Dear Sir/Madam,

Sub:- Complaint regarding the Privelage cards of VLCC, Bangalore.

As per the above subject i have purchased 3 Privelage cards from the marketing agents in the month of October 2010 for Rs. 600/- each, who came to my shop and sold and told that they are from VLCC and can avail 25 varieties of services in VLCC in a period of 1 year. so i called VLCC period for confirmation and even they told the same. so i purchased 3 cards.
After 1 month i went to use that card in the VLCC, J.P. Nagar, Bangalore. in the month of Feb 2011, but they told this service has been stopped and cant use the card. they told to ask the marketing agents itself for the refund. when i called the marketing agents they are not responding properly(Switch off and not rechable). Actually i should not ask the marketing people when i have purchased the card of VLCC i should ask VLCC persons only.
i sent a mail to the VLCC headoffice regarding the same and they are telling that cant be refunded and as they got cheated from the agencies, which is no way concernced by the public.
Please help me by getting my money back of Rs: 1800/-. and also help people who are cheated from VLCC.

Very poor, Actually ridiculous. I went to Chennai VLCC 23/07/2010.
VLCC claims that they do transfers for packages if intimation is provided. I have given them intimation for a break for 1 month and a transfer of my package to other city (Chennai t Bangalore) but still no action is taken and after giving them strong follow up for 1 month. I have paid 16214 Rs.
VLCC cheated me.

I have become member of VLCC in September 2010. The purpose is to get rid of acne and tanning problems on the face. Till date no good results have been occured and my face is going to be damaged day by day.
The company is blaming me on the matter like I do not go regularly in the centre, etc...... The same has been communicated to the head office of VLCC but till dtae no serious action has been taken.

I need your guidance...

I Joined VLCC SLIMMING CENTRE malad lindroad . They promise me to give a permanent weight loss of atleast 7 kgs. upon their strong recomendation. i joined vlcc. paid around 24,000. reduced ?????????? I gain 2-3 kg of my weight which was permanent loss i gain that immediate after joining session...... & they even not reply me about it I leave withing 20 days other wise instead of loss 7 kgs I gain 7 kgs

One employee in VLCC has stolen my Purse which contains three debit cards and cash of Rs.2000. but no one was bothering there about my purse. they didn't even suggested me for any remedy.

I hav got my hair straightend from vlcc. due to their wrong process of ironing.
Due to that my hair fall and breakage started and I visited to many doctors for the trartment and they told that it is due to hot ironing that they hav done. I wanted to bring this to the notice of the owner of the particular branch{bilaspur branch} but she is also not ready to listen to my problem
so now I hab decided to take legal actions on her

I have deposited Rs 40000 to VLCC for some services out of total amount of 70000 but because of some reasons I could not avail those services and next day I have called them for the same. At the time of depositing money nobody told me deposited money will not be refunded at all. Now they are telling it has been written on bill so we will not refund money but in spite of that you can user our services for the 40000 at any time in next 6 month or year. We can give you a note for the same. Now I want to know can I get money back or not.

Iam waiting since more than 15days to get the vlcc service, but iam failing to get an appointment inspite of full advance payment of the same.

The reason they ar egiving is the product not available

I took facial hair reduction package from VLCC last October. They promised guranteed hair reduction in 6 sittings. I paid 25 K for the package which included laser plus glycolic peels. I have taken 8 sessions now and still there is not considerable reduction. I also felt that the sessions were not done with the intention to show goos results so that I buy their extended sessions. On last day Doctor did not did it properly and told me that it might require 5 more session which will cost 10 K more!!!!
There have been lot of instances durng this time frame of 1 year which shows how careless and unprofessional and uneducated they are.
1. Doctor sold me laser with glycolic peel, while during laser glycolic peels are not advised
2. Doctor told me to come with full hair growth and if I feel bad about it I can cover it using bleach, which again should not be doen with laser
3. I told in the beginning I have PCOS and have extremly sensitive skin, after first session of glycolic peel they told me that my skin is sensitive and I would need some other peel which is 1500 rupees more than glycolic peel. I told them this in the starting that my skin is senstive, then why they have sell me something which they know will not suit my skin
4. At the end of the session, when doctor did not see much improvement, then she asked if I have PCOS, which i told them before buyoing the package. She said that people with PCOS do not show good results!!! Then why did they sell the service to me!!!

I feel completely cheated. After spending 25 K again I will be dependent on threading or other means of hair removal as this may help after 5 more sessions....which again is a big question....

