I am saurab singh jariyal. My roll no. Is 1308885. Sir i am very sure about the written exam which i have given on 9 september. I have passed the exam with good marks.
Sir when i saw the result today my roll no. Was not there. I was shocked to see that my roll no. Is not mentioned there.
Sir i request you to please look into this problem as soon as possible.
Please do the needful thing. I'll be thankful to you if you solve my query.

Sir my roll no is 0853530 and after give this examination i was check my marks with answer key then i got 398 marks and individually i got about 40 % marks in each subject and after check my score i was full of confidence but yesterday i was saw result and then i had not see my roll number in the result and since then i was very sad because i did not get recommended for ssb sir please recheck my oir sheet and give me right result and also said me about merit

Sir I was alloted (029)Jawahar Vidya Mandir, HSL Colony, Shyamali, P.O.Doranda, Ranchi-834002(sub-centre-'B') as my UPSC examination centre.When we were given the OMR sheet and the question paper there was a mismatch in their serial numbers. As we all know that the serial number in both the papers(question paper and OMR sheet) should match each other.My fellow candidates also raised this question but the school authorities said that it is the guidelines o[censored]PSC to distribute the answer sheet(OMR sheet) only to the students present for the examination. As a result there was a mismatch in the serial numbers. But some of my friends who appeared in different examination centres didn't faced this problem of mismatch as the OMR sheet was provided to each and every allotted seat irrespective of the fact whether the candidate was present or absent.I was expecting my roll number in preliminary examination selection list but I was not selected. It is a serious matter concerning my career. So I would request to conduct a detailed enquiry in this matter.Also I would like to mention that there is gap of approximately 500 students roll numbers either before or after my roll number. There might be a possibility that the whole lot is disapproved due to mismatch in the serial numbers. Expecting a positive response from your side as this is a serious matter regarding my career. Thank you.

Dear Sir

I appeared for the UPSC preliminary exam on 3rd June 2018 .
Wish to place on record of a very strange but disturbing situation I faced in the morning exam which caused a loss of about 15 minutes and my concentration .

the 1s hour of my exam i had devoted to solely reading the question paper and marking on he question paper answers i had known for sure or eliminating options so as to arrive at answers i wasn't a 100% sure of. I had made these markings with pencil. At the middle of the 2nd hour of the exam the invigilator came to my desk and told me that I was not allowed to mark with pencil on the question paper. I had only made either a tick or x on the options of the question sheet to review at end. The invigilator insisted that I erase the marking before I continue. Due to this I lost precious time and was able to complete answer of only 74 questions .

Apart from valuable time loss it caused my concentration and the ability to answer atleast another 10 -12 questions .

I was told that we are allowed to make markings on our question paper by my seniors who had given the exam in the past and I had also done in my previous attempt.

I would like your clarification on the stance as i don't believe any prudence candidate will have the aptitude to remember all the answers mentally, and strategy suggests we do atleast 2 readings before marking answers on the coded sheet

Also a clarification on whether invigilators can be made to disturb us like this

Please accept my grievance as a genuine case and see that this is addressed as this is first time

I recently performed as duty magisterate in law and order for smooth conduct o[censored]psc ias prelm exam at sp college srinagar centre j& k, held on[protected]. When i claimed my duty allowances from psc, they denied me the same. When i spoke to a representative from upsc who was also present at the centre, he said that money has already been alloted to psc for observers & magisterates.
Kindly look into the matter at an earliest so that we continue to perform for smooth & hassle free conduct of exams in the upcoming exams o[censored]psc in future. I can submit the deputation order from deputy commissioner if asked to do so for your kind reference.

I want to say that i went to my examination center before 5 minutes but the security guard of the examination center did not allowed me to enter and started arguing with me without any reason and wasted my 15 minutes and then closed the door by saying that time of entering is over. Due to which i was not able to appear in upsc prelims morning exam. Its a kind request to you to please look at my issue and resolve my issue.

I am a defence person retiring from navy on coming July 31. According to compendium and om released by DOP&T. All ex servicemen are eligible for gage relaxation for all govt job including A and B grade job. However, reservation is only for C and D grade job. Now UPSC has released notification regarding application for the post of assistant commandant for CAPFs. The DOP&T compendium clearly mention that there is 10% for the ex servicemen for assistant commandant of CAPF. While filling the online application for the post I was unable to submit the form online as it showed a mag saying my age criteria is not matching. Presently my age is 32 and I got recruited in navy at an age of 17 that is minimum required age, I am retiring after completion of 15 yrs of service i.e minimum pensionable service. When I contacted the UPSC facilitation centre they told me that UPSC allows maximum five yrs of age relaxation to the maximu age limit that is 25. 25+5=30 is the maximum eligible for the same. Hereby I would like to mention after completion of minimum pensionable service the minimum age will be 32 of any ex serviceman and at this age he will not be able to apply for the 10 % ex servicemen quota. In case for whom this ex servicemen quota is available. Why the application form is not so designed that after seeking age relaxation and selecting ex serviceman category its showing age limit is exceeded. Why only 5 yrs age relaxation in case of ex serviceman? Where as according to compendium age relaxation to an ex serviceman will be plus three years in addition to the tenure of service he served. Though Same thing is been followed in case of The most coveted civil service examination conducted by the UPSC itself. I will request hereby to the Concerned authorities to look after my grivience as soon as possible because last date of application is 21 May 18. Concerned authorities May be taken on call and my griveince be addressed as soon as possible. I have attached the copy of compendium and om I which page number 10 clearly mention the eligibility criteria for ex servicemen for re employment in all category

