Dear All

In this tough economy companies are kicking off their employees for cost cutting, ABN Amro Bank is going to lay off around 6000 people to manage their expenses but i would like to bring to your notice 1 much important thing. I am receiving my bill of ABN Amro Credit Card from last 3 month's of 00.10 Paise. they might be spending atleast 15 Rs. to process my bill and submitting it to me. but they dont realise that this 15 Rs can be the salary of any of their sweeper's of 1 day

I would request ABN Amro instead of laying off their employees try to manage such small things where they can save the money and can sava 1 job...

    Hi,

    Following was the first mail i sent on 06/03/2008 04:50 PM to ABN AMRO.

    Hi

    This is to bring to your notice in written after 2 communications with your Customer care executives, who tends to give false information and commitments to customer about their transactions.

    Reason - Transaction - 24th April, 2008 - Dinners Plus - Rs.1999=00.

    This above transaction happened without my consent for which i even filed a complaint in your ABN AMRO centre on 24th April, 2008 - Exec - Vikas ID - YXI (This ID was given to me by Suruchi). Vikas transferred the line to another executive, i don't remember the name of her and was promised by her that the money would be refunded in the next statement without any docs submission. Beforehand, she checked and confirmed that YES i was billed without consent as i ONLY called to enquire about the DINNER PLUS thought to be DINNER CLUB in the prior call.

    And, was told that i will receive a call to know more about it which i NEVER did.

    On 30th of the same month i received the kit (i was not in Delhi) and when on 29th May, 2008 (don't remember the exact date) i spoke to executive, who then transferred the call to the CUSTOMER LOYALTY DEPT. Officer - Suruchi Shrivastva who stated that i need to return the Welcome Kit and then only upon it the money in FULL i.e. Rs.1999=00 would be refunded.

    THIS WAS MAILED TO ME ON 30TH APRIL WHEN I CANCELLED IT ON 24TH APRIL WITH THE ABN AMRO CUST CARE EXEC.

    Now, after that i sent the card through DTDC:

    But they lost it during transit.

    Thereafter, i again contacted the ABN AMRO through mail and phone and the following resolution i received from them:-

    “Dear Mr. Ahuja,

    This is with reference to your email dated May 20, 2009.
    We would like to inform you that as per our records, the Dining Plus card has been delivered to your mailing address on April 30, 2008.
    We regret we are unable to reverse the offer fee of Rs.1999.00 without receipt of the Dining Plus card. Therefore, we request you to pay as per the statement to avoid any accrual of charges on your card account.
    You may also quote the reference number [protected], in case you need any further clarification on the above resolution.

    Please feel free to write back to us for any further clarifications in this regard or call our 24-hour Bank by Phone service in your city and our executive will be glad to assist you.

      hi after my transaction its been 3 months initially they not started sending me the statement then in fear i have deposited the first month bill in drop box with that after five months abn amro telling check is not in correct ways signed and by that time started charging interest witha all my complaints number they are telling its not correct refrence number . i am asking for a settelement but bank is chaging me the additional interest which i am not liable to pay even so many times they calling and giving me some bad remarks in phone by the agaents and even i will cal them they will say we will keep on charging interest!

      please advice

          Hi,

          With reference to above mentioned add on card no which is issued in the name of my father Mr.Sunder Hukumchand, some fraudulent transaction has taken place on the card on 12Feb'09 for Rs.110/- (Automobile Reso)
          13Feb'09 for Rs.36460/- (Sunrise Technology).

          I've blocked the card immediately i got call from Noida off of your bank on 13th Feb'09 at 5pm.

          I've few queries pertaining to the card, which are as follows,

          1.Along with card i received letter that card needs to be activated before use by calling ABN AMRO bank.How was then the card misused.

          2.I received the call from the bank on 13/02/09 but as per the statement first traction was done on 12/02/09 on the deactivated card.How was it done.

          I've raised the dispute (Ref.No.[protected] dt.13/02/09) on phone but it's nowhere mentioned in the statement.

          Kindly look into the matter & resolve the issue.

          Credit Card — Creadit card /status nor received yet

          i was apply for creadit card in Oct-08, nither creadit card nor any information regarding the same got yet.

          pls give reason as soon possible.

          Credit Card — Fraudulence of ABN AMRO BANK

          Hi Sir,

          Problem Started:-
          For the card number 5425 **** **** 2508, in the month of March 2009 I received statement for 9000+ instead of Rs. 4600;
          I informed it to bank through phone banking.
          They agreed that time and asked me to Waite till the next statement by paying the minimum amount Rs 600 (but I payed Rs.1000), but in the next statement it was same amount with added interest of Rs. 9000+.
          This time when I call bank they told that this month lot already sent, so next month I will be receiving the correct bill so I waited for next month by paying Rs.1000 again as a minimum amount. From April till January 2010 every month I paid Rs.1000. to resole this confusion.
          After January, I have not paid for February and March.

          To get Correct statement from ABN AMRO bank, and also to get settlement I have paid Rs. 11,000 month on month.
          But now Bank is asking me to pay Rs.15, 000+.
          Because of banks negligence it got added 6000+ in my card spend and now they are adding interest on top of that. Daily they are torturing with phone calls
          I am receiving calls from
          Mr. SAM, Kokila, Gopinath, Raj, Praveen.

            Sir,
            I had taken a loan of Rs.30000.0 from ABN Amro Bank in the month of March 06 against my credit card no.[protected] with EMI of Rs.1542.00 for 36 months. It may please be noted that the above loan was fully prepaid in the month of March 07. After paying the above amount the bank started to send me statements showing outstanding amounts as minus till Dec.07. It shocking to note that from Jan 08 onward they have again started sending statements showing outstanding. In my opinion it is a matter of sheer harrassment of consumer on the part of Bank. Please look in to the matter. In case you require any documentary evidences please write back and help me out to settle the issue.