Last time i submitted a complaint here about VLCC and the failure in their Laser treatment. After that they called me just to supress me, saying our head office is working on your issue. After that there has been no calls from VLCC> They are very sad. I will bring it to the newspaper very soon with evidence. Even on this website i will post some pics for evidence.

My name is Gayathri from Bangalore. I went to VLCC cunningham road and got myself registered for full face laser treatment(hair removal) . I got in touch with the branch manager Jyothi and she put me to this Dermatologist Dr.Arun Kumar. They said within 7 sessions you will have no hair, no matter however sensitive your skin is and blah.. blah... I agreed and got enrolled for it and weight reduction.

Forget 7 sessions even after 10-11 sessions my hair on the face didnt decrease instead started increasing. I used to complain it to Dr.Arun right from the 3rd session. He said it will reduce gradually and asked me to razor my hair and not thread or wax it. I did the same until 10th session and still doing it, unfortunately. When complained Dr.Arun named a biiiiig medical term to it and asked me to get my haromonal tests done. I got all those tests done spending Rs. 5,000/-. The tests were normal. Then Dr.Arun put me to Vibhuti Sharma, who was the head that time. She met me and advised me to go for some more sessions and i agreed. But even that went vain, because there was no results at all. I agree results might vary from person to person, but there cant be no results at all.

Then when asked for re-imbursement Dr.Arun cleverly escaped saying, i cant do anything, but you can avail other services. I said no at that time. Then i got in touch with Mr.Sabu Paul, who was the head of South India at VLCC. He then passed the buck to Dr.Gitanjali, from corporate, who considers herself very smart and spoke to me for half an hour on the phone saying your hair growth is reduced. I dont know why you are saying like this, we cant reimburse your money as that is not VLCC's policy. Instead of consoling me she was so rude.

Then i again called Sabu paul so many times and said if not my money give me some services. He sends me an RUDE SMS saying : " We cant give you any services, as you have availed all the services" There was not even one apology note in his SMS. How sad of people representing VLCC at this level, talking like this? Cant even imagine.

Hence planning to file a law suit against VLCC for the insult, cheating and Embarassement they put me on. I feel so embarassed to walk with so much of hair on my face now. I am not going to spare them. I am putting this on all leading newspapers.

This complain is regarding the false commitments made by VLCC,pitampura branch New delhi.Their tag line"Shaping your confidence does not suit them as they are best in killing anybody's confidence.The maion objective of this complain is not compensation but to make people aware about the false commitments which they make can completly ones health forever.

I personally had experienced the same one year back.I came to VLCC to get rid of my minor tanned skin and Ms.Kavita Manager,VLCC Pitampura branch advised me to have glycolic peels without letting me know that these peels can burn your skin completely.Dr Sachdev gave me 10 sessions on hands and now its like one can see those visible dark patches on my hands forever.I went several times there,cried in front of them but there is only one thing which matters to them the most is MONEY.

So,One should learn from my experience and should keep a ban on these type of services given by the VLCC institute.

they cheated us by saying that they'll reduce my weight. vlcc is just cheating us

I am Riya Sharma. I am taking services of VLCC from last 3 years. I had done rebonding of my hair on 16th May 2010 spending Rs 10000 in VLCC, Pusa Road.It takes minimum 4 hrs and they guarantee that hair will be straight for next 1 year.Just within 15 days my hair started curling.I had taken Hair Spa many times to get it straight but it not works. Now my Hairs getting fall also.What a shame !! Such a big salon name n not interested to get a customer satisfied.

Attention : Complaint of worst service of Bridal makeup on marriage day.

I am greatly unsatisfied and furious with the irresponsible and worst service provided by VLCC makeup artist to the Bride on her marriage day. I booked VLCC to cover marriage of my brother wherein they were supposed to provide Bridal makeup on 26th May and 27th May. They urged me to pay the entire amount in advance which was 33000 Rs. I paid 90% of the amount in advance. Both the day the makeup artist came with a trainee and was in rush. The trainee was incapable of doing any work as she was totally inexperienced. He didn’t carry basic instruments like hair dryer , nail paint remover, nail paint, etc. The product used were non standard ones. The commitment given to me was that there would be four makeup artists coming down to Khandala were the marriage was organized and they would be carrying all branded cosmetics like Mac and Crayon but to my surprise there were two person to cover the ceremony carrying non branded and incomplete products which resulted in a skin reaction to one of my guests. The makeup artist was inexperienced in getting the Bride ready. He told bluntly on the marriage day while getting the bride ready that he cannot wrap the Chuni of bride as he have never wrapped heavy Chunis and designer Sarees. Proclaiming this he sat and told the bride to call her relatives if they can wrap the Chuni and make her ready. He ran through the makeup portion in a haphazard manner showing his deep negligence towards his assigned work. When questioned on this he spoke in an uncultured manner as if he was obliging us. The bride was placed in an extremely awkward situation as she was getting delayed for the ceremonies. Moreover adding to this the extreme tragedy happened when the makeup of the Bride came out completely in not less 15 minutes. The bride requested the makeup man to stay back for 15 min so that he can give a final touch up to which the makeup man agreed. But when given a call he didn’t respond and it was discovered than that he left the place without informing anyone. For the Bride this act from a renowned brand like VLCC caused immense mental harassment as on such a special day of her life she witnessed such horrible experience.

