Respected Sir/Mam,

I Mukesh Chandra Srivastava account holder in (IDBI Bank) branch Vivek Vihar Delhi, account number [protected] debit cum ATM card no. [protected].

I used dated (02 March, 2010 02:pm) Union bank Atm machine in Sitapur (U.P)

I gave the command for Rs. 500/- & found Machine was in process finally I received a debit receipt for the same amount without money transaction, immediately when I check in the slip it was found (UNABLE TO PROCESS NOW).

When I check my balance it was shockingly found the amount has been debited of Rs. 500/- form my account.

I request you to kindly credit of Rs. 500/- in my Account as mentioned above & obliged.

Balance Debited without Money
Respected Sir/Mam,

I am Mukesh kumar account holder in (union Bank of india) branch Razabazar Motihari East Champaran (BIHAR), account number [protected] & ATM card no. [protected].

I used dated (24 Novm, 2009 at 12:50pm) Union bank Atm machine at Razabazar Motihari East Champaran (BIHAR)

In my A/C there was 3600/- when I gave the command for Rs. 2500/- & found Machine was in process finally I received a debit receipt for the same amount without money transaction, The transaction no. was 5565
immediately when I check in the slip it was found (UNABLE TO PROCESS NOW).

When I check my balance it was shockingly found the amount has been debited of Rs. 2500/- form my account.
I have allready send a request with attachment on same day from Motihari Union Bank branch but till date there is no response.

I request you to kindly credit of Rs. 2500/- in my Account as mentioned above & obliged.

You can check your balance on the website through Internet Banking.

In case you do not yet have this facility, Union Bank of India has provided a Sel[censored]ser Creation facility on the

website. Please follow the instructions there.

One of the conditions is that you should have an ATM card linked to that account. In case you do not yet have this,

please apply at the branch directly.

You can also apply at the branch for SMS Banking or for Mobile Banking, to check your balance through the mobile

    Dear sir/Madam,

    Myself P.Sreenivas, is a SB a/c holder o[censored]nion bank of India, PESIT extn branch, Bangalore (Banashankari III stage)

    on 27/02/2010, I have withdrawn a money of 13,000 in parts, but currently from my account i came to know that amount withdrawn is 16000/

    This amount is withdrawn from State bank of Mysore, ATM, Gayathri nagar branch, Bangalore.

    1st I took 10000 rs i got successfully transaction done, then i have given 3000/- for withdrawal, but the machine told the transaction is unable to process and i tried once again from another machine in the same ATM and i got 3000 RS withdrawn successfully, but when i checked my balance it was showing me 10000+3000+3000 i.e. taken 3 times which i have not got, i got only 13000 out of that..

    i tried to contact toll free number of SBM but they suggested me to contact toll free number o[censored]nion Bank of India, which i am trying since 3 days but there was no response..

    Please help me in this matter

    This is Ankama rao.Puppala having account in M.V.P Colony, vizag Branch, my Ac no.[protected] when i withdraw money from ATM money i was not got money but second tranction it shows money already deducted from Ac. On 03/02/2010 at sai nag complex, near benz circle, vijayawada, Andhra pradesh, ATM Centre. so i submeted request regarding to this incident at corresponding ATM Bank through E-mail. on 22/02/2010 immediately i got mail within 1 week problem will slove, but still now i am not getting money pls needfull to me.

      Dear Sir,
      On 21/01/2010 at 5.45-6.00pm I tried to withdaraw Rs 2000/- from ATM located pratap vihar Ghaziabad, 3 to 4 times but transaction was unsuccessfull. Then I checked balance on screen that was Rs. 10,195.62 after that I tried to withdraw Rs. 2000.00 again but again unsuccess. Then I went to the PNB ATM located Pratap Vihar Ghaziabad and tried to withdrawl Rs. 2000.00, Rs.1500.00 & Rs. 1000.00 respectively but transaction was fail due to insufficient fund. Then I checked the balance and found Rs. 195.62. After that I went to the Union Bank Pratap Vihar Ghaziabad Branch at 6:10 pm on 21.01.2010 and complain for the same, but I did not got any proper response from them.
      Next day 22.01.2010 at 11:00am I gave a written application to the branch manager for this matter but on that days I visited the branch number of times but they again again saying They have made a complain to the head office but not got any proper response.

      So, please help me in the same matter ASAP.
      Otherwise I have to take a legal step.

        I'am a coustomer o[censored]nion Bank of india having account no.[protected].I have self created the login id on 09 feb 2010. and get the message that account will be active after 48 hours .but after 108 hours the account is not activated .I also call to helpline they tell me there is a technical problem .I advice them to take more time from coustomer .foractivation of there service.

