dear sir
the mobile no [protected] is a corporate no with novo nordisk india pvt. ltd. and for last one year i am having this number.
but for last one yesr i have recieved around thousand calls from abn amro bank and all were cocernerd to girish sharma. mr sharma has left the compony around one year back and now its nothing to do with this no. but insted of it that i have several times told bank guys about the issue they are continously making calls and asking for him. and today at 12:25 i recived a call from [protected] and the person again asked about girish sharma when i told he is not here the person started using abusing language . now its enough i am fade up of all the things. though i have made a request to add this no. inabn amro bank's do not call reg. around three months back . so please do the needfull at the same i am providing u his new no. girish sharma mob no. is [protected]. kindly call him and please forgive me from this mental extortion what people from abn amro bank are doing with me.please do the needful.

ABNAMRO — calls

Despite regular complains i have been receiving calls at least 10 times a day from delhi collection team which is really intorrerable for the last 3 months

    Sir,

    I had a personal loan from ABN Amro bank(loan # 9202940), which I ended up settling down with the bank ppl on October 15th 2007. Their letter clearly states that it is the full and final cosure of the loan account. And I also have the receipt of the one shot cash payment that I made to close this.(Rs 30, 000)

    However, today the 4th Aug 2008. I am getting a call from the ABN amro bank's recovery team stating that my name is already there in CIBIL and satyam database and they are about to send my name to Indian Embassy, so my travel out of India will be frozen. (I do a lot of business travel out of india). I was also told that they have been tracing my phone number and know all the ppl whom I am working with and making calls.

    I am being threatened that the loan amount is 58, 000 and I have to carry 30, 000 by tomorrow 11:00 am so to avoid them sending my name to the passport/embassy ppl. I am lost and I dont know what to do.

    Please help me out.

      Dear Sir

      I have made all full payements for all the month till march 2008. Although feb statement was not recieved same was informed to bank. My only outstanding amount is 8547.19/- where i was ready to pay them but they are not ready to resolve the issue and its is increasing every month. I have recieved N number of calls from them, but no body listen, even i have called the bank also.

      Below r the details mails sent to them and few responses from bank

      Dear Concerned

      I will do the payment of last statement transaction which is total 8547.18/-
      only if you do the correction in the statement. I will not make you payement
      of 11055/- which is not at all justified. Instead of making the full
      payement you always incurred Cahrges to me check my past mail. You people
      never response on time due to which you levied the finance charges to me.
      What is my fault? I m always requesting for the correct statement which you
      are not giving.

      Better if you want the close this matter amicably . I did not get you
      statement delivers for feb. Same was complaint to you and Yesterday also i
      have called you cc for the correction of statement and response was too bad.
      Better if you want the clear the payement, You sould settle down before 27th
      otherwise I will not make any payement and finance charges apply on the
      payement will not be accepted and that will not my fault. After 27th April
      no need to send your excutive to me

      Hello Dear, can you tell me where i can pay my ABN anro cradit card bill.
      i m not receiving my statement properly

      can u tell me how i can make payment of ABN Amro credit card bill through netbanking ( Bank other than ABN Amro).

      I m having the Net Banking through HDFC Bank.

      dear Sir

      i have hdfc bank credit card i seding request to Bank for cancel my credit card, when i cancel credit card its some later payment cahrges its due but i recieved the letter form Bank " We confirm having invalidated your card account form further usage. we are arranging to reverse the charges billed to your card account and the revelant credit will reflect shortly on your card account" this letter dated 17-Jun-2005, but recently i revied notice form bank mentiond that your card out standing is Rs.4000/- and above you deposit this amount, in this case what can i do. Pl.advice

      My Titanium Credit Card No.[protected] - Payment thereof

      On 10-2-09, your collection agents M/s Vibatec Services, 1st floor, No.75/2RT, Prakash Nagar, Begumpet, Hyderabad-16, telephoned me saying that a payment of Rs.3700/- is outstanding against
      my above noted credit card and that I should pay up immediately in cash.

      During Jan 09, my cheque No.330999 dt 20--109 of HDFC for Rs.3691.99 has been dropped in your Maredpally ATM drop box, Hyderabad, against your statement for that month.

      I do not know what happened to that cheque. But I confirm that the cheque has not come to my bankers HDFC for clearance.

      So, when your collection agents, M/s Vibatec Services telephoned me I responded. Their representative
      Mr EK Shiva Kishore came and collected Rs.3700/- from me and issued Receipt No.HYVIBH 19416 dated 10-2-09.

      I have not, till date, received any confirmation from you through SMS to the effect that Vibatec Services has remitted the money to my credit card account.

      Usually, your banks SMSs me for pending payment and receipt of payments.

      Kindly confirm receipt of Rs.3700/- collected in cash by Vibatec Services, Hyderabad.

        To The Concern,

        This is a long back issue started in last year September 2007, please check the email conversation in the email which is attached below. ABN AMRO Bank has misled me with false information and me accepted to take ICICI life insurance and also send me two air tickets and credited 4000/- amount without my consent. I tried to reach them many times, but they turned deaf ears to my complaint and last option I tried was reaching out their heads through emails, but not one came back to help me out. Now the outstanding balance stands at 8, 815/- and now they are calling me and threating me daily. I again emailed them about the current situation and the reply comes that I have to pay the Oustanding Amount 8, 815/-. Why should I pay this amount as I have never used this card. Kindly help me from this situation. The emails exchanged has been attached below.

