I am Abn Amro Card holder, my credit card no is [protected] Bank had charge Rs 4000/-, ST and other charrs on my credit card without asking me any thing? I don’t know what they had charged? And why they had charged? I want to stop this ford done against my credit card
As per bank my total out standing Rs.17574/- which is actually only Rs. 12237.54
and against this I had already given cheque ch no 813677 dt 15.02.08 hdfcbank Rs12237.54

I had purchase RUPEES 8200 FROM GREAT EASTERN TRADING COMPANY with useing my ABN-AMRO CREDIT CARD
GOLD CARD NUMBER IS[protected] XXXX NAME :-TARUN KR.BERA ,BUT THEY SEND ME
BILL AMOUNT IS RS 13256.20
Hi, these were even levied on me. I too have had major issues with the bank, how have you dealt with it? i am trying to find a solution now from a third party. As for the last one yera despite repeated requests i havent been able to get a closure from the bank. Do tell me how you have sorted it out.

    I am Deepti Menon from Mumbai. I have been using ABN Amro credit card since 2006. I have been a good customer paying all my dues before time. My credit card was misused by someone for online transactions worth Rs 22, 000 for ticket reservations. On informing the bank, I was told to file a complaint to the Police and send them a copy of the same. Once they receive the letter they would reverse the charges. But its been 2 months now, I keep getting calls from collections department. Upon calling up the customer service department they say that as the transactions done had prompted for CVV number and other verifications, I am liable to pay the amount. I dont think its just fair. There is no security provided for credit cards. It is very easy for the culprit to take note of the credit card number and CVV number without any difficulty.

    I am asked to bear the amount for which I have not made. Other credit cards like HDFC Bank now have come up with password protection for any online transation by credit cards which is a good service. Also they have sms facility whenever a transaction is made (on the same date with all details of the transaction). All such facility is missing with ABN Amro and due to which I came to know about this fraudulence only after the bill date.

    The bank should reconsider my issue and reverse the charges.

    ABN Amro Bank/Credit Card — Irretating Calls from ABN Amro Bank

    Dear Sir,

    This is to bring in your kind notice that I am
    receiving repeated calls from ABN Amro Bank from
    Contact No.[protected] they speak that I have dues of
    some amount in Credit card.

    Even I have spoken to them many times
    before that I have never even applied for any credit
    card of any bank.

    I droped my complain around 8-10 monthes at their Online Complaint System too.

    At that time I was in USA and even now I am out of
    country and their people are irretating me on my
    international roaming and same situation occured that
    time too.

    Even later on matter was cleared that time too that name was
    mine but address was different in their database as it
    was from the same company and same name as mine.


    I will really appreciate their people stop
    irretating me and my family members.

      This is Surabhi having SB A/C no. 956605 with ABN AMRO for last 4 years.

      I have two compalints with ABN AMRO Bank

      1. I have applied for Net Banking user id and password 2 months back but the request was not registered and it got delayed. It came to me only after I personally visited Gurgaon Branch twice. I got my transaction id and password and as suggested I changed that too. But, when I tried doing a transcation it was saying invalid transaction password. I contacted Bank by Phone, they said they were resetting and sent the new password. Again, same problem happened while making a transaction. Third time, I got a Transaction password which worked, but just after 2 days, I received another Transaction password, though I havent requested for the same. And after that, it didnt work.
      Till date, I have received 4 transaction passwords but I am unable to make any transaction.

      2. Once again, I called up Bank by Phone and they suggested me that it might be due to my Maestro Debit card and hence took my request for a new Master Debit Card. I was promised a delivery within 7 -10 working days but its already more than 15 working days and my grievance is not yet addressed. Phone Banking officers are unable to address my problem and I am tired of repeating same story to everyone in your CUSTOMER CARE.

      I request to the Bank officials to look into this and do the needful.

      After posting my complaint on this portal, I got a prompt reply from the bank and they have solved my problems.

      Want to thank the higher officilas of ABN AAMRO who took this seriously and helped me resolving the problem.
      As my salary account of my orgaization tie up with ABN-AMRO bank, I newly joined in this organization by april 2008 I was suppose to open an account for my salary amount credit. I submitted my application in Chennai ABN-AMRO bank branch in person with one of your executive namely Mr.Mahesh Vasan and they gave me the wel come kit along with debit card, cheque book, and other necessary details. They said acount will activate with in two days. But my acount was not activated till now. When I asking the concern person he said its already activated, but I did get any SMS or Email from ur bank. I was submitted my documents on 26/04/2008.
      Again I called the concern person and asked about my account activation and he said again its activated. so I remitted my salary cheque from Delhi branch of ABN-AMRO to chennai branch on 08/05/2008 bur yet not I had my money in my hand either cash or by account.

      Please refer to our Email/letter dated[protected] matter is we have deposited cheque on the 7th march’ 2008 credit to our account 25th April’ 2008 l.e. after one & half month chasing several times you have credited our account with Indian currency amount. Same day we deposit 2nd Cheque Since the 1st Cheque was cleared.

      We have not send Export Shipment original Document a party not making payments. Immediately on your credit receipt we courier the original Export Shipment Document to the party as credit goes received. (Copy of Courier AWB enclosed) Total Shipment value is of EURO 5403/-. Now again today 2nd cheque also you gave credit on 3rd of June 2008 and issued advice as well as FIRC. (FIRC Mean Confirm EURO Credit) (Photo Copy is Enclosed) same way you are asking the refund.

      Because of your blunder mistake we released the original documents. Now please inform us now the bank going to reimburse the full amount of the Export Shipment which party has taken. Why we should loose our amount because of banker’s mistake. Immediately inform us the out come of the matter. We have already two times send Email & Letter our relationship manager Mr. Kevin D’souza & Miss Vanessa, if you failed to reply, now we have to take legally through our solicitors.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I made a transaction of Rs.1500/- dt. 06-12-08 through IDBI Bank twice, but both the times its shows Transaction is invalid, i tried twice, both the times result was same, after that they deducted rs.3000/- from my acoount, kindly refund the same asap as I hadn't got money from the same. It affects the reputation of your bank, please solve this problem asap.

      It affects trust of customer so this kind of problem should be resolved soon so that customer should not loose trust on you.

      Your account will be convertded Saving Account So your minimum balace is less than Rs.10000/ so i have deduct service charge per month

      * Not receive monthly statement continiously.
      * Phone banking facility not available, we find through the net[protected] this phone no not working fine. i'll try most of the time.but still it show busy or massage reflect like this is not valid no.

      Please please note that though I have a zero balance salary account with your bank since September 2009 still Rs 441/-- has been deducted from my account totally unauthorisedly and without any logic by dishonouring ecs facility today 8th march 2010..when your bank by phone exe first informed your system remains down and from the second time onwords no responses are there. This is the high degree of callousness and nonethical practise i have ever seen in my life.I want my money back ASAP..

      Please note that at the time of transction the balance was Rs1097/ which was more than sufficient two honour two ecs total Rs 1000..This is rediculous and required immediate action..

      Abn Amro Debit card — Unable to login to Netbanking

      I was using Abn Amro corporate account on the year[protected].After that I havent used it.I used to login to netbanking with my user id : "896578NS" before for my debit card.Now I am unable to login on the account .It says invalid.

        Threatening phone calls

        I have taken ABN AMRO Bank credit card 5 years back which is free for first 1 year to try.
        After 1 year, I called up customer care to close the card after clearing the dues. And they said they did!
        But still I used get statements every month showing annual fee due payment.
        And I used to call every 15 days to make sure that my card is closed.
        First time, I was told that I need not worry and everything is fine.br...

        I had a ABN-AMRO Credit Card No.- [protected], which was for 1 yr. and during that 1 year i submitted my card payment on time. and when it expired, i sent a mail that i don’t want to pay Fee for Renewal card so kindly cancel my credit card account. and I destroyed my Expiry card.

        But after few months I received a Credit card statements of 30,000/- and when i complained in ABN Amro that I don’t have any Valid card, so How can i purchase? SO they told they sent me a Renewal card and along with an Add on Renewal card (of my father) at my billing address. So i surprised coz I didn’t receive any Renewal card.

        And after that every month i received Calls from Collection department of ABN-Amro. and every time I told them that I didn’t have any card, so why should i pay? So they tried to convince me for Settlement, but I REFUSED... But from last 2 months nobody rang me for payment.

        But suddenly on 5-Feb-2008. I received a call from Delhi Number ([protected] ) and he told me that he is PA of Lawyer Dinkar and Today at 3 pm, they will file a case against me in Delhi Court. and the Bail amount for that case is 21000/- and for that I have to present in Delhi court on 8-Feb-2008. and If i don’t want any problem then I have to call Lawyer Dinkar (Legal Department) at [protected] or [protected].

        And As I called him, He told me Mr. Dinkar is not here, I m handling this case, I am Suresh (working under Lawyer Dinkar) and I[censored] want to resolve your problem then U have to Pay Rs. 37,000/- of Credit card payment. SO I told him that, I already complained in ABN that they didn’t send me Renewal Card, so why should I pay? And I asked him about any concern person of ABN-AMRO, with whom i can talk to resolve my problem. So he told me that There is NO concern person of ABN and now case is in LEGAL Dept and If i will not pay 37000/-, then they will file case against me. Then he advised me to pay installments. And he told me that they sent me LEGAL NOTICE twice at my residential address, but I didn’t revert. SO I said I didn’t receive any Notice. But he told that He sent me that Notice twice...So I told him that i have to check my account for money and for that I need some time. SO he told me that I had time till 3 pm, and b4 that if i will not pay 37000/- rs to ABN, they will file a case against me..

        And after that I went my area Post office and after checking records they told me that there was no such kind of Registered Post of my Billing address... And after sometime Mr. Suresh again called me and told me that If i will pay 25000/- in 2 installments to ABN, then they will settle my case. SO I said I don’t have enough money right now and right now i can give only 4000/- rs and for rest amount I need time of few days...So He said ok, U pay 4000/- cash right now, and one executive will come at ur place and after taking money he will give u a receipt... So as normal human being, I don’t want any court case against me.. So I paid 4000/- rs coz i don’t want any problem...And after getting receipt I called Mr. Suresh and tell him Receipt number and told them that I need few days to arrange. So he told me that He will again call me on Saturday...........

        On Saturday (9-Feb-2008) Mr. Suresh ([protected]) again called me for remaining amount, but I told him that in this month, I don’t have money left, and as i already paid Rs 4000/-in this month, So i m not in a state to pay more, So I will pay again on next month...So He said ok!!

