I booked a Deluxe Room at the Hotel Hawaii Resorts in Goa for December (20-26th December, 2014) through Travelguru. One Mr. Varun Bharadwaj (Travelguru Team member) did the booking on 5th October. My Booking ID isTGUA[protected]. On 13.10.14, I called up Mr. Bharadwaj to request for a preponement of my booking (early check-in) as I was scheduled to arrive a few hours early. I was assured by him that he would call me up to confirm details. He didnot contact me. On 14.10.14 I called up the Travelguru desk at the hotel to be told by Ms. Anuradha that My booking was from 20th and due to heavy rush, early check in would not be possible. She asked me to call up the hotel reception and gave a number [protected]/93. When I called up, I was informed to my utter shock that I had no reservations at the hotel. When I called up Mr. Bharadwaj again, he gave me a Complaint ID No. 02456635 and asked me tocall [protected]. Since then I have called up every alternate day to be assured that I would be "contacted within 24 hours". Till date (26.10.14) I have received no communication from Travelguru. Each time I call up, I expalin patiently, only to be cheated with false assurances. I have a conference on the said dates at the Goa International Centre and I had chosen the hotel as it was nearby. I have booked flight tickets for Goa and my spouse and I are totally harassed and furious at the casual and callous response of your workers. At this juncture I am ready to sue you at the Consumers Court. I have paid a hefty sum of Rs. 27000 and spent a hefty sum on plane tickets. I want to know when you are going to resolve this issue. I was told I would be given a room in a "same star hotel in the same area" but with no confirmation from your end and in view of the fact that the earlier Invoice is of no use, what guarantee is there that wont be taken for a ride again? I have lost faith in you. I want an immediate reply and not some system generated stupid response that doesnot have customized answers to my queries.     I did booking for Bella Heights in Dharamshala. Gave the complete payment on 4th September, 2014. I need to travel on 2nd October, 2014 and now Travelguru called me and said that Hotel is not available. I paid advance to Palampur Hotel and also to Taxi. Compensate my damages please. They spoilt my whole trip...I need immediate resolution of my issue. Hotel : Bella Heights, MCLEODGANJ, India Booking ID. TGUA[protected]. Now She is saying no property is available and giving us [censored] options in lousy hotels..I need you to compensate looses that I incurred. Options given are very bad.

      I have cancelled one hotel room for Mysore on 5th August 14. Cancellation ID is TGU[protected].Refund amount is 6761.55 Inspite of repeated requests over phone Travelguru are not refunding the amount. Every time when I telephoned they talk for a few seconds and then recorded music starts. Always they are telling that the refund has been given to my bank account. But till today(19.8.14) no refund has been received as I have come to know updating my pass book. I want my refund immediately. I am in urgent need of money.

        I had booked a room in Vanshri Motel in Chiplun on 12/06/2014 through Travelguru. My Booking ID - TGU[protected].
        I made full payment of Rs.903 for the room with my creditcard. A voucher was mailed to me confirming my booking. The voucher had the address of the hotel but no phone number. I searched the web and found the phone number of the hotel. I rang up the hotel to confirm my booking. The Hotel told me they didnot have any booking on my name.Moreover they told me that they do not do any business with Travelguru.
        I rang up Travelguru helpline and asked them to refund my money. My complaint number is 2244175 They said they will get back to me in a day or two. Till date they have not got back to me nor have they refunded my money.It is nearly impossible to get their phone line.Travelguru should stop cheating people and refund my money immediatly.