        Thanks for the delayed updation, if you or your customer service people had informed me earlier, I think the amount of Rs. 8, 815/- amount would not have arised. Your customer service executives have misled me first thing in Insurance and second in One for free trip where I have never asked for it. However, my right now concern is the outstanding balance of 8, 815/-, I would not be paying this amount because this amount has not been created by me or by my credit card usage, if yes then . Reveres all my interests charges and let me know exactly how much should I pay, I mean the amount which I have used, this much amount arised just because of interest adding every month, if your executive had helped me out when I called them I would have paid the amount at that time only. And also I want all the details of my account that how come my amount comes till 8, 815/-, if all the charges have been reveresed at that time only and I have not been using the card since this issue has happened. This is amount is no where concerned to me, as for me I have tried many times to clear this issue at that time only by reaching your customer service executive and also through emails from that time only, but it took this long time to reply back to my grievance when the amount has become 8, 815/-, sorry to say that. since the time this issue has happened If you wanna reach me to explain me you can call me at [protected] anytime.

        Hi Anil,

        Hope you remember me and my email regarding my greviance with Abnamro bank (below you can check). Just to let you know that no one has got back to me after my complaint. As informed earlier I lost my time, energy and money in settling this issue, as of no response from your end, thought to keep quiet as bank is not taking in interest in my complaint. The amount of 1000/- change something as now come upto 8000/- change, and one fine day one of your customer service executive, Amit from Delhi has called me on my mobile started threatning me for the payment. He was giving warning that he will sent legal notice, etc, I told him to do whatever you like. Now my question is, is this really my mistake, I informed to you people about my griveance with bank and you people never came to me or helped me out and suddenly out of nowhere, when the amount became big started calling me up for the payment. For me I feel really bad for being associated with Abnamro bank, till now no other bank has treated me like this, before joining your bank we are like god for you, once joined you care us as . I have seriously advised all my company staff, friends, clients, customers, etc to not to have any links with this bank and I am also going to post my grievance in all the national newspapers and then I will see whether your bank will do anything on my issue or not. This just because your customer service people has not been trained to how to deal with customers, because of some misleading information this issue has come to till this extent.

        I request you to kindly interfere in this matter and resolve my issue at the earliest. Hoping for a favourable reply from your end.

I tried to call the customer service in this regards, but no one helped me out, instead I called almost 15 times, but still no one even bothered to help me out and instead putting me on hold for more than 10-15 minutes, all the time, just sheer wasting my time, my money, etc. I justed wanted to know is this is the way you treat you cusotmers. I never faced a problem from any bank till now. Really, I am very much ashamed to say I am holding ABN Amro Bank card, and I felt it like that today. When your customer service cannot help me out, please SHUT THIS DEPARTMENT.

        Coming back to the issue, I wanted to say I have never used the card to get the billing of 5241/-, instead without my permission I got free flight ticket tkts billing of 4000/-, and without my permission an insurance amount has beed deducted. I am clearly saying I would not be paying any single amount to Abn Amro bank apart from which I use and I am going to request all my friends, my company, etc whoever using the card to cancel it immeidately and i am working as marketing manager, i know i can do it easily. Please sort out my issue asap, you can call me on [protected] after 1:00 PM IST, I will be available on my mobile. I am repeat my words once again, i would not be paying any single money when i have not used the card or else if you cannot help me out, please cancel my card.

          Dear Pehredar Team,

          This is Atul Dixit from Mumbai.

          After watching the program at 3:30pm today,
          I feel should report you about the similar issue, I am facing with ABN AMRO credit card.

          I have been issued credit card free of charge on 15.06.2003 by ABN AMRO because of my association with well known MNC.

          I used this card for almost 6 months & made regular payments of the dues.

          Incidently, even after payment for month of Jan 2004, due to technical error,
          I was levied Return cheque handling charges with service taxes.

          Upon request to bank for reversal of charges, ABN AMRO has confirmed the reversal on 6th March 2004.
          For Next month's statement, same was also reflected partly.
          But to my surprise, same charges were levied again & this time with late payment charges.

          After checking with ABN AMRO, they confirmed on 28th April 2004 about the investigation in detail to sort out the problem.

          Incidently, no reply was received from Bank & these charges were added again & again for next months.

          Because of repeated problem of adding late payment charges, I contacted ABN Amro again on 29.06.2004.
          Incidently, this time again, ABN AMRO has confirmed the reversal on 30th June 2004,
          surprisingly keeping later payment charges again.

          Now, with repeatation of problems & no sensitivity to handle customer issues,
          I did not get any feedback on my queries upto 11th Feb 2005.

          I stopped following up wih bank, as they were not serious to resolve the issue.
          Instead, ABN AMRO kept charging me for months together bringing this late payment to huge sum.

          Meanwhile, I left India in November for 1 year on official duty.

          Due to troublesome letters sent to my local address, I again raised the issue with bank on 11th May 2005.
          Unprofessionally, bank asked me to pay huge sum of Rs.4508.
          This was arrived just by repeatedly charging for late payment & other charges for months together as shown.

          Since this was ignorance at it's peak, I decided to block the card & informed @ same on 14th Jun 2005.
          Bank representatives promised this time to look in to the matter & resolve same,
          but since no response from them for 2 weeks, I dispatched the cards in pieces on 28th Jun 2005 & sent via courier from Singapore.

          Instead of acknowledging the reciept of cut card & apologising for unprofessional handling of whole episode,
          ABN Amro sent a letter asking me to pay for Rs.5077.

          Tired by its sick responses, I stopped talking to bank again, since the issue was closed at my end.

          Incidently, some where last year, I got a call from ABN AMRO's Gurgaon office,
          with a lady asking me for repayment of Rs.8958.
          When asked about the awaited response from bank, she has threatonned me for same.

