Hi,

I had an ABN amro credit card and was paying my payments on time. Due to my father gertting seriously ill the payments were delayed but were being paid. I had to move to Mumbai from Delhi to take care of my father. In the month of May 2009 my savings account with ABN Amro bank was debited of 9300 and it was shown as Tele transfer to credit card. this was done without me being in the loop. The collection agent of ABN amro did this transfer as she/he knew my acount number of the savings account and they knew the identifiers that would identify me as the customer. I raised this with ABN amro but there was no resolution. Now my account has a LIEN of Rs 50000. My father expired last week and I requested that the LIEN be reuduced to 20000 and that next month they could cut the remainder but no reply. Even though the account was on LIEN, and there were funds in the account the interest/unbilled on my cc account has increased by 1300. This was the bank is blocking my funds in the savings account nad ensuring I cannot use it and at the same time is not transferring it to the cc account and increasing the interest the bank is cheating and robbing customers. The bank officials are not at all cooperative and are not responfing to emails and phone calls. I am harrased and even at this time of a bearevement in my family the bank is not at all sensitive. this is disrespoectful to a customer who has mainted 7 digit balances in the account and also been paying payments of 20000 and more at times.     Dear Sir,

    I Have a ABN AMRO Credit card having no [protected]. I had a settlement of account against my credit card in May 09 wherein i was charged with late fees wherein I was not entitled to pay.

    Bank resolved this issue my clearing all my dues. But while doing that they purged all my reward points in this without letting me the same.

    Now I am continuously in touch with them but they have refused to reverse the same, I feel cheated, as this is no way of recovering any dues.

      It is brought to your kind notice that I was issued a ‘Freedom’ Credit Card No.xxxxxxxxxxxxx valid from 02/04 to 02/06 of your Company under the life time free card scheme i.e. no renewal fee etc. shall be charged on expiry / renewal of the credit card. The card was used by me and payment of dues regarding purchases made by me were cleared in time and no outstanding amount was ever intimated to me regarding any purchases made by me against the card.
      However, very disturbing news was broken to me on 22.08.09 at 1.55 pm from Mobile Phone No.[protected], by one Sh. Varinder Singh, Claiming to be Information Officer of the Jodhpur District Court, who informed me that a complaint has been filed against me by Sh. Raman Bagga, Advocate regarding non payment of outstanding dues qua aforesaid credit card under reference. A Mobile No.[protected] belonging to Sh. Raman Bagga Advocate, was given to by Sh. Varinder Singh, advising me to contact him for withdrawal of the complaint. Accordingly I contacted over telephone on 22.08.09 at 2.01 pm, Sh. Raman Bagga, who introduced himself to be head of north zone of your organisation and informed me that a case under section 420, 406 of the IPC has been filed against me for recovery of amount to the tune of 1.7 lacs in Jodhpur District Court, Rajasthan, Sh. Raman Bagga was very ‘discourteous’ and ‘rude’ in his behaviour and refused to disclose the details about the outstanding amount and details of case filed in court.
      It is pertinent to mention here that I have never used my credit card to the tune of such heavy amount and never kept any amount unpaid for purchases made by me against the credit card under reference. Further, the card was discontinued to be used by me after it expired in Feb, 06. Again, my credit card was renewed by your organisation and a fresh credit card bearing No.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx valid from 01/09 to 02/13 has been issued to me without my requesting for the same, which shows that I do not owe any amount to your organisation. Further, I made a telephone call at your chandigarh helpline number i.e. [protected] on 22.08.09 at 4.18 pm and inquired about the outstanding balance against both the new unsolicited credit card No.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxvalid from 01/09 to 02/13 as well as old credit card No.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx valid from 02/04 to 02/06 under reference I was informed by your executive that amount outstanding against the aforementioned credit cards under reference is ‘NIL’ and she further confirmed that credit card No.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxvalid from 02/04 to 02/06, is being shown as ‘CLOSED’ with no unpaid outstanding amount.
      In connection with the aforementioned it is submitted that it highly unprofessional and unethical on part of your organisation to institute court proceedings against me on false and untruthful grounds without ever sending me any bill qua outstanding payment due and without sending me any legal notice, further how jurisdiction of Ld. District Court Jodhpur, Rajastan has been evoked, when I am residing at Mohali and credit cards were issued to me at Mohali.
      Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, you are requested to kindly look into the matter at the earliest and contact me on my email ID which is [protected]@rediffmail.com.
      You are further requested to instruct Sh. Raman Bagga, Advocate to immediately withdraw the false complaint filed, if any, against me before the Ld. District Court Jodhpur, Rajastan, as alleged by him and inform me immediately. Kindly intimate me the correct position in this regard within next 24 hrs vide return e-mail, however, if due to your false accusations I have to travel to Jodhpur to appear before Ld. District Court Jodhpur, Rajasthan, I shall be constrained to initiate appropriate Criminal / Civil proceeding before the appropriate Court of Law for filing false complaint against me and for other appropriate reasons.