        But on[protected] I received a call from [protected], And the person said, He is calling from Delhi Police station and they had my Warrant, so they wanted to confirm my Address... But When I asked him that for what, they had my Warrant....... So he said, Mr. Suresh filed a case against me and Now Warrant has been issued ....... So U can do one thing that talk to Mr. Suresh, and he gave me his new number ([protected])....... and suggest me to talk to him, So that he can cancel my Warrant........So I called Mr. Suresh and said him about the Warrant issued...... SO he said yes, He filed a case against me.... But When I told him that, As i already paid Rs 4000/- this month and i told him already that this month i m not in a position to give more money, SO I will pay in next month..... So he denied and told me, That Now Warrant has been issued, And the bail amount is Rs 12,600/- for this warrant...and then he told me, that I m a thief, Who stole Bank Money and told me that, I have to pay Rest 33,000/- Rs today itself and after depositing money, when i will FAX him the copy of Receipt, then he will cancel my warrant...... Otherwise he can’t do anything....... And he also told me that I have time for today till 5 pm........ If i will pay, then ok! Otherwise i can keep my phone.......

        As i have already complained for Non- Receiving of my Renew Credit Card in ABN-Amro, near around 1 year back, but I didn’t get any response till date................. And I paid Rs 4000/- in this month (Paid that amount, which i didn’t use), and told him to pay rest on next month... SO why did he filed a case against me????????

        And now Mr. Suresh is giving me Mental Tension and He is mentally Harassing me.... And for Mr. Suresh I m very Pissed and Tensed........ As he mentally tortures me, for that my social life is spoiling.....And Family life is spoiling......

        So kindly look in to the matter and ask Mr. Suresh that Why did he Filed that case, when I paid rs 4000/- in this month and will pay again on next month....... So why did he filed a case against me?????????????

        And If he Filed a case, Then as per rule, he must have send me Legal Notice before submitting, But I didn’t receive any Legal Notice from his end....... And as much I know, If i will not revert his Legal Notice, then he can file a case against me, and after filing the case, He must have send me SAMMAN..... But I didn’t receive any such kind of paper (SAMMAN).... So how did he say that Warrant against me has been issued?????????????

        Now I m complaining about this incident coz I am very tensed and Frustrated..... And If for this Frustration and Tension If anything will happen with me, then Mr. Suresh ([protected]) will responsible for that.........

        So Its a request to you, to look into the matter... As I already have credit card of ICICI, SBI, CITI, BOB, HSBC and I always paid there bills on time in every month. and U can check it in my account.... But I didn’t pay this amount coz I didn’t use this money, nor i receive ur renewal credit card........ SO my conscious didn’t allow me to pay that money....... SO Kindly look into the matter.... As I am a very simple living person and I m very very Tense for Mr. Suresh, and If this frustration if anything bad will happen with me, then Mr. Suresh will responsible for that........

        Plz look into the matter, Looking forward to prompt and positive response from ur end..

        similar problems but not as harsh
        I was holding a abn amro credit in the year of 2004. Bank has sent me statement that my card was used in Japan. and that was out of my credit limit. after fighting so many months, given them my passport copy and relevent details. they were not agreed. And one of their legal officer Blaim me very fullish that " i have given card to someone and that person has utilized it" and after that i have made so many minimum payment by assuring them that they will reembuirse the amount, But result was zero and finally they have right off the amount and put my name in to sibil(reserve bank india's site, for banker's) and they have spoil my financial reputation. Please advise me that by which authorized agency i can complaint and resolve these issue. ????

        ur credit card department sleeping every time why sending me every month statment, i don't have any outstanding in ur credit card department, why are disturbing every time, please rectify that problem, other wise i have taking action againts credit card department
        Dont panic they are trying to fear you. This process is called hard calling, you will recieve all the calls from a mobile and not a landline. These are their call centre employe calling you.'
        1st rule : Never panic if you are right, let them come out with solid evidence and prove it.
        2nd Rule: Never give your landline number while taking any credit card
        3rd Rule: Change your Cell phone number, in case these credit card guys harass you.
        4th Rule: Always register a FIR with local police station in extreme case, if they knock your DOOR.
        5th Rule: if you get scared, people in this country will never miss a chance to take advantage of you. so be bold and face it straight. believe me you will much better, relaxed and happy.
        Ya, I do have many credit cards like ( SBI, HDFC, ICICI, ABN, ……) But out of that I have problems with ABN only.

        1) In the month of SEP 2007 with ABN credit card I have taken petrol of Rs. 340/- apprx. But in my 1st statement of OCT 2007 total amount due was Rs. 1082/- which included 350 rupees late fee. I was having no answer for it, that in my 1st ever statement it was more then double amount.
        I was having no option other than to talk to customer care. They asked me to first pay the whole amount than only the late fee & other charges will be credited in your next bill.
        But they cheated me by asking me to pay first. Till date no credit have been made.

        2) According to your customer care my total purchases can be converted into monthly installments(EMI), it was the best service I was heard of. In month of March I made a purchase of mobile of Rs. 17940/-. It was very good that without my request customer care them self ask me for this option. It was like asking food to a hungry boy.
        I said yes to this option. I received verification call for the same.
        But they had put one condition that you will have to pay your previous minimum due amount of Rs. 1000/- only. And to have this EMI option I will have to pay some one time charges. In my statement of 05/04/2008 I found some financial charges and even credit of my Rs. 1000/- paid.
        But in my statement of 05/05/2008 there was no such option of EMI. More over statement stated late fee & again some financial charges. I was not able to trace that which customer care executive have given me such fake offer of EMI.

        I would say it was my good luck, again one call from DELHI ask me to make the payment of minimum due of Rs.1672/-. I had made this payment to his executive on the same day. He offered me option of EMI conversion of my outstanding. But this time I make sure of his identity and even his contact number. His name is AKAASH THAKUR ( Sr. collection officer) & he has given contact no. of his office friend RAHUL [protected].
        As he has called himself as Sr. collection officer, I was having no other option then to believe him. But it was again the same story. I had call him back for the same and after his refusal, I had refused to pay my further bill.

        Now what to do & whom to trust on.

        This is story of only one customer…………….. there will be many like me. I don’t have money to pay my total outstanding in 1 or 2 installment. So I don’t have any other option then to complaint regarding such miss leading fake commitment to the customer which lead them to such thing.

        ABN AMRO Smart Credit Card — Sending statements despite the bank being given instructions that the card has been closed

        In March 2008, I had directed ABN AMRO Bank's credit card closure department (24 hour bank by phone service)to close the card due to various reasons. The executive who answered the call confirmed closure instructions and said that appropriate action will be taken after I cleared the pending dues, which I duly complied with (details can be furnished). Thereafter, I have recieved numerous calls and an email asking for reasons for closure and pleas for not closing the card. My response has been consistently informing them that the card has already been closed.

        In July they send another statement with an e-mail "alert" stating that the pending amount (?????) needs to be paid immediately. Have spokenat various times to the executives over the phone but to no avail.

        Request that the closure date be reinstated and all pending dues be witdrawn.

There was no communication either telephonically or written mail with any of your executive for up-gradation of this card. As an unavoidable issue first it has been upgraded and an extra amount of 5000/ Rs. have been marked as processing fees for that.

        There fore I request you to take this issue as prime concern to exempt this amount. As I am no way interested and liable in paying this forceful amount, so if it is not possible to exempt this amount I need a proof of my request for up-gradation and card cancellation effective from same date.

        I have stopped using my ABN AMRO Card almost 3years ago and now I have been NRI back since 2+ years. These bank officials are now threatening my parents making frequent calls and threatening to make my details standing as defaulter for every bank on SIBI records of RBI.

        I had no payments to make and still I find my parents have been troubled in their old age. I certainly hope to file a case against them in consumer forum. Can any one please give details how to approach the consumer forum or Bank ombudsman or any other regulatory body in our Indian judiciary. I certainly want to teach them a lesson being a educated and knowledged about our judicial procedures.

        We must not tolerate such jeopardy where they mistreat costomer and they vandalise their costomary relation by ringing inappropriate situations for irrelevant circumstances.

        Following are my few problems with ABN Bank and needs to seen seriously by the management.

        • Easy Cash DD for Rs 14000-
        o I immediate refunded the DD to Collection department-
        o Why the EMI of the same hit to my statement for a year once DD was refunded to the bank? and reminded for the same
        • Air Ticket
        o Why the ticket amount came to my account which I dint receive and dint avail this facility?
        • Late fee charges
        o I always deposit payment check ontime, I have already escalated the matter with ABN Customer Care about it. Why the Late fee is charged to my account
        • Interest charged on above components
        o Interest on account of Late Fee, DD & Ticket charged on my account.
        • Harassing calls from your Collection Department.
        o I have received threatening calls from your collection which I have already reported.
        • Records not available in your customer care record.
        o I have been in touch with your Call centre since starting which is not available in your record.I have one recording in my cell phone.
        o Whenever I spoke to your CC executive they said this will be reversed, you pls don’t worry.

          I had a ABN Amro Credit Card with me. I received a call strainght from the Collections agancy stating that a non bailable warrent has been issed in my name and i need to produce myself in the court the very next day. I have stopped using and destroyed the card for close to ne year now on the advise of their Customer care executive. I dont know why they are contacting me now after one year of making payments and asking for mone money which is still due.

          I had made all the payments and came to a settlement with the customer care agent on an amount which they agreed for me to pay as said that my card account will be closed.

          Well, I have decided that I am not going make this payment.
          I only wish this Consumer Forum takes up this issue seriously and puts the bank with all their executives in proper place!

            Dear Sir,

            My Name is Rahul Semwal and I would like to inform you that I had taken one Car Overdraft Account opened with ABN Amro Bank towards my Car ( CAR OVERDRAFT ACCOUNT NO. 1031414). Would like to inform you that ABN Amro Representative Ms. Kusum/Mr. Shammi /Ms. Ashta from ABN Amro Bank Hansalaya Building called me up and said last month that they have closed this services and now they want to settle this account and as per them settlement was done for 75000/- and I have accordingly paid them the entire amount by cash as well as by Pay Order and as per them ABN Amro I have paid entire outstanding to them and settled the account but now When I ask for the NOC towards the same they have not issued me NOC towards the settled account.

            I am constantly followig up with Bank Representatives but Ms. Kusum/Mr. Shammi/Ms Asha giving me falst commitment that due to technical problem they are unable to issue me the NOC towards the same and This is happening from last one month and despite they have closed my account they are still not sending me statment with intrest and late payment fees debiting from account as well as their Collection team is harrasing me very much despite I made entire payments to ABN Amro Bank.

            I had sent mails to them for issuing me NOC but still nobody is neither responding back to me neither issuing me NOC.

            I am very much harrased by this Bank and want to take action against them as now unnecessarily I have to beg around with ABN Amro Bank for issuing the NOC.

            Would highly appreciate, if strict action can be taken against this BANK so that nobody should be cheated in future.

