Airtel Broadband — Billing and Shifting

I had shifted my residential premises and requested for connection to be relocated. Airtel did honour that in a few days time after receiving all documentatins. Unfortunately since 6 months i had been trying to get the address changed so that i can receive bills on time and nothing happend. I escalated to their escalation dept., but everytime it was a blanket promise that the bills will reach the same day and apologies... frustrated i disconnected. On top of this after disconnection, i got the bills and the courier representative was showing faces to my family which is the most irritating part. If companies cannot take care basic address update i wonder how they will handle technical problems!!!! God Bless Airtel!!

I was using Airtel Connetion a long time ago but now i want to shift it to
another place. They are saying that they can't provide this connection on that address. Now I want to shift it difference address then they are saying my connection has been canceled. They should call before doing that I had paid for that number so want this connection up. They can't do that without telling me, very upset don't know what to do.

i want to change my password, i have taken airtelbroadband connection .ihave Binatone DT845W WirelessADSL2+ROUTER .MY PASSWORD HAS DISCLOSED BY MISTAKE, SOME OTHER PEOPLE ARE USING MY WI-FI .SO I REQUEST U TO SEND ME THE PROCESS FOR CHANGING PASSWORD
I had applied for the unlimited broadband connection (256 kbps of tariff 799/-) on 18th march. The airtel executive came to my place and i filled the form gave him my documents and even gave paid him 5 months advance as to get 1 mnth benefit. I was not having the present address proof so he asked me to give him 50 Rs for dat, i gave him that too. He said i'l get th connection in 3-4 working days. Since then i am calling him and dat guy is not responding to my calls or messages. Tired of calling him i called the customer care and they told me they cannot provide me the connection due to some technical problem and they have drawn the money. First of all i[censored] ppl shud chk whether the connection is possible or not. U dont care about your service wt u care is just money. U ppl are so fast in withdrawing the money but in refunding the same u take 1 week and that too is not sure. Shame on airtel and its service. Its a fraud.

Airtel Broadband — airtel sent legal notice on a cancelled connection

Airtel sent me a legal not over not paying bills on a deactivated connection saying that i am not paying the bills,a have deactivated the connection after pay all due bills till that date, so if they didnt canceled the connection is it my flout?

hi my name is harish my contact num is [protected],one sudden day airtel barred my outgoing landline calls and broadband services,i couldnt evn call a customer service from landline had to use my mobile to make call,called 20 times in half an hour each time was disconted by airtel customer service once told abt the issue,the last agent whom i spoke with, started being abusive to me and said wont help me and disconected the call,its seems the services which they provide to their customers is very very poor as well as their customer support staff is absolutly useless,good for nothing and one last advice to all my fellow buddies who have airtel landline and broadband,please look for alternatives and if in case i[censored] have any issues with the services please plaese do not call customer service,it will make you more and more frustrated and irritated as the staff is trained in dharavi and very useless.....0/10

Airtel company is only concentrating on monthly bill payment they send reminder before 15days of due date.but services for which they charge is some thing like 3rd degree torcher . They are only interested in paisa not services.Inka call centre logo ko bewakoofe banane ka kaam karta hai. bar bar kahne par ki speed thik nahi aa rahi hai .kahte hai nahi thik hai. phir kahte hai ki tar modem se nikaliye phir se lagaaiye thik ho jaaye ga. lekin kuch nahi hota hai.jab broadband thik nahi hota toh phone ko hold par daal dete hai aur gayab ho jaate hai .phone kaatne ko kaho toh kahte hai ki aapko airtel se phone aayega phir woh bewakoofe banake phone connection ko katne nahi dega.aur doosri taraf bill badta rahega uspar penalty lagaate rahenge.na phone thik hoga na katega aur bill badta rahega.uske baad bill payment ke liye aadmi aate rahenge aur mental torcher karte rahenge.private companies ka toh bhagwan hi maalik hai.L.L[protected].

Airtel Broadband — Decamping with Subscribers Money

I reside in Dahisar East and had opted for an Airtel Broad Band connection to be installed at my residence. I had put in a request through the Airtel website and was promptly contacted by a telecaller who assured me that someone from the company would visit me soon and attend to my query.

A salesman by the name of Achal Salvi ( Mobile No [protected]) visited me and assured me that Plan 699 Combo Unlimited would be the best for me. The very next day he came and collected Rs.2100 IN CASH from me. That day was 24th April, 2010.

His receipt was his own signature on a copy of the Airtel Broadband form that I had to fill in. NO company stamp or any other form of bonafide acknowledgement. His assurance - The connection would be installed the VERY NEXT DAY.

Its been 10 days now and not a single person from the company, leave alone this salesman, has contacted me. Despite several attempts, they remain absconding.

Such is the quality of Airtel's Broadband service.

Dear Manager Customer care / nodal officer,

After my below mail, neither the probelm is resolved nor amount is refunded . Instead of discontinuing the full connection only my IPTV was disconnected. I had made at least 7-8 call to your call center in last 48 hours but no solution is provided. Inspite of their repetative assurance till now my connection is not working.

I am fustrated with the kind of services Airtel provides.

Your Engineer has visted our house and demostrated the quality of picture through the external wiring but there was no improvement in the quality .He agreed and confirmed that on 42'' LCD TV qualtity of picture through IPTV can not be like cable TV. That means either I have to go for the cable TV or change my LCD to get the good/comparable quality.

In this situation I do not left with any option other than to discontinue the IPTV which has been put as demo purpose for me. I want to get refund of Modem charge I have paid in this condition.

