[Resolved]  DishTV — DishTV very poor service

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I’m Vijay Krishna Srivastava from Guwahati and I purchased DishTV connection of 3months subscription scheme as on 25/April/2008. After couple of weeks, I’m continuously facing “No access / Signal not found” problem apart from this problem I’m also in problem of their customer care services of such a reputed group. Whenever I call at [protected] (East region) they never pick their customers calls only one line is repeated continuously “this week is for Hera phere movie order your demand movie” but I ever get the line of their customer executive to tell my problem & this phone line is chargeable also, so after 15-20 minutes of wait I’ve to cut my phone from my side. This is really a very good service of Zee network enterprise for their main customer because they know they the existing customer is in their hand, so it is good not to hear their problems. When I call at DishTV Toll free Airtel mobile no. of Nodia, they pick the phone but ask me to hold the line but after that no reply for a long time and finally they disconnect the line from their side. So this is the Goodwill of Zee network / Dish TV. I mail to dish TV number of times regarding my problem of “No access / Signal not found” which was solved but again after few days it repeated itself. This is my final e-mail to Zee network enterprise / DishTV else I’ve to prepare myself for suit a file in consumer form. I’ve a proof against your customer care executive regarding holding the customer for a longtime and disconnect the line as I record it in my mobile phone.

I am a Dish TV Customer. I started facing problems in software from Sunday, 25/09/2011 This is to state that after lodging complaint to DishTV Customer Care on 1/10/2011., the complaint has not beeen looked into. It has been 7 days and no technician from Dish TV has visited my location. Every day, when we have called the customer care, the customer care executive tell us that some one would visit to correct the fault. But no one has actually had. After several reminders every day my complaint has not been considered.

The complaint number is 70860987. My Dish TV VC no is [protected].

I would request you to look into this matter with immediate effect.

DishTV — Fraud, cheating, money deducted wrongly

I have been using DishTV for the last 5 years now. Over time without informing me, channels have been removed from my package like star sports, star cricket, espn, etc... and new add on packages introduced and charged extra from me. I never bothered much since I use the DTH very less and have very little time for complaining. Recently my parents came to stay with me and they need to watch TV. Thats when the problems started coming up since the view time increased.

I had made a payment of 700 INR on 16th Oct. On 28th Oct I received a mail from their customer care, which extended my validity to 4th January 2012. I called up customer care to verify since I did not make any extra payment. They assured me it must have been some promotional offers (like the 40 free channel offer going at that time) and I need not worry. They also asked me about any other issue, to which I told them that I wasnt getting Star TV pack, zee tv, etc.. for over 6-7 months. They sent over a person to repair the issue and I had to pay 250 Rs for that.

On 15th December, I found all my channels gone. I called up customer care and they rudely told me that the connection is in the name of Mr. Vikant and without any email ID or mobile number registered, not in my name. I should verify my details like what MY NAME IS and call back. I have been a customer for the last 5 years with the same name , same Email ID and Registered mobile no.

So I called up the North India number and they changed back my details after blaming ME of changing all details as according to them the system could NEVER have done so on their own. They also mentioned that the 200 Rs was taken back on 30th oct and my validity went back to 17th Dec (I made new payment on 17th, but they refused to reactivate my account automatically) and I wasnt informed as my Distv was not on for 2 hours during that time !!!!??? Overall I have to pay 20 Rs for reactivation and recharge. (actually they must have allocated my VC no. to some new customer who paid 200 Rs, and all my details were removed. Later they changed it and my account was penalised, but they never changed back my info) Complete goofup.

I sent a mail back asking for a refund of 20 Rs, and an apology for the misbehaviour and criticism I received over phone. They replied that its not possible and if I want to discontinue, I can do. What kind of behaviour is that? I was told that my next recharge date is 13th Jan and after that I can disconnect. On 13th Jan I paid for 1 month (350 Rs) early in the morning to avoid disconnection. To my surprise my next recharge date was 8th Feb instead of 13th. I called them and they said that somehow they had deactivated my account before 13th as per instructions from dishTV main office, so 20 Rs goes there, and they activated a UTV package which took some money. None can be refunded and I shouldnt bother much since its a small amount.

This is cheating, pathetic customer treatment and customer harrassment. I want compensation for the same.