              Sub:- Harassment personally & phone calls by bank employees

              Sir/madam,

              I took a loan of Rs 2, 82, 560/- in July 2006 & gave all installments in time i.e 10648/- each month. afterword this loan is top up by bank under loan a/c no.9359705 after top up loan a/c no.9420262 & paid me 90, 654/- after deduction about Rs. 14595/- from my loan amount in the shape of misc.charges, intrest, processing charges etc.etc. and then i also paid the refund installment of Rs.10498/- well in time. Due to kidney problem(i.e swelling on whole body) I was admitted to the Hospital and could not pay the instalment, so, they reduced the installment amount to Rs.7547/-. That also I gave them timely. Due to my kidney problem i spent money in medicine/ hospital/ medical tests. I am not in position to pay more in the form of installment. Uptill date i paid over 220000/- in the shape of installment. This time i am in critical position due to cronical disease.I already spent Rs.3, 50000/- on my treatment uptill date.
              My monthly net salary is only 15000/- pm most part of salary is spend in medicine/medical test and admission of hospital repeated in three to four time in a month for injectioning & other treatment.

              The agent of the bank commit the rate of interest i.e 18% reducing balance but bank charged 21% pa. To this effect, i sent email as well as phoned to bank but bank did not responded any time.but I paid bank installments well in time.In regard of interest I request to the bank employees but they had no response to me for this interest.
              Apart form the above past history is goes like this - I have been requesting since May'09 ABN Amro Bank collection executive for telling us my loan amount outstanding is around Rs.270000/-.Every time they use to say your loan outstanding is always Rs.270000/- I told to executive to satelle my loan in short payment and one payment on principal outstanding amount . Executive says that your outstanding is Rs.270000 not possible in short payment.
              Now they required full amount immediately and threatening me and my family members that we shall catch you & beat you up or get punished by police or in the court of law & they misbehaved with my family members in my house. In this regard i already contacted to customer care on phone but no response. one employee of bank Mr. gaurav from chandigarh office threatened now & then & says that more than 3 lacs still due on your head, we already paid all installments upto April 2009.

              I am single hand earning member of my family and undergoing treatment for kidney disease & not able to pay, now i am not in position to pay more. I request you to settlement for min. principal amount. if they (bank people) harrass me or my family members, i have to knock the doors of consumer court. I request to bank kindly see my problem & settled the case in minimum principal amount.


              I humbly request you to please kindly setelle my loan.

              I says that my condition is not able to give this amount please settled the case on principal amount.

              This is M.R.Ramesh Manohar from chennai. I am a free lancer and doing Personal loan & Business loan to Abn Amro Bank. Recently i had taken a case M/s.Fittness one india Ltd., for Business loan to Abn Amro Bank, usally i ll give all files based on referral scheme to mr.sivaraman who is working in Abn amro bank as a Team Leader. I am also met mr. Arunkumar (Unit Manager) and Mr.Thiyagarajan( Sales Manager) they are assure to give payout of this case 2% of full amount. So, i gave all documents and disbursed loan amount of Rs.3000000/- (30 lakhs) to M/s.Fittness One India Ltd., (LOAN A/C NO:9497973) on 30/03/2009.

              I am a 52 yrs old man, i am a free lancer, i am not working any concern, i am in being this field past 10 years and my family members, i have 2 children and my wife. first daughter just finished 10th standard. second son is studying 9th standard. in this circumstance, my first daughter is going to 11th standard so, i should pay for admission and school materials and my son also. just imagine how can possible without money, i am a lower middle class person, iam waiting so expectation for this payout. Based on this amount Rs.60000/- i borrowed some money from some people. but still date i am not received any small amount from your guys.

              Last one month mentaly i am disappointed, because of your guys. i asked Mr.Sivaraman, he said, he is also not get salary last 2 months. i am so suffered from your bank employees. i met so many times alongwith my wife mr. Thiyagarajan, he is promising this day, that day but, we were so suffered, he is continuously lies. i sent alot of sms to Mr.Thiyagarajan, he replied but he never do any steps still date, i kept his sms in my mobile what he sent sms to me, and he said Mr. Ajith Veda( Regional Sales Manager) not approve your payout, he blames Ajith Veda, i sent alot of sms to Mr.Ajith veda, he is no response, Sir/madam, i couldnt tell my situation i am so critical position. onething in ur mind, i am not a begger, i am not asking begging. i am asking my money thatsall.

              I hope you do favour to me, i expect one or two days, my problem will slove. otherwise If any happens to me bank will bear to the all. (I think, dont to spoil your bank name who are 2 guys cheating me.(Mr.Thiyagarajan& mr.AjithVeda)

              I would like to say... that ABN amro bank settles accounts in 20% also... in case you have taken loan of 100000.00 & you have paid bank 10 installemnts... say Rs. 30000.00 (with Interest) your balance is 700000.00 u can setlle your account in 20% only... try i[censored] dont believe...

                I Soumen Kayal opened a fixed deposit A/c with your bank on 10th march
                2009. Your bank issued me a credit card [protected] with limit of
                Rs. 86000 . on 29th of April 2009 your bank debited Rs. 5000 by MMT money
                Saver fee with my any prior permission . I surprised how could you debit any
                Amount from my credit card A/C without my knowledge .

                However my request to you kindly revert Rs. 5000 by mmt money saver
                Fee from my card as early as possible.

                ABN AMRO CC Dept has levied misc charges, there is a fault of bank in clearing the cheque (credited after 6 days ) and levied late fees and interest.

                pls be careful while dealing with ABN AMRO BANK CC.

                ABN AMRO Credit Card — Oriental Express fee debit

                I got a call from where i dont know 2 months back, executive told me about a vacation and the fee will be debited on credit card, he told me that the amount will not be deducted unless my approval. I have not made any approval regarding this still they deducted the amount from my card.

