I was expecting it from last week that my hindu news paper would come & i'll read it.. But its too disappointing when your expectations gets hurts. Just conform me would you be able to send it or not? If not then i would take it directly from the newspaper's shop. Then my expectations also won't get hurt. Please try to do something because i am getting un patient every morning i get dissappointed.. Please send me the date on which you superior people are going to send my the hindu newspaper. Kindly see against it & try to understand.

    Here I am at Darbhanga in Bihar. The Hindu is lagging behind from other newspapers. I get other newspapers on the same day but in 'The Hindu' case I receive the newspaper of back date. I talked to vendor to resolve the issue but he said he is unable to deliver it on time bcoz he himself also getting it late. It's disappointed in the era to get newspaper of backdated.

      I was ordered "Velaiyai Kaadhali" Tamil book through online on 16.03.2017. I paid Rs.195.00 through online. Till now I didn't received my order. In between of this period, I contact The Hindu Customer care, They registered my complaint. But nothing happened. 3 times written mail to them, I didn't got any updation.

      Here I attached my payment snapshot. I need some help in this.

        I have subscribed to "the hindu"online for the period ending[protected]. My subscription no is [protected]. The vendor who supplies the paper informs me that he has received information that the subscription has closed by[protected]. I have sent mail to the payment dept who has sent receipt in 2016 specifying the period as closing on[protected]. There has been no response from "[protected]@thehindu.co.in". Would like to renew subscription for further period, but before that this issue has to be resolved. Please do the needful.

                I am the customer of THE HINDU TAMIL from beginning. But I didn’t get any news regarding renewal of the paper. So that I went to the office and renewed my newspaper ( Tamil ) with MR.AGASI for Rs. 1672 at 14/03/2017 (receipt no. CSALE[protected]) . Is the amount which I paid is correct or not ? Also I didn't receive the newspaper yet. When I asked for newspaper in the office they demand me to get English newspaper instead of tamil and also I don’t know to read English. I don’t know why your service is very poor. And in office they said there is some offers for some newspapers TAMIL. Is there any offers for newspaper ?. Already my address is wrong in your office as 47/26/2 THILAIGI NATESAN THERU NO 4, AMMAPET, SALEM, -636003. Correct it with my home address. I have said to your office staff to change that properly but he didn’t. but I don’t know he changed it or not. i am totally disappointed with your service.

                  Can you please look into this and either get my copies delivered of please cancel my subscription and refund accordingly.

                  The experience thus far has been extremely disappointing as I keep on chasing after my copies of FrontLine and, let alone receiving them "on time" - I rarely receive any at all.

                  An early resolution would be much appreciated

                    Annual Subscription of Rs.999/- paid by me on 23.11.2016 towards supply of "Tamil Hindu". They didn't keep their promise of supplying newspaper from 01.12.2016.
                    I wrote several emails to Tamil Hindu. For each of my email Tamil Hindu office, promptly acknowledge my complaint and over phone they assure me that the issue will be resolved soon. But nothing happens after that.
                    Fed up with their sterio type of phone reply /email reply I requested them on February 2, 2017 to refund the subscription amount paid me immediately(as they failed to supply newspaper). For this also they promised me that refund will be made soon. But nothing happened so far.

                    I recorded my total displeasure on the attitude of Tamil Hindu Office in keeping my money with them for more than four months.

                    Few emails with their reply are furnished below for reference.

                    More than Three months over. Still you are not able to return the subscription amount paid by me. I wonder how a leading tamil daily treats a senior citizen of this country in such a callous manner.

                      I have subscribed hindu tamil and english newspaper from 22 september 2016 to 2017. This is the second year i am continuously subscribing your newspaper. But this year from the beginning itself there was a problem in getting paper. So many days i have missed the paper. I have several times complaint about this. Then i was getting the paper regularly for sometime. Again from 25 march 2017 they have totally stopped the supplying of paper, i have made several complaint about this. But surprisingly till today no action is taken. I have raised a lot of complaints by calling the customer care and also spoke to the agent. Thanking you.

                        I am nazeer ke, residing at kaval byra sandra, rt nagar post, bangalore, is a subscriber for hindu news paper for past 4 yrs. During july 21st 2016 our agent has approached us with a 1 yr scheme for rs. 499/- & believing him we have given the cheque and subscribed for 1 yr subscription with rs. 499/- cheque n0: 655710, dtd[protected], karnataka bank, amount rs. 499/-

                        We were subscribed throug the following news paper agency, but from 1st apr 2017 onward he has stopped supply of news paper, as he says he cannot supply the same. He is actually misbehaving with us, as his intention is to get additional money from us for further subscription. He says he was asked to stop supply from the hindu office, as he cannot supply paper to us.