DishTV — TELEMARKETING OF DISH TV DISTURBING TIME AND AGAIN

I AM DISHTV DIRECT TO HOME TV CONSUMER. THEIR TELEMARKETING COMPANY IS CALLING AGAIN AND AGAIN FOR
UPGRADATION/SOLICITATION OF ADDITIONAL SERVICES WHICH I DO NOT REQUIRE. THEY ARE DISTURBING IN ODD HOURS.

DishTV — connection suspended without valid reason

I've DTH connection by DishTV, which is suspended for last 4 days without any valid reason. My last payment allowa me to enjoy subscription till Oct-12. I've lodged complaint at their call centre in Mumbai today(30th July-12), complaint number is 93216068. There is still no action taken by them.

DishTV — Poor Response to Request

I had put in a request for shift in location consequent to my change in residence, on 01 Nov. I was promised action within 24 hours. I have been reminding them every day. It is fifteen days now. Nothing has been done. I sent an email to their customer desk. They did not reply. Every time I speak to the call centre, they promise me that the complaint has been forwarded on priority. 15 days no reaction.

DishTV — not responding/service

Dear Sir,

I have sent the mail to Dishtv today but no positive respond/solution from their site most of the time he just dropped the call.

Below is the mail which i have sent today to dishtv please look into the matter and do the needful

I am DishTV subscriber and I have 2 connect parent and child (Installed on 29 Nov) more than 2 months I was unable to view some of the paid channels in Morning only more on my child connection VC no-[protected] first I registered the complaint with Customer care on 2nd Dec 12 complaint no[protected]. My signal strength was around 50% and 301 no signal message is shown on display.
Technician visited and gave temp solution for the same he just plug or unplug the cable from Dish next day we moved to outstation for 25-30 days. After reached back we found same problem is happened and again registered the call to customer care on 27th Jan 13 Complaint no.1259063 and next day Engg visited, again he gave temp solution he asked your box may be faulty and same need to be replaced and after 2-3 days same was replaced but next day same problem is happened I again logged the complaint on 29 Jan[protected] again gave temp solution just change the direction of dish.
3-4 days same was working but again 301 no signal problem is happened and I registered the complaint on 9th Feb[protected] & 14123156 engg visited and gave temp solution he just change the dual tunnel of Dish and asked now your problem is permanent resolved and I mentioned in report same is under observation and will confirm after 2-3 days but very next day same is happen I again registered the call on 10th Feb[protected] now today Engg visited and asked your dual tunel of dish is faulty and same need to be replaced and you have to pay for the same
Why we are paying for the same as problem is coming since day one and we regular paid to Dishtv for service.
We need the permanent solution as your Technician is just only given temp solution and fraud with customer and try how to make the money from customer why they are not diagnose the problem on first instance after 2 month he asked the same.
Please look into the matter on priority and give permanent solution if you don’t have return back my money.

DishTV — diactivate account even after recharge my.

I have been recharge my dishtv account online for Rs.400/- on 25.10.2013. My dishtv VC no[protected] payment transaction ID no.[protected] Complaint No. 1410I41364. My dishtv account not yet activated. Many time HAve send the details to the dishtv authority. Please do something givwithe me justice.

What action has been taken from your end? Please update me the latest status of my complaint.

DishTV — complaints regarding channels

Our V.C.number is[protected], Zee tv hd and bindass hd has been removed from our channels list for which we are paying. I request the concerned authorities to accept our complain and do contact us for any queries. Contact no. [protected], [protected]
Dish TV has horrible service. I (VC no [protected]) had opted for "Pick by channel" package which costs around Rs 150~ a month, Starting January 16 2016, with a validity period of 3 months. According to terms it cannot be changed in between. With the horrible nature of the system of Dish and its absolutely rubbish methods, on 14 Feb 2016, the package automatically changed to Maxi Sports Game-on HD which is Rs 440 per month. This could only be a system error and shows the inconsistency of Dish. After a lot of calls which the Dish TV executives intentionally disconnected as they were unable to explain the error and mistake, it was then again automatically changed to South World Sports HD. There was also a service request[protected] given by stupid customer service of dish for rectifying problem. Nothing has happened yet.

These are the problems with Dish TV

Absolutely horrible systems and mechanisms mostly not working.

Absolutely horrible, unhelpful and irresponsible customer service.

I will advice all future DTH customers to Avoid DISH TV and opt for any competitor such as TATA SKY.