          Sir,
          I WANT TO LAUNCH A COMPLAINT AGAINST UNION BANK.

          ON 27/1/2010 I GONE TO ATM MACHINE O[censored]NION BANK FOR BALANCE CHECK.
          ON 8.42PM , I CHECK MY BALANCE AND ON RECEIPT IT SHOWN Rs 397/-
          after seeing the balance . i almost got heart attack TYPE situation.

          then after 8.45 pm , i again check my balance and that time it shown me my original balance of Rs 138058.99/-

          SO. WAT TO DO NOW.

            once i tried to withdraw the money from BTM layout branch o[censored]nion bank of india,Transaction was done but money was taken by the atm machine immediately,But i asked bank people to credit my a/c with Rs 800,they told me that there is no such transaction done on that date.
            Today i withdrawal 5000.00 and my A/C in avail Balance is 10119.70 but my Avail balance is 4880.30.

                I am one of the candidates applied for ubi recruitment project 2009 for the post of officers.
                I got a email dated 7december 2009, sent at 7.25pm from one ubi personnel, asking me to report for interview latest by 12 December 2009 as per the interview venue displayed in their web site under the career page.
                As I have the habit of internet browsing atleast twice a day, i fortunately read this message around 10pm on 7 december 2009. As per their message, i referred the web page and found that my name was not in any of the lists(4list altogether in which 2 lists for selected candidates and 2 lists for interview short listed candidates).
                I immediately( around 1030pm on 7 December 2009, replied to the person informing him of my missing name in the list displayed in web site. The person replied me via his email dated 12 December 2009 sent at 145pm asking me to refer career page of the bank web site. I replied him again via email requesting his phone number and my interview place at 430pm on 12 December 2009. No reply from him till 730pm. I sent another mail around 8Pm requesting him to enlighten me what was the bottom line of these all. I have not got any reply so far.
                I so far come across only ubi, a govt establishment, informing of interview in barely 1 day time that too without informing the place of interview.
                I do not understand the issue. Whether anyone else faced similar situation please contact me via my email [protected]@yahoo.com

                  i have submitted requisition for cheque book in lajpat nagar branch on 7 Nov 2009 . My account no is [protected]. even before that i was without a cheque book as the account showed i had 16 leaves with me. records were very old .i am sure a cheque would be lying in some corner . the bank taff was good enough to clear the entry. when i am paying for cheque book ,why should the bank have problems .i do not bank will respond . today the motto is advertize heavily so that inefficiencies get covered/hdden.

                    Reg: Non receipt of cheque book on time.

                    This is an instiution (School), wherein we have day to day transcation. Cheque are to be issued to the party as and when the transaction is complete. Due to non receipt of the cheque book it makes us very difficult to do transaction with parties.

                    When approached to the branch (Boisar) which is in the vicinity, the express their inability to issue the cheque book because it is issued from HO. One we have received 04 cheque books by a request. But with the same request is not forwareded. Already submitted the cheque requisition form as when it was over.

                    Kindly look into the matter urgently and issue us minimum 05 cheque books for day to day transaction.

                          I Birendra Kumar went to HDFC ATM in Jaipuriya Plaza, Sec-26, Noida to withdraw Rs 4000 using my UBI ATM card A/C – [protected] on[protected] around 5 PM. No cash came out of the machine and also no transaction slip came out stating that the transaction failed. On the same day I came to know that Rs 4000 was deducted from my UBI account.

                          I Santosh saha went to PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK ATM in Nahera Branch, Sakri, dist :-Durbhanga, Bihar to withdraw Rs 10000/- using my UBI ATM card A/C – [protected] on[protected] around 9 AM. No cash came out of the machine and also no transaction slip came out stating that the transaction failed. On the same day I came to know that Rs 10000/- was deducted from my UBI account. I am immediately informed punjab National Bank but no body Response to me.
                          So Sir plz, help me. And u inform me which is the process of clime my money.
                          I sindhu S withdrawn 10000/- from my UBI A/C at SBT ATM on 3-03-10 slip came out stating that sorry transaction failed but from my A/C 10000/- Rs has been deducted please guide.

                              Hope you have submitted a copy of your ATM receipt along with a letter to your UBI branch manager, requesting him to upload the details to the Head Office.

                              UBI HO will contact HDFC HO and call for the refund, which will take place after verification by HDFCSBI.