                This cheat behaviour of Bank happens when the user does not use the card for 2 or more months.

                After 4/12/2009 I am not any purchase or use this card, recent I am receive statement I am shocked see the amount due 6780/- please furnish this amount and refund me one payment who’s are received double payment.

                IN THE MONTH OF SEPT'09 I GOT AN MARKETING CALL FROM ABN AMBRO OFFERING ME A PACKAGE OF 4 DAY/5 NIGHT FOR TWO ADULTS AND TWO CHILDEREN UPTO THE AGE OF 12 FOR AN AMOUNT OF RS 4499+ SERVICE TAX AND THE EXECUTIVE DID MENTIONED THAT FIRST OF THE OFFER DOCUMENTS WILL COME TO MY MAILING ADDRESS AND ON ACCEPTANCE OF THE OFFER THE AMOUNT SHALL BE BILLED TO ME.

                ON MY SURPRISE IN THE MONTH OF OCT 09 I GOT THE BILL FOR THE SAME OFFER AS I DID NOT ACCEPT THE OFFER I DID NOT PAY THE AMOUNT AND IGNORED THE BILL, SUBSIQUENTLY IN THE MONTH OF NOV I GOT ANOTHER BILL CHARGING ME LATE FEES, AND NON PAYMENT CHARGES, ON MY TELEPHONIC CONTACT WITH THE BANK OFFICIALS AT CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER THEY AGREED TO REMOVE THE LATE FEES CHARGES AND NON PAYMENT CHARGES MORE OVER THEY OFFERED ME THE SAME PACKAGE AT A DISCOUNTED PRICES OF RS 2500/=+ SERVICE TAX WHICH WAS ACCEPTED BY ME AND THE PAYMENT WAS MADE.

                LATER ON I GOT THE VOUCHERS FROM M/S ORIENTAL EXPRESS WHICH STATES THAT THE OFFER IS VALID FOR TWO ADULTS AND A CHILD UPTO THE AGE OF 5.

                SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN COMMUNICATING WITH THE BANK OFFICIALS FOR ADDRESSING OF THE COMPLAINT BUT MORE THEN THREE MONTHS HAVE PASSED AND NO SOLUTION IS FORTHCOMING EVEN THE MESSAGE HAS BEEN SEND TO THEIR NODAL OFFICER BUT NO REPLY.

                I AM REPRODUCING THE COMMUNICATIONS WHAT I HAVE HAD WITH THE BANK OFFICIALS FOR YOUR READY REFERANCE, WITH THE REQUEST TO YOU TO PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND ARRANGE FOR EARLY SOL. FOR THE PROBLEM CREATED BY BANK'S MARKETING TEAM.

                I HOPE YOU WILL APPREICATE THAT THE OFFER WAS GIVEN TO ME FOR FOUR NIGHTS / FIVE DAYS AT A TOTAL COST OF RS 2500+ SERVICE TAX AND YOU EXPACT ME TO PAY RS 3200+ FOR AN EXTRA BED, DO YOU THINK IS IT JUSTIFIED, THAT I WILL HAVE TO SUFFER FOR THE MISTAKES DONE BY YOUR MARKETING OFFICIALS.

                I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS TO BE DONE I HAVE ALREADY WASTED LOT OF MY WORKING TIME IN MAKING TELEPHONIC CALLS TO YOU AND NUMEROUS E-MAILS TO YOU.

                  Dear Sir/Madam,

                  I, Mr.Chanchal Roy, with deep gratitude stating that I do hold a credit card of ABN Amro bank ([protected]). And I pay the EMI regularly. As on today my total outstanding is Rs35000/-(approx), which is being paid by me through monthly EMI. But this month I am having some personal problem and thus I would not be able to pay the amount. For that reason bank’s collection people started calling in my home asking for the minimum amount(Rs1700/-). One of the agents named Mr. Rahul called me today evening from Noida asking for the minimum EMI amount. I told him about my personal problem but suddenly he started abusing my son and me and he behaves very ill. Again he and his superior threatened me that within 2 days I have to go to address no-17, Rashbehari Avenue, Kolkata-700019 to pay the amount. Not only that but also he had transferred the line to the legal department to Mr. Rajiv Malhotra, their advocate. He offered me to go for settlement option (6 installments, each of Rs2783/- pm), again he gave me time to pay the money till 22nd of this month and told to lodge a complaint against the person.
                  This time I am really very serious and I want to take a drastic step against the person and the bank. Bank should know that its’ people had begged to me for buying a credit card, and I was not the person who begged for the card.
                  Now, I need to know only few things.

                  1. Is the outstanding amount is more precious than my family’s life?
                  2. As per my knowledge, the bank will charge more if I cannot pay within the due date, then why they are harassing my family and abused my kid?

                  Abn amro is known for their foul practices, banks of this repute but having this kind of an attitute is totally incorrigible, i think a compensation can be claimed for mental cruelty !

                    I am a ABN AMRO Bank card holder with card No.[protected] / [protected] i am not using this card last 2 to 3 years i stop to used the said card when it come into my notice that thare are so many unnecessary charged imposed in to my credit card bill. I all ready paid


                    There after so many calls and threaten sent to me on my office phone and every month coming the person and collected minimum amount and tell us next month i give you settlement letter but steel not settle my A/c or not given any letter to me. Now a legal notice vide ref. No.____________________

                    was sent to me for payment of Rs.15000 Here i want to know that why I will pay the said amount when i donot use that amount please register my complaint and take necessary action immediately.

