SUB : ISSUE OF CSAT vs UPSC vs IAS ASPIRANTS .
Dear Sir,

Politicians in Western countries have changed with times . Instead of evasive politically coined answers on issues, they have started giving straight clear cut replies on issues concerning public . Indian politicians have however did not change track and still continuing to be diplomatic, depending on lies and jugglery of words .

Issue in question is CSAT vs UPSC vs IAS aspirants .Following was what was required to be conveyed to aspirants in clear terms ;

" Civil services exam is not an ordinary exam for recruiting clerks . It is an exam to select top administration of the country to man each arm of Governance, namely, coveted foreign services (IFS), IAS, IPS, IRS, Indian FOREST Service . The officers placed in these services manage the entire administrative apparatus of Govt . Selected officer is required to operate in all conditions, in all states, in all countries, in all departments, in all commissions which inter-alia means, person must be versatile . Person is supposed to be fluent in at least four languages ie English, Hindi, Indian regional language of the state to which he has opted and one foreign language . Person's rich or poor, urban or rural & tribal or city back ground hardly matters . Agitating students claiming right on the basis of Hindi or any regional language are misfit for the job . What justice, one can expect from aspirants who have started agitating even before entering the service . For example, think of a situation where a person who only knows Hindi or Tamil is placed in Maharashtra or in USA or UN missions abroad . How do you expect him to work and deliver on the job . Will Govt send an interpreter with him where ever he goes or posted ? English is widely spoken language world wide and its fluency is an essential part of central services . It is also naive to suggest that a village boy can not learn English as compared to an urban youth . It is a matter of achievement, zeal, will power to be something which drives a would be officer to learn many languages, history, sciences, social subjects, economy, politics etc . He should be thoroughly conversant with each topic . THEN ONLY HE IS FIT TO BE A CIVIL SERVANT . His village birth is of no consequence in selection to coveted CIVIL SERVICES . IF he is not of that metal, then, he should settle for something of lessor degree . Where there is will, there is way . Many past successful bureaucrats have been from village back ground ."

The above message should have been conveyed to CIVIL SERVICES aspirants crystal clear by UPSC, Ministers concerned & Party functionaries, which however unfortunately did not happen . HENCE THIS AGITATION . The agitations are created by political class by being evasive on issues of public importance . POLITICIANS do not take a clear cut stand for fear of being losing votes or for tending to look good in public eye against national interests .

SUB : TONING OF LOOSE ADMINISTRATION .
Dear Sir,

Under your very nose simple things like CSAT paper are being made big issues . A non issue is consuming so much media time for nothing.

1. Matter is as simple as that . If students are not comfortable with translation from English to HINDI, frame a separate set of paper in original HINDI or any other way/style as students demand . Does Govt fear that by framing a paper in Hindi, all Hindi speaking students will storm the UPSC exam ? After all, finally MERIT will prevail upon means adopted . Students are not going to mark their own paper and become IAS officers .Why so much fuss on the issue ?

2. Another point worth noting is " WHY COMMITTEES ON ALL these silly ISSUES and again deliberations on the committee reports . WHY WE PAY THESE HIGHLY QUALIFIED UPSC MEMBERS & OFFICIALS IF THEY CAN NOT FRAME A SIMPLE CLASS TEN PAPER . SACK THEM FORTHWITH ."

3. Last but not the least, what action against the Committee members who fail to give a decision on an extremely simple issue of framing a paper in 4 months ? Whatever payment has been made to them should be recovered with interest and they should be barred from any Govt assignment in future .

PLEASE REFLECT ON THESE ISSUES if you are really interested in toning down the administration .