                              As a precaution you can give a copy to the HDFC branch which controls the HDFC ATM

                                I AM A STUDENT OF MDI GURGAON (FIRST YEAR) CURRENTLY. AND TO FINANCE MY FEE, I TOOK A EDUCATION LOAN FROM UNION BANK (BRANCH: DHUMA, DISTRICT: SEONI, MP). FOR A LOAN OF 7.95 LAC. MY FATHER SUBMITTED COLLATERAL OF 26 LAC FOR THAT. BUT NOW THEY ARE ALSO DEMANDING MY PERSONAL LIFE INSURANCE, AND THAT TOO FROM UNION BANK ONLY.                                 The life insurance will be to cover the possibility of your untimely death.

                                Without the insurance: if you were to pass away before the loan was repaid [perhaps even before completion of the course] your father would not only lose your support but would also have to pay off the loan

                                WITH the insurance: if you were to pass away, at least your father would not have that additional burden since the remaining loan balance would be paid by the insurance company and your

                                So I would suggest everybody to take an insurance in such cases. The cost is minimal, the potential benefit absolutely desirable.

                                The cover will be a pure life cover, not investment oriented, and as such it will be as cheap as possible. In fact neither the insurance companies nor their agents make much money on these plans --- which is why they will NEVER try to hardsell them.

                                But that is the very reason such plans can be a good idea !!!

                                Which company you take it from will make little difference, and taking through the same bank may simply be easier and more convenient in the overall context.

                                So I would suggest just go ahead with their requirement, it is just a complete advantage for you

                                SBI is now forcing citizens who want to open a new savings account with their branch to take a life insurance scheme named "Swadhan" under SBI Life insurance for a minimum 10 yr. period.
                                I was denied a right to open account as I refused to oblige with their request of taking the insurance policy.

                                MUMBAI: Some former junior employees of Rolta India suddenly find themselves in a jam. Eighty five employees, whose services were terminated or

                                who ‘resigned’, are left with the burden of a bank loan. This loan was taken at the company’s behest to pay the enrolment fee for an in-house training programme.

                                Rolta India says that the services of 50 employees were terminated for non-performance while 35 employees resigned rather than having their services terminated. Some of the aggrieved former employees told ET that about 150 of them were without a job and struggling to repay the loan of Rs 2.5 lakh.

                                As part of its recruitment policy, Rolta India trains all new recruits for three months at Rolta Academy, a division within the company. Each recruit has to pay a ‘non-recourse security deposit’ of Rs 2.5 lakh. Rolta has a strategic arrangement with Union Bank of India to make the amount available as an educational loan.

                                The Rolta website says “selected candidates will be given an offer letter, which will be valid for a period of 15 days within which they can organise the deposit from the bank with the help of the company”. The bank disburses the loan directly to Rolta India by way of a pay order/demand draft.

                                Rolta would pay the interest on the loan, which also forms part of the employee’s monthly salary, and pay the principal amount to the bank in two instalments of Rs 1.25 lakh each, one after 39 months and the second, 12 months later. If the employee resigns during this period, the company is absolved from paying the loan.
                                Former employees, who spoke to ET on condition of anonymity, allege the company created conditions due to which they were forced to resign and there was no prior warning. Some were given as little as 10-14 days to leave the company after being employed for almost close to a year.
                                Many of these employees approached Union Bank with a request to reschedule the EMI.

                                In response to an email query by ET, senior officials of Rolta said, “the amount in question is not a fee, but a ‘refundable deposit’, to discourage the employee from using the academy as a training ground to merely increase his market value. On the contrary, he/she receives full salary and does not have to worry about repaying the loan and interest, if he/she intends to fulfil the employment obligations.”

                                However, the loan agreement with the bank stipulates that whenever a student/employee resigns from Rolta, the entire loan amount will become payable immediately and the bank will have the liberty to take appropriate recovery measures to recover the loan.
                                The agreement also categorically absolves the company from paying or remitting the monthly interest or further repayments to the bank. Significantly, the loan given at an annual 12.25%, attracts an additional interest of 2% over and above the stipulated interest rate in the event of a delay or default in payment. An e-mail sent to the bank remained unanswered till the time of going to press.

                                Interestingly, most frontline IT companies do not levy any fees for the inhouse training, but many companies do insist on a bond.

                                  I AWDESH RAJKUMAR MISHRA having account with union bank of india bearing acoount no-[protected]
                                  have given complain on toll free no [protected] on 13 aug 2009 and various times regarding
                                  a debit of RS 785 twice while paying restaurant bill, the restaurant owner did not recieve the amount but the amount got debited through my account ie Rs 1570 was less in my account.