                      Hi,
                      Four years back I has taken a home loan from ABN AMRO bank at the ten floating rate of 7.75%. The rate was suppossed to be fixed for five years and after 5 years the floating rate prevailing at the time will be applicable. We hadnt done the full disbursement of the loan amount, and whenever the lending rates changed (read increased), a weighted average was applicable for us. Currently the weighted average intetest rate for my loan is 10.42%. Recently there has been a series of reduction of lending rates by the RBI. But ABN Amro bank is not passing on this advantage to us. They are giving various excuses like the loan is fixed for five years, etc. And when we questioned them on the weighted average rate that was being charged all these years they are now coming up with the excuse that they no longer have fixed loans so the reduction in rates is not applicable to us.
                      Is there anybody else facing this similar issue? Can I complain to anybody about their misbehaviours?

                      Absolutely, i agree with you. when RBI has reduced the rates, ABN AMRO has not passed even a single ruppee advantage to the customer. If you check today's scenario, they lead the pack of taking high interest in home loan scenario

                        Hi,

                        I am an existing ABN AMRO home loan customer. My current home loan interest rate is 13% ( for more than a year ). Even though RBI has announced that interest rates will be reduced further. ABN AMRO is not reducing it. When RBI has increased they have immmediately increased but when it is reduced they are not doing. We the common people are suffering with the interest rates. I am not sure RBI is aware of this.

                          Dear Sir / Madam

                          I'm Dr. Jitesh Narayan P Iyer, and am holding an account with the Gurgaon Branch of ABN AMRO Bank for the last 1.5 years.My account no. is 1374042.
                          I have two complaints which have not been redressed for quite some time now.

                          1. I'm unable to generate my transaction password online

                          I first reported this problem more than 5 months ago, by personally visiting the branch and talking to the person manning the counter there. (Gurgaon Branch). She assured me of a resolution within a week and generated a new transaction password and had it couriered to me.
                          But till date, the problem is not resolved and I'm still unable to generate transaction password online.
                          I more recently complained to your phone helpdesk, and the lady there refused to believe my complaint and insisted again and again that I should try and properly feed my data, and generate my transaction password online.

                          2. I'd asked for a transaction password to be couriered to me, and this still not reached me. Its more than 45 days since my request

                          Meanwhile, I once again, for some reason, entered my password incorrectly and it got locked. And as I was unable to generate it online, I called up helpdesk and registered the complaint (No. 83217) on 18th March 2009. I was assured the password would be couriered to my registered address in three working days.
                          On the third day, the courier guy calls me up regarding the delivery and I find that it has been addressed to my OLD address, and not my current registered address. The courier gets returned to the bank. I once again called up customer care and informed them to re-send it to my registered address, which was confirmed over the phone, again with an assurance I'll receive the password in three working days. Its more than 30 days now and I'm still waiting for the password.

                          In between I'd once again called up helpdesk to remind them of the issue, and the lady there asked me to generate the transaction password online, and refused to believe me when I said I'm unable to do so.

                          I've been unable to use Netbanking for the past more than a month and find talking to your helpdesk people to be of no help, as they refuse to even acknowledge that I'm facing a problem, let alone try to resolve it.

                          Mailing to you is my last resort. I'm tired to repeating the whole story each time to different customer care persons. I guess if you too cant help me, I'll have to stop using Net baking from ABN AMRO altogether and move to more customer responsive banks.

                          Thanks and hoping that BOTH my problems will get resolved in the next three working days.

                              I am an existing customer of ABN AMRO Bank with saving account .
                              I was contacted by yourABN AMRO bank executives for issuance of credit card against a fix deposit to which I agreed. I was told that I will be issued a credit card within seven days of creation of the fixed deposit and the fixed deposit will be created within three days of the date of the cheque.
                              I had given all the documents required along with the completed application form on 4th of March 2009 to one of banks exective with a post dated cheque of INR 25, 000 dated as of 9th March 2009.
                              The FD was created on 26th March 2009 after my repeated complaints, to which one of your executives Mr. Amar Thomas responded, as was due to a some signature issue which has now been settled.
                              Now on 18th of April i was inforemd that i will not be issued a credit card without any reason, on repeated requests they are not giving me a reason.
                              I woudl like to put fwd that i made a fixed deposit with ABN AMRO just for the reason that i will surely be issued a credit card, all the bank exective assured me with that. And at the end of it they are niot ready to give me a reason.
                              I m thinking now of prceeding with the Banking Ombudsmen with the same but for that i ve to wait for 30 days.

                              This is India my friend... a country made up of people who never do what they say they will do. This is why India is a third world country. Sorry to say but there is no such things as morals or ethics in this country.
                              I hold an ABN AMRO Bank Titanium Credit Card. This credit card was issued against a fixed deposit that I placed with your bank. In March 2009, Mr. Abhishek Pandey (Sr. Associate Relationship Manager - Premium Channel Cosumer Banking) came to my residence and collected my documents and cheque of Rs. 46, 000. He told me that I have to place a fixed deposit either for 90 days at the rate of 6.5% interest or 99 days at the rate of 8.5% interest and after 5 working days, I would receive the credit card. He also told me that after the fixed deposit matures, I can request for a pay order of my principal amount and interest and continue using the credit card provided I have not defaulted on any payments. I opted for 99 days at the rate of 8.5% interest. A week after the cheque was cleared there was no sign of the fixed deposit or the credit card or of Mr. Abhishek Pandey. Mr. Pandey did not even answer any of my phone calls. After that I was contacted by Mr. Amar Thomas who is the head of credit cards division for Mumbai who told me that Abhishek had made a mistake and I will get an interest of 6.5%. Mr. Amar Thomas also told me that the low rate of interest was only a matter of 3 months and after that I can withdraw the fixed deposit if I wanted to. Inspite of a mistake committed by an executive from your bank, I agreed to place the fixed deposit at a lower rate of interest that promised hoping to have a good relationship with the bank. I received the card 26 days later.