          The latest version, heard from ABN AMRO bank on 11th July 2008, i.e. last week, Mr.Ravi Malhotra[protected], Supervisor,
          Consumer Risk Dept, ABN AMRO Bank, Noida office asking for settlement on Rs.6000/-.

          He informed me that this will help me remove my name from defaulter list of RBI.
          This started with reversal problem of Rs. 100 & without accepting the responsibility for poor handling, spoiling my image now.
          Incidently, my recent applications for new cards of Barclays, SBI, Citibank got rejected for wrong reporting by ABN AMRO at RBI.

          I have been using crdit cards from HSBC & American Express for 8-10 years now.
          In fact due to regular re-payment on my account for years, I am also considered as privildge member of these well known banks.

          With this long history, I request Pehredar team to take up the matter with ABN AMRO & close the issue.
          I should receive the credit card account closing letter with apologie from bank.

          Also request to remove my name from defaulter list of RBI & issue NOC.

          I would highly appreciate the efforts by your team & report the same to our renowned & respected MNC company.

            My credit card no is:[protected] for my credit card ABN Amro debited from October 2007 Rs.22848.12 as medical insurance, finance charges, late fees which is not concern me. Regarding this I have give more than 10 compliants over phone to 24 hurs customer care executive and I have sent emails at last they are credited Rs.20415.23 to my credit card and again they are showing in my credit card statement Rs.3412.95 as out standing and they are harresing me for the payment, I have not used credit card nearly from Jan 2008 and I have given my compliants regarding this matter from November 2007 to till today but no use, they are not ready to rectify there mistake. ABN Amro very very dishonest, cheating customers like me.

              My card number is [protected]. I had used the credit limit of my card upto some 70, 000(approx) in the month of September, 2007.I was in Delhi that time. In the very next month I shifted to Bokaro. The first time I got a call from Customer Care Department was in October when I had asked the executive to change my address and collect the amount from my freind. Although the amount was collected from her but the address was not changed.In December I shifted to Chandigarh after my marriage. That time I tried to contact the customer care but in vain... In February I got a call from one of your collection manager Mr Gagan Kohli( With whom I have been in direct contact with for my payments), threatening that if i dont make my payments on time he would harm me and my family. I conveyed him that because my address was not changed and also because there is no branch of ABN in Chandigarh I was not able to make the payment. He then agreed to send one of the executive to collect the payment of Rs 4500/- from me. Instead of my paying the sum the collection agents were visiting my old relatives and harassing and threatening them on phone as well. When I called Mr Gagan Kohli he assured that he would personnaly look into the matter and would make sorry to call to all those who were harassed in this case, which was never done. Since February I am in contact with Mr Gagan Kohli. I have updated my no. and address to him. He arranges to send an executive to collect the sum from me every month. In the month of March when I asked him to tell me the total amount due on my card he assured that he would calculate and trevert back by evening which he never did. I userd to call him one in a week but never got a good response from him. In the month of May He finally said that I need to pay somewhere around 60, 000/- against my card. I asked him the option of paying it in one go and in installments both. For which I was again ensured by Mr Gagan Kohli that he would revert back in evening the same day. Not less than 25 times I would have called him for this simple query.Sometimes he was in meeting and sometimes he was out of Delhi. Anyways, whenever he picked the phone he promised to revert in next hour. On 7th or 8th when my payment was scheduled he called me up and said that the total amount to be paid by me was somewhere around 58, 000/- if I go for a settlement. I requested him that I would like to make the payment in one go then he said that make the payment of 10, 000/- this time and in a day or two he would send me the scanned copy of final settlement after which I can make the payment in one go. I agreed and made the payment of Rs 10, 000/-.I waited for his mail but he never replied. I called him again for not less than 25-30 times on both his office landline number and his mobile no. [protected] both but most of the time he did not respond and even when he everytime he promised that he would revert back by evening and send the letter. On 20th June he finally sent the scanned of settlement letter which was again wrong ( it was for installment payment instead of one go). When I called him back he did not picked up his phone. After few days when he did he said that mistakingly he has sent that letter and promised me to send correct one the other day. The other day never came as usual. When I called him he never picked up the phone. After my 10-12 calls he responded and said that he cannot get two settlement letter issued for a single card number in ONE MONTH. And thus he asked me to wait for July. When I called him on 02nd July he said that he was not in town and asked me to call on 04th. So did I. He did not picked up the phone. I called him not less than thrice each day. But he never bothered to respond. When I called him from another number he started speaking rudely and said that I have no other option but to make the payment in installments. When I asked him to give the number of his supervisor he said he dont have any supervisor and even if he had he would never give me his/ her number.
              I as customer request you to plase solve my problem as I had never expected this from a World class Bank like ABN Amro. And also there is a humble request that please dont keep employees like MR GAGAN KOHLI who although being at such a nice position behaves like illetrate and harrass customers.

              Request you to please help making me my payment.

                I am receiving repeated harassment calls and Abusive calls in very filthy language in Tamil by one Arun from[protected], they call between 10 am to 3 pm giving 40 to 60 calls per day. at this time just lady members of family stay at home. our family members literally cry almost everyday when come back home in the evening. As we made a settlement of credit card couple of months back a small amount is left over, but ABN AMRO have added heavy penalty and interest amount which is not clear. we have asked to give legal notice so we can settle through court as mentioned by new RBI regulation. But some agency in Delhi is handling the settlement issues they are not aware of RBI norms. Though we explain the same we are harassed and abused. we are traumatised mentally, so i would go to NHRC or file FIR in local police or publish in press.

