Vodafone India — Charging indiscriminately from past 3-4 months | |||||
I have a 99 Rs rental postpaid plan. they activated my data plan without any message of activation in feb 2014. i came to know about this in july upto which i continued to pay 150 Rs data plan without using the data. i was told that data plan will be deactivted from august after i complained 3-4 times.but i was shocked when i was charged for data plan again in august bill. after complaining to nodal officer (which took weeks to process) i got 171 Rs waiver (which i dont know how it was calculated). now i have got sept bill and again i have been charged 150 Rs + tax and 96 Rs for late payment of august bill (which was paid late because they took weeks to correct their own mistake). moreover when i call the customer care they charge me 50 ps/ 3 min (usually they waste time during call and call goes on for 20-25 mins) and i have to call atleast 5-6 times until i get a concrete feedback. if this is how they loot customers in urban areas think of how much fraud they must be committing against rural customers. i want people of india to boycott vodafone and switch over to tata docomo or airtel or reliance or idea. And they are not even listening to my problem.
I have called them 6-7 times for over 25-30 mins, tweeted, sent emails.
Me too opting for number portability.
I have faced the billing issue for the second time. I don't check my bills so a number of times it must have gone unnoticed.