              I have a credit card account with ABN AMRO, I got a call from [protected] and the agent asked for the payment, said him will make the payment with in 2 days, but he was not aggering.The agent on call was abusive(Such as Bhosdike ECT.....),Informed him to be professional but he started thretning, so disconnected the call, although the payment is already been done. And ABNAMRO is not taking any action,infact they are not ready to accept that the agent have used any abusive language, so said them to go through recorded call and call me back, but after that there is no responce.

                I am holding an ABN AMRO freedom card from the past two years and currently I had got a call from tthe bank for one of their promos of Holidaying for which I ha drefused but still got a charge of Rs. 4500/- on my card. Later after I had made a complaint I got a call as an apology from the bank personnel and a reversal statement verbally. Just today after 10 days I get a call from the local bank for the collection of the dues and that the pending amount is still 7000/ - plus which includes the promo charges. It at times is so difficult when you get such calls when you are amidst a meeting and at the same time when you explain you still get a reply that they are not aware of the reversal and would only reflect in the next statement. Does that mean that a customer would be bullied till the next statement is made or is there any system of stopping this.

Since I was on my personal tour in the middle of February, 2008 in Muzaffarpur (Bihar State) where no branch / ATMs of their bank were located and in the same time my one EMI was due to be paid to his bank, I purchased a State Bank of India Demand Draft bearing no.308884 dated[protected] for Rs.1656.65 and sent the same through ordinary post to the bank at their New Delhi office. Unfortunately the captioned DD was received by them in early April, 2008; late by 1 & half months. This shows claearly carelessness of the postal department and not of mine because the amount was already paid in cash by me for the bank DD well in time. My EMI was to be due for payment on 27th of every month and I sent my instalment well in advance in February, 2008. I therefore request you to get my late fee of Rs.583.77 waived at the earliest.

                abnamro credit card — Collection agents are disturbing

                I am using the credit card of ABN AMRO since 2005.I always paid in time. whenever I fail to pay before due date by any mistake their collection agents behaves very rudely and even in the last occassion they started calling 15 days before the due date with a rude and abusing manner. today the call came from the no. [protected] at 12 noon and said he (Mr. Ajay as he said) is calling from the headqtr of ABNAMRO asking for the dues as per the statement date 15th May though the due date is 04-june. I said I already paid the last due on[protected] and I can pay only once in a month. And he started doing mental hazards so that this time I pay immedately.
                My card no is - [protected]. And the call was for the Easy-Pay Loan where due amount is not much. Please look into the matter otherwise my mental condition is very much depressed by the humiliation.

                I think the best way to get these guys are by complain to Police and then police will take care of those guys but, remember that you must have full proof of payment made.
                Mention to Police that I am mentally torchared by these guys.
                and dont worry, talk to them confidently and politely bcoz from your side there must not be any rude words.
                and you must also try to minimise the use of Credit cards and for you want to clear all your depth of credit card just go to bank and bargen for low interest rate and time to clear your request.

                ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Wrong information by ABN AMRO on Satyam

                I am really surprised when i got the information that ABN AMRO BANK has put my name in Satyam Defaulter List, I wish to go consumet court to take action against these people.
                I was gold card member(paid), also paid life time membership fees.
                Someone misused my card and booked Air tickets on line, ABN has all details of those people still they have taken lot of time to sort out the matter.I was regularly sending Fax msgs/emil to them providing all details still these people keep on charging late payment fees and interest on those outstanding which was a fraud.This also i mentioned several times.Spoken to their executives also but nothing happened.One fine day, one of their rep called me for full and final settlement of payment, i made the payment immediately.I have been informed that my card would be operative in day or two.
                It is a simple case of fraud by ABN, they have not refunded Gold card & Life time membership fees and put my name on Satyam Defaulter List.This is spoiling my image.I am highly quilified person, working with MNC at very senior poisition.
                I seek everybody 's opinion to take action against ABN.

                this is very unique way of froad being taken plaace by bank of abnamro india where in they will not place the bill for initial months then (if you are concern then also u will pay it )
                they have not sent me any bill then also i have made a payment in their dedicated drop box . then after one months they ask ur that your check has not been came... where it gone ! i dont know .. then u have to satop that .. then again u will ask them for satement they will give you a ref number of our complaint.. by that time 2 months has been over then u will recive a number of call for paying interest on the amonut then also they will not told u the real amonut they will tell u that u have 1000 balance although its two months bill has been genereted then abously u will ask the staementthen they will say that its all ready has been sent ok no issue can i raise a issue and give u the reference number again refrence number when u will be asking about ur earlier ref number then they will be saying that there has no complaint has been made... so now u have to pay withinh this date whole all amount with interst and u cannot cancel the account as they will ask u to clear the payment. and we know that we cant make all the paymennt in one shot... so give interst o n the account.

                Subject: False promises from ABN Amro associates and No proper response

                I am having a ABN Amro Gold Master card No [protected] and have been regularly been paying all my dues inspite of not receiving any statements from the bank on account of my dues. The last payment made by me was for Rs 25300/- on 21/4/2008 after which I have not used my card.
                I received a statement from 15/3/08 to 14/4/08 in which a late fee opening balance of Rs 5303 had been charged. I spoke to a customer care executive who ensured me that he will get the late charges reversed and so I paid the remaining dues of Rs 25300.

                Then again I received a statement for period 15/5/08 to 14/6/08 with a late fee accumulated from maybe Jan 2008 totalling to a due of now Rs 8225.97.

                I have had talks with innumerable customer care executives and also managers who every time since the last 3 months April, May 08 and June 08 have promised me that they will get the whole charges reversed to please pay the minimum due as they have to close the account. Since then nothing of that sort has happened and no charges have been reversed.

                I received a letter from you yesterday saying that you have debited my bank account with my minimum due.
                Detalis of my ABN Amro Gold Master card No [protected] and valid from 08/06 to 08/08.
                I am very much disgusted with the service given by ABN Amro credit cards divison and would want to have my card cancelled. Kindly revert back to me.

                If have taken Personal loan from ABN Amro Bank on 2007. For that i am paying every month Rs. 14, 810 towards EMI through ECS. Last month i travelled to my village for 10 days, for that reason i could not made the paymnet ontime. On 20th Aug 2005, ABN AMRO debited RS.506 with narration ECS DR ABN AMRO BANK - COPS-[protected] . When i try to withdraw from my village RS. 500. There was no money. I faced lot of problems with out having my bus charges. Without intimating to me they have debited from my account. They are not giving the explanation when asking the customer care.Please help me. And revert the charges.

                Debit card — Is that fault of ABN AMRO or SBI...?

                My name is Rakesh Kumar with A/c No. is 1475685 & on 12/10/2008, I was having 1000 Rs.+ in my Salary A/c & I was using my DEBIT CARD for making a transaction, (Withdrawing Money) at ATM of SBI, (Id. S1AN[protected], which is located at Vikas Marg, DELHI.

                Before withdrawing, I have checked my balance & it was showing 1000+ & then I entered cash to be withdrawn as 900 Rs, when a message flashed that there is INSUFFICIENT CASH IN ATM. Later on, when I was not able to withdraw amount due to the message, I just tried to check my balance.

                To my surprise I found that there was just 100+ Rs, left in my A/c. Means the transaction went right across & got processed. The amount got deducted from my A/c, but the money was not dispensed because of insufficient amount. Can you please, see to the matter about what exactly had happened with those 900 Rs which now is not shown in my Left out Balance? Also, when there was not sufficient amount in ATM, then I have gone another ATM & there also the amount shown was just 100+ in my A/c. So, I am not able to make out, what exactly had happened. So I am addressing my problem here with you. Please let me know about what and how it had happened.

                I have discussed the same while enquiring the same with an Executive @ ABN AMRO, on No.[protected]’ @ DELHI near 03:20 PM, today from where I got this Email Id. & I am addressing my problem. It is good on part of ABN AMRO to have tie-ups with SBI and many other bank’s ATM’s, but if and all this kind of things happens with valued customers, then will it not hit the moral of customers. So I do request you to personally look into the matter at earliest.
                I'm also facing lot of problems with these ABN Amro Delhi marketing guys... these guys keeps on calling me disturbing me. I told them I'm not interested in the their offers and not interested in paying some more money for this offer. But still these guys keep on calling many times in a day.                 ABN AMRO Bank — unnecessary charges in my bank statement

                I was recently hit with a charge of Rs. 4500 (WIY FEE - 3 NIGHTS 4 DAYS AT RCI RESORTS) on my credit card and i believe this is unfair.I received atleast 30-40 calls last month from ABN AMRO sales department. I told them initially that i dont need it but again they called up saying you are our privileged customer and its free of cost for you . We have chosen your name from the lucky draw. I asked them repeatedly if i will be charge for anything and the answer was no. Executive told me you will receive a call from another department and they dont know anything about this package and lucky draws.You dont have to tell your credit card numer number to them.

                I asked the verifier if i will be charged for this and she said we will not charge anything unless and until you receive the package and deposit it in ABN AMRO bank.I was unaware that i will receive charges in my statement without being told. If someone is repeatedly saying no to the package that means he or she is not interested in the deal.

                since one year iam not getting statement, lot of times i requested to send the statements, but i didnot receive . After repeatedly asking for statement at last they send 2 months duplicate statements . every month i am paying . they dont send statement and they will charge fines of Rs.600 or Rs.700 .i think this they are wantedly doing this to collect fines rather than principal payment . with this kind of abn amro crredit card we are facing lot of problems. also they have blocked some amount stating that you have taken some insurance policy. How they can do this without proper document ie, without signature, they are saying that this will be done through voice recorder . in fact i didnt opted for that insurance policy. this is straight away a big fraud. Till now i dont know what is my actual balance and how much i have paid since 1 1/2 year.R.B.I should interfere in this kind of frauds .

Many cheques has been cleared and two cheques knowingly your bank has stop proceeding the cheque, When I checked with the customer care executives of your bank they gave unnecessary subject regarding those cheque such like no proper card no was written and date was mentioned as last months. When the same checked with my Xerox copies of the cheque which was presented by me to your bank it was correct. Due to your bank mistake I have paid late fee charges too for those cheques and even though I have given one cheque to the collection executive of your bank by hand.

                Due to this problem I tried to clear up the total due of the loan taken, for that when I checked with the customer care operator the guy told me that there is a balance of 4450/- which I have to clear.

                I made up mind to clear the total loan amount in one short; when I checked with the operator for the same he said that for preclosure of loan the bank take charges of 2% extra on the balance amount. A cheque of Rs.5000/- was drop in the ATM cheque collection box with a date of 11 Sept 2008 and a letter attached to it asking your bank to refund the balance amount after deducting the loan amount with extra charges you charge for the preclosure of the loan amount.

                Now at present after 4 months of preclosure of loan, I got a call from your bank tellecaller that there is a balance of 1400 which I have to pay again after the precloser of loan. This is a dispute amount which I have not to pay any more to your bank regarding that loan taken. Kindly check the details and refund my balance amount as soon as possible.