That person telling the details present in CV only, and he don't know any more about me. This is the proof for identifying such fellows who are making the threatening calls to the people to pay money. ABN AMRO bank professionals should take the necessary action on the person who are calling from[protected] to the people.

                  I am holding a personal Loan of ABN since 2006 and ECS is being taken everymonth from my bank account of HDFC. Once it failed in April 2007 due to RBI clearing Problem/ my hospitalisation but immediately the instalment have been paid in cash on 30/4/07 and after that it never failed and uptodate till now.
                  One credit card gifted to me by ABN being a gesture of a good customer have been used by me for six months during Sept.07-jan 08 and I have paid, Dec 1200/- jan 08 1200/- March 08 3000/- April 500/- and closed my card on June 10th by paying 13965/- in full.
                  I am surprised to find me as defaulter in CIBIL why and how.
                  You can check and find please.
                  I work for HCL Technologies Ltd for the last five years and never defaulted as a money matter is concerned and I do not hold any credit card except above.

                    I am an unfortunate guy who made the mistake o[censored]sing ABN AMRO credit card.
                    This supposedly tops the list of worst banks in India.
                    I feel no sense of guilt or shame in giving those galis galore. They aptly deserve it.
                    The things that happened:
                    1. I got the card in 2003.I stopped using the card 3 years ago in 2005.Since I was moving out of the state to Bangalore, after talking to the customer care folks, as per their instructions, I cleared all the dues, cut the card and dropped it in their drop box.
                    2. In Bangalore, ABN AMRO BANK processed another credit card on my name and issued it... which I am still using !!
                    3. I returned back to Hyd last year.. and since Nov 2007, I start receiving calls from ABN AMRO that I have to pay for the card that I have stopped using 3 years ago ! (I still am using the other card) I Couldnt believe that they use such a lousy tone and threaten to defame my name. I was/am still their customer. Its despicable. And what are the reasons I need to pay them??? For around 6 months I received more than 40 calls .. every time a new person talks and asks the same questions. When I ask them what exactly is the reason I need to pay them, they say that the records are 3 yrs old and that they cant see my transactions but I have to pay a due of 4400 !!
                    4. I strongly re-iterate that they should give the reasons as to why I need to pay... and as to why they havent sent the bill all these three years if I had an outstanding due. They have no answers !!! I explain that I am willing to talk to any of their executives anywhere in the city and even willing to visit any of their bank's branches in hyd. They were totally unwilling and said that I have to come to Delhi if I have to meet in person! Ridiculous !!
                    5. Recently, I receive a call from their "legal department" that they are going to blacklist my name in the RBI records and threatened serious consequences. This is OUTRIGHT THREAT ON AN INDIVIDUAL'S PERSONALITY. ITS OUTRAGEOUS!. When I insist that I need a reason to pay the amount.. I get a call after 15 mins stating that the reason to pay the amount is the "annual fee" !
                    6. I persisted that I received the card as a life time free card. They say that I was duped by their agents. Thats sad.. but well.. it could be true. But why wasnt this information given to me at the time of surrendering the card or atleast few months after that in a bill or as a statement of acc ? Why am I asked to pay 4400 rupees for no fault of mine ?
                    ABN AMRO is a cheap lousy trickster. I realised what a immoral lot they are. A bunch of sad cheap who cant get a life!

                    I am not sure if this site can help in giving justice but atleast if it acts as an advertisement board where people realise what NOT to do... it would benefit many.
                    I honestly wish they go broke ! From today on, i pledge to discourage anyone from associating themselves with ABN AMRO.

                    I wish the legal and moral forces of govt wipe out such parasites from India.
                    Believe me, we dont need a lousy bank like ABN AMRO in India. I am sure sooner or later they will get into a real mess and get massive fines slapped on their face.

                      I have an ABN Amro credit card. For one month I had to pay an amount of Rs. 200. Because I faulted paying the amount by 2 days. For this, they charged me a late payment charge of Rs.350. Rs. 350 for late payment of Rs. 200. This is ridiculous. They charge Rs. 350 for late payment even when Rs. 1 or Rs. 2 is the balance due.                         This has reference to the above cited subject as I already informed you that the account has already been settled with your authorized representative of Mr. Sanjay of INHOUSE AOK, 3, Community center Naraina Industrial Area, Ph-1, New Delhi on 21.01.2007, but at the time of settlement of account the representative do not carry the settlement letter from bank he insure that the differential amount would be credited in my account in my next statement. But when I received the statement the amount has not been credited to my account and the same has been informed to the customer care center on 15.02.2007, but no action have been taken by them and ask me to pay the balance amount.

                        Please let me know by whom instructions the credit shield policy have been charged in my account and after informing the same to the bank thru customer care center why not the same have been credited in my account.

                        As all the payment was late for my card dues to the credit shield policy for which I had never applied. If the late payment charges and the amount of credit shield policy has removed from my account there is no pending balance due to me for pay. I do not asking for any amount which is actually used by me and not paid to the bank.

                        I again request you to kindly settle my account at the earliest otherwise I will be settle my account on my end.

                        Credit Card — reversal of balance amount

                        i had ABN AMRO credit card (#[protected])had balance of 67000 after discussing with the bank they gave us 43000 settlement letter in writing, then we approched sbi where they gave us 62000 of DD as balance transfer against abn amro cr card, later we gave that DD to abn amro thinking that they will transfer the bal amount to our abn amro savings account as per the collection executive spoke to us, now the bank is not ready to refund the bal amount which is rs19000, kindly give us a good suggetion.