      ABN AMRO Credit Card — false allegation

      Respected Sir,
      I have been working in the financial sector for the last 5 years.So Compared to a novice I very well know that any non payment of my dues would land my name into CIBIL which would affect my financial creditability.
      Inspite of all my payments being done on time i was shocked to see my name appear in cibil.I have had 2 personal loans with citibank both of which I have preclosed before the loan tenure without a single bounce.Currently, i am having a personal loan of ICICI Bank that to is being repaid without a single bounce till date.
      Inspite of all these things, still my name reflects in cibil...?
      The credit card which had a dispute actually belongs to my father, i was only an add on card holder.My fathers card got stolen, following which there were many transaction on the card even before we could block the card.Inspite of not our fault still we agreed for a settlement.Even after settlement, not just my fathers name even my name is reflecting in cibil.
      Kindly advise further.

      loan — false allegation

      My name is Mukul Bhattacharjee P.A.N- AKTPB 5167 C Date Of Birth[protected].Adress Village Majherate,P.O-Aryapara,P.S-Nodakhali,Dist 24 ParganaSouth.
      I never avaled any loan.It is stated that a loan of Rs 77 Thousand RUPEES SEVENTY SEVEN THOUSAND is due from me to a bank NOT KNOWN TO ME.
      I want a confirmation that my CIBIL report is clean and I do not have any loan.
      I never taken any loan from anybody.
      What is going on about CIBIL.99% people in India are yet to know about COMPUTER.99% do not have any idea about CIBIL.I never took any loan.But my name is stated to be appeared in CIBIL.Thus my loan from nationalised bank is stoped.All my properties are mortgaged.My business is seasonal.My business is hampered.
      Why there is no advertisement in news paper?
      Is is joke with poor people

      These B*ts of SC bank and the two jodhpuri guys treated my father like a criminal.

        I’m writing as in I’m actually annoyed with your customer care who are not at all allowing me to close my easy loan account number: *********4016603‏

        I would really appreciate if some sensible person can get into the roots of the problem and give me a decision else I’ve to force myself to look for some other option to get this sorted out. My whole story is as below:



        I took an easy loan for 50K in 2008. I dropped an email in April 2009 fort he closure of this account as I cant afford to take this loan forward and I’m settled abroad. From then on below is the trail of exchanges happened and after paying you guys the money I still have to pay some 5K INR to you guys.

        PS. I’m trying from abroad to reach Rachna menon since last two day. No reply as in to seek help. Today I got an email back from Customer care asking for Money which was marked to Ms. Rachna

          I have a credit card, for which some issue is pending, I have called up the customer care and emailed them numerous time; but I have not, till date received any reply or any solution for my issue.

          My credit card is always received at my company office, and the payment is made from there. My office was shut down in the last 2 weeks in the month of December 2008, due to recession, because of which I was unable to receive my card statement on time, and hence my payment got delayed.

          Due to this, when I received my next statement, my total amount due was 44, 114.22 including late payment charges of Rs 600 + service tax. I called up the customer care and I was told by the executive that he would place a request for the reversal of the same, since it was really out of my hand to have made the payment on time. I was also told that it should be alright if I make a payment for Rs. 43, 482.62 (full amount less the reversals) in 2-3 days, as by that time the reversal will be made. I confirmed with him, if that would lead to interest or late payment again, and I was told that it should not be a problem.

          Then, I got the statement for next month (February), and I did not see any reversal in that, on the contrary, there was another charge of Rs. 798.14 + service tax. I again called up the bank, and was told by the executive that no request was placed for reversal a month back (Which is very surprising because it took my half an hour to get through your automated menu to speak to a human voice, and I was categorically told by your executive he will reverse the amount)… Anyway I was told that this time reversal will be done (for Rs 600 + 798.14 + service tax), and I was given a reference number this time, which was [protected]. After 3 days, I called up the bank, and I was told that my request has been declined.
          My issue is –
          1. If there is a possibility of decline of a reversal request, the bank must train its executives to inform the customers that they are placing a request, and it may or may not be accepted. They should not tell us “reversal will be done”

          2. ABN should provide complete information to your executives. If we are required to pay the full amount and then let the reversal happen in the next statement, we should be told so, and not confused all the time.
          3. I have been putting mails to ABN AMRO Bank since the last 6 months; I have been calling up customer care; I have explained the issue to atleast 20 of your marketing (it is amusing how the call me telling me “you have been a valuable customer and have been holding our card since so many yrs and have had a clean record, so we are offering you a health insurance etc.) /collection executives who call just any time and nothing has still been done about this issue till date.

          4. Now any amount that is coming due to me is the late payment fee + the interest on the same since December. All my purchases have been paid for. Since the late payment fee and interest on the same is occurring in my account again and again due to a delay on ABN AMROs account & ignorance of its executives, it is effectively not due to me.

          So I have been ABN AMRO to please reverse the entire amount that is due to me, or atleast make some authoritative person speak to me, so that I can explain this whole situation in detail, and expect some action on the same. But there has been no action since 8 months now!!!

          I am surprised that an elite bank like ABN AMRO functions like this!!! Our company deals with several banks, but we have never had an issue pending for such a long time with no effort from the Bank’s side to close it! It is a shame.

