed by the co. As per their policy, r not of good quality (As told by the co. Personnel doing the job).
                            Now i am asked to pay for no fault of mine. Moreover the person talking on helpline was rude/irritated without any provaction.

                            I request you to kindly look into the matter and get the problem redressed
                            Without putting any financial burden on me.

                              I have been Using Tata Sky services since 2 to 3 years and i was very much satisfied but since last 2 months i am facing problems with some of the channels though we receive more then 100 channels we are used to watch not more than 10 channels but, when you can watch 4 channels and you face problems with other 4 channels you will get dissatisfied with the services, and when i had called customer care support they told me that it may be due to fault in set top box, i am not a technical guy but if there is problem with box then all the channels are suppose to get in mess, but that's not the thing and i was asked to pay Rs. 200 for a technical guy to visit my place, so i asked for a favor, that i will also call a guy and if both the guys agrees that it's box fault i will pay, but what if not? in that case will company bare the cost for the guy i have called?
                              when i have paid for the services it's company's responsibility to make sure that am i getting satisfied with services or not?
                              and why did i have to talk to 3 officials at customer care support that to with dissatisfaction, and at the end without any conclusion they just cut the call.

                                  My tatasky Id no is [protected], I conducted 3 ( 2500 + 2500 +7500) transactions on the 7/9/106 at 12:40 AM to re-charge my account for purchaing the annual pack, through my Pay Zapp Account as per there Scan code and process mentioned on the TV screen .I Saw in the morning no recharge did not reflect, i called up the Customer care who told me that someone from backend team will call me, However the services will not be de-ativated .

                                  Since then i have called 15-20 times to the say they have not received the payment however the HDFC payzapp team says they have paid Tata sky Vide transaction ID No. MVISA[protected]NJ6.

                                  HDFC has debited the amount of 12500 from my account but not reflecting in the account .
                                  Tatasky do not acknowledge the recipt of payment and have de-activated my services even after confirming me that the same will not be done till the complaint is resolved .

                                  This is quite rediculous i do not expect this kind of services from A reputed co
                                  Like tata .

                                  Requesting speedy resolution on this .

                                    I have made double payment during renewal of my six month package. payment details of double transaction is as below

                                    Made two complains on call center with no revert.

                                    Please refund the money ASAP.

                                    I am getting rain effect to my normal Channels for last fortnight. Even thou there is no rain or storm. I missed many programs on national channels.

                                      I have relocated and sent request for
                                      installation of dish. I am not getting response since last fifteen days. This is the worst service I have ever got. I will not recommend anybody to buy tata sky. Two times I have called customer care for the same but I am not getting my dish installed. They make commitment of giving response within four hours but no reply came even after four days.

                                      You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will arrange for a callback and assist you accordingly. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and expedite installation at your new location.

                                        I just had conversations with one of the Tata sky associates he is just very bad very unprofessional and it's my second time to talk with the Tata sky DTH customer support associates his behavior and solving the queries so badly even they started scolding me and bheave weirdly when I started questioning twice.After the so long expandable argument he didn't even sorry then I cut the call.
                                        My Intention to highlight this fact and Requesting to the higher authorities to took some initiative efforts to solve this problem and ensure do not face this problem forecasting.