                No more issue should be there for this loan, kindly rectify and for assistance you can call up on my mobile no [protected].

                Once i applied for credit card of abn amro bank but i was informed by the associate of bank that your request has been cancelled due to under age. He informed me that bank is not making any card for that person who is below than 25 years.
                After two years i received a call from abn amro bank that you are the credit card holder of the bank and your due is (I have forgot) pending need to pay otherwise we will make a case in court against you.
                I told the caller that i never apply for this one. caller give me the only iformation that your DOB is 10/05/81 which is wrong my DOB is 10/05/84. She refuses to give me more information about the card so that i can make specific search of card holder or need to contact the manager of the bank.

My mother never got that card activated, never used it and nor did she handed that card to anyone. However she got a call from ABN Amro bank customer care (Phone no. Recently I saw my CIBIL reflecting Written Off with high credit of Rs.7, 000/-, current balance of Rs. 2, 040/- & overdue of Rs. 1, 624/-. Kindly let me know the reason of this overdue and Written Off status which is spoiling my credit history.

                ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Bank claim or insist for the repayment of money as per your assumption in spite of full & final payment.

                Dear Sir,

                I shashi Kumar singh and I was credit card holder of ABN AMRO Bank with card no-[protected],hereby would like to inform you that I had requested for cancellation of my add on card long before but call center staff who didn’t taken action on my request and bill come along with yearly fees.

                After that againg requested for cancellation & credit the annual fee which you have as a wrongly but not received any proper response and finally same bill is came along with interest charge.

                Inspite of that we have stopped using the card and also have blocked the card of ABM AMRO BANK Credit card No-[protected].

                By then the due amount was aprox of Rs 550.00.

                In the month of July 2006,I have received a call from your person Mr. Chaudhary, Noida office regarding payment of Rs 1700/- and same time I had explain about which was wrong with me by bank.

                After discussion, we have agree to pay 1420/- as a full & final payment and your persdon has came(Mr sandeep) to my office for payment collection as was discussed with Mr. Chaudhery and we had pay by cash the same amount of Rs 1420/- as a full & final payment vide payment receipt No- 90249 dated 29/7/2006.

                Now after year, I have receive a call from BOI (whiling apply for home loan )regarding my name is in cibil website as a defaulter and saying you have outstanding aprox 470.00 Rs with ABN AMRO credit card bank.

                Can I know that,How you can claim after full & final payment.And also pls note that, any bank in the world does not have any rights to claim or insist for the repayment of money as per your assumption inspite of full & final payment.

                Requesting you,pls iform to cibil to remove my name from defaulter list.

                We are enclosing herewith payment slip of full & final payment for your reference/perusal.

                abnamro credit card — UNNECESSARY CHARGES

                this is in regard to card no - [protected] in name of vijay mishra , i am using this card more than 7 years .

                my complaints is since noveber 2009 , my actual bill is Rs 1000 /- , which i paid on prior to due date by cheque no. - 400625 , south indian bank , chandigarh - but bank did not represent in my a/c till 2 month , then i got cleared from a/c -


                now bank is imposing late fee charges and keep on accumlated it . -- for which i am not liable to pay anything - now bank is harrassing me by sending bills and telephonically .

                i had got all proof with me .

                you are requested to please intervene and solve this issue .

They were suggesting me to settle due amount on above referred card for Rs 4750/- (Four Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty only).

                  I also request for cancellation of above both credit card immediately. Amount will be pay on receipts of full & final settlement letter from your end.

                  But they were reply me that first pay the minium due amount & then give me settlement letter. How it can be possiable?

                  ABN AMRO Credit Card — ABN AMRO misguides & Cheats

                  ABN AMRO brought to our attention certain unknown and bogus charges on 16th Sept.2007 on phone; immidiately denied and disputed by us. The same was given in writing as per the Bank's advice immidiately. The bank gave us a reversal pending investigation... for 3 months the ABN AMRO Bank went silent on the issue - In our opinion they did nothing at all and are party to such fraud. All questions asked by us through various emails still remain unanswered and they have told us
                  1) We reported cards as lost - we didnot!
                  2) Transactions were swiped - We have asked them to prove as the cards are with us all along! SO they reversed that story...
                  3) That these were internet transactions - Again no details of authentication or investigation have been given....
                  All this when Bank itself called us to confirm the fraudulent nature of claimed transactions....
                  FURTHER THE BANK HAS TAKEN THE ROUTE OF MISGUIDANCE ON THE MATTER AND REFUSES TO PART WITH ANY DETAILS... HIDING THE FACTS THAT BANK'S OWN SYSTEM ARE CHEATING THE CUSTOMERS....
                  WE SHALL TAKE ALL ACTIONS TO EXPOSE ABN AMRO'S DIRTY PRACTICES and urge your support thru this forum to bring them to be answerable to our queries.

                    Respected Sir,
                    My name is Abhishek Anand.2 years before i used a ABN AMRO credit card (No [protected]) for which i have been overchardged. For around 16 month i have not received any statement or any reminder from ABN AMRO bank. No executive came to my place. Executive came before always were rude and they use abusive language.I have complained about it
                    also.

                    Yesterday you have forcefully debited Rs 14.987 from my Abn Amro salaried account(no.1193994) without any information.(Although u have all my details with u ).I have not given any right for ECI/ECS. After reducing the overcharged amount. I want to pay this money in installment. But at present my whole salary has been debited by ABN AMRO bank. Now i have nothing to pay for my daily expenses like home rent. Please help me to convert this amount to pay in intallment. I will always be
                    greatful to you.Please help as soon as possible, I am out of money. Please revert the debited amount to my salaried account. I have no options left. No body can survive without money. I am in a very painful situation for the whole incident. I am not in a position to afford this amount at a time.

                      I have received credit card statement Date 14/01/2008 . as per statement ABN AMRO charged Rs 4500 for Upgrade Fees Debit silver to Gold .

                      Said charges ABN AMRO charges with my concern even they have sent us the gold card with out my concern and confirmation , ABN couriered mr Gold card once i received the saem i called up to their customer service desk once they confirm you have to pay rs 4500 for upgrade fees on that time i refuse the saem and distroy the card and instruct them to cancle said card.

                      Now i am surprise to see 4500/- charges in my current month statement .regarding the saem i put mail to ABN but no responce received from them for confirmation i called to bank dtd 31st Jan but no action has been taken from bank .

                      abn amro gold credit card — DEBIT CHARGES OF REFUSAL AMOUNT

                      I am holding ABN AMRO Gold Credit bearing No:[protected] since 11/08. I received a call from the bank for one of the Holiday pack named 4 season debit for Rs.4999/-, and for which i have refused it. They keep on calling me for several times in that same week, and they told me they forced me accept it and in that condition also i didnt accept it. They finally told me they will debit the amount in my statement and it wont be added to my payment dues, it will just be displayed, if i want it i can pay or else i can leave it not paying, it will automatically cancelled.

                      I spoke to the customer officer today (03/04/2009) morning, and the customer officer was not listening what i am saying, he kept on saying that i have accepted it and i have topay that amount failing which i will be charged interest till i pay the amount. He never listen what i am saying, he just disconntected the line.

                      Kindly solve the problem by reversing the amount from my credit card.
                      II agree your complaint and I am also facing the same problem, recently they have started call 3-4 times a day, and they do not listen. Now they are saying that the reversal of is done but you are supposed to pay the card opening - closing charges and settle it with some discounted amount. Nevertheless last couple of times the person who is calling has used a very bad words and an abusive language. Every time they also say that the matter will go to court and so on. Please give me any guide lines on resolution of this issue or else any idea of how will we stand in a consumer forum if we raise a complaint on them.

                      Hi, I am ABN AMBRO card holder, they have upgraded my gold card to titanium without my confirmation and charged me 2500Rs.. When I called them, they told me that its upgraded we cann't do anything you have to pay money... This is completed bullish ... useless bank...                       In February I didn't Paid my installment due to Personal Problems. then I got my march Statement

                      due amount is increased to my credit limit then I got the over limit charges actually i dont no without my knowledge i got the two times again and again Rs. 2000 why they were charging like this,

                        There are 2 desputed transaction on my 2 different cards
                        1) card number[protected]XXXX has a desputed transaction of RS 4000 which was charged on my card inspite I have not agreed on the transaction by the bank.
                        2) the other card number is[protected]XXXX there was a disputed transaction of petrol purchase on december 5 2007 of rs 10250.
                        Inspite of informing to the bank by phone and in person at Sector 10 office in Noida there is no action has been taken on above 2 amounts also the bank has charged interest on these two amounts and late charges to me I am requesting you to look into this matter asap and have this cleared so that i can pay my rest of amount to the bank. I have made a payment of Rs 2000 on 24th December for card number[protected]XXXX but that reflected on card number[protected]XXXX why did this happen when i did not agreed on Rs 4000 from your customer care executive at the first instance why did bank charged me this money on stupid schemes in which i was not interested.                         I am very much disappointed with customer care services. In the moth of july i had used my ABN AMRO credit card for INR around 30, 000. After that transaction i am paying minimum amount every month but because of some reason there was some dispute in my bill i talk to customer care services several time for waiver of the late fees they added.
                        I would request you to please send me a copy of bill from july to till date in my email id([protected]@gmail.com). In total after that transaction i made a total amount of 9400 so according to me i should be charged around INR 26500. But if you will send me all bills i would be able to calculate exact amount.
                        If this is the exact amount i am payable it will make payment of this amount immediately, you can send any executive or i will drop cheque of that amount.
                        Else please let me know what is the amount i am payable of, so that i can now pay all amount.

                          I am Praveen Kumar M holding abn amro credit card ([protected]). I had made a purchase of rs 13186.00 in the month of October and converted that into a six month emi. I made my first emi on 10th of dec ie 2354. Next month I made the same emi with my normal purchase and asked ur customer service executive to preclose my emi and they calculated the total amount as 11470 rupees and they asked me to send a mail to delhi office before putting the chq bcz once the letter has not been received and I deposited my cheque of rs.11470 on 09.01.2008. On 21.01.2008 I received from delhi branch saying I still need to pay a amount of rs.140 due to wrong calculation from our (customer service ) side. I called ur customer service executive and stated why should I have pay 140 for your miscalculation and asked to transfer to the concern manager. But they didn’t do so. Again on 25.01.08 they called and gave a new amount of 172 rs which is outstanding in my preclosing emi’s. I totally don’t know whether iam a ATM machine to give u money whenever u ask. For doing error from your side I have to bare the compensation amount. Do u people think that the customers are fool and stupid ,so we can charge whatever we want and customer will pay for it.

                          Are u running bank or doing some mafia activites of sucking human blood(money). We are earning money by our hardworker and paining ourselves. So each paise is very important to us and we have all the right to ask you.

                          But your customer service persons putting charges against us for their mistakes.

                          I hope this mail is being read by a person who has good soul and know the customers value.