                          Harassing Calls on Mobile.
                          I was having ABN AMRO BANK Credit Card before two years and I had made a request to block my card. during that time there were no dues on my card. and now after almost two year bank officors started calling me up and asking to pay me some charges for holding the card. I am getting call once a month for paying of outstanding due for using the card for all the past four years Today I received two calls from one girl from Accounts Officer of bank from phone number[protected] and asking to pay unknown dues and causing harassment on phone.

                          Please advise ABN AMRO Bank to take appropriate action within their bank otherwise put up claim for NOT RESPECTING DND.

                          ABN AMRO Credit Card — Wrong dues

                          I have applied for home loan trough Axis bank and as per the bank authorities my home loan application has declined due to scoring of 635 and showing amount due of Rs.2931/- in CIBIL.

                          As few days back only received call from ABN AMRO Bank stating that very large sum of amount is due from past 4 years when requested for statement to cross check & pay the amount got reply that they cannot provide me the details as this is 4 years back transaction. As a consumer I have right for the statement and very the transaction is actually made by me or not as no one waits for 4 years for recovery.

                          I'm getting call after 2 weeks intervel & some are saying 7800 is due and some are saying just pay 3500 and will give you NOC when requested for statement they are unable to produce same goes with the call centres. I believe the banks are finding new ways to cheat customers hard earned money.

                            With deep regret I wish to inform you that when I first got my ABN AMRO Credit Card, I was really overwhelmed to be a part of the prestigious ABN AMRO family. But my joy didn’t last long. I had just started using my card for a couple of weeks when I started experiencing the problem of getting my statements late….late enough to subject me to penalties and interests! Not that it is the only card I own and I have an excellent credit history with all the other hosts. So usage of this card went down quite spontaneously. However, I never thought of finally dropping it. But today I have really been cornered…so precipitously that I have no option to surrender my card. May be it means nothing to them, but I feel I must purge the story so that I have a clear conscience and may be the forum may take steps that others are not subjected to this humiliation!


                            Being disturbed and chased by thier telecallers had always been a regular feature and about 7 – 8 months back, one of them offered me an upgradation to a gold card. He was dead-nagging and was phone-stalking me day and night. Finally, to get rid of him I accepted the offer. However, I specifically told him that I was not willing to take a Rs.6000/- pre-approved draft which he said was bundled with the offer. Not paying heed, he assured me that no interest would be charged for the same if I paid back the amount in a month’s time. It happened exactly the way….I repaid the amount, something in excess of Rs.6000/- precisely within days of encashing the draft. The monthly statements kept rolling in showing ‘0’ amount due. Everything went on smoothly unless with my last statement that reflected the 6th EMI showed an additional due of Rs.790.14/- was claimed. Surprised, I called the helpline and came to know that it is “some charge” that has been incurred because I never officially informed in writing that I wanted to get rid of the loan process…. I understood how badly I have been cheated. I can well understand how easily they can make money only if they can dupe about 100 people in much the same way as they did to me! I know this grievance would never be redressed. Nor do I hope that this outstanding would be revoked. But I can certainly get rid of this menace once I get rid of the card. I pledge to pay off whatever outstanding is reflected in the coming statement, after which I shall surrender my card.

                            Is there anything you can do about it???

                            I still regret the day when I said yes to be the owner of a ABN AMRO credit card. ABN AMRO has been harrassing me since the last 2 yrs. to pay charges on a card which does not exist anymore. They have levied annual charges on a non existent credit card and also levied interest thereon.

                            In Nov 2005 I was given a new card as a replacement of the then existing card for safety reasons and the balance of the existing card was also transferred to the new card. All the dues thereon were cleared on the due dates and since mid 2006 I have stopped using the new card also. The bank charged annual fees on the old card in March/ April 2006 which was existing till Nov 2005 and no statement to that effect was sent to me although I was receiving the statement for the new card.

                            They have been calling me frequently in an attempt to make me do a one time settlement. The settlement amt varies everytime they call me ranging from Rs.5000 to Rs.1500 but nobody is interested to know the actual issue and solve it for good.

                            Looking at the number of issues raised by the customers it clearly seems to be a total mess at ABN AMRO bank and they should be banned from issuing any further credit cards with immediate effect.

                              "i had taken personal loan from your bank in february 2007 of rs. 4, 62, 000/-. the representative was mr.mayur([protected], [protected]). till today i am accurate in repayment of my loan installments. last month due to some bank mistake my ecs was returned uncleared, so i had paid it in cash. but after paying that installment in cash, your bank had repeatly shown ecs in my bank account and twice you had taken the same installments. that mean instead of rs. 16476/- you had taken my rs. 32, 952/- in last month. because of that my other cheques bounced from my account with 'unsufficiant balance' remarks. in this situation i suffered a loat. i had visited to your branch and meet to several persons and request to refund my money. but nobudy heared my complaint. in end i was adwised to meet mr.vikdram kumar w. i requsted him and told him my problem. he was very angry man he told me that, as per our bank policy we cant refund you thae money. that amount will be credited to your account at the time of closing your account when you will pay all the next installments clearly, then only we will credit that amount to your a ccount. and you will have to pay as per the shedule given to you. if you will do any mistake then this amount will be counted as penalty. i told him that i am paying interest on this loan amount so you can't deduct my money like that. you can check my account. i need money so you please refund me my money or give me credit as next month installment. but mr. vikram became angry and abused me and told me that "all gujaratis are head less and they don't have brain. i am the muscleman of this bank, nobudy can force me to do any thing. and i don't want to refund you. i do what ever you want to do. and now if you will come here for the same question, you will be kicked out from here. you are the borrower and we are the lender. and borrower is allways under the lender." i tried to meet the branch manager but he also was not interested to meet regarding repayment metters. i asked to staff the manager's phone number, but nobudy given it to me. then i waited for this month. i was thinking my instllment is credited in abn bank so they will not ask for this month. but in this month also your bank had taken money from my account. so now tell me that what i will have to do? if you don't want to refund me with interest then tell me clearly, so i can take legal action against my problem.