          Booking ID. TGU[protected] Booking ID. TGU[protected] Went for vacations with my family and booked a hotel through travelguru.com, I was given 100% guarantee on the hotel. Hotel was a 3 star and the condition of the hotel was pathetic When I went to check-in at the hotel, it was in the worst of its conditions. Me, being an outsider to Shimla, went in with the ratings and reviews provided on travelguru site and trusting it, but the hotel was no where even close to what was mentioned on travelguru.com. The hotel room was filthy with dirty linens and carpets and stinky stuff. Besides it was full of insects, garbage on the floors, feathers were out of the bedding. To top all this the hotel staff was not at all cordial, when we checked for this, all they said was this is how we will find status of all the rooms. I called travelguru customer representative from the hotel itself, and they said they would check as to what they can do. I did not even check-in at the hotel. Since, I went with my family, the only way out I could see was to leave the hotel and look for other option which was being looked up by travelguru customer care representative. There onwards, I made several calls to travelguru customer care hoping they would provide us with some solution. Apparently, travelguru customer care representative believed the hotel guys and did not trust us. I already told the customer care representative about to cancel the booking or adjust the amount in some other hotel. Neither the amount was refunded nor adjusted. The customer care representative(Prashant/Vinayak) told that they will help us regarding this. But, no help came and we had to return back to Chandigarh. I expected that what has been shown on the website I will get the same since travelguru is quite trusted brand. But, travelguru could not help and had to return back since I was with females and children, could not compromise security in an unknown city at night. Now, travelguru says we cannot refund the amount as hotel is not giving them, travelguru is a thief, they take the advance and do not provide what they show on their website and then deny to refund.             Sir,
            I had book a room in hotel Shanti Residency, Patna through travel guru site on 15/06/2014 for 1day, for check in Mon 16/06/2014, when i reached the hotel at 5.45 am I found shutter of the hotel was closed I have ringed the phone[protected] many times but no body opened the door, I wait up to 6 am and I could try to help no. of travel guru but I have not gotten any response .I suffered very much in the morning .then I had took another hotel.

              I am dr.abhishek bharadwaj...contact numb [protected]...i booked one hotel naming le gourmet residency in shimla fr date 9th june 2014 on 8th june...i paid d amount fr delux room...coz it was near mall road where i had a conference meeting.they sent d voucher on my mail id in which booking was confirmed...d next day wen i started fr shimla i called d hotel dat my booking is confirmed they replied no its not...where travel guru people shud hav informed but they didnt.n wen i called travel guru number they gave me d booking 18 kms away from mall road in a jungle n lied that d hotel is just 2 kms away which i got to knw wen i reached there...i cudnt attend my meeting because i got lost searching that hotel..hotel name is hotel himgiri..and d person who did d booking his name is deepak nair n my booking id for hotel le gourmet is TGUA[protected]...they gave me d booking in hotel himgiri which is in mashobra jungle not even a single shop is there to purchase anything.i want this deepak nair to be fired out who is so irresponsible due to his behaviour of not attending my calls and giving me booking which was of no use.i want my money back 8000 rupees which i spent in my fuel my rent n pathetic food n place.

                  I booked a hotel at Tirupathi for May 9th through Travelguru.com based on their recommendation. Booking ID:TGUA[protected]. Ms.Aabya recommended the hotel Sri Sai Krishna Residency. The pictures shown in the website is a complete false, thus cheating and luring customers. Worst ever, infact its not a hotel. Locating this hotel was a nightmare, its in the "gullies" and very difficult to maneuver in the car. The so called room is a 8x8 room which was stinking when we arrived. We had booked a suite AC room for a family of 4 adults and a 6 year old child. TravelGuru agent Aabya told us that the room would comfortably fit in our requirements.Never again will I visit travelguru.com for recommending this so-called "hotel". I want my money refunded.

                    I was trying to book Hotel Byke Heritage on 09.04.2014 from your web-site travelguru.com. I first attempted with my ICICI bank account through net banking payment mode. This booking failed with error from travel guru website after payment. So amount 16913 was deducted from my ICICI bank account but Booking was not done, I raised the complain next day and got request number 01949075. I received the refund for this net Banking failed transaction. But as I did not realize that amount is charged on my bank account, I attempted booking with my ICICI credit card on 09.04.20014. Here also my credit card was charged with amount 16913.40 but booking was not done. For this too I raised a complaint request # 01949072. So far I have not received this refund, and whenever I ask for refund status or screen-shot I am being shared net banking refund details and not the credit card one. I request you to look into this matter urgently as refund for my credit card failed transaction is still pending with TravelGuru against complaint #01949072.

                      yesterday night, 24/5/2014, i was booking a hotel in SRINAGAR from this web site, i opted for net banking for booking but due to some reasons booking was not done but my money was deducted.. The amount of money deducted was Rs 1686.00 from KOTAK-MAHINDRA BANK A/C number [protected].. The booking was made on behalf of Prabodh Nagar.. Again I opted to book same hotel but for 2 days and this time is choose debit card to pay but this time also same problem happened and a amount of Rs 2778.00 and this booking was made on behalf of ISHAN NAGAR.. the last four digits of card number used are 6843. kindly look into it and refund my money as soon as possible...