          Dear Sir,

          This is reference to our Credit Card No.[protected] and at last I am again sending all the details to you and it is humble request to you that look in to the matter very seriously and send me statement of account NIL balance after waving the amount those wrongly charge by your mistake and in this connection I attached all the documents those proved that fault in your end.

          THAT on 02.09.2006 I am booked one ticket for DELHI-MUMBAI-DELHI against which I made the payment of Rs. 15, 950.00 through his ABN AMRO credit card bearing number [protected]

          THAT my I had approached the booking office of Indian Airlines through on-line ticketing and came to know that they have not received the payment against the particular booking and therefore my client had to pay the entire amount through his AMEX credit card bearing number[protected]

          THAT I lodged a complain immediately vide complaint # [protected] dated-20/09/2006 duly acknowledged by your office regarding non-payment and the debit of said as per the credit card statement. But despite of the facts, neither the amount was credited in my account nor any appropriate action has taken. On the contrary, a statement of account has been sent to me showing Rs. 15, 950.00 as an outstanding amount.

          THAT vide your letter # 103/[protected] dated 13.11.2006 you asking me to furnish the details of second charge, whereas my client had furnished all relevant documents along with his letter dated 23.11.2006. It is regret to mention that despite fulfilling all the requirements, the said amount has not been credited and no proper response made by you.

          THAT under these circumstances, I hereby call upon you by way of this letter to credit the said amount (Rs. 15, 950.00) and withdraw the debit balance from the credit card statement within 15 (fifteen) days from the receipt of this letter otherwise failing I will to take legal action against you .

            I am a credit card holder of ABN Amro, my card no is [protected]. i have received a call from them on 11.12.08 for one of their promosonal offer of Good Life program for heritage holyday voucher. To avail that offer i have paid Rs 5562/- from my ICICI bank credit card (card no - [protected]) . after that i have received one kit from them for filling up the form to get the travel voucher. I have also been given one contact no for further correspondance of Plat 5 Consultancy ( Partnar for Good life with ABN AMRO) i.e. [protected] which does not exist. even their head office no [protected] is also not responding ( only recorded information). i have tried to contact heritage holyday in the no[protected]/12/14 but no response from them. Now i am fedup with this, I have also launch a compain with ABN AMRO for geting back my money immediately with complain no.[protected]. i want my money back. please help us.

            I received all the documentations through PLAT5/ABN well in time & completed all the formalities as mentioned in the vouchers.

            This offer enabled me to plan & save my holiday expenses to an extent which made the trip affordable.

            I with the bank for long time & happy with different offers & plans they give time to time. I took some offers which benefit me & i like it very much.

              I wad having a ABN AMRO Credit Card no [protected] in the year 2004. I have made regular payments of all the purchases that I have done on this card.

              Reference to my card statement dated 5/11/2004 the amount due as Rs 24720.50 .
              I spoke to Miss Anjali on the customer care number for reversal of late payment charges of Rs 250 and as per instruction I deposited a Cheque of Rs 24440.40 (after deduction 250 + service tax).

              The charges were reversed but in the month of Jan but in the next statement the charges were not reversed and again they had levied late payment charges.

              Instead of repeated follow up, from that day they are just adding up the amount.

              I have given all the details to them on all occasions and had already requested to them to cancel the card and reverse the amount.

              But their recovery agents call up regularly and use foul and threatening language.

              Due to their this behavior I am really Mentally very upset. this is undue and unethical harrasement from the Bank side.

              ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Harrasment

              Dear Sir,

              I was using the credit card of ABN Amro Bank long back. Since atleast 6 months I paid all the dues of this company(I have all the statements with me.) My payables were nil, so I called on the bank, their customer care no, etc & asked them to discontinue my service & send me a no dues certificate. The bank officials however dillydallied things, eventually I did not follow-up, but neither did I used the card anytime, I received zero bill many times, then two months back, i was shocked to receive a bill statement of Rs. 2000/- towards renewal fee. I immediately tore the card in four peices & wrote to the Bank my non acceptance of the statement, however next month I received yet another bill, only this time the bank was asking me to pay up Rs. 4000/- plus the late fee. Now I got the third bill with Rs. 4000/- plus late fee, total amount now stands at Rs. 5771.76.

              Sir, we are literally being harrassed. I do not owe the bank a single rupee, I dont have the card still my bill is going up & recovery people keep calling my residence.

              Please help me out of this.

              ABN AMRO Bank — Harrasment by credit card billing

              I hold a credit card of ABN AMRO bank.
              This card has never been used and no transaction has been made in it. I recently received a statement asking me to pay the annual charges. I called up the phone and stated that I wont be able to pay the annual charges & so either reverse the charges or cancel the card. I was told that the charges have been reversed and i was given a ref. no. The next month I recd. another statement wherein I was asked to pay a late fee, retail charges & service tax on nil balance amount. I again called up the bank & again I was told to not pay anything and was given a ref. no. Again this month i have recd. a statement wherein all the previous charges have been reversed & again a new set of late fee charges have been levied on no due balance. This time on calling up the bank twice I am being asked to provide a whole lot of details like which phone no. is stated in their records. I have so many phones, how would I remember which no. is stated there. On this i was bluntly told that my request would not be processed although I furnished all the other details to them.
              I being a housewife, do not have the time to call the bank again & again for rectification of their mistake in which also they are not co operating. Please look into the matter.