After the marriage I called up the VLCC outlet at Malad West and spoke with Dr Sunita and Shikha but didn’t get a proper response from their side. I had to chase them by calling up again and again as they were not replying my call, finally I called them from a different number wherein I was successful in catching hold of Dr Sunita. I narrated the entire experience to which she gave a cold reply giving illogical reasons. She went on saying to me that because you didn’t pay the remaining 10% amount you got such a service. I argued with her putting my case that the service rendered didn’t even match 90% of what I paid to you. As a consumer if I am paying I expect service in return which was not at all rendered here. There was a sheer wastage of the hard earned money.

I request Consumer forum to take a Strict Action against VLCC and give justice to the case.

We have subbmitted the pf application twice but every time we visit VLCC WEST OF CHORD ROAD BRANCH BANGALORE were i was working they always show corporate office in DELHI. and corporate office cannot be contacted very easly and THEY always claim they have not received the application at all.

please guide us what can be done in this regard.

Very poor, Actually ridiculous. On 30/07/2007 i came to vlcc for eyebrow hair reduction and consulted Dr Smitha and she assured me that the hair will never come back after six session, and Dr anupama did the laser for me. after 5 session also hair in my eye brows was same as it was earlier. dr anupama said once the 6th session is over then it will not come. But while doing my 6th session she burned my face above the eyebrow. the marks of the burn still there. then i got angry over this they were saying this is part of the session. what is this we come to vlcc to look good not to get burn marks in the face. then they told me to meet branch in charge Dr anju she only gives me the ointments name i have bear all the charges for the fault done by the vlcc inexperience staff, first she prefer me silver x then marks didnt go i came back again she gave me another name ritino a aagain same thing glyco a. i got fed up with this and she said like it will take some time, till now i have the marks. eye brows still like that only and marks as well. this is very pain ful experience and physically and mentally. i want solution for this and i except some serious action for this from higer managment.No pk/012889. Package no[protected]. i paid some 7000/-rs . i lodge the complaint in vlcc customer service but they too are helpless and no response at all.

I submitted about 9000/- Rs. to VLCC, Koramangla, Bangalore. I asked them about my timing and kid issues, they assured we'll take care. But on next day when I went to their centre, they wasted my time. I am not happy with their services. After discussing them to refund my money. They replied - they do not have any REFUND Policy. This case reached to VIBHUTI SHARMA (South Zone Head). She also replied not to refund money.
So please be careful with VLCC. Because CONSTITUTION can be amend but VLCC policy can't.

I had taken package for tummy tucks , arms tucks & weight loss from VLCC Noida Branch. At the time of taking the pacage they assured of results with 5+5+5 sittings .But inspite of repeated procedure for three times in six months i found no results neither in weight nor in inches loss as promissed at the start. In Sept i had asked for refund of my money they replied its not possible. If i have no effect of there treatment i want my money back. I had send three reminders but all in vain. They insisted that it is not as per their policy. But i want my money back which is 13,890/-. paid on 22/04/2009 vide receipt no-pk/012556.

This is to inform you that i took one package from vlcc for face treatment which costed me 19000rs for 20 sittings.10 sittings for gylocilic peel and 10 sittings for face firming.I took 19 sittings and my one sitting was left.I didnt get any results which were being promised to me at the time of taking the package and i was not in delhi so i was not able to take the last sitting when i came back to delhi and went there they refused to give me the sitting and they told me that now its expired at the time of taking the package i was never being informed that those sittings comes with the expiry date.I felt as if i am being cheated.at Vlcc they make false promises because they want to take money out from customers pocket once they get the package cost they ignore the customer and concentrate on bringing new customers.The treatment that i got from them was gud for nothing.I was being charged so much and what i recieved????Nothing