                          Pls take necessary action against this complaint and reverse the charge which was stated in my account statement.

                          Hoping u will reverse the statement charges Iam not doing the payment which was told.

                            This is in reference to my request to waive the Return Cheque Handling Fee, Rs. 500/- and Cash Deposit Fee Debit Rs. 75/-

                            My payment towards EMI for Rs. 16, 326 was delayed by 5 days. I had actually deposited a cheque on 07/31 and I was called by one of your collection agents, Ranjit. I did inform him about my cheque payment and I was advised to put a stop payment on the cheque and make a cash payment in order to avoid further delays. As per the instructions, I had made arrangements to pay the bill the very same day through cash for an amount of Rs. 16, 326. I was promised by the representative that there wouldn’t be any charges for putting a stop payment & was also promised that there wouldn’t be any late fee.

                            To my surprise, when I got the statement, I found out that I was charged Rs. 500/- for the Ret Chq Handling Fee, Rs. 650/- Late Fee and Cash Deposit Fee Debit Rs. 75/-. As per your agent’s instructions I had to make arrangements for cash that evening in order to avoid delay in the transaction. I spoke to one of your customer care representatives twice and requested the charges to be waived as it was no fault of mine (Confirmation# [protected], request dates 11th Aug & 13th Aug). I would agree to pay the late fee as I understand that the payment was not made on time. However, I would not agree to pay the remaining charges as I’ve followed your representative’s instructions.

                            I strongly request that the charges be waived off and would appreciate your action to this matter at the earliest so that I can continue to make my payments regularly here after.

                              I am poonam sharma, 25 yrs female, working with Max Health Care as a Patient care Coordinator. My salary account is with this third grade bank. After 2 months of my appointment (my date of appointment is 2/12/2007), they opened my account because they told me that my voter i d is not enough as an I D proof.Finaaly after 2 months, Mr.Ashish who is the concerned person of opening our salary acccounts, gave me my welcome kit with a 5 pages cheque book and atm card. He told me that with in one week, i will receive my pin number by corrier but till date i didn't receive it. Even i put a request for the new cheque book in june 2007 but the result is the same. I called more than hundred times at their customer center even to Ms Supriya, Ms Poshali, Ms Kajal executive at the head office of ABN at Gurgaon but the result is zero. All guys told me that i will receive it with 15 days but till date i did't receive anything from bank. Every time i have to go to Hauz Khas Branch Of ABN Bank to withdraw money by the loose cheques that are available at the cash counter.
                              Now, its enough. it is one year. Igot fed up with this. Then some one told me to make a complaint to consumer court because those people are torturing me mentally as well as physically. i request you to please help me out 4 that.

                              1)Customer care department of ABN AMRO Noida branch always hang up the phone saying that your request will take 4-5 working days for each new issue.
                              2)No customer like me can not rely on words of any people in ABN AMRO Noida branch because they always divert from their commitments as simple example of Mr.Himanshu & Ms.Priya .Infact I have done so many calls & sms to these people & their respective branch office but they just reply back saying that they will call me but NO RESPONSE AT ALL.I had to call them for taking any response.

                              3)I had to bear very heavy losses & my health problem like BP just because of rude attitude of ABN AMRO Noida branch people .

                              4)Ms Priya & other people in Noida branch had confirmed that my old debit card details were mismatched in their system i.e. my card details hard printed & in their system are different but after so many discussion I found that ABN AMRO bank system had changed the details without intimating me.

                              5)Mr.Kapil Dhingra was to deliver the card on last Wednesday as per words with MR. Himanshu & even he gave me 4-5 times confirmation calls asking the route to my home address & I just waited for that guy cancelling my some urgent tasks .So I got a call at approx 10:00pm from Mr. Daanish that Kapil will not be coming to deliver your card. So rude & misleading the client in this way.

                              6)Mr.Danish had given me confirmation that if any issues forthcoming then I can proceed him directly but no same commitment shown by him yesterday. He did not give any response after that.

                              Note: Since I had to incur very heavy economical & health related losses I have also filed a case with Consumer Forum & ABN AMRO Noida Branch will have to pay all kind of those losses as my already pending issues are always pending with such rude attitude of ABN AMRO Noida branch people & Customer care department.
                              I kindly reuest senior management of ABN AMRO Bank to inspect the operations going on in ABN AMRO BANK at noida branch(UP).They never process any customer issues regarding the debit card & PIN issues which are already pending for last 15 days.
                              Please take a very strong action on this becasue i am going to escalate this thing to court for which i had to face so many troubles.

                              atm card — regarding pin number

                              I had apply for my new ATM card and I got the ATM and the Pin code but the PIN CODE HAD ONLY THREE DIGIT so it was not working so i apply for new PIN NUMBER on 16th SEPTEMBER 2010 but I have not recieved till now 5th OCTOBER 2010.
                              Today i got a call from [protected] and they said they are from ABN AMRO. After that they were keep and asking my personal details and given me mental torture. How can i complaint on them? Severe action ha to be taken on the bank.

                                Dear Sir/Madam,

                                This is with reference to my home loan account number 9190407 which was started on 17th May’05.
                                I was continuously paying the EMIs, Initially 1-5 through cheques rest through the ECS from my ICICI Bank account and everything was going fine till September 2007.

                                On 26th Spetember 2007 i decided to resturn some loan amount of 4lac as the EMI was coming up very high with 14% rate if interest. Bank accepted my 4 lac payment and confirmed me the EMI will be reduced from after 2 months and Bank will pay the interest for 4 lacs ... Which never happened and i am still paying same EMI ..Even though they reduced the 4 lacs amt from the principle amount.

                                Above one was the secandary issue but the PRIMARY one is the bank came back to me saying that i had missed a EMI in September 2005 ...which is not at all possible ... I had paid my EMI's on time
                                Bank is coming up with something after 3 years ....when i asked them to confirm the cheque or why it was not paid ..they said cheque was returned by ICICI ...When i asked ICICI they told cheque is never Used.

                                Bank issued me 10 different home loan statements for same account and all of them are different and most of them are showing EMI is paid on Sept 2005.... Now bank is not replying to my emails ..they started appying late fee to all my EMI's

                                I am not in the country and i am frustrated and looking for some help ... Bank's calculations system is not correct and its not transparent ... I know they have done some mistakes ...

                                Bank did not reduced my EMI after they accepted the 4 lacs payment
                                Bank is still applying late fee for the EMI which there bank statements says was paid ..

                                Please help me ..if you want i can email you the bank statements send to me

                                Completely agree with Sham Sharma. ABN-AMRO is a fraudulent bank. They dont care for the common man all they are interested is in the hoi ploi! Its a bank!
                                i strongly agree with Ram. ABN AMRO is worst bank to deal with. I decide to pay off adn transfer my loan to HDFC Bank. Even after paying teh principal outstanding along with penulty etc, I am not getting my papers back I have called their call center 3 times and they have no clue. I just get a answer : we will arrange a call back"...BUT NOBODY CALLS.

                                  I have asked for a settlement against my credit card [protected] ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card. I had told the bankers that I am selling my home and settling all my loans and card payments. As the bank loan of the person who bought my home has been delayed I coild not pay the settlement amount. I was in touch with this chap Rahul Tyagi - Tel No [protected] who told my wife to sell herself in the Red Light Area and pay off the bank. Not olny that he personally abused me in the choicest Hindi bad words like Maa...... & Bhen........ I have sent mails to ABN website, but as always they never seem to reply. Please follow up on this complaint and advise I have to do.

                                    I had applied for a housing loan with ABN Amro Bank in September 2005. After filling the form and submitting required documents, they asked for a cheque for Rs. 8400.00 as loan processing fee saying that if the loan doesnt get approved then this amount would be duly refunded to me. The same was paid by me vide ICICI Cheque No. 62818 dated 05.09.2005

                                    The loan didnt get approve and since last 2 years i've been calling them and requesting them for my payment, but of no avail. The excutive Mr. Sameer Patil who promised the same, from dadar branch, Mumbai not doesnt bother to answer my calls and help me.

                                    I request you to please help me out with the same. I must get my money back with interest.

                                    Dear sir,

                                    Ref: ABN – AMRO Bank Account No. 9140859 & customer Relation No is 1123765.

                                    I availed a car loan in the year 2004. It is expected to be closed in this month. When I approached the bank at Banjara Hills – Hyderabad Branch in this month, I was surprised to note that a late fee of Rs 500 has been forced into my account. As the account gets closed in the month of July, we remitted Rs 500 in cash at the Bank counter.

                                    Basically I am puzzled as to why a late fee has been levied when my monthly remittances were through Electronic clearance & there was no instance of shortage of funds at any time. When I enquired about it, I was given to understand that in 2004 in the month of April or so, it was cleared late &hence a penalty of Rs.500.

                                    As that was the sole occasion when the EMI was cleared late by the bank & that I spoke to the bank officials specifically on the issue of belated ECS clearance, I now recollected the instance .

                                    When the ABN-Amro could not realize the EMI up to 10th, I spoke to the Bank Manager at that time & enquired as to why the EMI was not cleared from my account. The Bank Manager simply replied that ECS has failed & that I may like to pay the cash. Since I have given an irrevocable undertaking for collection of EMI through ECS, I refused to go to ABN-AMRO & physically deposit the cash. As I was an Accounts officer with Indian Railways, I was aware that RBI has suspended the ECS for some of the banks who indulged in unfair practices in that month. It was with this back drop, I questioned the Manger as to why the bank was unable to realize my EMI even after 10days. The Manger coolly replied that it was a confidential matter. I again confronted him whether ABN-AmrO was one of the such Banks on whom the RBI has taken action. He replied in negative & the conversation ended.

                                    Now, as a matter of principle I would request you to furnish me the following information.

                                    1. To let me know as to why that particular EMI could not be realized in time when the funds were abundantly available in my account .
                                    2. What was my role as a customer in the delayed ECS collection
                                    3. Why a late fee of Rs 500 has been forced into my account for the failure of the Bank’s ECS mechanism.
                                    4. For how many customers such late fee has been imposed in that month.

                                    If I am right, I would request you to refund the money & If the Bank is right I may be advised of the reasons as to why a late fee has been imposed along with the above information & my role in the default process as a customer.

                                      Sub: Discrepancies in monthly statement .
                                      Ref: Credit card #[protected]XXXX-8163.
                                      With reference to the above I would like to bring to your notice the multiple discrepancies incorporated in my monthly statement by ABN-AMRO Bank. First of all, I’ve availed a loan of Rs.19,400/- on 23rd May,2006 (Easy Cash # [protected]) and the EMI was set to Rs.1834/- for a period of 12 months. Every month I’ve been tendering more the Minimum amount due and the afore-mentioned EMI was completed on May 2007. But the subsequent statements (i.e., from June 2007 statemnets), has been reflecting some unknown charges of Rs.7100.87/-. Since June 2007, I've been complaining to ABN-AMRO bank and also sent several reminders but they did not respond to my complaints. Moreover, in the month of September 2007, the Bank has transferred a portion of my credit card outstanding into EasyPay for an amount of Rs.39,033.19 without my consent. I brought the same to the notice of ABN-AMRO, and the charges were reversed on 10/09/2007.
                                      Again in the month of October 2007, the statement was reflecting Rs.7100.87/- towards EasyPay Principal balance . I brought the same to the notice of ABN-AMRO Customer care and the above charges were reversed on 11/10/2007 vide statement dated 08/11/2007.