                              My fixed deposit matured on 19-06-09 and I did not want to renew the fixed deposit. However, when I called up the customer care, I was told that maturity instructions can be changed only by visiting the branch. I then received a call from the bank informing me that I have to renew the fixed deposit if I want to continue using the credit card. If this was the case then why did Mr. Abhishek Pandey and Mr. Amar Thomas tell me that I could withdraw the principal amount and interest at the end of the maturity period? If the bank changed the changed the terms and condition, then the bank should have informed me about the same.

                              I am using the credit card since a year now and have not defaulted on any payments. Even though I have a good credit rating the bank says I cannot convert my secured credit card into an unsecured credit card. The rate of interest is paltry.

                                I am not receiving my physical statements from May 2008, I have lodged a call for the same and after that, and I have still not received any physical statement. I have only checked my statement on your website and after getting the sms on my mobile, I am paying my bill amount before the bill date.
                                B ut on 15/04/2009 when I have checked my statement on website I get a extra amount of rs 75 debited in my statement with out any information after that, I have make a call to your credit card department after 25 minuets a person pick my call and said to me that regarding the charges you have received the letter in January and if you not willing to get the extra statement you have to make the call to call center if for not obtain the said services by you, not doing the same this is your fault chargers are not reversed in any case and you can not do any think, for doing you have to write a letter to bank.
                                By getting this revert from your extreme organization I have get very match satisfied from your services and want to inform you that this is only the prize of loyal customer towards your organization, only those customers are precious for you who making the call in you call center and making complained against your organization and your services.
                                Now I am making a formal complained that if the extra chares of Rs 75 with service tax is not reversed, I am not going to pay any money to your bank and I am not going to contact your bank.
                                So finally, I am also your precious customer, may be as per our criteria.
                                If they required any information from my side feel, free to contact me…

                                  Dear sir/ Madam,
                                  I have a personal loan with ABN amro bank. The account number for same loan is [protected]. The amount of the loan is 2, 00, 000. Rs. They deducted the processing fee and service tax according to the talk on phone. The intrest rate of the loan is 21.96 % reducing, and tenueer is 48 months and EMI of the same loan is Rs. 6532 which include the premium for the insurance of the loan. Initially I was disaggre for this than i aggre to pay Rs. 6532 as EMI which include premium also. Now in each statement they club the insurance amount of Rs. 7450 with loan principle amount and make the principle amount of Rs 2, 07, 450. And every month the deduct the principle outstanding from 2, 07, 450 rather than from original principle amount of Rs.2, 00, 000. So this will attrack more money while I will go for preclouser of the same loan.
                                  So, Sir please instruct the bank and guide them the correct way to deal with customer.

                                      1. Today (18.4.2008)i received phone call around six to seven times from Mr. Yaspal choudhary ([protected]). He said that he is in legal department(Advocate) of ABN AMRO Bank.

                                      2. As per him i have a credit card (Card No. [protected]) of ABN AMRO Bank & Due amount of the same card is Rs. 35000/- (Rupees Thirty Five Thousand).

                                      3. Mr. Yashpal suggested me to pay Rs. 25000/- till 3:00 PM of 18.4.2008 instead of Rs. 35000/- as a sattlement money.Other wise he will issue warrant against me.

                                      4. But as per my knowledge i have not any credit card of ABN AMRO Bank, If have i never used the card.
                                      5. I called to ABN AMRO Bank Customer Care No.[protected] at Luknow. They confirm that only my name is matching with card detail available with bank record.

                                      5. I again called to another customer care No. [protected] at rajasthan. They also confirm that only my name is matching with their record, My address phone no, mob no., PAN is not matching with their records.

                                      I request you to look in to the matter & do needful.

                                      As I was credit card holder of ABN AMRO bank for last 3 year.
                                      In past one year, I have made some purchase and droped my cheque against the purchase made but the due to the fault of the local collection agent, my cheque was present late. So the bank started charging late fees, other taxes, etc.

                                      I have made purchase after that and the bank regularly started to charge late fees taxes, etc. which is now approx. Rs. 8000.
                                      I requested various times to bank for corrections and finally discontinue servies and I cut across the card and deposited to ABN AMRO Drop box but still I am regularly listening various threats, etc.
                                      In Dec. the banks DSa at Lucknow came to me and asked that if I give Rs. 250. then he will finally close tha account. but it could not...
                                      Today, I have listen a threat[protected] from a person from Delhi saying that he is speaking on behalf of bank and trying to push me deposit the money. and also threatening that If i donot deposit, he will go to court and will file a case.
                                      Please help me, As I have all communication, which I have made to ABN AMRO bank from making correction in my statements to closing my account... but all are humilitating.

                                      I was charged an amount of Rs.15, 000 on my ABN AMRO Credit card. Once the manager visited and told me benefits of the card. Later after filling up application form I requested him to convey the message and other details before charging the amount. But nothing no statement/no correspondence was received.And finally I was charged .Now I am in no position to pay the amount. And keeping in view of the Economical Crisis all banks will take advantage and squeeze the amounts in this way from common man. All this type of banks must be banned once for all. Creating big nuisance and mental tension. It was big mistake taking ABN AMRO Credit card. Folks whoever reads this message kindly do not take ABN AMRO bank Credit card. I don't know what headache I must face.