                                I had Applied for a Personal loan (Loan No: 9476694 ) and the Loan was disbursed on 31'st May but I received the DD on 3'rd June and found the letter that I had to pay my First EMI on 13'th June. While I got the DD encashed on 7'th. I requested the customer care to Revise my First EMI date to July 13'th. In the Interim I started getting calls first from the Channel partner Who facilited my Loan and then from a Land line NO:[protected], , This Guy was Very Abusive. and told me To Take the complaint Back or else my CIBIL Records will be screwed. I told I as a customer can request in case of any difficulty and this is not a Police Complaint I have made.
                                When I returned back the call to the above no it was answered by the sales Manager for personal Loans. He Was apoligotic and he sweared that he was not aware of the Call. With this I could conclude that there is
                                1. No Data Security of the customer
                                2. Any channel Partner ( supposed to be rival of the other channel Partner ) can call the customer and Abuse.

                                Can some one Advise if there is a Appropriate forum to Address this and a legal action be Taken

                                i got a call from ABN AMRO bank Delhi branch.regarding panding amount against using credit card.But as I know i dont have any credit card.As per person of bank, they issued that card on march 2003.and that time i was student of first year.I asked them to show me any photo i.d on which they given me credit card.but they said they don't have that much old documents.how stupid kind to talk it is. They told me that they will declare me permanenetly faulty customer.In 2003 i did't have any photo i.d.Name of the person is Jatin sethi.and No is [protected]..What kind of sevice it is.
                                Now i am very upset that, i am not having a single card but they have data.They call me two to four time.

                                I am Pankaj Gupta, I have taken Personal loan from your bank. My Personal loan A/c No is 9426928 . I want to foreclose this account for this I have talk to Customer Care about foreclose this account & I asked them to tell the correct balance amount to pay so that I can send the cheque to the bank. Two times I have send the cheque to the bank as given address in delhi with the amount tell by Customer care, both the time bank has refund the cheque because of insufficient balance, I have also mentioned my contact no on the letter with the cheque, my question is if in the cheque their is insufficient balance written so, bank must call me and tell about the balance amount.

                                Now third time I have call to Customer care and the people working in the call centre dont talk properly with the customer . again i call to customer care and conform the balance amount, now I have send the cheque with the balance amount tell by customer care plus 4500/- excess so that bank take the amount and refund the balance.

                                My experience with your bank was really bad.
                                I got mental stress on receiving your Good Life Programme card. It is use less. A false information was given to me to get my enorlment for the card. Kindly cancel my card and refund me the fee. Mobile [protected]

                                Hello,

                                I had Applied for a Personal loan (Loan No: 9173462). The Loan was disbursed on Jan 2005. Post that close to 30 months i have been making payment without any misses. Later due to my accident leading to financial diffuculties and personal problems, could not make payment on time. Even then i have ensured that payment is within a week by Cash.

                                After 6 months i received a call from an executive from Delhi ABN AMRO saying due to my track record for last 6 to 8 months, we are changing the auto debit facility from 15th of each month to 1st, which makes payment even more difficult for me to pay as my salary is later than the date changed. Does an executive have authority to call and change the payment date ?

                                Due to my missed, i started receiving calls to make late payment charges on this loan account. I made arrangements to pay. Till date i have made 3 times payment towards late fees. Jan 2009 i made a payment of Rs. 7060/- towards late payment as mentioned by Mr. Manish from Delhi upto 31st Dec 2008 (he did not give any receipt but gave his mobile no. and said if anyone calls from Delhi on this issue i can refer his name) and he said no one would call me anyone asking for payment.

                                Within 15 days i received call from Geetha another ABN AMRO executive asking me to make a payment of Rs. 6500 towards late payment charges for loan account 9173462. When i told her i have already made the payment, she insisted me to make a cheque payment for this amount to avoid my name reflecting in CIBIL though i told her that i dont have that much money now.

                                Bank executives started callin on my mothers mobile no. and disturbing her. she is a school teacher and she is being repeatedly called for making payment. She is in middle of her school exams and results by this continuous disturbance (she was called nearly 25 times) she is mentally disturbed and not able to concentrate on her school work.

                                For last one week or so i have been getting calls from asking for this payment. Since last 3 days, i have received nearly 40 calls asking for payment of Rs. 5000/- to be made by credit card only even though i said i would make a cash payment. Mr. Yogesh (calls himself Supervisor) informed me to make arrangement to make payment either through my Credit card or some others card (Relatives and Friends), but by card only. I told him that i dont hold any credit card and do not know of anyone who would agree to make payment through Credit card.

                                I requested Mr. Yogesh that due to the number of calls that me and my mother have received, we are mentally drained and disturbed not able to think what and why and where i am going, to give me weeks time so that the entire amount will be paid to clear the loan with ABN AMRO once for all.

                                I request the bankers to give me sometime to think, so that i can make arrangements as soon as possible to clear the entire loan amount. Also let me know if there is any forum where i can address this request so that my parents are not disturbed.

                                  Today (10 June 2008), I received a call from ABN AMRO collection department, a lady Mamta called me up saying my name has been put on Satyam's defaulter's list. I was surprised to know that the bank has will take such cheap actions.

                                  It has been around one year, I haven't used this card, since there is an ongoing issue associated with my account. The bank added a Home insurance (ICICI Lombard) worth Rs. 5999.00 to my credit card account just to generate business. They never asked me before adding this insurance or charging me for this. When I saw this charge, I queried the charges and then I came to know that they added the insurance without my consent.