                                      The following are the summary details of November month statement.

As a result, I've all copies of past 2 years statement. So the question of Duplicate statement does not arise at all. Now I don’t understand why the bank has charged Duplicate Statement Fee. The ABN-AMRO bank is adopting unfair practices in their business.

                                      I kindly request the concerned authorities to look into the matter and initiate complaint against the bank.

                                      First of all, I had availed a Loan of Rs.19,400/- on 23rd May 2006 and the EMI was set to Rs.1834/- for a period of 12 months. The monthly EMI of Rs.1834/- is clubbed in Credit card Outstanding. As per the Bank rule, a Credit card holder is supposed to pay any amount between Minimum amount due (MAD) and Total amount due (TAD). Those who opt for Revolving Credit Facility (RCF) are supposed to pay atleast MAD. My Credit card monthly MAD comprises of EMI of Rs.1834/- and 5% Credit card outstanding. Everymonth I’ve been tendering more than MAD. Moreover, I had never defaulted the monthly dues. The afore-mentioned EMI was completed in May 2007. But the subsequent statements has been reflecting Rs.7100.87/- as dues against the afore-mentioned EMI. As I’ve effected more than MAD every month, the question of Rs.7100.87/- as dues does not arise at all. Moreover, on 09/11/2007, the Bank has charged Rs.800/- towards Duplicate Statement Fee which I never requested for. Let me tell you that I had availed Internet Banking facility long ago. As a result, I’ve copies of past two years statements. But I don’t understand why the Bank has levied charges.

                                      I kindly request you to look into the matter and reverse the above charges.

I brought the same to the notice of Customer care and the charges were reversed on 10/09/2007. The charges were reversed for an amount of Rs.39614.78/-. But on 08/09/2007, they have taken a EMI of Rs.1947/-. So, as per my calculation the actual charges to be reinstated is Rs.36,986.19/- as against Rs.39,033.19/-.

                                      3. Moreover, on 09/11/2007, the Bank has charged Rs.800/- towards Duplicate Statement Fee without my consent. Let me tell you that I had activated Internet Banking facility from ABN-AMRO Bank long ago. So the question of Duplicate Statement does not arise at all.
                                      I kindly request the concerned authorities to look into the matter and do the needful at the earliest.

Till date I havent recived no welcome kit I have spoken to the customer care people atleast 100 times and still there is no response. What kind of service do they provide I really dont understand.

                                      I have been using ABN AMRO credit card for more then 5 years now. During the month of Oct'06, while going thru my sept'06 statement I found a statement mentioning "Payment by bill desk, Mumbai" for amount of Rs. 2950.00. Since I was not aware of the transaction I had called on their Customer Care and complained about it, for which they replied over phone to deduct the amount and pay the balance, which I had done.

                                      Now, even after enough follow-up, ABN AMRO is not in a position to give the details, and they have been charging interest on the amount, and asking me to pay the amount. Further they have also debarred my credit card.

                                      This is is to bribg to your notice that i hold a ABN AMRO bank saving salary account bearing number 1424049 customer ID 1717225 was wrongly debited on March.29.2008 for amount Rs.14, 182/- for a credit card payment hopwever for your knowledgement i dont hold any credit card from ABN AMRO and this is the first relation of mine with the bank and that is also for just 2 months.

                                      Furthermore, in reference to the comversation with the Customer Care executive (Creedit card) Manu he told that the money which was debited was for a credit card and they dont have the card detail.

                                      ABN AMRO Bank — Access charges on my C.C. statement.

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I have ABN AMRO BANK Credit Card from August 2007. I was using this card as per my requirement. But in September statement they insert “RFREE FLIGHT FEE - 2 RETURNS FLIGHT TKTS worth Rs. 4000.00 + Service Tax inclusive Edu. Cess” and in January statement they insert “PREMIER CLUB & SUPREME EXPERIENCE OFFER worth Rs. 4500.00 + Service Tax inclusive Edu. Cess” without my permission in my account. I request them several times to reverse this amount; I don’t want to use these types of facility and they reply me “I will reverse this amount in next statement. Please pay minimum amount this time”. I have paid minimum amount at that time. Due to my communication with ABN AMRO people I have paid minimum amount late and they fine the late fees charge.

                                      I request them “please reverse this late fees charge. I have paid due to your mistake.” But this time also I face the same answer “I will reverse this amount in next statement. Please pay minimum amount this time”. But this time I decided I will not pay until they reverse the late fees charge.

                                      I, Neeraj Sharma resident of 344, Masjid Moth, South Extension Part-II, New Delhi - 110049 maintaining my credit card no. [protected] for the last 6 years (approx.) and till date I have been getting all the banking services from you hassle freely.

                                      But unfortunately and quite surprisingly I got an email from you on 11.09.2008 that my address has been changed to SC-5G, Street No.1, Garima Garden, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad on my request. Whereas I have never made any such request till date and even today I have been residing at the address mentioned above. On the very day I informed you that I haven’t made any such request for change of address. Further on the very next day i.e. 12.09.2008 I received a call[protected] from Mr. Nikhil of your Bank (Fraud Department, Sector-10, Noida, UP) and he inform me that they are taking necessary action towards change of my address. When I told him that I haven’t make any such request then he clarified that they have received similar type of such cases and they wanted to sought them out but in the absence of corporation of credit card account holder they became helpless and couldn’t take any legal action against such fraudulent persons, but I assure him of my full corporation in the matter. Once again my surprise I got an email message on 13.09.2008 wherein I was informed that a purchased of Rs.1, 30, 000/- on my credit card has been transferred to the 24 months installment Plan. As soon as I came to know about it (at 09:57 pm approx. 13.09.2008) I asked Mr. Aryan (Mumbai office) of your Bank on Helpline No.[protected] and enquired about this transaction of Rs.1, 30, 000/-, he informed me that a D.D. has been prepared in your name. Then I told him to stop the payment of the D.D. to which he obeyed and sent instructions to the man concerned in this regard.

                                      On 14.09.2008 (Sunday) I went to the address (SC-5G, Street No.1, Garima Garden, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, UP) posing as a courier man alongwith my 3 friends (namely Niranjan, Vinod & Rajesh) to check and find out the factual position of the matter and on reaching there I found that a person namely Harun (Mobile No. [protected]) alongwith her wife and childrens are living there. I told his wife that I have brought a courier for Neeraj Sharma and where is he. She told me that he was not at home and gave mobile number of her husband i.e. Harun. I called Harun from my Mobile and enquired about Neeraj Sharma after that he told me to deliver the courier to his wife but I refused to deliver the same to her wife and asked Harun that what does that courier contain then he replied that the courier in question contains a Demand Draft. Then I asked him to come to his house and take the delivery of the courier personally. Then he reached there within 5 to 10 minutes.

                                      When Harun arrive on the spot I asked him where is Neeraj Sharma? Then Harun told me that he (Neeraj Sharma) is friend of his brother (Harun’s brother, namely Israr, Mobile No. [protected]). When I asked Harun to tell his brother Israr to call Neeraj Sharma to take the delivery of the courier, then Israr told Harun that Neeraj Sharma is not there and you (Harun) collect the courier. Then I told Harun that I am not going to delivery the courier to him since it’s case of fraud (420) on hearing this Harun again call his brother Israr (who was admitted in the Hospital namely Ambey Hospital for treatment at that time) and Israr instructed his brother Harun not to take the delivery of the courier.

                                      Keeping in view of the new situation I inform the local police authorities of the area (Tulsi Niketan Chowki, Thana Sahibabad, Incharge of the Chowki is Mr. Arun Kumar, SI, Mobile No. [protected]) to which the police authorities responded promptly and took Harun into their custody. They received a written complaint from me and initiated action against Harun, they also told me that Harun and Israr are the anti social aliments of the area and they have committed such things in past also. Then an influential man (namely Mr. Haji) reached Police Chowki and advocated in favour of Harun and Israr. The authorities also became inactive and when I observed that nothing concrete will come out then I decided to come back and take up the matter with the Bank authorities. On the request of police authorities of the area (Mr. Arun Kumar, Incharge) I informed them in writing that I don’t want to take any action against Harun who was in their custody at that time and shall take up the matter with the concerned authorities of Delhi.

                                      Sir I have narrated the entire episode before you and suspect the involvement of Bank Staff and I request you to investigate the matter and take appropriate action in the matter without delay under intimation to me.

                                      Sir,
                                      Inspite of my several requests the ABN AMRO BANK is not sending the Monthly Statements so that I could know my transactions. Beside it, the banks pressess repeatedly too much for making payment regularly. It is very much contradictory that a customer should pay regularly without knowing the actual balance of his/her statement.

                                      Credit Card Statement — discrepancy in statement

                                      my recent statement dt 04oct2008 has a billing of rs.6741 against prority circ which i have never applied for. i have been calling to ur cust care and 45081222 from last 9 days n there is no response. i want immediate cancellation of this statement or else i would submit back my credit card. i want an immediate action in this regard n convey the same to me as soon as possible.

                                      ABN AMRO Bank — ABN Amro Credit card 5415382325608313

                                      ABN Amro bank had entered into an settlement with me on 16/9/08 for a lumpsum amount of 18000/- against a total due of 40184.17 through Shri. Prodyut Mitra of K.K.Advisory services, which comprised of actual amount payable and interest. To process the claim I had paid an amount of Rs.2200/- vide receipt no. 09986 dt 16.09.08 and Rs.700/- vide receipt no. 09987 dated 17.09.08, on an assurance that I will get a waiver and settlement letter from bank directly and the balance I had to pay as directed by the bank in the settlement letter.

                                      After 1 month ie., on 15th October 2008, two persons Mr. Tewari and Mr. Kapoor visited my office with a letter stating that bank had settled the amount for Rs. 20000/-. I am totally surprised by this action of bank, since they had already collected an amount of Rs. 2200/- on 16th and 17th September 2008 which should have been reduced from Rs. 18000/- and settlement amount should have been 15800/-. I have copies of letters to support my claim and aforesaid.

                                      The two gentlemen purputely from ABN Amro bank is harassing me and is pressurising me to enter into a fresh setllment of Rs. 20000/-, or else I will have to face dire consequences and they would hand over the case to some MUSCLE AGENCY who will recover the original dues through voilence.