                          I have subscribed Hindu Tamil newspaper from March 2016 to 2017. This is the third year I am continuously subscribing your Newspaper. But this year from the beginning itself there was a problem in getting paper. So many days I have missed the paper. I have several times complaint about this.                             I subscribed for the hindu tamil edition and received the newspaper for one year. When i renewed it, i paid the subscription amount to the person who came to the door step, i paid the cheque for renewal and signed the filled up form. However i did not notice that the selection was done for english edition. But i continued to get tamil edition for the last 2 months since last renewal. But suddenly this is stopped and started getting english edition.
                            My complaint over phone and through mail did not yield positive result. I request that this is addressed immediately and i start getting the tamil edition for which i am eligible.

                              Dear Sir,
                              I have subscribed for The Hindu (English) News Paper for 6 months. The subscription period being 1.3.17 to 31.8.17. The news paper was not received for the first 3 days (1.3.17 to 3.3.17). After lot of follow ups, finally the paper was being delivered. But again, yesterday (24.3.17) the newspaper was not received. A complaint was registered yesterday (Ref No - A014490). Today also the newspaper has not been received. The call center is refusing to provide any contact numbers to escalate the issue. Out of 25 days, newspaper has not been received for 5 days. It is surprising to note that such a prestigious newspaper is having such useless and irresponsible circulation department.
                              I would like to cancel this subscription and get refund of the money paid.

                                Hi,

                                I have paid for a whole year subscription of 'the Hindu' daily by paying the amount online. My subscriber id is [protected] (Hindu reference id : w20160223esub0049). The subscription started from March 10th on wards. Since then, I was not getting the 'the Hindu' newspaper regularly. There was frequent missing of the newspaper. More than 70 dailies I did not receive till July 2016. I raised so many complaints and finally they agreed to have a solution for this.

                                Later, they had changed the vendor and informed me that I will be getting an extension of 2 months on the current subscription. Since then (July 2016), I was getting the daily regularly without any issue. But the earlier subscription ended on 28th Feb 2017 and there was no extension of 2 months. I contacted them again and it seems they are unaware of the promise given. My earlier subscription started 10 days after the due date (10th March 2016) and there were frequent misses. Still they ended the subscription without any type of compensation which they have promised.

                                Again customer care complaint has been taken with reference no. A007869, but no updates so far. I would request you take a swift action on this.

                                    My name is Vineeth.P.V, I am living in Vittalavaadi [(Kundapura) Udupi district Karnataka]. I am buying The Hindu News Paper Since Last 3 months, every month end the agent bring the bill and I have some doubts about that, this time I called them and ask about the difference in bill, then they are saying the are taking service charge for delivering the news paper. Last Month the give me a bill amount of 220 Rs, but when I calculated I got an amount 202 . May 18 Rs is not a big amount for you but cheating people like this not a good this for an established company especially that company belongs to media segment.
                                    I would like to know this service charge they were taking is with the knowledge of yours or illegally, If its illegally am going to file a case a against the agent B. ASHOK SHENOY [mob: [protected]].
                                    If they are taking the service charge with your permission then no issues, I don't want your news paper from today onward.

                                      After I have taken the Annual Subcription for The Hindu I have been facing a lot of problems.
                                      In a week atleast two days I don't get the newspaper and now it has been 2 weeks since I last read the newspaper. I have not got it.
                                      I have called the contact person (named: Prem Kumar) and he keeps telling me to forward him an SMS. I have done that already but there has been no response.
                                      I called him up today to enquire and he again asks me to send him an SMS. I informed him about complaining and he asked me to willingly do so.
                                      This is pathetic customer service given I have paid you in advance for the newspapers. I am pretty sure of not renewing my annual subscription going forward.

                                        I have subscribed for frontline magazine on 27/01/2017(paid Rs. 690), but till today not a single issue is delivered. I have checked with the postman, nothing was received as per him.

                                        It is subscribed on my name ASHOK SOMA. I have paid through credit card after scanning the QR Code in the newspaper advertisement. Please look into the issue or arrange for refund.