                                      I received a phone call from abn amro bank and they offered me to issue a credit card, i gave them all my details & send an executive to my residence to collect all the documents, my pan card, my income statement, my existing credit card copy, etc. later on i recieved a sms that ur credit card is in process & will be dispatched within 2 weeks. This happened 2 months before, & I m still awaiting to receive my credit card. I m complaining about this because same thing has happened twice, early also one person came & he collected all the data from me & since then no information from them. Kindly check with this bank, are they playing the documents.
                                      My Credit card no. is [protected]. ABN AMRO BANK has been sending me bills of offers of 'Premier Club' and 'Air tickets coupons'. I had not accepted those offers. But still ABN AMRO CREDIT CARD employees are asking for money on telephone. Initially they had sent bills of Re8800/=. Now they have sent SMS claiming amount Re13435.91/=
                                      I may file a case against the bank for mental torture and extortion if settlement for no additional payment from my side. I have already paid Re1200/= extra as 'late fee' for unaccepted offer.
                                      This is in continuation of my previous complaint in which I had not specified the reason of paying ‘late fees of Re1200/=.That fee was paid by mistaking it for another payment of ICICI Lombard policy. After paying due premium on time, even when I got another late fees in statement, I was shocked to learn that the fee was for offer of ‘Premium club’ and ‘Air tickets scheme’, which I had not accepted. After that, I made full payment of all remaining premiums of my ICICI policy and in that covering letter itself, I applied for termination of business relations with ABN AMRO to that effect. I was then forcefully asked for forgetting about previously paid amount of Rs1200/= as ‘Late fee’ for unaccepted offer. I had to forget about that and I was assured by Delhi authority from ‘disputes section’ that my Rs8800 /= payment was going to be reversed. But it was not reversed. ABN AMRO BANK is trying to extract more and more money from me forcefully by applying ‘Pressurization mails tactics’.
                                      I wonder how RESERVE BANK has allowed to charge bills for unaccepted offers and moreover, late fees on that. I have not signed any written consent to offers of 'Premier Club' and 'Air tickets coupons'. ABN AMRO DELHI employees had been repeatedly pestering me to accept offer. Telephonic offers may result into distorted or ‘wrong’ communication therefore, it should not be deemed as ‘consent for offer’. I had even refused such verbal offers many times.
                                      I am going to expect either judicial inquiry of the bank to know how much money ABN AMRO had collected from people by using abusive language extortion technique or Re one core as a compensation for mental torture. This is because I have full right to raise doubt against ABN AMRO employees that they might have collected more than cores of Rupees from innocent people by using abusive language. ABN amro employee has used abusive language with me on telephone to extort money from me. The person could not give justification why I was supposed to pay.
                                      British arrived in India with reason of trade and that resulted in our slavery. ABN AMRO is operating in India to collect extortion money from middle class people in the name of business which will also result in slavery of middle class people.
                                      Immediate action is required with complete refund of my 1200 Rupees or else I will not be responsible for the damage of ABN AMRO image in news papers after my legal action. I will not be responsible of business damage of ABN AMRO because of this complaint because this complaint is being launched after loosing faith in customer’s right to refuse unacceptable offers.

                                      ABN AMRO Bank — Asking for card payment and threaten to file a case even without using their credit card

                                      This is Shailesh Jain. I was holding an ABN AMRO Credit Card and its expired long back (valid from 07/05 to 07/07).
                                      Surprisingly today on 05-Mar-09 I have got the call from Mumbai (ph no.[protected].
                                      One of executive girl was on call and she was directly saying to me is that within 2 days we are going to file a case against you because you have not paid the money to the bank.
                                      I got totally surprised and shocked because I have not even activated and not even used the ABN AMRO credit card single time and it was expired already on 07/07 as well. Then how come ABN AMRO is asking for payment otherwise case against me.
                                      I had never got any call from ABN AMRO bank before and suddenly one day they are calling in such manner.
                                      I would request RBI to look over the issue and take some action against ABN AMRO executives so that consumer wouldn’t suffer from such kind of threaten call which are coming from banks.

                                      I am in teaching profession for the last 30 years continues .Some executives came to our school to give some corporate credit cards to teachers from ABN AMRO BANK in 2005 .Earlier we thought that its a good opportunity to avail given by the bank but later on we found out that there was no outlet where we could easily deposit the maney spend by credit card .Some of the teachers returned the card without using it .I used it and then wanted to pay back the amount and i found difficulty .I made some phone calls to the main office and then they sent me an executive who made a settlement with me waving off my panelty amount .Now i have applied a loan from the other bank and they said that your cibil report is showing low rating .Yesterday i called up the ABNAMRO BANK IN MUMBAI and the officer said that there are no dues left against u as it was a settlement .I havnt bought any other credit card in my life time except only from ABNAMRO BANK.I have sent them an E mail also regarding this .My track record is very positive from where i want to avail the loan facility now.MY E MAIL ADD.                                       Hi all,

                                      I decided to close an ABN Amro bank credit card, i have enclosed cheque amount 2557/- and along with abn amro crdit card add-on, i noticed the amount not processed more than a week, when i checked my cheque status in HDFC bank personal account that cheque got bounced.

                                      ABN and HDFC have some mutual agreements, that might lead my cheque bounces due to signature miss match. Past few years my cheque never bounced.

                                      Since i am not using the Master card last six month and i made request to deliver a new card, that request not handled promptly and i didnt received a new card till now.


                                      I called customer care person, they roughly said, you should pay the Fine charges then only i will response your queries.

                                      Note for closing crdit card: Pay all outstanding amount and then raise an alarm to close credit account request. Becarefully handle this situation, otherwise they will plan to bounce your cheque and generating some fine amounts.

                                      Its financial meltdown, we all are aware, but bank making good Gains in this period...

                                      i was informed by ABN AMRO bank that on my request a insurance policy was issued to me, i immediately contacted the bank that i do not need the policy, i have been getting bills asking me to pay cancellation charges and other charges.
                                      i was informed that i had said yes to a tele caller, but my repeated calls and mails to them and the fact that the insurance policy was cancelled, seems irrelevant.
                                      the bank wants me to pay a sum of rupees 1700+ which i have refused.