                                      I hereby pray and request to kindly intervene and help me out of this situation and mental agony through which I am passing through.

                                      I am ready to pay Rs. 15800/- at one go provided the claim is closed forever.

                                      The Query is regarding for the revisal of service charges for November 2008.
                                      Actually the bank has already deducted some amount about Rs 560.00 for service charges for October 2008 and I came to know this by end of November. After this immediately I have started to maintain the minimum balance. But again In December the bank again deducted same amount from my account for service charges of November. So I called to the bank by phone executive service for clarification but they not giving the any proper reply. I have made a call for 5 times but all 5 times they coming up with different answers. I’m not happy with this issue. Because the charges is not the small amount and it’s huge for me.

                                      I didn’t maintain the minimum balance amount before because I’m not aware of it and not get any information or instruction from bank regarding this. But after I came to know I’m maintaining it. So what is the use of maintain the account with the service charges?

                                      If I get this information before then I would have maintain it because I don’t have any problem to maintain and I was happy with your bank services.

                                      So please accept the request and revise the charges as soon as possible.

                                      ABN AMRO — Disputed transaction in ABN AMRO bank credit card

                                      I have a credit card of ABN AMRO BANK.
                                      There is a transaction of amount Rs. 2494.55 in my statement of Nov'08 which was not done by me. The merchant shown on the statement was TATA INDICOM PAYMENT MUMBAI. I reported the dispute with the ABN's customer care, they sent me a form and was said to send the filled up form back. I did the same. I called up several times after that but they told me that the issue is under investigation. I called few days back again and I was told that the transaction was an internet transaction and used my CVV number so I a liable to pay the amount.
                                      I was deciding what to do next, I received my February's statement and surprinsingly there is again a similar transaction(same merchant) and this time the amount is Rs.3000.
                                      I have sent 4th level escallation (as per the bank's site) emails about my issues and seeking for waiving off the disputed amount, but I got the reply that I need to make the payment, and suggested me as per the following statement:
                                      "Under these circumstances the Bank would not be able to raise a charge dispute for the transactions and we would request you to raise the issue with the site/ merchant directly. "

                                      I do not know how to raise the issue or also please suggest me some way to handle the issue.

When I have applied for the card that time this card was life time free and without any annual fee charge only on condition that i will have to use it within three month. So i had used it in the third month after receiving it and that amount before due date. Later on i have got a call from ABN Amro bank for Reliance Insurance Policy. isaid that your policyis very good but dont activate it till i will say. They had charged me for one more Offer for which i have not applied for that is 3 night and 2 day holiday offer charge.
                                      I have contacted so many times to ABN Amro Bank to reversal all of the charges for which i have not applied. Even i have said that if you have any proof of application or request for that Policy and Holday package offer for which applied by me, come and show it to me i will pay all the charges.

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      I have a saving account as well a credit card of ABN Amro bank. I use to pay credit card bill through the ABN Amro saving account. Payment date of credit card is 3rd of every month. I transferred minimum amount to ABN Amro account by HDFC Account on 27th Feb. which was not credited By ABN Amro due to some internal Problem till 12th March. I complained them then my account got credited the amount. In between the payment date of credit card has been passed and the put a late payment fee of 650 rs. I talked to ABN Amro they are saying that they can do nothing.
                                      Sir, they hold my money for around 20 days for nothing after that they fine me late fee charges. And now they are not reversing the charges.

                                      I have been using your credit your card for quite long and been paying the amount monthly until the month of Feb when I came to know even if I had the amount of 2200 for the month of Feb its not been reflecting in your account …

                                      I started getting numerous call where in I had been saying that I had paid the amount through your agency who had come down to my office in sharda center to collect the money. I guess the worst part from my side was I had paid the amount through cash and I have misplaced the receipt for the same … But I had got a conformation sms from ABN AMRO saying that “ we confirm receipt of Rs 2, 200.00 as payment for your ABN AMRO Bank Credit card – ABN AMRO – www.abnamro.co.in “

                                      I had also forwarded the sms to one of your customer care ppl who called me up from Delhi and alter he said its been updated in the system but I can only view the same when I get my next bill.
                                      Later on 28/02 at 09:07am I had received a call from delhi office [ Number : [protected]], sorry I couldn’t recollect his name but if you can trace what he said was that payment is already received and I need to pay the an amount of 3000, if I recollect for the month of March … I had asked him also I need a prove of the same as I by that time I was really bugged up with the calls I was getting from the bank …he said it will come in my next statement but I had received the statement wherein I don’t find anything mentioning of the same but I find a late fee and other charges instead.

                                      I again got a call on 01.03.2009 from the number [protected] at around 11:13am asking that they have not received the payment …. I really don’t understand why there is a contradict of the statement …

                                      I had savings account in ABN Amro bank for almost 2 years with a minimum balance of 10k. Even though I didnt need any credit card, they offered me a life time free credit card and after 6 months charged money from my savings account. My balance was around 12k 3 yrs back, from last 1 year it has become 0 and despite complaining, calling multiple times, they have not resolved the problem. What can I do for this?

                                      ABN AMRO — Why they are waiting 6 to 8 months waiting, at this time payable amount going to 3rd times of actual amount.

                                      ABN Amro Bank works in an immoral manner. They often eat their own words. R. B. I should deal with them with a very heavy hand. Such banks should not be allowed to operate from Indian soil; their agents lure innocent people of this great country.
                                      They are harassing me in a lot which result so bad in my official work and family also.
                                      While issuing the Credit card it was told that there is no charges, u don’t have to pay annual charges or any other cost, but now I m getting mails from their agents that there is outstanding in ur Credit card statement and u have are in the defaulters list, and will send a legal notice on me.
                                      Two years ago, I was issued a ABN Amro Credit card from ABN amro agents, without me applying for the same, they forced me at my office gate nearly 10 times, They said- it is very help full while you are in financially critical. That time I do not know I am going to hell with that card. I am used the card. I always pay the credit card bill in full. if not possible I may pay minimum amount but I did not stop the payment. Sometimes I paid 20, 000 also.
                                      Due to my work, I was changed my address. And phone no.
                                      I forget to update my address with all my banks ( ICICI, AXis, ABN Amro ).
                                      I did not get a chance to use the Abn amro card, and then I can notice -need to update address.
                                      They communicated my mail and they sent address change request form except ABN Amro.
                                      Now they (ABN amro) communicated to my official mail id. And saying like this “we have the legal notice on u regarding the ABN AMRO BANK CREDIT CARD .so your employee code and official mail id we are sending to SERINOR OFFICER and HR DEPT and to your res place.”
                                      In view of the above kindly clarify the following:
                                      a) They send a mail now that “we have the legal notice on u regarding the ABN AMRO BANK CREDIT CARD…….” Why don’t they send this mail while I am not able to reach them?

                                      ABN AMRO — Credit Card Payment not reflecting - 5425051703998327

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      I would like to bring the below incident for your reference for advice, where my credit card payment is not reflected into my credit card account even after 15 days and am getting regular calls from the bank for the payment. Bank is inefficient to trace my payment and still chasing me for the payment again.

                                      Incident:I am holding a credit card with ABN Amro bank Card No - [protected].

                                      As instructed by ABN AMRO Bank’s Chennai office, I have paid my card payment due of Rs. 4875 to ABN AMRO Bank’s collection agent (Scanned copy is attached) on 15th July 09. I was told by the bank representative that the payment will be reflecting in my account on the same day it self. But I realized that till now (30 Jul 2009 05:00 PM IST) the amount is not credited to my account.

                                      On the contrary (even after sending mail with the scanned copy of the receipt, explaining over and again to bank representatives), I am getting every day many calls (Event today morning I have got the call asking for the card payment) from the bank representatives for credit card payment. Getting payment calls in spite of making the payment will impact me a lot in metal stress. On top of their payment system processing failure bank’s representative torn is very unprofessional and adding more stress.

                                      I am planning to take this matter to appropriate legal and regulatory authorities. Please advice on further proceedings.

                                      as it the worst bank, even i am charged for the policies which they took on my card and money is debited me they are asking me to pay Rs 3600 which exactly is the ammount which they have spent on my card to purchase policy of theift and insurance, they did not consulted me before purchasing the policy .

                                      It is brought to your kind notice that I was issued a ‘Freedom’ Credit Card No.[protected] valid from 02/04 to 02/06 of your Company under the life time free card scheme i.e. no renewal fee etc. shall be charged on expiry / renewal of the credit card. The card was used by me and payment of dues regarding purchases made by me were cleared in time and no outstanding amount was ever intimated to me regarding any purchases made by me against the card.
                                      However, very disturbing news was broken to me on 22.08.09 at 1.55 pm from Mobile Phone No.[protected], by one Sh. Varinder Singh, Claiming to be Information Officer of the Jodhpur District Court, who informed me that a complaint has been filed against me by Sh. Raman Bagga, Advocate regarding non payment of outstanding dues qua aforesaid credit card under reference. A Mobile No.[protected] belonging to Sh. Raman Bagga Advocate, was given to by Sh. Varinder Singh, advising me to contact him for withdrawal of the complaint. Accordingly I contacted over telephone on 22.08.09 at 2.01 pm, Sh. Raman Bagga, who introduced himself to be head of north zone of your organisation and informed me that a case under section 420, 406 of the IPC has been filed against me for recovery of amount to the tune of 1.7 lacs in Jodhpur District Court, Rajasthan, Sh. Raman Bagga was very ‘discourteous’ and ‘rude’ in his behaviour and refused to disclose the details about the outstanding amount and details of case filed in court.
                                      It is pertinent to mention here that I have never used my credit card to the tune of such heavy amount and never kept any amount unpaid for purchases made by me against the credit card under reference. Further, the card was discontinued to be used by me after it expired in Feb, 06. Again, my credit card was renewed by your organisation and a fresh credit card bearing No.[protected] valid from 01/09 to 02/13 has been issued to me without my requesting for the same, which shows that I do not owe any amount to your organisation. Further, I made a telephone call at your chandigarh helpline number i.e. [protected] on 22.08.09 at 4.18 pm and inquired about the outstanding balance against both the new unsolicited credit card No.[protected] valid from 01/09 to 02/13 as well as old credit card No.[protected] valid from 02/04 to 02/06 under reference I was informed by your executive that amount outstanding against the aforementioned credit cards under reference is ‘NIL’ and she further confirmed that credit card No.[protected] valid from 02/04 to 02/06, is being shown as ‘CLOSED’ with no unpaid outstanding amount.
                                      In connection with the aforementioned it is submitted that it highly unprofessional and unethical on part of your organisation to institute court proceedings against me on false and untruthful grounds without ever sending me any bill qua outstanding payment due and without sending me any legal notice, further how jurisdiction of Ld. District Court Jodhpur, Rajastan has been evoked, when I am residing at Mohali and credit cards were issued to me at Mohali.
                                      Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, you are requested to kindly supply me the following documents:
                                      1. Copies of all the statements of bills issued to me in respect of credit card Nos. [protected] and [protected] respectively and deails of all the payments made by against them.
                                      2. Last payment due on the aforesaid cards along with itemised bifurcation of the same i.e on account of what purchases, this amount is due.
                                      3. Complete Postal office Address Sh.Raman Bagga, Advocate to enable me to correspond with him on the issue.
                                      4. A copy of complaint filed against me, if any, before the Ld. Court along with complete set of documents accompanying the same.
                                      You are further requested to instruct Sh. Raman Bagga, Advocate to immediately withdraw the false complaint filed, if any, against me before the Ld. Please help me to reverse this unauthorised transaction.

