sir,
i purchased "OEM replacement for Micromax A110, 3.7 volt, 3000mah battery" from tradus.com.
on receipt of battery i found that the battery was for some other model (A116) and when checked from market it was also found that it was a duplicate battery (bearing same serial number as other batteries available in market, photograph attached)
when i contacted tradus.com, they said that the item can be sent back to the vendor at my cost and they can give me the gift vouchers for maximum of Rs.200/-that means i have to pay Rs.200 for a refund of Rs. 290/- and that too in terms of gift vouchers.
the wrong battery supplied didn't only let me feel embarrassed among my family and friends, i was also made to face embarrassment among my colleagues as due to mobile phone switched off i didn't get important messages from my office.
when contacted over phone, tradus.com's rep simply said that we can't do anything, while purchasing you ccepted all tems and conditions of the company.
here, i wish to ask the company that are they authorised to sell duplicate items under the name "OEM replacement" and they can only return hard earned money of customers in terms of gift vouchers that means they have to buy other products from company.