                                      I had been issued a ABN AMRO gold card last year some time which i could only twice. I used to book a movie ticket for Rs 200 and forgot to pay the bill that month and the next month i shopped for Rs 40, 000, a gold card could accomodate that. now when i received the bill for that month, there was a late payment charge for initial Rs 200 and interest on the entire amount -Rs 40200. i spoke to the customer care and she said that the late payment and interest would be waived off and i have to only pay about Rs 40, 400 inclusive of everything. but every since every month i receive the statement with the interest and late payment charges. i did call up the bank after that as well to let them know about it but that never materialized.
                                      Now i have been harassed by calls demanding the money and talking rudely over the phone asking for money to be paid. i offered that since i wont pay the total amount which has become Rs 5000 approx. since the amount has acumulated because the bank did not waive the amount when we last spoke, i would be able to pay Rs 1000 maximum as settlement in which the person said dont want that and just kept arguring.

                                      This is regarding bank's claim of 25000/- Rs., which as per their records, is outstanding against me.However, I have never used the bank's credit card not even once and in fact I have destroyed the credit card long back.

                                      Today, I have received call from Bank threatening me to settle the above mentioned amount or else face legal action. I called up their customer relationship manager Mr. Rishabh (Mobile no. [protected]) but he talked in very indecent manner.

                                      I want raise this a complaint against the bank for mentally harassing me.

                                      Sir in the year 2006 I was offered this credit card by telemarketing guy of your bank and I was told that this card is absolutely free and no charge like joining fee or annual fee will be charged. But after receiving this card and on the first stated I was charged of joining fee and taxes. So I called your bank and asked them to discontinue my credit card I was asked to return the cards back by cutting it in four parts which I did. After that I use to still get the monthly statement so I again request to your bank as I was not using by credit card as I was discontinue . I was promised that it will stop and no dues were left. But now after 3 year I have come to know from cibil that I have some outstanding with your bank on my above credit card. So on 18/11/09 request no.[protected] to send my my latest statement as I have not got the statement for last two year and even request your executive to settle down my due so that I can payoff and have a n.o.c. from your bank to submit to cibil. I was told that I will receive a call in next four day. I waited for four day and as I didn’t receive any call I called back o 23/11/09 request no.22428451 I was told the same thing to wait for four day. But I didn’t revise any call .than I request again on 27/11/2009 but same result so I called today i.e. 4/12/2009 request no. [protected] and I have been asked to wait for two more days for the phone call. I will request please. Please let this be the last time. I want to settle my due as soon as possible so that I can get an n.o.c. from your bank. So that I can have clear statement with cibil.

                                      An unauthorized payment was made on my credit card and the same was reported to bank the same day when i recieved mail for verification from ABN AMRO bank, Talked directly to Customer care and Bank manager , from the discussion with bank there was no action taken by bank to stop payment. Later the bank officials are continuously calling for recovery. It looked this is a common practice for ABN AMRO as there are several cases where they illegal payment is made to merchant and customer of bank is forced to pay for wrong transaction.


                                      The Bank process is always on disputes several times, My recommendation with All IT Companies to stop the buisness relations with such banks where the bank authorities are not taking there customers on proirity.

                                      I will try to bring more cases infornt on plate, and my request to orgainizations haivng the salaried account tie ups ABN Amro to stop such kind buisness any save there Employees with frudlent behaviour of this bank and bank employees.

                                      The Bank Employees are not well educated , there are always a local language abuses from Cutomer Care also.

                                      today i am droping a cheque of Rs. 700/- bearing no. 300395 of ICICI bank Ltd dated. 03/08/07 for full & final Payment of mu principal amount .

                                      apart from this amount i am not going to pay any amounts whichever you have debited by either any interest or charges.

                                      as i had already told to you for Block the card is not Blocked please Block with immediate effect.

                                      Sir This is regarding my credit which I have not at all used and they are harrassing me over phone and even their execuitve had come to my place asking to pay Rs.4500/- odd for the payment made. When I showed them the unused card they said that they have my name in defaulters list and already purchases amounting the same had been made. For over a few months they got back saying ok we will check out. Since last week again they are making calls and asking me to pay and they say it MUST be paid or then they will file case against me??? How can I pay when I habe not at all used the card. Even I had written to them 2 yrs back chennai and mumbai office. Now I am getting call from Delhi. Pls advice what to do?? How can I end the matter.

                                      I can understand your problem brother, ABN Amro Bank, which is now the RBS, is the most third class bank as far as Credit Card is concerned, they usually misbehave with the customer and ask money for the settled credit cards only. I myself had faced the same and am aware that they won't listen anything. It is better that you should go to the Consumer Court.

                                        On 11.4.2009, I received a call from Customer Care ABN AMRO credit card department regarding payment of the bills. They asked whether they could send an executive to collect the payment. I told them to come at my residence and collect it, if they can. So yesterday i.e 12.4.2009 a person of the the ABN AMRO bank came to collect the payment at my house. I gave him a cheque and a receipt was issued in lieu thereof. Today at around 10.30 am, i recieved a call from the ABN Amro bank officer namely Mr. prateek, who asked whether i had made the payment or not. I told him that i have issued a cheque, which was collected by their person yesterday. He started asking why did i issued the cheque and why i haven't paid in cash. i asked him what difference does it make. Even other wise i have been paying my bills regularly . and Cheque or cash it doesn't makes a difference. He started shouting at me for no reason. I also scolded him and asked him to talk properly. the matter went out of hand both side abusing each other, ultimately i had to disconnect the phone. Is this customer care or un-care. Once the payment has been made there was no issue of calling. whether i pay in cheque or cash, its my discretion. Who are these people to dictate terms of payment. if i delay the payment they charge penalty, I never asked them not to neither do they show their gratitude by sometime waiving it of. I know it a business and i wont comment on that but some sense needs to be put in them. Customer care as the name suggest should take care of their customers rather then misbehaving with them. Initially i liked the work ethics of ABN bank and thats y i had got this credit card from this bank but now i think every bank has become the same and ABN is not an exception.