                                  The customer executive gave my complain no as 54225 and 54226 on 13 aug and assured within 30 workind days this issue will get resolved.After 30 working days also it was not resolved,so on 23 sep 2009 i again gave complain bearing no-95446 and 95442. but no body is botherd about my complain.Around 10-15 times i called [protected] there were two supervisors named MEESAM AND VISHAL these people told me nothing is in their hand and when i asked VISHAL how much time this will take he told i dont know we cant assure and even this supervisor did not provide me any alternate number he told we dont know any number.

                                  IF my issue is not resolved till 10 oct 2009 then my next mail will go to consumer forum and RBI,because this is 2nd time iam facing the problem, even in the month of april 2009 RS 3100 was debited but i did not receive the money it took 2 months to resolve the issue.

                                  ITS only because i had faith in ur bank thats why i closed my account with icici n hdfc,but iam losing faith now. so plz help me n resolve my issue.

                                  I suggest you send this letter DIRECTLY to the Bank branch concerned
                                  i am using unionbank debit card in sbi atm and i got only my half side of the atm card and remaining back side it get blocked inside the atm machine my card number is [protected] validity 07/08 to 07/13 so kindly blocked my atm card

                                    Last yer in the month of April we have deposited a Demand Draft No. 030281, dtd. 26.03.2008 for Rs. 5000/- in Our Union Bank of India, Sulur Branch Account and get credited for the Amount. After Some days our Customer informed us that the Demand Draft was for Rs. 15000/- and by Mistakenly Written as Rs. 5000/- by The Bank peoples of State Bank of Travancore, Thiruvalla Branch. For that again we gone to our Branch and informed about this matter and after a veryfication of all the documents in Union Bank of India and State Bank of Travancore Coimbatore Branch we found that The Demand Draft was Written for Rs. 5000/- and Coded for Rs. 15000/-. In Between Our Customer also collected a letter from Their home Branch that the Amount collected for Demand Draft was Rs. 15000/-. After a Long time of Request The Branch Manager of State Bank of Travancore told us to Collect the Amount from Your Bank and Ask Union Bank to Write a letter officially for this regard, But Alrady One and Half Years past The Branch Manager o[censored]nion Bank of India is not taking any step to remit our Balance of Rs. 10000/- and if We will ask in this regards they are not showing any Seriousness. Simply they are trying to pushing it a side.

                                    Kindly Suggest us what to do for geting back of our Balance Rs. 10000/-

                                    I have to say that i wanted to open an account in BAHADURPUR HOUSING COLONY, IFSC CODE UBIN0554022.when I visited to branch i was torchered intensionally by CRO, then i met to branch manager, he himself also torchored me for my address proof.

                                    he said that why r u intrested to apoen an account in this branch??

                                    so i said that normally because my friend(ubi introducer) lives in bahadurpur housing colony.

                                    i can open an account anywhere in patna district.why not???????


                                    who is easy&near i will open anaccount.

                                    then he said that this address proof is not valid i have suspesion on this address so bring any letter on this address. when i visited to branch next day with the new proff of address(with refrence of old address)than now[protected]-------

                                        Hi Sir/Mam,

                                        I have been suffering from the customer service o[censored]BI for last two years. On 13th March, 09, I tried to withdraw money from HDFC bank's ATM and because of some technical problem the machine could not dispatched the money. I tried to make a call to the 24x7 call center service o[censored]BI and on some numbers like[protected] and[protected], nobody attends the call. I tried so many times and for so many days. They might be engaged in some other important work for what they have not been hired. And on another number which is[protected], they attend the call (after so many times u already tried and got the engage tone), but they don't have the time to even listen the customer. First person attends the call, refer it to operator and operator without asking anything forward the call to some senior person, who has the limited time to just say, "2043 per call karo", in a really very rude way.

                                        I hope the action will be taken and the customer would get some relief.

                                        i got fed up now with union bank, my atm got los t and today is sunday and this bank call center peoples is not responding no one is picking call wat to do

                                        I never seen this kind of very very bad customer service.This kind of service given UBI only well done UBI keep it up.You dont try to give better service ok
                                        all the best of all UBI staffs and management.
                                        I swear this is the worst bank I have ever seen.I was in UBI, Airoli branch yesterday.And I spent two hours waiting in que for my turn to come as they have only one single window for withdrawal and deposit.It was only before their closing time they decided to form another line seperately for customers who wanted to deposit below 10000/- .This is ridiculous! Till date I thought SBI was the worst bank because it is too crowded always but infact SBI is fast.They spend less than a minute on each customer unlike Union bank.
                                        I swear in the name of god that UNION BANK IS THE WORST EVER IN TERMS OF CALL CENTER OPERATIONS> My dad lost his card today and I am calling them for the fourth time at their 24x7 call center number [protected] The call just goes and is kept on waiting for eeons. Why do you folks even have a bank when you have such a pitiful service.