I recently gone for Airtel IP TV with broadband WI-FI connection. My landline no is [protected] and my Account No is 15663823. At the time of installation we observed that quality of picture is not good and even the worse than the Cable TV with Set top Box. Your person come for instalation informed that it is because of bigger sized 42" LCD and quality of cabling in the society and told us that they will put external cable for the better quality. I informed that I am considering this installation for demo purpose only and will accept the installation from the date external cable is put and quality is good. But some how they have got the insttalation certificate signed from my child.

I have followed with the concern 5-6 persons including the person through which I had taken the connection many times but till date nothing is done. I received the first bill also for 10 days while I am still using the Cable TV at my home.

This is not at all acceptable to me. You have to got my problem rectified and wave off the current bill and start charging from the date problem is addressed.

I am trying to reach your call center through[protected] for last 2 days but it always gives busy tone. Is there any other number. No body is listening to my problem can you solve this.

Airtel — Shifting connection from one place taking long time and no update from Airtel

Hi

I am a Airtel broadband user from last 5 months . But due to so personal problem i have shifted from one aparment to another Apartment in same place in Secretariat colony Darga Papullaguda Hyderbad. I called and informed to the Airtel Customer care[protected] and rasied a request to shift my connection on 12th may 2010. But Its still pending . I can understand that some bricks and sand are there and Airtel not able to dig on one side because other side they have to dig 10 meters more . I am calling customer care like anything and they are simply avoding and not giving any update . I am ready to disconnect this connection but they are not accepting that . getting frustrated day by day ...

I need to know the Internet user detail for the month of April & May 2010 on the above mentioned A/c No. Since this particular No is hold by me (Sunita) so i want to get the confirmation that the broadband facility on the above a/c no is valid to a single system ( Laptop) which is being used by me.

Incase anyone found using the same broadband facility which iam currently using will need to be blocked on immediate basis otherwise i will take legal action and will not Pay the bill amount.

I doubt that airtel customer care has provided my ID and Password to some other person also without taking any confirmation from me, this should not be the case otherwise i will take the strict action against the infringement of my Private Internet Network.

This is regarding the issue with airtel broadband.

I had asked for 799/- unlimited plan, however the contact person adjusted that to 1400/- plan. This was due to some comission he might get at his end.

Unaware of this situation i used it for a month. The next month i get my bill for 1800/-.That was a shocker. After getting in touch with the worst customer care, they said that it would be resolved. However it wasnt resolved. I got the connection disconnected at the earliest. Even then these guys sent me the bill of the next month and now they have sent a advocate legal nmotice asking me to pay 2800/- within 7 days.

Please advice how do we deal with these money sucking cheaters.

And this is not the first time, even the same type of issue had come earlier during transfer of internet connection.I thought it a waste to talk to them. I need a concerned person to the matter and solve the problem

Same thing happened with me, Airtel cannot brazenly disown my issue as the cheque which got cleared was in name of BHARTI AITEL LTD, ICICI BANKING CORP.

I have the mutiple mail trails written to customer care, nodal officers etc . Just giving this a shot if I get a revert from the most careless service provider this time or else Airtel is in big trouble for sure.

Airtel Broadband — Numerous Call From Airtel BB Telemarketing

Despite of being registered in national Do not call list, its been over a month that i am receiving telemarketing calls from AIRTEL BROADBAND. the number they call from is 45574059 and many others starting from 45XXXXXXXX. i keep on telling them that i do not need airtel broadband and the moment i tell them this they hang up.

then again a new day and call and hang up. i am frustrated with AIRTEL and not too sure of what needs to be done next.

raised a complaint with my cellular service provider and hope that they would do something now.

Airtel Broadband — Shifting not happened

I have been using Airtel Broadband for more than a year and a month back i applied for a shift as i am changing my resdience, Initially its being commited to given the connection in new address but it doesnt happen even after a week but when i called customer again no one have the proper reason for delay. So i asked for disconnect.

But still not confirmed of my termination in between i got one call from retention team and they told that there was some distance issue in new address and they would be working on it and also opted some new plan on it. Afterwards there were no followup

I have been using AIRTEL broadband for past 3 months now and the speed has been pathetic for the amount they charge is exhorbitant.I purchased Airtel thinking that the speed will be good and service will be better. But no such thing.Speed is worst than DIAL up connection and service , no comments.The problem is AIRTEL is refusing to cancel my connection and refund my money. I also told that I want to move to a plan which has better speed ,with the same rental, but still they refuse to do so. My question is does AIRTEL has right to cheat people with wrong ADs and poach their hard earned money. I have complaints several times to Customer care, a technical person visits and they check with the software and say everything is OK from our END.Well then i ask ahy i am not getting the speed ,The ans i get is shocking, we only advertise higher speed but u wont get such speed, they check downloading from MICROSOFT or APPLE.COM site,speed is relatively better.So I am told i cant download from other sites??? then y shud i pay rental?

I want JUSTICE thats y i am posting on this forum.I have very quick and prompt [censored]ion previously. So I would like to post my comlaint and forward my concern to AIRTEL.
I have similar experience with Airtel. I am sure they are sitting on a huge amount of such money collected from innocent people who trust the brand image of Airtel. They should be immediately investigated by SEBI and a thorough audit of their books must be done.

On 16th I found customer care number and spoke to customer care representative about my connection, she told like in your area we cant process. why they not intimated over phone? and also its there responsibility to check before form filling.