                        I booked a hotel room with travelguru website for a hotel in chennai. The room was booked in The Hotel Retreat in Camp Road, Chennai. During the booking, i asked them to book a standard room and the price offered to me was INR 2476 inclusive of all taxes and breakfast as a complementary service. However, after booking, the room booked became a compact room. When i asked questioned them, they are now disagreeing. Please resolve invoice ID : TGU[protected]

                          The site took my booking for a hotel while the hotel had informed them well in advance that there was no inventory available. based on this hotel availability, i went on to make other bookings as it was pivotal to this availability that i planned my entire holiday. however i subsequently called up the hotel only to realise the facts. the website had cheated me to the extent that if i reached teh city without this chance communication with the hotel before, i would have been stranded or lodged in some terrible location. upon realisation i cancelled my entire trip and that cost me cancellation charges for the entire trip. The websitte must compensate me for the extreme greiviance caused due to this.

                          Despite repeated follow up with the company all they have done is refunded the amount charged for a booking which was in any case not available. The hotel confirmed in writing that the Travel Agent had been informed 1 week before that no rooms were available for my date. the travel agent also admits this cheating on their end however choose to ruin my holiday and now there is no response from them on the related matter other than "we have refunded the paid amount".

                            I had booked two rooms in Spring Dale Resort, Munnar (Booking ID TGU[protected]) on 18th April for check-in on 1st May and check-out on 7th May. However when I called the hotel on the 21st, the hotel said that they have not received any booking from Travelguru and that all rooms have been sold out. On calling your customer care, I was told there was a problem and that the hotel has asked 48 hours of time. I called again on Wednesday, 23rd and was told you need time till 2pm Thursday. Then on Thursday I was asked for some more time - till 2pm on Friday - saying that if by that deadline Spring Dale did not confirm the booking, you would arrange for an alternate or refund me the money. By Friday 2pm, no one called so I called at 3pm and was again asked for time till 6pm. There was no call again so I called at 8pm and was sent a mail saying that I would get a call from a manager at 10am today. Again there was no call. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE HAS BEEN NO CALL OR EMAIL WHATSOEVER FROM YOUR END. ALL THE EMAILS I HAVE RECEIVED FROM WERE SENT WHEN I CALLED CUSTOMER CARE AND ASKED FOR IT EXPLICITLY WHILE I HELD THE CALL. I HAVE MADE AT LEAST 10 CALLS TO YOUR CUSTOMER CARE OF 30 MINS DURATION EACH AT THE LEAST.

                              Dear Team, Kindly note that the refund amount of approx rs 10000 has been lying with you since 26th March now. I had booked 3 rooms in "U Tropicana" hotel, Alibaug for 2 nights (27-29mar) and have done an NEFT transfer of Rs 30159 on 26Mar from IDBI bank ac[protected]. Booking ID. TGUA[protected] However since only 2 rooms were finally booked the total bill was around Rs 19800. Hence the balance was to be refunded. Any reason why the amount has not yet been transferred in spite of providing the bank details for NEFT. I have spoken to abhaya on 27Mar and abhinav on 11/12 apr and they both have promised me that the amount will be transferred in 3 working days. Abhaya had done the booking and promised on 27th that the balance of Rs 10000 would be refunded but she did not initiate the request. Abhinav had also promised a callback to confirm the transfer and also a manager Meenakshi from finance dept was expected to call and resolve the complaint. None of this has been done.                                 Hi, I Pramod P Ananth, made a booking for one of the home stay's in coorg, madekeri, karnataka. I used the site Travel guru to make my reservation. I made the booking of the cottage and the same was confirmed to me online that booking is confirmed. The amount charged was 13.500 for 3 nights. On 16th APr 2014, when i happened to call the hotel 'Gowri Nivas', i was shocked to hear that my bookings were not confirmed. No one till that time from Travel guru had even called and informed that the bookings were on hold and neither was there any alternative suggested. It was my anniversary for which the bookings had been made and the bookings were not confirmed inspite of travel guru providing me with a confirmation mail and invoice of the bookings. When i called travel guru on the 16th Apr to ask them what the reason was, there was no proper response and my call was attended by various people on call but without a resolution. I can name a few of them Nilofer, Roshini Joshi, Abhinav, Rohit and then the manager handling escalations. But all were indifferent to my situation and after calling travel guru on an STD line for almost 10 times and speaking to 10 different people, i forced them to provide me an alternative. The alternative that they provided on 16th Apr afternoon was a shady hotel in Kushalnagar, where as the one that i had booked was in coorg. My complaint is - A fraud has been committed by Travel guru and my money was kept with them for around 20 days. ( 3rd Apr to 16 Apr 2014). I asked them for the interest to be paid, but this was strictly denied by them, - Why did travel guru not inform the customer once the hotel person had confirmed that the bookings were full. Why did i have to call up the hotel to find out that my bookings were not confirmed. - As due to the pathetic and indifferent attitude of Travel guru people, my whole anniversary plans had to be cancelled. Who will pay the cost for this personal loss. The following are the details of this case. Hotel booked by me : Gowri Nivas, Coorg Dates : 17th Apr to 20th Apr 2014. Amount paid to Travel guru : DVTG/2014-15/00202988 Invoice Amount : 13347 ( Rupees Thirteen thousand three hundred and forty seven only) Paid on date : 3rd Apr 2014.                                   I have booked tickets for Pondicherry for 2 nights, on there website they clearly mention zero cancellation charges, and when I cancelled 14 days before journey they charged 1450 out of 3000, never go for this website When I called customer care they saying that we mentioned that on confirmation email, yes they confirmed that but after taking payment My suggestion, spend little bit more and live tension free life

