[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson — Service and repairs

I had got the Joy stick of my Sony-Ericsson K750i repaired from a Sony-Ericsson service center in Gurgaon, but after 2 days of that the phone display went white, and when I took the phone back to the service center the manager refused to handle the phone he said that the phone may have got damaged due to the software getting corrupted or some problem in the main board of the phone, how ever he confirmed that the Cap of the Joystick was not fixed properly. The cold response from the the Store manager made me write to the Sony-Ericsson customer service mail id, how ever I did not get any response from them.

Sony Ericsson Service Center — corrupt service center

I was purchased W300I Sony Ericsson 6 months back and it has got 1 year warranty. suddenly receiving speaker problem occured.I take it into Sony Ericcson service center Numeric communication Services which is in 1st cross, Sampige Road, Malleswaram, Bangalore-560003. They told water entered into the handset because of that speaker damaged and it is a liquid damage and it will cost 543 rupees for cervice evethough it has got 1 year warranty.I believed and I hand over the handset to service center. When I went to service center to collect the Handset after one month, one more person came with the same problem and they told the same reason .Then I came to know that they are telling lie, because water was not at all entered in my handset or the person handset who came with the same problem.

They are collecting the money in this way.

These type of service centers will spoil the brand name of Sony Ericcson.

Sony Trintron 14" Colour TV — Physical damage to set during repairs by Authorised Service Centre

I had given the Colour TV Model No.KV-14P1 Serial No.702110 for repairs to Tekno Plaza on 11.09.08 for mechanical repairs as the set was dead. The Set had no physical damage at the time of submitting for repairs and the same was checked by the Service Centre. After repairs when I received the Set on 19.09.08 to my horror I noticed that the back cover of the set was not properly shut after repairs and was half open, the front cover lock of the menu was broken and was pasted by cellotape. Furthermore the ON-Off switch was not working although they had charged for the switch. When I pointed out the defects to them they told me that they would repair the On- Off Switch but the other damages cannot be repaired. On pointing out that how this has happened under their custody they had no answer but kept mum. Fearing further damage to the set if I left it their for the change of ON-Off Switch I brought back the set in the damaged condition. Kindly look into the matter. w580i Sony ericsson Mobile — Standy By Mobile - Mobile Service time

My mobile w580i is getting hanged off often, also for the past 1 month the buttons are'nt working properly When i went for sony ericsson show room the response was to contact service center . Which is outside the city, when i went for sevice center it was locked at 7:30 pm on saturday. When i went again the center was asking for a bil xerox and also the date they commited to give me back the mobile was saem day evening.

The standy mobile was'nt given . It should be given to adress the customer's need.

Dear Sir,
I purchased sony ericssion handset model no K220i on 29 Sep 07. It got seviour problem on 2 oct 07 they temporarily did something & again next day handset stopped working. When I again visited to service center for the same they denied me complete replacement of handset by saying that If you launched complaint inbetween 7 days of purchase including holidays then only you are eligible for complete replacement of handset.
When I told them I was here on 3 Oct 08 you didn't told me this rule & you didn't registered my complaint by saying it was very minor problem. They said we can't do anything now instead of that they changed some parts of it.

After that incidents I visited 3 more times to the service center for various problems related to handset & every time I got dissappointment & frustation even if I registered the complaint with their customer care I got the poor response.

Now on 28 Sep 08 my one warrenty will be over. I was very dissatisfied with the product & I want to take legal action for cheating the customer & file compensation for the such pathetic service from the service center & customer care center.

Please guide me for the same I have all the related documents with me.
I am totally fed up with the support of SONY Services center providing to us.I feel that I did a mistake by choosing Sony Ericsson Phone ( Z550i ). The support Sony Ericsson is providing to me is really pathetic and pain full.

Still waiting for my phone. after this episode I would request you all not to purchase any Sony Ericsson's phone as they are not having a proper engineer or part to repair it.

My self Ayush Modi, I bought K810i on 3rd Nov 2007 and from that time my phone has gone for a toss twice .First time when i went to the the service center at arun watch company delhi, they repair it on temporary basis and after 2 month it again went for a toss, it over a month they cannot repair it.The day i took that phone it has given me problems only.

Please help in this regard launching a case against sony ericcson.