                                  I was told that I would need to contact ICICI Lombard to cancel it. I did that and also sent a written letter and an email to ABN as well but all in vein. They didn't remove the insurance and kept on charging me. Thinking that this will soon be resolved, I kept on paying the bills but they didn't do anything.

                                  When I refused to pay, I received a call from Supriya from Escalation and told me that she would do the needful and asked me to make a payment. Please read the following email that I sent to Supriya:

                                  Hi Supriya,

                                  As per our conversation on Thursday (21 June 2007), I'm emailing you my query about the charges on my statement. You called me from [protected]. I've been charged and I'm being charged every month for a HOME INSURANCE by ICICI lombard. I never requested for this insurance and it's been added to my ABN AMRO card account. I don't know any ICICI lombard people. That is you (ABN) who is charging me I never gave any instruction to ABN to debit me for this insurance. I never gave any signed document which states that I agreed to add the insurance. I did receive a call from ICICI and one of the agents was briefing me about the insurance when I refused to the insurance, he said he'll send me some documents which will tell me more about the insurance and if I send the docc with my signature they'll add the insurance. I never returned the docc. He also said that I would receive a phone call from ABN as a confirmation call once I sent the docc for me to permit them to charge me. I never received a call from ABN either. All I received or am receiving is bill statement with insurance charges on it.

                                  I won't contact ICICI and I want you to take actions against the agent or ICICI.

                                  You told me that you've credited 5999.99 to my account, which blocked my credit limit. If this is true, that's very nice of you yet you still need to refund me the amount I paid for the insurance charges for last 4 to 5 months. I request you to apply the necessary credit to my account or else I'll look forward to put this issue before Consumer Court, as I'm seeking advice from my lawyer.

                                  I think I deserve some sort of compensation also.

                                  As per your advice, I've given a cheque of Rs. 5000.00 to your agent. I hope this must have been updated on my account.

                                  They then reversed the charges and then on the next statement what I saw was they added the charges once again. I contacted them and they promised the charges will be removed but it never happened.

                                  My card is deactivated since May 2007, and I haven't used it since then and told them wouldn't use until this issue is sorted. two months back, I sent the card back to them making my intentions clear that I am canceling the account and asked them to contact me with the correct amount, which I think is around 1500.00 but they want me to pay somewhere around 8800.00.

                                  Why I should pay what I don't owe. Please advise me how to get my name removed from Satyam's defaulter's list.

                                  Are you able to resolve this this way or I would need to go to the Consumer court physically. Do you need all the email conversations since the issue arose, I'll be able to provide you.

                                  few days before i got a call from abm amro and the guy who was calling told that they are putting my name in the defaulters list and they are fwding the case to cibil. the lady was not even speaking properly, she talked to me in wrong manner. abm amro has charged me with 7000 rupees. i have never done a single transaction with this credit card, when they offered the card they told that it's free of cost after that they charged me with this amount. now they are calling me every other day and saying they will do a settlement with rupees 3000, this is a harassment of mine.
                                  This referes to my credit card # - [protected].

                                  My concern was that my name has been erroneously updated in the records of ABN Amro Bank. While applying for credit card, i had opted for my name to be updated as Sandhya Smijith and all the documents which i had enclosed carried the same name.

                                  However, when I received the card + statements, i came to know that the name has been erroneously updated as Sandhya B.

                                  During last week i applied for a Cash loan amounting to Rs.87000.00, the customer representative was very enthusiastic while processing the loan, however when i told him about my concern on name correction, he confirmed that the DD would carry correct name. Later on i came to know that he was least bothered abount my concern whereas was concerned about his own benefit. Very bad.. i felt so bad that such a reputed bank is doing this...

                                  Then i contacted Mr. Harmesh Shah who introduced himself as a Supervisor/Manager handling all over Mumbai. As per his request, copy of my PAN card and signed letter was faxed to his attention. He assured me that the name will be corrected upon receipt of the fax.

                                  The next day, when i contacted, some other representative confirmed receipt of the fax, however informed that it would take another 3-4 more days to get it processed, which made me out of temper. However, i tried maintaing my manners and informed him that i was in need of money and i need the same before 25th of this month. If the DD carries a wrong name, i cannot encash it.

                                  The same story, iam repeating for past 5-6 days... however, nobody is bothered in the Bank to address my concerns... Iam also working in the same class of job and i know max of how many days it would take for a slight name correction...

                                  i hope a favourable redressal/reply for my greivance asap...

                                  ABN AMRO Credit Card — WRONG LATE FEES AND INCORRECT ACCOUNT STATEMENT

                                  Hi,

                                  This is with reference to abn amro credit card number [protected].

                                  My account is wrongly debited by late fee charges, and is running late by
                                  1 month as ABN AMRO records.

                                  I have spoken with customer service advisors with atleast 20 times over the
                                  last 8 months, yet this has not been rectified.

                                  Also I have sent an email about the same previously to
                                  [protected]@in.abnamro.com, on 21st Jan 2009, however there has been no response.


                                  My outstanding amount of 31, 000 was converted into an emi of
                                  18 months, which came to a monthly emi of 2160.00.

                                  Since 8 of 18 emi's has been paid, I am left with Rs 2160 * 10 = Rs 21, 600.00.

                                  The late fees charged are not correct as cheques deposited on 17th for a due date of 25th
                                  get cleared after 5th, which is the bank's responsibility and not mine.

                                  However, the bank refuses to accept any mistakes on their part and wont rectify them.

                                  I have now stopped my EMI's and written to them about the same.

