    Date of incident: from nov 1, 2017.

    I had subscribed and paid the 6 month subscription fee in october 2017 and was supposed to receive the newspaper from nov 1, 2017. It has been 9 days and still they have not delivered newspaper. I have called the customer care and informed them every day regarding this and i have emailed customer care on nov 8th. My complaint was supposed to be prioritized and executive supposed to call me. There is no action taken whatsoever. Complaint no: a098534

    Desirable resolution: either deliver the newspaper asap or refund me the amount of rs 899.

    I have problem in getting the magazine from day one. After multiple follow ups I got it for three weeks and i stopped receiving after that.

      On 4th october i put up a request with the hindu customer care to change the delivery location of the newspaper as i had shifted to a new location.

      Since then i have personally called them more than 20 times for the same and they seemed to have closed my complaint over and above. I gave them the option of refunding my money back. But still no action from their end.
      The Hindu customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
      My Subscriber No [protected]. I paid Rs.999/ as annula subsription via chq no 509757 on PNB PUDHUR BRANCH AMBATTUR. Creidited to kasturi and sons on 31/10/2017. Kindly do the needful.

          We had subscribed to "the hindu" english newspaper on 28th september (Subscriber id: [protected]).
          The promised date of delivery was promised on 16th october. Till date, there has been not a single newspaper delivered to our office, though the amount has been paid in advance.
          The customer care of this newspaper is rarely responding, especially through emails, and the telephone operator just gives false assurances about the escalation of the complaint, which has already been registered over three times, with reference number: a090435.
          Till date, not a single distributor of "the hindu" has contacted us about the distribution.
          The Hindu customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
          I have ordered through online for one year The Hindu in school weekend tabloid, but the paper has not received till date, please arrange to send weekly, i have paid the money at 13/10/17 and the reference order number is S20171013ESUB0061.I believe The Hindu will provide good service for us.

            It is disgusting that such a reputed group is indulging in fraudulent practices by not supplying the paper even after full subscription amount is received, either there is an issue with the vendor or with the mis management group of people who are involved, have been complaining over phone from october 25th till date the query is not resolved, for namesake one gentleman from hindu group has supplied paper on 30th october and after that the same has been stopped
            What happen to the loss of paper for 42 days, is hindu group is going to pay the amount with penal interest

              On 21st october 2017, i receive a call from hindu office about my subscription renewal, and a link has been sent to my mail id - [protected]@gmail.com.
              I had activated the link and renewed my subscription amount of rs.1664/- through icici net banking on[protected].

              But today on i received an sms from hindu tirunelveli that my expiry will be on 15.11.2017 and the amount is rs.1279/-

              As i have already paid an amount of rs.1664/-, kindly refund the extra amount please

He is giving false promises that I will receive it the next day. But next day never comes. Hence I'm reporting to the complaint board and hope early action is taken.

                I am a resident of cpwd complex, domlur, bangalore (Qtr no. B/157). Though my news paper subscription is upto december 2017, for the last one week i am not receiving the paper. When i contacted the earlier vendor (Mr. Praveen), he informed that long back he has transferred the vending to a new person. I anticipate an early response and redressal of my grievances.

                My subscription started in September 1 2017 and I still don't receive my paper. Today is 23 October 2017. I made nearly 10 to 11 complaints to customer service and they never made any effort to solve it.
                It's loss of time and money for me.

                  Subscriber id : [protected]. I paid the annual subscription amount of rs 899.00 online on 18th september, as my previous annual subscription of the hindu newspaper was 20.10.2017. But from 21st on wards the delivery of paper was stopped and when i contacted the agent, he said that your subscription ended and you have to renew.

                        My hindu subcription id no. Is [protected]. Hindu ref id: w2016021esub0052. My son has subscribed the hindu english daily news paper through online vide his mobile no.[protected] for a period of one year from november 2016 to 31st october 2017. For some time we have received papers daily through local agent. The delivery address is: k. Thiraviam, 5/266, 5th street, k. R. Colony, tenkasi-627811, tirunelveli dist. From last may 2017 onwards paper is delivered erratically leaving many days unsupplied.
                        The details are as under: may 2017 (14th & 21st), june - (11th, 18th & 4th (3 days), july (5 days-8th, 22nd, 24th, 30th & 31st), august (16 days — 1st to 5th, 7th to 8th, 13th to 17th, 20th to 22nd, 27th & 28th), sept. (10 days — 1st to 5th, 19th to 21st, 29th & 30th) and for october (12 days — 1st to 12th). I have not received the papers on all the above days. I made several complaints over phone to customer care services and the regional marketing manager at tirunelveli, but in vain. The agent man says that as for as the paper meant to be supplied to me is a free issue and hence as and when received only he can supply.