Sony W200i — WORST SERVICE FROM SONY ERICSSON

I have a Sony w200i, and i am facing a problem with it and problem running pillar to pillar & no help whatsoever from Sony. The service providing company TVSE for sony is a 3rd grade company with no expertise. I bought a W200i in Dec 2007 and not even 6mths there was prob with the joystick which i asked them to repair for which they said the joystick is ok the board below is not proper so need replacement and told me to collect it after 12days after 13 days i called them to ask what happened and they told that still not recd the Board from the company. I escalated the matter and got it after 25 days and to my horror the phone is not working at all, went to the service center and they say board is faulty need to replace will take 15-20 days. CAN U BELIEVE THAT? again asking for 20 days after keeping the phone for 25days. I am trying to locate some Sr officers in Sony to complain about it, does any one have any clue where or can u mail me on ashish.[protected]@gmail.com will be grateful.
NEVER BUY A SONY MOBILE I[censored] HAVE ONE PRAY NOTHING HAPPENNS, I SAW IN THE SERVICE CENTER TOO SO MANY COMPLAINTS AND THE TIME TAKEN TO RESOLVE THE MATTER IS NOT ACCEPTABLE BY ANY STANDARDS.

i have sonyericsson w 810 i gsm cell phone handset with sr no.[protected] on 2-4-2008. i was facing problem of auto shutdown, so went to service centre skylark associates ( authorizedservice partner of TVS-E servicetec.) addr. shop no. 9, building no.2, b wing, sawant banglow, chikanghar, karnic road, kalyan west, kalyan-421301. tel no[protected]. they have told me that its software has to updated and they gave my hand set back with updateded software. next day again i have same problem with one more(key pad not working) .again i submitt handset on 8-9-2008. since that day i do not get my hand set back. every time they gave me feed back of no spare part available. now i do not have another hand set for daily work activities. my WO no. is SE08-E[protected]. please kindly help me in this matter for getting my hand set back as early as possible.

Sony Ericsson (K790i) — Poor Customer Services

I have purchased mobile K790i of Sony Ericsson. Just after 6-7 months problems started. Joystick, functions, keypad, charging problem etc.

I visited twice to their service center located at Noida.First they asked me to pay 1000 Rs to replace its parts, however my set was in warrenty period. I was ready to pay the money, but parts were not available.They asked me to come again. I went again after one week. Again i asked to repair my mobile. But instead of repair again same execuse ... parts are not available.You can come on Friday ...

Its my request that if you can't provide the service don't launch the product in market.

I had a very bad experiece with Sony Ericsson in both Product as well as service.

Please think twice before buying Sony Ericsson mobile...

Sony / W580i Mobile Phone — continuous delay in a minor fault

I have purchased sony w580i mobile phone in october 2007 and i am having problem with it from the very begining. But in last month (September, 2008) some of its keys gets stuck and its screen blackens on quite a no of time. Due to this i approached the service centre of your company National Service Centre ( R.T.Outsourcing) Gandhi nagar Jammu (J&K) on 07.09.2008 and from that very day they are saking lame excuses about their inability to repair the same (your mobile has been sent to chandigarn, spares have not arrived, our engineers are on leave). Now i am so much fed up taht i have decided not to purchase a product of sony ltd. not to talk of a mobile handset. it will be good four your company if you please ask them to give a good treatment to thepeople visiting their service centre otherwise you will be losing name and fame of your company in the future. reply from ur side will be highly greeted

The staffs over there has cheated me. i had purchased a sony handycam
DCR- DVD 710E, along with it accessories(memory stick pro, free duplicate carry case, 5 DVDs set).

They charged me for 5 DVDs which i had earlier denied to purchase.Since the billing was done carelessly by them for all at Rs 27080, i had to pay them.

(31st may 2008)
After using the handcam i was completely satisfied. But i was shocked to see the model & MRP of Memory stick. The model was MS-MT2G and MRP is Rs 1569.
i had paid Rs 1750 for MSX-M2GS as per invoice.

They are neither ready to refund nor give the memory stick as mentioned in the Invoice.They have accepted their mistakes by saying this is the way they sell their products. IF the matter is not sorted out soon, the consequences arising out of it may not be good.

To change the mother boards i used to give in SERVICE POINT which is located in 4th block Jayanagar the Head person of this branch is MAHAVEER. He has Harassed me like any thing by making me round to his shop several times. Now the mobile is in main branch service station ACCEL FRONTLINE, which is located in Cunningham Road, Bangalore here i Requested Manjunath who knows the complete history of my mobile but he is also not helping me out in anyways, now to be frank i have lost hopes that at least i will get a Repaired mobile at least to me. From 2months I am without mobile I am facing lot of problem without mobile Because I am a sales representative .Pls Pls treat it has a high priority Request from a genuine sony customer keep your brand loyalty. once again My humble request to the team pls take some Action and help me out as soon as possible.pls understand my problem and take a serious action on this complaint.

Sony ericsson/K790i — Regarding. Service duration

I purchased K790i mobile just one month back from BIG C mobile shop In Kakinada.After 7-8 days of purchasing mobile it got dead so i give it to BIG C mobile shop for repairing.But till now i did not get my mobile back.He gave me dates but never gave my mobile.This is really very bad i d`nt have any mobile from one and half month.I warn them that if you will not give my mobile at a fixed next date then i will go for consumer code.They send my mobile to hyderabad.
Kindly do the needful.