                Dear Sir,

                With reference to Credit Card Statement dated 12/march/2009., this is to bring to your notice that my credit card account has been debited a sum of Rs 33998.00 on 20/Feb/2009 to IDEA PAYMENT, TATAINDICOM.BILL DESK & RELIANCE INFOCOMM LIMITED Respectively.

                I raised a complaint and informed the bank about this unauthorized transaction on the same day on 20/feb/2009 when i received call from ABN Amro BAnk Around 8.00 am regarding the transaction i denyied the transaction at thesame time, the the executive told me to filled a disput form with in 60 days accordingly i filled a duly filled disputed form and send a scan copy vai E-mail and Fax a copy also.

                After that on regular interval i followed up and the executive told me that reversal will be made after 75 days of filling the disputed form but when i did not recieved the reply from the bank i Did send a mail to the bank and now the bank told me that reversal will not be made .
                My question is this when i told at the same time regarding the fraud transaction why not take immediate acttion on it, also all the payment were made to the telephone service company it was easly tracable by the bank for which number it was paid.
                secondly each month bank charging interest on the same total around Rs. 7000.00 (Approx).

                This is the fact that it is totally a fraud transaction being dumped on me and, therefore, I am not going to pay for this fraud transaction at all. It’s not about Rs 33, 998.00 but it is about the fraud which is not acceptable .

                So you are requested to please send a revised statement with reversal of the above-mentioned amount along with the reversal of financial charges, late fees or any other charges levied due to this transaction .

                As far as my own expenses are concerned, I am going to make the full payment towards them immediately.

                Kindly look into the matter at the earliest and revert back.

                ABN AMRO Bank — Fraud/ Account numbers sms to all

                I have received 2 SMS today from ABN AMRO BANK saying that my account has been debited of thousands of rupees under cheque clearing.

                I got shock of my life and called up bank by phone, they said this was in error and finished the topic.

                I am sure they are also sending similar SMS to others with my bank details...

                Please oppose ABN AMRO BANK. It is not safe

                  Dear Sir.

                  This is regarding to stop the payment of Rs-9900/- which has been charged to me after giveing me wrong information by your agent who offers me health and fitness scheme.

                  On Sunday one executive called me at my home informing me to take the offer - I denied the same informing her that last year also I had taken the offer but it was not given to me and I have to follow up for the same - but at last it was not given till date.

                  On 12/08/09 @ 10.39 Am Harpreet Singh from ABN AMBRO called me on my mobile no [protected] who was talking with me in Punjabi and informed me that your are lucky customer and your name has been selected by luck draw that is the reason he is giveing this offer only to the valuable clients - I informed him the same thing that I don't want any offer because last year I have faced the problem and have grievance reg. the same. He check and confirmed that last year the offer was not dispatched due to incorrect address and the same was returned back. Now the offer is given on the basis of your complaint and grievance to improve our service with the old offer dosmetice and international tour package coupons along with this health and fitness schemes offer with two watches free of cost and nothing will be charged to you - only Rs-9900/- will be reflected in you credit card statement and after receiving your transaction id and customer care no. the same will be waived off from there side and he will personally call to take the TR ID and waived off the amount.

                  I was not agreed but again he promised and informed me that only who have to verify the call and give him the transaction id so that he waived off the amt for free of cost and he also inform me that don't ask any question at the time of verification.

                  At 11.00 a same day Ms.Pooja called from verification dept and confirm the offer - as per instruction given by Harpreet Singh I gave me all the details and information required for verification and she asked me the credit card details, after given her all the details I got the TR ID and customer care no[protected] and informed that within 14 days you will get all the offer coupons and gift from our end after that the got SMS that tranx on your account for Rs-9900/- has received.

                  Immediately I called Harpreet Singh @ 11.13 am on[protected] for giveing him the TR ID - But the no. from where he called was not connected message got the line disconnected...Again I called him but there was same message than I tried on[protected] from where Ms Pooja from verification dept called me but I got the same message that the line is disconnected.

                  I was worried and than I called at customer care no.[protected] @ 2.30 pm there Ms Ruchika attended the call and I informed her all the details, but she denied and refused to listen the fact and she promised that after confirming she will call back and confirm the same, but she didn't called me that day.

                  On 12/08/09 I called ABN call center on[protected] @ 2.43 Pm - there Ms Sonal attended the call after informing all the fact she noted the complaint and gave me the same customer care no. and informed me that still the TR amt is in process and who can stop the payment within 2 days but you have to inform to the given customer care no.                   On 12/08/09 @ appx 7.00 Pm I got the call from ABN the person informed me that you have given the complaint reg. some issue and he want to discuss the same. As I was driving I informed him to call today morning at 11.00AM - but I didn't got any call from your side.

                  Today I got the call from your side to confirm the address where to dispatched the gifts offer - I denied the same and informed her that I have been misguide and after giving the wrong information the amt was taken from my credit card & since from morning I called customer care no[protected] but no one was attending the call.

