Sir, i have complained customer care vide a046141 today. Why it is happening regularly. I feel regret that i have taken wrong decision by taking annual subscription. Your vendor keshov telling that agency has not issued your subscription paper that's why we have not included your name in the distribution list. On 2nd july if it happening, full year is left now. How can i faithful to your agency. I have ranged three to four times to customer care and the vendor also, i could not get news paper today. Sunday has gone fully disappointed and i keep myself in embracing situation. I have waited and waited... Sir i request you that please do the needful, so it won't be happened again & i will be thankful to you.

I have subscribed to the Hindu news paper for six months. Today is first day to receive the paper. But I have not received the paper
Tried to contact hindu., But I did not get any response.
Please anyone can provide steps to unsubscribe and refund back money. As I searched in internet. But did not find any resource on how to unsubscribe the hindu

I have been using The Hindu newspaper for the last 26 years. For the past 2 years I have been using yearly subscription. Since the last 3 months the newspaper has been irregular. This month I received it only 6 days, last month it was only for 12 days and previous to that month no newspaper at all. When approached the delivery guy, he says his manager Kumar asked him not to put any paper to our house until we show him the proof. I provided him the proof of my yearly subscription paid through cheque from Hdfc bank. Then he gave the newspaper only for 3 days and again the same continues. I am providing the phone number of both. Delivery boy name is Prabhakar, [protected] and Kumar, [protected]. Please take a strict action against Mr. Kumar. If not taken I will have to approach the consumer court myself directly. Hope after this complaint, I will be receiving The Hindu regularly. Thank you.

Dear sir/madam,

I am mohanan from kannur district in kerala. I subscribed 'the hindu inschool' today at rs. 3870/-. My e-mail id was '[protected]@gmail.com'
Actually it was a mistake from my side. The rate for 1yr subscription was given as 60 in one column and usd in the next column and i thought it as a subsidized rate for students as rupees 60. So i want to unsubscribe it and get my payment back. I tried to get the customer care many times at [protected] to lodge a complaint. But nobody attended the call.

Pl. Cal me at [protected] for more details. (It would be more convenient to communicate in malayalam as malayalam is my mother tongue.)

These msg received from your side but the paper not issuing past 3 days, i am asked the distributer and paper boy - no response how could i continue the subscription pls take immediate action and to issue the paper till 15/07/17.

I paid one year the hindu subscription. I have been receiving it regularly till 22 may 2017. Afterwards no paper delivered. Called the hindu customer care and received ref no a034895. Always customer care team says that it will be directed to respective team. Till today, no one called and addressed my concern. Newspaper also not delivered.

Being reputed company, i did not expect this type of service.

I was a regular subscriber of hindu. My previous annual subscription ended on may 15th 2017. I got a call for renewal which I opted. My address got changed from the previous place. One person came and collected the cheque for 899 rupees. They initially told the subscription will start on 21st. But they didn't provide the paper. Then on contacting they told the subscription starts on June 1st. But till today i didn't receive the paper. That person who kept in calling me for money is not picking up my phone now. I am a new subscriber to the hindu in chennai. The delivery started on 1st june. Today morning i found that i have received the tamil edition of the hindu instead of the english edition that i have subscribed to. I called the number i have with me for the news agent (Valli news agency) and found no response. I called the customer care number. It probably does not work on holidays or after hours but does not tell so. Instead, it went into a loop asking me to dial zero, etc. These are my complaints based on this incident:

1. Delivery of wrong edition
2. No mechanism for immediate redressal. The customer care phone software is unaware of the timings when cc is operational.
3. I had been asked to select the news agency while subscribing online and inserted the name i received from a neighbour. The hindu has not informed me formally who my agent is and his/her contact details.
4. The hindu has not provided any information on how i should get redressal in such circumstances.

Non receipt of cupon for the hindu paper subscribed vide payment of rs.1667/- paid vide cheque no.560049 dated 30/11/2016 collected by your representative. Further my business line subscription is geting over on 31/05/2017 subscriber no. Is [protected]. I had called up mumbai office about 10 days back and told them about non receipt of hindu coupon and about renewal of bl. I was told not to renew online, the payment for bl will be collected by the area rep and also my coupon for the hindu is with him and the same will be given by him. Till today there is no action. I have renewed my subscription for The Hindu newspaper in November 2016 and is valid till November 2017. I'm getting news paper irregularly with 3 to 4 days gap until last to last week and nothing for the entire last week. When asked the delivery boy he said my subscription is expired.

Inspite of showning the mail received from Hindu where payment and renewal information is available as attached, he is not heeding and asked me to give complaint.

I had availed newspaper facility for the following region:

The vendor Ram Pawar has been illegally charging money besides the amount paid in the subscription no. [protected].

Since I refused to pay the amount, the paper is not being delivered to me.

The Hindu had registered the complain but has not been responding to my mails.

I am archana, currently located at raja annamalai puram, chennai - 600028.

I am being delivered the hindu by a local agency "bharath news mart, new no.125, old no. 88, k. G street, r a puram, chennai - 600028.

I have been over charged ranging from rs.20 to rs.30 every month. When i ask for reasons, they are threatening to stop delivering the hindu newspaper to my home. For april 2017 i was charged rs. 195.

Kindly look into it and do the needful.

The young world delivery notified to start from 28 apr 2017 with subscriber id [protected] has not yet started for the following address; mahika and mayanka sarma raghunathan, b47, b12 building, near jalvihar guest house, iit powaii, mumbai 400088. We had subscribed on april 18, 2017 and got notification e mail confirming it. We had meant it to be started as a birthday gift and it is disappointing that it is getting delayed. Hope this matter will be looked into and rectified as soon as possible.

My subscription was to start from 1st may 2016 but started only form 31st may. There has been confirmation from the hindu circulation to increase the subscription end date from 30th april 2017 to 30th may 2017
Despite this, i have many reminders for april 30th closing of the subscription. Had sent a mail to mr ramesh, circulation head (?) on april 17th 2017. There has been no response as yet
Need confirmation for extension and then i can renew from 31st may 2017

I was expecting it from last week that my hindu news paper would come & i'll read it.. But its too disappointing when your expectations gets hurts. Just conform me would you be able to send it or not? If not then i would take it directly from the newspaper's shop. Then my expectations also won't get hurt. Please try to do something because i am getting un patient every morning i get dissappointed.. Please send me the date on which you superior people are going to send my the hindu newspaper. Kindly see against it & try to understand.

Here I am at Darbhanga in Bihar. The Hindu is lagging behind from other newspapers. I get other newspapers on the same day but in 'The Hindu' case I receive the newspaper of back date. I talked to vendor to resolve the issue but he said he is unable to deliver it on time bcoz he himself also getting it late. It's disappointed in the era to get newspaper of backdated.