                        Kindly arrange suitable compensation for the above non-supply.

                            Hi team,

                            I have renewed my yearly subscription of the hindu for the amount of rs. 1200 through citrus pay (The link which i got from the hindu notification message) for this year in 30th september 2017 and i received a message states 'thank you for subscribing to the hindu' but still now i couldn't get the newspapers for any of the days till now.
                            I have called the customer care service today and the call got disconnected while asking for the details.
                            We are in our 3rd year of continuous subscription and we have been facing the issue of not getting the newspapers. This is totally unfair. Please take the necessary action.

                              I have newly subscribed to hindu tamil daily news paper door delivery. My subscription starts from 11th sept 2017. I have not received any news paper nor i have received any call from hindu regarding my subscription. I never expected this from hindu. I am disappointed to say the least. I tried calling the customer care, but they cut the call within 5 second's. This totally irresponsible behaviour from hindu.

                                I'm not receiving hindu newspaper regularly or only in a intermittent days or one day after the other, by the agent, mr. Ramasamy whose phone number is [protected]... Kindly change my agent or the point of delivery... Or i'm pleased with a agent named mr. Praveen who is undertaking kandanchavadi point of delivery

                                  Hi sir,
                                  I am residing at alwarthirunagar. I had subscribed for both tamil and english hindu papers. Almost its a routine that i miss reading tamil hindu as the agency boy tells me that the paper as all been sold we haven't got the paper. I almost know that all these are very silly reasons.
                                  If we have been subscribed i ought to receive it, but it's been a week since i'm receiving only english and no tamil hindu.
                                  Please look into this matter and take necessary action the agency dealer name is nagaraj.
                                  If this is the case why would i want to waste my money for paper which i'm not getting.

                                    I had given my cheque number 4434286 for rs.899/- [date i am not sure] drawn on vijaya bank, malleshwaram branch being the annual subscription for 1.10.2017 to 30.09.2017 about 20 days back,

                                    I had requested the branch to transfer an amount of rs.50000.00 from another account to the account, on which i had issued the cheque. But the branch did not act upon the instruction. Meanwhile, the credit card bill was debited to my account, and the cheque issued for annual subscription was dishonoured.

                                    I had received a message from the bank to this effect. Immediately, i had contacted your chennai office and had apprised the position. I had also requested your customer care division at[protected]. Meanwhile, i had also tried to contact the news paper agent, but could not get him.

                                    I request you to re-present the cheque immediately, as my banker has carried out the instruction. I regret for the inconvenience and request that extra charges, if any, may be collected from me.

                                      This is sreenivasulu a, the hindu initial subscription no. S[protected]. I renewed my subscription by paying rs.999 on[protected] vide subscription no.[protected]. I cancelled subscription due to bad service and requested for refund. I mailed to the customer care, they says we forwarded to higher authority, forwarded to finance section and giving some reference number, but till date i didn't receive refund. News paper also stopped giving from 01 sep 2017 on wards. I am calling daily customer care they simply passing time and telling stories. Manager customer care also replied that the reference no. A078616 will be resolved shortly, but till now it is not solved.

                                      Escalate this issue to higher authority and get my refund immediately.

                                      No body called from Hindu. Still I didn't get my refund back. when I call customer care, they simply says that, your complaint forwarded, it will be solved within 2 days. 50 days passed still no action been taken.
                                      No progress on my complaint
                                      There is no action on my refund. whenever I call customer care they simply say that within 2 days /week, your problem will be solved. Till now there is no action on this. From finance some executive spoke to me a week back he says that refund will be done before 10th Nov 2017, if not call to customer care. 10th Nov 2017 also crossed. I called yesterday customer care they said that today it will be done. Nothing has happened till now. since 75 days neither i am getting refund nor newspaper. how long it will take to refund my money. Every time I send a mail, i get an automated message, later no action. your are simply wasting my time as well as your time. refund immediately and solve the issue.
                                      GENTLE REMINDER

                                      No progress on my complaint
                                      Inspite of repeated calls, mails, still my subscription amount not refunded. I am neither getting paper nor refund. Hindu personal are cheating. Now 5th month is running. please escalate and do the refund immediatly.