                  At last in afternoon I got the call connected and again talk to Ms Ruchika to confirm and inform that I don't want the offer and want to cancel the same because from ABN I have been confirmed that you have to given the request at customer no and than only they can stop the payment.She again refused and denied to cancel the order and informed that her senior will call you soon.

                  But after waiting for some time I called ABN bank call center two time but the system was not available and they informed to call after 5.00 PM.

                  I called after 5.00 Pm and again informed them the same story and request them to immediately stop the payment - Your executive informed me that you have to given the request in writing and one form has to be signed through the agent after that only the payment will be stopped from our end.

                  I got the call from Mr.Prem @ 6.40 Pm from[protected] he informed me that he is senior of Harjeet Singh - I informed him full detail after listening all the fact he agreed that the information given to me was incorrect and they have taken and removed Harpreet Singh from the job. I requested him that I don't want any offer and pls consider my request because I am not is position to pay the amt. He gave me EMI option to pay the amt but I refused so and informed him to pls cancel mu offer and stop the payment immediately or else I will not pay anything and take legal action reg. this issue.He informed me that he will call back soon.

                  Again I got from Mr.Jagdeep Singh @ 6.29 Pm from[protected] he informed that he is senior of Mr.Prem - I again informed him the same story and requested him to cancel my offer and send me the letter which I have to sign for cancellation because I am not in the position to pay the amt really. After listen everything he informed me that he will call me back.

                  Again I got from Mr.Jaiber Singh @ 6.50 Pm from[protected] he informed that he is senior of Mr.Jagdeep Singh - I again informed him the same story but he denied to cancel the offer and he was ready to given me discount of 50% of what amt has been charged by me - He informed me directly that the amt will not be waived off but I can give/adjust more offer in this amt.I again request him to cancel my offer and informed him that I will not pay anything if reflected in my card statement and I will stop all the pending EMI what I am paying utill this matter has solved. He informed me whatever you do you can do anything but we will not cancel the offer and we will take the amt from you.

                  This is the service you are giveing to your customers - check my record / transactions of last 4 years.

                  If you want to loss such customer that no a issue, but really I will not Rs-9900/- in any case - I will fight for the same.

                  I am writing a official mail that ABN that his executives have misguided me given me wrong information and used my credit card... Kindly stop the payment immediately, I will not liable to pay any amount if charged to me & I will stop all the loan EMI also.

                  Pls do the needful on urgent basis.

                  ABN AMRO — ABN AMRO Marketing fraud

                  I am a ABN AMRO Credit Card holder, I received a call from ABN AMRO regarding a travel offer.

                  I asked them to send a email clearly explaining the offer. There was a confirmation call and no where they mentioned that the money would be debited to my A/c. They asked me my DOB andmothers maiden name and said it is only for verification purposes.

                  When i recieved my statement it had a debit of Rs. 4, 999/- + 617.87 towards 4 seasons.

                  Also, at the time of issuing of Card I was assured a free Air Ticket. As it turned out I had to pay the taxes and it was available only on limited sectors. (The Sales executive had assured me that the ticket was for free, I need not pay the taxes also).

                  ABN AMRO — ABN AMBRO FRAUD

                  On 13th of April 09, I got a call from ABN AMRO bank stating that I have been nominated for a Supreme Plus offer based on my personal loan with ABN AMRO bank. After stating the features and benefits of this offer like I will get discount of 35% for all the transactions, the caller mentioned that there would be a nominal cost of Rs.5000/-, which I would need to pay through a secured bank transaction mode over phone, using my credit card. After the transaction is successful, I would receive a kit within 15days from the bank.
                  I asked the customer service executive to call me back after some time so that I can think over it.I received the call again from the CSR after 15 minutes, I reconfirmed with him about the 35% discount on any transaction, his answer was YES.I made the payment after getting an assurance from the CSR. The caller congratulated me and stated that a kit would reach me in 15 days. I received the card after few days, however when I referred the attached booklet it was mentioned as 10% - 5% discount. I was unable to believe and thought that a wrong booklet has been sent to me, so I made a call to the ABN AMBRO call center.Surprisingly, the bank totally disowned such offer and said that no such offer is going on against any of their bank products.
                  I tried to explain the bank that the voucher has ABN AMBRO’s logo and the envelope has the call center’s phone number but the bank disowned it. I called the Citibank to check if my transaction has been done by ABN, they confirmed that the amount has already been credited to ABN. I then called the ABN bank they said that again they cant help and the money should be revised by citi bank only, I explained the scenario that the money has already been credited to ABN but they were not at all in a mood to help me, they said that nothing can be done.

                  After few days, I called once again and explained the whole situation to the ABN CSR, since this time I had done full research and was confident that the money has been credited to ABN, the CSR ( named Beena) was unable disown it, so she told that I will raise a complaint and you will be receiving the money back in your card within 5 working days and was given a reference #, but nothing got credited in my citi bank account after 10 days also. So I called the bank once again and reported the issue this time also I got a reference #[protected]CSR name Sneha) and the confirmation that the money will be credited within 5 days. Dint received the money. I gave it a last chance and called the call canter again but the CSR was rude enough to cut the call.