Sir. For upsc examination age limited relaxation age is till 37 for sc. Age is now 33. But there is not accepted my application form due to age limit by computer. It shows that about age limit till 32 for sc. Thats why i couldn't fill completed my application form. Its unjudgemental. Pls help. I want to give examination. This is very necessary for me. If for sc age limit is 37 relaxation then what for computer rejected my application form. Its wrong procedure so pls do something for sc. Obc. Nt. And other backward casts

I'm a student of grade 12, who had applied for nda exam 2018. I had successfully applied for the exam via online and had completed the payment through net banking. I later logged into their website to view my status of my application. I had provided all the valid information required to view the status of my application. Even after entering the website is not accepting my details and is saying to enter valid information. I strongly protest for the inconvenience caused to me. I hope the problem is corrected soon.

I applied for the post of assistant commissioner (Nrm/rfs), advertised by upsc (Advt. No. 06/2017; vacancy no. [protected]). My roll no is 239 (Application no [protected]) as mentioned in the scrutiny file uploaded on upsc website. For the process of shortlisting, upsc increased the desirable experience from 03 years to 06 years. Here i want to mention that (1) online application format for the same as well as in the advertisement, it was not mentioned that phd research work should also be mentioned in experience column. (2) sir, i have mentioned ph. D under additional qualification as m. Sc degree has been asked as essential qualification. Since only 3 years of experience was asked in advertisement and i fulfilled the same. But i[censored]psc had changed its criteria for shortlisting then it should have given an opportunity to candidates to clarify their stand. Further, as per ugc regulation, phd research work is considered as research experience. Apart from my ph. D years, i have teaching and research experience of 5 years and 4 months and counting my ph. D the total will be 8 years and 4 months. My application has been rejected by neither counting those experiences nor putting a query regarding it before taking a final decision. (3) in advertisement phd should be kept as desirable but candidates even without phd degree have been called for interview.

It is respectfully submitted as under:-
1. That i was one of the applicant for the post of “public prosecutor in central bureau of investigation, department of personnel & training, ministry of personnel, public grievances and pensions under the vacancy no. [protected]”, conducted on 25.11.2017.
2.. That i had been issued the roll number 0000421 and my examination centre was “ion digital zone idz 1, gt karnal road, plot no.62 and 64, khasra no.54, village nangli poona, opp. Jain mandir budhpur bus stand, near hanuman temple, delhi, india-110036 (Landmark - opp. Jain mandir budhpur bus stand, near hanuman temple)”.
3. That sir it is the letter of extreme disappointed that the location of this examination centre is really hard to find out moreover there is no sign board that are providing the directions towards the same.
4. That further it is the matter of graver embarrassment that the most prominent recruitment agency of the nation is holding the examination on the centre where there is not even the road connectivity available and the agency completely ignored the fact that the candidates from the different parts of the country are coming to take the exam so they are not conversant with the location. Moreover in the absence of the direction boards it's really hard to reach the centre.
5. That sir on 25.11.2017, i came to take the examination at the assigned centre but due to the difficulties of finding the location and further non availability of the parking, i got late to the tune of minutes and the guard despite of requests made by number of peoples shut the door of the centre on my face itself and did not allow me to take the examination.
6. That the time to enter the examination hall was 8:45 am where as the time to start the examination was 9:30 am, i had reached the examination centre prior to 8:50am, despite of numerous requests no person came from the aforesaid centre to allow me to enter the examination centre.
7. That when we found no way to enter the examination centre we called the police, the local pcr came around 9:05am. After the pcr van reached, two persons came from the centre; all the students who were late only by 3, 4 minutes requested these two persons to enter the examination centre. But despite several requests, these two persons did not allow us to enter the examination centre. All the requests of around 30 to 35 students/candidate had gone in vain, they shut the door on our face. After this, sir i had called upon the number given on the official website o[censored]psc but they first didn't entertained us and later started answering saying wrong number which again questions the credibility of the upsc.
8. After the exam, i called one of my friend, who also had appeared for the same exam, his examination centre was at noida, i told the entire incident to him and he replied me that “no such harsh rule was at his centre” that the candidates came even after the 8:45am deadline and were allowed to seat for the examination. That was the gross irreparable loss born by all the students who were present over there.
9. That sir it is o[censored]tmost importance to draw your attention towards the last date of filling the examination forum which was in november last year and the examination was conducted after complete one year and this shows the grave administrative lapses at the end of the upsc and even having the reasonable cause i was not even allowed to enter the examination hall being late by less than 5 minutes.
10. That sir if i could have been allowed to enter the examination centre it was not prejudicial to anyone but the action of the examination centre took an unfair chance from me to fight for the competition.
11. That it is further requested that the cctv video may be perused regarding the occurrence as it will witness the whole situation in detail.

So in the light of the above circumstances it's evident that there is a lapse at the part of the upsc as well as on the part of the aforesaid center. I may not be made sufferer for the actions of the upsc. So it is respectfully prayed that an appropriate action may be taken with immediate effect to let me escape from the irreparable loss which may occur due to non action.