                                        Complaint be registered against the misbehaviour of the customer care officer and why do the bank insist on making payment in cash.

                                        Hi,

                                        I hold a credit card from ABN Amro and would like to bring to your notice my experience on how they are treating me in the last 10 days or so.

                                        Let me start from the begining, on June 04, 2008 I dropped a cheque for Rs. 1500 as minimum monthly payent, cheque no. 130810, ICICI Bank cheque. They cashed it and called me again towards the end the month and asked for one more payment, which I did with another ICICI Bank cheque, dated 26/06/2008, chequre no. 130811. The next payment was again on ICICI Bank cheque, no. 130812 dated July 01, 2008.

                                        Now starts the problem, they called me again towards the end of the month and asked me to pay the minimum monthly payment and as per them any amount paid before the monthy statement is generated will not be considered as the payment to-wards MMP. I am not sure if this is right. Even if that is the case, they do not have any clue abt my cheque no. 130812 and as per my bank the cheque has been cleared.

                                        I would have received atleast 6 calls in the last one week, sometimes from a Delhi number and sometimes for a Chennai number. Everytime I have provided them with the cheque details and I even called up my bank and thats when I found that my cheque had already cleared.

                                        Today (August 20, 2008), I received a call from[protected]ABN Amro Nungambakkam branch) and a lady claiming herself to be an employee of ABN Amro informed me that the 'HSBC' cheque for 'Rs. 2000' is still not reflecting for them. When I tried correcting her she turned very rude on the phone. I had to disconnect the line unable to take anymore of it. God knows where they get these kind of people from, it made me wonder if they have a fowl-language specialists team (even if a lady uses that kind of language, its still harassing, right? or is that exempted under some kind of reservation for women?)

                                        While I was expecting an apology from them, I was being harassed on the phone and that too by a lady. I had emailed them on the 18th and I still haven't received even a courtesy reply.

                                        and yeah, I have promptly received their monthly statement showing a late fee of Rs. 650 to be paid by me.

                                        Am I supposed to take every crap that they throw at me and still keep paying?

                                        This is regarding my credit card which i hold from ABM AMRO Bank. My Credit card expired on Nov 2008. Since then i have been trying to get my credit card reissued from ABN AMRO Bank but no one is helping regarding the same. I have a certain amount of balance payment to be made to Bank. Whenever they have asked me to do the payments i have always done regularly. On the Month of January 09 i spoke to one of the assocaites from customer care he told me that i will receive a call fro customer care for verification of my identity. I got the verification call that particular employee told me that i will receive the Cards within next 10 business working days. Today its the month of May 09 i have still not received the card only these Customer Care associates have been giving me just Service request numbers every time i call. One of the customer care associate told me that they had send the card to my residential address. And it seems that my brother told them that i have gone out for some days. I am the only child in my family. This is disgusting and pathetic reasons the Bank is giving me for not giving my card bac to me.

                                        Being such a reputed bank, this kind ofsilence and lethorgic attitudeis reallyupsetting me.

                                        I had an outstanding of Rs 52339.76 in which i have made one payment of Rs 5000/- cheque vide receipt No.DESERC 0518 dated 22.04.09 and for the balance negotiated and approved for Rs 18000/- (refer trail mail)
                                        I have settled as per the negotiation and deadline given, the amount of RS 18000/- cash vide receipt no BAGEMI 32573 DATED 27.06.09. But till date i havenot received theclosure letter.

                                        Kindly arrange to release the closure letterstating the myaccount has been zeroised as confirmed over phone and mail.

                                        Anticipating early response and closure letter at the earliest.

                                        Hi i m a frequent shopper from ABN AMRO bank Credit card...but this time i ve never had such a bad experience from this bank... I deposited a cheque on 15th july'09 and it took 10 days to clear it...the very 5th next day i deposited one more cheque to the bank coz the previous one was not cleared til that time ...later on 10th july'09 i had my first cheque clear ... so obviously i cancelled the second cheque i deposited ...now after getting the statement of my account i got 1. late fees and then stop payment penalty...
                                        why the hell shuold i pay both penalty when it is a Bank mistake...
                                        they took 10 days to clear local cheque...its not even out sation cheque...
                                        I m not going to pay them this as well as the rest of the paymnet i have used after that ... this is such a pathetic service i have ever got from ABN AMRO BANK...

                                        This is regarding a credit card I had from ABN AMRO BANK CREDIT CARD . .Due to some unavoidable situation I couldn't make few payments to this bank against
                                        My credit card. Because I was suffering from my spinal problem that time.
                                        I cannot move here and there .my left leg stop working. After operation
                                        Doctor suggests me to complete bed rest for 8 month. So I resign my job there and take rest.
                                        When your company collection executive comes for payment I have money I will pay them.
                                        But after few months I finish my money coz of not working.
                                        So I told them to give me few time for start work and earn money. So I pay your money as soon as possible.
                                        but your collection executive always come at my home and told me i[censored] have no money for pay bill u left this house soon .
                                        So after little time I decide to left this house and back my hometown. Now I am ok and start work again so I want to pay my debt and settled my card soon.
                                        few days before your collection department call me, I m now in legal .so I want to know that if I m now in legal so I also file my case in consumer forum or I can settled my card in installment.
                                        Tell me what is the better way to settle my card for future relation with your organization.
                                        This time I earn only Rs.8000.00 ( Rs. eight thousand only )by privet tuition’s, I cant pay you full amount .if possible please help me and settled my bill with low amount .
                                        I can pay u in installment as soon as possible by next month.

                                        Yeah i know the ABN AMRO BANK is bull . especially the credit card dept such a hassle one. no body knows nothing. i as having this card for a period of 7 months and before leaving to US i cleared all my outstanding amount. still that holes are saying i am due with some more amount. these bloody buggers dont do anything other than trying to loot from the people. wish i could smack their . such a worst bank ever