                  So I decided to go to the Bank directly, once I reached the bank I was informed that the Credit card queries can be taken up only on helpline Phone and helpdesk is only for the account holders. I was already tiered and irritated with the response from the Phone helpline, so I made it a point that I get help form this bank only. I was put on to CSR Gayathri she made a call to the helpline and explained the scenario but then again the HELPLINE person was not understanding the query so the call was been transferred to a higher executive, after a long discussion he informed that the money CANT be reverted.

                  The bank has given wrong commitment and taken rs 5000 from me.Now they refuse to retun my money.

                  Sir in the year 2006 I was offered this credit card by telemarketing guy of your bank and I was told that this card is absolutely free and no charge like joining fee or annual fee will be charged. But after receiving this card and on the first stated I was charged of joining fee and taxes. So I called your bank and asked them to discontinue my credit card I was asked to return the cards back by cutting it in four parts which I did. After that I use to still get the monthly statement so I again request to your bank as I was not using by credit card as I was discontinue . I was promised that it will stop and no dues were left. But now after 3 year I have come to know from cibil that I have some outstanding with your bank on my above credit card. So on 18/11/09 request no.[protected] to send my my latest statement as I have not got the statement for last two year and even request your executive to settle down my due so that I can payoff and have a n.o.c. from your bank to submit to cibil. I was told that I will receive a call in next four day. I waited for four day and as I didn’t receive any call I called back o 23/11/09 request no.22428451 I was told the same thing to wait for four day. But I didn’t revise any call .than I request again on 27/11/2009 but same result so I called today i.e. 4/12/2009 request no. [protected] and I have been asked to wait for two more days for the phone call. I will request please. Please let this be the last time. I want to settle my due as soon as possible so that I can get an n.o.c. from your bank. So that I can have clear statement with cibil.
                  Hope my request will be process as early as possible with positive results.

                  ABN AMRO MARKETING PERSON CHEATTED FOR REGULER CUSTOMER

                  In Nov 2009 ABN marketing person Mr Shrivastw (tel[protected] and saying congratulation u selected as VIP customer of ABN so u have free offer, I rejected and i told him i am not intrested in such offer, He still one week calling me again and again and telling me with talk my senier for discount offer. The senier saying u just book offer next day its will reverse and u will get benifit of 9900/- also u recived OPtima pair watches. After that no call and no any gift from their side only 9900/- bill in my credit card. I speak with customer also and they saying after 15 days its will reverse but still movement nothing happen with me. Now i stopped the using this card and also going to stop total payments also. I told them that i am not going to pay my outstanding till date 9900/- get reverse.

                    I had deposited cash in the drop box.I came to know later ( after losing the money) that all cash deposits should be made in the ATM machine itself and not in the drop box.
                    When i dropped the cash in the drop box there was no board saying not to drop the cash cover in the drop box.( after my complaint about losing the money now they have put it).

                    The bank says even in case of drop box - it is opened in front of the bank official only and they have not received any cash cover that day.

                    Though initially the bank representative were telling they have camera installed later came to know that there is no camera installed in the ATM.

                    They are claiming that they have not received my cover and in the absence of camera i am helpless.

                    Request the forum to suggest what options do i have? Is it not compulsory for teh ATM to have cameras?

I closed my card, paid all balances, they write back to me that I have nil outstandings and that the matter is closed and now I get an SMS that they will complain against me to CIBIL. Request you to intervene as they are continuously mailing me. I can sue them for harassment.

                      Dear Customer Service Manager,

                      I fail to understand how you can continue sending me bills months five months after the credit card has been destroyed. And full payment has been made on the same day after checking with your manager at the ABN AMRO Bank Juhu Branch, Mumbai, India, who in turn called your phone service to check what the latest balance up to that minute was. The payment made was for over Rs. 1 lac and it cleared in front of me as a high value cheque. I also fail to understand why I need to make payments after I destroyed the card after paying the full payment, that too after 5 months. What kind of customer service is this. First I close your card because of your boors at the call centre, then you guys take over as follow up. Don't you guys have any shame?

                      In my earlier mail, I had written to you that I will not entertain any more billing from your end, and that full payment has been made and the card has been destroyed, but still you keep sending me bills with interest. The earlier bill was for 1500, the bill now is for over 7000. Are you guys crazy? I have a good mind to report you for fraud, and write to your global head, which I have anyway.

                      Please do not correspond with me on any credit card issue as it is null and void. If you want to apologise, you may write to me. I reiterate. I don't have your card and it has been destroyed in August, and all payment has been made up to the minute and I will not entertain any more bills coming to me. Please read my mail to you dated August 20, 2008 is below. If you do, I suggest you write off the amount in your own names as I am not liable to pay you a penny!

                      I am copying this mail to the CEO of ABN AMRO, so please act wisely.

                      I will not pay the said amount as I checked with your bank before I paid the final payment. was at your bank and I paid it at your Juhu branch, so what outstanding balance?