                                    I'm Priyanka Gupta from Mumbai. I have booked a 2Nights/3Days accommodation for Byke Hotel in Matheran, Maharashtra from 15/03/2014 to 17/03/14. The booking was made on 11/03/2014 from Travel Guru online travel agents. We called them up and one of their executives Mr. Abhinav mathur has booked our tickets. We asked them twice that day as well, if they do really have the available room in BYKE hotel in matheran and he mentioned us very clearly that as per their travel agency quota in that hotel they can provide us the booking. So we paid them complete booking money Rs 9947 on 11/03/14. After two days as well on 13th night we re-confirmed with travel guru about the booking, and they reconfirmed.On 14th luckily I called BYKE hotel and found out there is no booking on my name. So I went to byke's office and they have shown me the mail which they have already conveyed to travel guru on 11/03/14. But still these irresponsible crooks haven't informed me about it. On 14/03/14 when I called them for booking status they still said it's confirmed. How can some one be so fraud. When I told them about everything then they accepted and told me to wait for the solution. I waited for full one day with regular calls to them but they stopped taking my calls, even their customer care does not respond and specially Mr. Abhinav mathur. He should be immediately fired. So there is no one I can call and I don't even know what to do as I know there is no hotel booking and I have to leave on15/03/14. This was the worst behaviour and conduct we have ever received from any travel agency.They should rather close their company and sit at home if they cant take the responsibility of their bookings and moreover cant even keep their customers informed. Sheer I have ever faced.Big Big disappointment. I will surely sue them for the case of forgery and in consumer act. I will give it in all newspapers.

                                      I am frequent user of online travel websites.But as a bad luck once I choose travelguru.com. I wanted booking for daman. I choose hotel on travelguru and made my payment. Money debited but booking not done! I made 2nd effort, money debited, but result same. booking not done.
                                      Again I called on their customer care nomber [protected]. Their care executive Kanita Suri again checked availability, and send me by email details of travel guru account nomber, and asked to deposit money in their account. I immidiately transfered money to their account. After they sent me booking confirmation mail and sms. and also booking voucher with booking id TGUA[protected]. . and. and.
                                      the story doesn’t end here!

                                      After 2 days of booking suddenly I got mail from travelguru saying that your booking is not confirmed by hotel and we can arrange for u another hotel if you wish!=

                                      Total 3 times payment, debited my more than 25000 Rs. and still no booking confirmed.==

                                      The worst online travel website full of mal-service.

                                      Dont ever do any deal with them.

But system is asking "COMFIRMATION Number". I contacted Hotel, Panchasheela, they confirmed that room is is booked. How to cancel my bookings. Please advice. TravelGuru tells cancellation without Charge !!!. But I am unable to cancel my Hotel bookings through on-line. The Number [protected] is not useful because there is NO OPTION for Booking Cancellation. Kindly help me. So that I believe in Travel Guru and book my next hotel bookings.