                                  However, nothing seems to have changed.

                                  Could you kindly look into this matter and resolve this.

                                  In my case also, bank had charged late fees of 750 for one month delay in EMI payment of Rs.2497/-...
                                  Subsequently bank had demanded to pay for Rs.3000/-as EMI, whereas I was paying amount of rs.2497/- regularly.

                                  ABN bank had charged Rs.750/- every month and after one year demanding Rs.9000/- of late payment...

                                  Now they had increased EMI for 9 month. whereas as per my record it is 5 EMI is pending

                                  Above incidents seems, ABN AMRO BANK cheated me and asking late payment of Rs.9000/- after making regular payment with one late payment of EMI out of 19 EMI regular payment.

                                  Kindly advise for the same.

                                    My name is Tofiqu Mansuri. I have my saving account with ABN AMRO, Sakhar Bhawan, Nariman Point, Mumbai since 2005.

                                    I had received a letter form the bank in the May, 2008 for the residence proof to be submitted and I had submitted it on 24th May'08 and also go it aknowleged. The due date to sbumit was 26th May'08 .

                                    On 2nd June, 2008 evening I went to banks ATM to withdraw money from account as I need cash but to my surprise I got the reply 'Invalid Transaction'. So immediately I went to the branch for the help and there they checked and said that my account is closed verbally stating reason 'Supcious Trasactions' and told me that you will receive the the Payorder of balance amount by courier.

                                    I requested them to reactive the account as there is some mistake and they also agreed but said that they can't do anything once the account is closed.

                                    So I requested to give me the cash and not to courier the Payorder as the account was closed on that date. They inquired and found the payorder was not couriered but said that as the amount is above 20, 000/- we can't give cash and handed me the payorder. At that time I needed the cash and I was in a position like 'Samunder de pass ho kar bhi pyasa tha'. I had money but as payorder and to open another account and get the payoder credited takes minimum 4 days.

                                    I had to borrowed the money, which was so humiliating I had not done it in my life.

                                    Now I dont know what step should I take against the bank that this thing does not happen to any other account holder.

                                    Please guide me.

                                      We have applied for Credit card at that time we have been told that you will received Return tirticket from jet airways across 32 state in india.two days before i got my credit card but i havent recived any air ticket with that packet.

                                      we are two people who applied for credit card and we havt received any ticket for this.

                                      request you to please look in to this or Guide us on this issue.

                                        well I knw ...matter has been sorted out but...this is the case with the financial institution and technicalitites can be buyable for Media and telecom...but not applicable for Banking Sector...
                                        It took 8 hrs -10 hrs for the IT dept for solution...So u can very well understand the efficiency of IT department of Bank...upon whom millions of People rely...
                                        Although the Cust.Care of ABN AmRO were not sure whether systems were working on Banks of ABN...
                                        On esclation of issue ...i spoke to Manager..over the phone and was instructed to take out cash from nearest ABM Amro Bank...deposting the Cheque
                                        As per their suggestion I went to Bank ...but i was refused ...So u can understand...that Consumer are used on Trail ...
                                        It would have been more better...if Custmer care would have checked before giving any HOPE...

                                        NB: The issue was not with server ...because one of the Agent said...we have End month Closing..So Data Uploadation are being done...
                                        So its mandate for the Financial Institution to Educate the Consumer abt the Time..either by call Or mail..

                                        I like to inform to you that sir, I have availed a personal loan from M / s. ABN AMRO ( Loan number 9404467) and have being paying dues clearly and regularly.

                                        I have been called by one madam Ms. Viji phone No: 0422 – 4200094 and informing me about top up facility. During the time of process she told the following points.

                                        1. The loan amount will be 5 lakhs but they will deduct what is the old loans pending. Which I have agreed but what I was sanctioned only 4 lakhs.
                                        2. They said interest rate is 18% PA since I have availed the old loan at 18% PA only – but now the bank has charged 18.65% PA
                                        3. They said the processing fee will 1% to amount which will be disbursed but bank has charges me Rs. 5882 + Rs 1309 as joining fee which I don’t understand.
                                        4. Neither I was informed about insurance also. Which is deducted in the balance amount
                                        5. Bank has charges me Rs. 506.00 as miscellaneous charges which I don’t understand what for?
                                        6. They said the loan due date will be by 8th of every month as like the old one. Now Bank has given me a letter stating that the due is 1st of every month. I have been disbursed with a loan DD on 18th of July which reaches by 20th of July. So my first due comes to me within 10 days. So every month I pay my due 20 days in advance resulting in loss of interest.

                                        Bank has sent me also the un used cheques which I have with me. (Old Loans 9404467)



                                        When I called complained to bank on 20.07.08 they have given me complaint no: 2495 and said bank will call me within 24 to 48 hrs which didn’t happen again I called complained to one Mr. Vineet and complain number is 212495 and again nothing has happened. ( Complain date : 24.07.08)

                                        Under the above mentioned circumstance’s and since I have no option I am returning herewith the DD 932609dated 18.07.2008 for Rs. 2, 45, 577.68 sent to me and request to close my new account.

                                        I want the old loan to continue for which I am ready to give cheque’s for.

                                        Please note when I called bank person said they will give stop instruction for DD’s clearance also.

                                        Please note I am giving stop payment for my new personal A/c no: 9483293 cheque / ECS and if the bank needs. I can immediately despatch cheque for remaining amount dues/ Installments of loan number 9404467.

                                        Kindly let me know what should I do? Sir, please note I have been ABN AMRO Bank’s regular customer and my track record will reflect you the same.

                                        Hoping the issue is solved and like to continue my good relationship with the bank.