                      Since it was a high value cheque, it would have cleared immediately and I destroyed the card in front of your teller, so I fail to understand what this payment is for. What outstanding balance? I am closing your account because of bad service and the fact that you send me this mail for paying the extra money just goes to prove how inefficient and customer unfriendly you are. First I change my address and send a notification to you, then your irritating call centre in Delhi keeps calling me on my mobile to tell me I haven't paid the bill (which hasn't reached me because you haven't updated my address). In fact, everytime they called (minimum 50 times) I had to repeat my address over and over again to your dim-witted call centre people.

                      In fact I will be closing all my ABN AMRO related finances because I am fed up with your inefficiency and unnecessary billing.
                      Please send me a letter that I my card is closed and that there are no outstandings.

                      I have cleared all my dues against my credit card no. [protected] with you. Besides, I am continuosly receiving call and sms alert for payment of outstanding amount. Although I have not at all used my card after clearance of my dues. As per the telecaller the amount outstanding pertains to some insurance which I have never done and also the same stands expired too, because I have received a letter clearly stating that if I do not sign & return the same my policy stands withdrawn. Then also I am unable to understand why you people are simply asking me for that money which I have never utilised. If this is this is the thing I would simply request you to please cancel my credit card asap.

                        I would say ABN AMRO is one bank with whom people shouldnt go with.i have a pblm with abn like they refused to accept my address change when i got transfered from bangalroe to kochi on official grounds.Now after so much of effort they ageed to update my address, now, they says like they dont have service in kochi..Rite now am not getting any bills and am not aware of my due amount.They have charged me now 3 times lates payment fees, service tax, finance charges, Yess Tax and so on..I dont know how worst can a bank be to their customers.?????????????//

                        The executive, Swati Sunder Verifier for ABN AMRO Bk, informed that your office was expected to send confirmation though mail at home address, for which change of address to Mohali was informed by me on 16 Jul at 1100 hours. Confirmation has still not been received and your executives are still ringing up time and again that the amount is still unpaid. It is highly incorrect on your part, firstly you have not sent the confirmation on my home address, secondly you have not updated your records and thirdly your people still ringing up to say that the same is unpaid. Could you please be kind enough to send confirmation on 1691 Phase 10 Mohali Punjab 160062 and ask your people not to disturb by repeatedly ringing up.

                        The same may be also be updated on CIBIL as soon as possible and a confirmation sent to me as well.

                        I had a pecular problem,

                        Iam posted in a MNC where, the previous person working in my position was a credit card holder of ABN.His name is N.R.CH.V.Ganesh kumar. He met an serious accident 3 months back and quit the job due to his personal problems.he is almost in COMA.

                        The mobile number of him, has be alloted to me as he is not there. Know, the customer care people called me, 2 to 3 times and asked for due amount on card. I enquired about the issue with there family, and found that, an outstanding of 14000 approx was paind by him to close the card and the card has been broken and sent to noida office as per instructions from customer care 21/2 years back.

                        Now my QUESTION is, if there is an outstanding, why, he has not received the statements from last 21/2 years and why, know the customer care people are contacting them for payment of outstanding amount after 21/2 years.

                        Recently two days back, they had even called to his home and asking for payment.
                        His father informed me, crying that the customer care person had used very harsh words to pay money.

                        IS THIS IS THE WAY TO CUSTOMER CARE PEOPLE BEHAVE.
                        HOW CAN THE OLD MAN PAY THE AMOUT WHICH WAS CLEARED 21/2 YEARS BACK AND HE EVEN DO NOT KNOW.
                        DID ABN CAN UNDERSTAND THE EMOTIONS OF HIS OLD PARENTS, WHO HAS LOST THERE SUPPORT AT THE ENDING DAYS OF THEM.

                          myself yashpal kochar having ABN AMRO BANK's credit card-[protected] & [protected].i am being constantly harrassed by collection executives & caller's from NOIDA since MARCH.Callers from NOIDA were PRAMOD-[protected], AKHIL-[protected], RAJ-[protected], their landline nos'[protected] & [protected].also a person BAJIRAO [protected]
                          Due to my financial problems i was asking them for a settlement, but they were only interested in collecting my minimum due for which they used abusive langauge, bad words in hindi etc.they send BAJIRAO twice at my residence in afternoon even though he knew that i am at my office.He told my wife & mom that i have lots of dues with bank & not answering call & paying from months.Also NOIDA people told my wife on phone that their executive will sit at my home till she is not paying & also spoked in rubbish langauge
                          I have complaint this to banks costumer care with no revert from the bank, instead they transfered my case to their mumbai office where i suppose they would go thru the same harrassment procedure

                            Sir/ Madam,
                            I don’t know, what you will do with this letter either you can read or leave it like a trash.
                            I am very grateful to you for reading my words.

                            Here I want to confess something in front of you, that there is some problem in Working, Strategic Planning and internal behavior in our Personal Loan Deptt.
                            A few examples are below:-

                            1) if anybody fails while collecting the amount from the customer, he have to pay the whole amount from it’s pocket, means Self-funding, otherwise we tortured them like salary cuts and termination from the job.
                            2) we have to fund customer’s amount up to their deeds, because the pressure of our respected seniors
                            3) our seniors use so many abuses while talking and told us that, ”KAISE BHI LAO PAYMENT LAO, CHAHE CHORI KARO YA DAKA DALO, WARNA TERI SALARY SE KAAT LUNGA “
                            4) Some of our seniors/tele-callers confuse like we can settle your amount in lesser value instead of full payment and force our beloved customers not to pay the amount while he is in bucket 150, because the wants to collect the amount from the same customer one month later when he is shifted in bucket no180, to fulfill their targets of bucket 180, that’s why the collectors are unable to give their targets as far.
                            5) Tele-callers let a very bad impact on the fame of our bank, because they use abusing and torturing languages to the customers.


                            I didn’t want to ill fame anybody or any of my senior but, as a part of this organization I fell it’s wrong so that’s why I am telling you all these.

                            I completely agree...ABN AMRO is terrible to deal with specially the people calling from the NOIDA/Gurgoan offices. They have used foul language, threatened my parents, my job etc. Wish someone could take real strict action against these people

                              I had a ABN Amro Credit Card with me (card no.[protected]). I have received last month statement shows a new item which is "MEMBERSHIP FEE" RS.595+Finance charge+servise tax dt.14/06/2009, and i am not authorized anybody to collect such unauthorized amount to be collect through my credit card, and how did you bill me with out my confirmation.

                              Several times i have requested to your business promoter staffs, do not call me for any of such business promotional offers.

                              Pls don't renew my card and i don't like to continue with ABN Amro Credit Card Services.

                              Hence i request you to kindly wave the said amount at the earliest and confirm.

                                Dear Sir,
                                I have complaint against ABN AMRO, their recovery agents are calling 2-3 daily and i must say they have absolutely no manners of how to talk, they do not check the previous history of the call or what was discussed, what the other agent who called before has promised and simply start screaming.
                                I have been receiving calls from them for last 6 months, initially i explained them all the issue in details. the person then said that he will send me the email with complete clarification and settlement amount, samething was promised by several agents and i also kept explaining same thing again and again... but till date i have not received a single email from them, and many times them have taken force payment from my salsry account with ABN AMRO, I must say they are trying to do complete "Gundagardi" but now i am no more interested in telling the same thing again and again 2-3 times a day and more over talking to these manner less guys who call up.
                                I am looking forward for your help in this issue. Please help

                                  I had Card No [protected] for which I have recieved numerous calls that is when my wife admitted in hospital as she was expecting at that point of time I got a call from Advocate Chouhan where she told to pay Rs 25000/- to get the NOC & final closure of my Card else police will arrive at my place & I will in police custody in case of fraud. After getting free from huge mentally tortured time I requested Advocate chouhan at [protected] to give me NOC she told me that I will not be able to provide NOC & bangged the phone after this I tried several times to contact her, but she did not respond at all.

                                  I tried to call Mr Mohan at [protected] who claimed himself as Crime Branch officer he said that she is the right person for that. Where he is the one who threatened me when I was in hospital with my wife & expecting good news. Its all the matter of Jan end 2008.

                                  If require I can present my Son Birth Day Certificate as well.

                                  After that also I have made payment for Rs 8103/- & Rs 2000/- on 6th Feb 09 Rct No 1871 & Rct No 1869 collected by Sahijpal & Associates Pvt Pltd, 4631, DLF Ph - 4, Gurgaon in cash & only

                                  After all this incident after few months agains threat calls started & misbehaving like anything.Well I made full payment as I dont wanted to be updated in CIVIL DATA of Banks or to be called Fraud.But after all this my Name is updated in CIVIL Data which hampering my credibility everywhere.

                                  Would request you to intervene & get my name deleted from the CIVIL at the earliest.

                                    I am your such old elite customer of this credit card for more than 2.5 yrs, when i have started your card with limit of Rs 39000 only after that bank had enhance my limit upto 89000.
                                    as i have recieved call regarding gift voucher sending worth Rs 5000 on jan09 but i have completely refused because i know that call comes from some DSA but after some time i have recieved bill against on this. and i had called so many times to customer care regarding this with full conversation but till date no reversal or any solution come up.

                                      I would request you to short it out at the earliest. 5 working days is a longtime. See I have applied for a car loan & the bank has declined my approval. The reason being my name was reflecting in the CIBIL list from ABN AMRO. So I want this to be shortedout at the earliest (48 hrs). Please under stand why am I suffering ?
                                      My questions to the bank are
                                      1. Does bank has any record that I have requested for this card ?
                                      2. Do you have any approval or signature of mine against issuing this card ?
                                      3. Primary card user can issue a secondary card in anyone’s name immaterial of the relationship. So any one can get issue addon card card in anyone’s name. There is no approval required for the same.

                                      So my request to the bank is kindly short this out ASAP else I have no option left out except going to consumer’s forum.

                                        abn amro card starts home insurance in march 2007 with there own intrest. after that i send them letter on 30 march to stop home insurance. but nothing to done by them, every time i pay ther bill on time, i send many letters to stop home insurance policy but nothing to do by them, after that i stop to use card and i pay there bill, but after that they send me bill of late payment for home insurance, forcefully . after that phone calls are coming from delhi to pay the bill otherwise your name is ragister on satyam, so this is my complaint aginst abn amro bank, my credit card no is [protected] . i am very much disturb from this bank, they force me to pay the bill