                                      I was using ABN Amro Gold Credit card no. [protected].
                                      I have settled the outstanding payment with the bank against my credit card. I have given the cheque of amount Rs.15000/- cheque no. 03820 dated 20/05/09 and I have received the receipt against the cheque, receipt no. DESAHI 2526 dated 20/05/09 from SAHIJPAL & ASSOCIATE PVT. LTD. 4631, DLF Phase 4, Gurgaon 122002.
                                      Against this I have received the full and final settlement letter from bank.
                                      I have received a call from ABN Amro Bank collection agency in CP, New Delhi Phone No. [protected] name of the caller is Mr. Arun Kumar. He was saying that "You have outstanding of amt. Rs 20000/- and you have to pay it otherwise I will list you as defaulter in Bank and you will be in trouble". I have received three times calls from the given no.

                                      Please help me and do the needful.

                                      ABN AMRO — REVERSAL OF LATE FEES

                                      Dear Sir

                                      This is in reference to the late fees charged to my account in the month of June 09 amounting
                                      to Rs,380 inclusive of tax. Where i had sent a mail asking for the reversal of the same as this
                                      was the first time where the monthly istalment has not been paid due to recession problem
                                      and the next month have paid 2 months emi.
                                      Thanks for Mr. Sanoar Hussain who has sent a return mail stating that the same has been agreed
                                      and it will reflect in my next month statement with Ref No.[protected]. But it has not been showed
                                      in any of the month from then instead of that they have started charging me again again with interest
                                      and late fees charges where i was paying my monthly emis perfectly. i was continuously calling their
                                      centre and sending mail to card services, nothing has happened i had shell Rs.1800/- towards their
                                      late fees charges which was near to my monthly emi.

                                      My question is that if Mr.Sanobar Hussain has not given me the approval for reversal in the first instance only i would have paid it but they made my life miserable by calling 3 to 4 times a day
                                      and not giving the superior phone nos. to contact and explain them, everytime i use to call the call centre they simply say we have put a request and we will get back to you in 48 hours, to my discomfort nothing has happened till now when i paid the entire late fees amount they stopped calling.

                                      I feel if there is no control of this type of issues they why should they allow to do business AND

                                      ABN AMRO — unwanted credit card bill

                                      Hi,

                                      I have Freedom credit card from ABN AMRO since 6 years. I wanted to close the credit card and e-mailed ABN AMRO for settlement amount 3 months back. I recieved call from ABN AMRO that they wont work on settle amount if I close the account with them and need to pay the complete due inspite of me paying on regular basis and not using the card for purchases since last 6 months. They will only reduce the amount(late fee & tax) if I be the customer.

                                      Now they have even added the membership fee whereas the card is for life time free. And they are adding the late fee amount since last 2 months and I am not receiving any calls from the bank.

                                      Please help me get this fixed and get rid of the pathetic Bank.

                                      Im not a customer of ABN Amro Bank credit card but i received numerous collection calls to my mobile number asking for prem or puneet. I told them several times and also proved them with my mobile bill and date of activation since that was the option to prove them that im not the culprit. They sent the following mail as reply ;

                                      This is with reference to your complaint regarding receiving wrong collection calls.

                                      We apologise for the inconvenience caused and request you to view this in isolation and not representative of the services we strive to achieve.

                                      We have basis your mail, rectified our records.

                                      But Even after that i received a computerized call from Lok adalt asking me tp appear in front of the court. I dont know why ABN amro giving false reference number and irritating a wrong person. I could not cancel my number since i have given that number for so many important business contacts as well as im using it for past three years.

                                      I asked a collection call executive why they are tracing a person using the mobile number instead they can go and find the person in his address. But i received a funny address that they have only one evidence that's the mobile number which was canceled before 4 years. I told them if the number has been canceled and if its idle for more than 6 months, the same number will be provided to another person.

                                      I dont know whats wrong with the ABN amro bank employees and still they don't know how to resolve this issue

                                      I take one abn amro card on the promation, that if you use this card with in 100 days of recived than on membership fee to be charged. Before recived the cards first statments i use this card, but when
                                      I recived the cards statement, bank charge the membership fee of Rs-595/- & service tax Rs-47.60. After recived the statements, I call the customer care, they tell no problems we revert this u no need to pay it. but on the secound statements they revert the membership fee Rs-595/-, but charges Rs-150/- as late fee & service tax Rs-35.6/-, I again call the customer care they suggested me to send the balance payments. So isend the balance payments along with cut the cards into six pices. In the next they show the payments recived but charged financial charge Rs-78.63, & service tax Rs-6.29 without useing cards.Now when I call the customer care they tell Your cards are blocked & we can not help u in this matter. Now till date Nobody is ready to liston this matter. now they show the Rs-7200/- balance on the cards.

                                      I was using the freedom credit card of ABN AMRO Bank. After making zero balance I had stopped using the card as I had another Titanium card of ABN AMRO. A renewal fee of Rs 595/ was put on my card which I enquired as I was told that this was a lifetime free card. I stopped the payments for this obvious reason. After that they put an amount of Rs 5500/ on my card for some travel plan for 3 days 2 nights which I never recieved. During all this they inflated the balance to Rs 6700 by the way of late fees and financial charges. I argued with the customer care people and after long time they decided to reverse the renewal charges of Rs 595/ and travel plan of Rs 5500/. But the amount of Rs 2600/ is still pending on my card by the way of late fees and financial charges. Despited repeated request for the reversal ( Ref No.[protected] dated 14th Oct'2009) stating that when the amount on which this late fees and financial charges were levied stands withdrawn, this should also be reversed. This is simply not justified. Now I am getting harrasing calls from the customer care asking me to pay the said amount or otherwise they will take recourse to legal action against me. This is what I call judicial terrorism. One name I want to mention in this regard is Mr Nishant Oberoi to whom I had made a call on 15th Oct'2009. This language was very unbecoming of a person representing a bank like ABN AMRO. I request you to interven and put an stop to this harrasement.

                                      ABN AMRO — Late Fee charges (Loan A/C No. 7777777773676407)

                                      It was informed to me by the customer care executive that I cannot pay online because I have to make a payment against Loan a/c no. and if I pay in cash in any ABN amro branch then they charged me Rs. 75 every month so I don’t have the choice but to wait for the executives to collect money. I also lodge a complaint that I had not received March and April 2009 statement and they apologies earlier and reversed the late fee because it was delivered somewhere else. Now, I am paying my EMI i.e Rs. 5875 every month. but they are adding late fee charges every month just because i am not paying previous late fee charges which was levied on me because of their mismanagement.

                                      I made a payment of Rs. 11750 i.e. (5875*2) after the discussion with ABN executive that from next month onwards they will reverse my all late fee charges. But nothing happened. Again, they appologies and said please make a payment this month then we will reverse late fee charges next month then I paid my EMI of Rs. 5875 but now again I am getting calls from their collection department for making payment of late fee charges which is now around Rs.6000. I am not able to understand why should I pay the late fee charges if the fault is at bank side.

                                      I want to ask few question to the bank: -

                                      - If they deliver the statements to some other place. Who is responsible for that ?

                                      - If they add back previously reversed late fee charges and do not send me the statement then how
                                      could I know the actual amount to be paid (this is the main reason because of which I paid Rs.
                                      5875 only which is my EMI).

                                      - Is there any customer confidentiality policy exists in ABN Amro or they can deliver any statement
                                      to anybody even a stranger.

                                      - The bank delivered my statements to other place and get the signature of any stranger and blindly
                                      refereeing that stupid reason to me that they had delivered the statement. I informed it to bank but
                                      still they haven't took any corrective measures.

                                      Please look this matter on a URGENT basis.

                                      ABN AMRO Easy Cash Account — Unnecessary charges of Late Fee/Finance Charges

                                      I have the easy cash loan account no [protected] since past more then one & half year. I have been paying regularly the EMI after the receipt of the statement. In month of June , I did not receive the statement & hence the payment was missed. In month of july I recd the call from the call centre & the lady requested to make the imm payment of two installement so that they can waive of the late fee charges. Hence she deputed the collection boy & he collected two cheques of Rs. 9087 . However in the next statement nothing wavier was made & I started getting calls for making the payment of Late fee. Incidentally there after I made several complaints to their customer care service vide complaint reference no.:[protected]/[protected]/[protected]/[protected]/[protected] . But to my surprise every time they promise & nothing action is taken. We have regularly paying the dues & just because of the error from some body from Bank side; the bank collection centre is harrassing for the dues which is not legitimate. Now the bank people is constantly calling & mentally harrassing even at the residence & on mobile. I therefore request bank to intiate proper action & take a corrective measures promptly.

                                      ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Charging for a service which I never asked...charging on a discontinued credit card

                                      Dear Sir/Madam

                                      I had an ABN AMRO credit card (Credit card No:[protected] till Dec 2006 but I had discontinued it as they used to charge me late fees even when I used to make payments on time.

                                      However when I recently recieved my CIBIL report , I found out that they are still charging a credit shield amount per month ( to protect my card against fraudulent use while I had discontinued this card 3 years back and the card validity has been aslo expired).

                                      When I talked to one of the customer care executive she agreed to reverse the levied credit shield charges and confirmed that I need to pay only the balance 1200/ - only ( total overdue amount as per their latest statement is 2853 /-). She told me that once they recieve this amount , my account will be cleared. However when I called them after 2 days another executive picked the call and send that they do not have any record of any such discussion and I will have to pay the whole amount.

                                      I explained them why I need to pay the amount for credit shield for a card which I am not using at all. Also how they can charge me any amount without sending any statement . But of no no use and they are adamant of paying the full amount.

                                      I am not sure what I should do.They are charging me for a service which I never asked & used and charging on a credit card which was discontinued 3 years back.

                                      Credit Card of ABN Amro Bank — Rxcessive finance charges

                                      ABN AMRO BANK ISSUED credit card no. [protected] and offered Balance Transfer from other card a/c @0.99% finance charges pm.
                                      From June, 09 they started charging finance charges 3.5% pm. On filing complaint they have given false arguments , manipulating account and charging late fees which continued till date. On scrutiny it was found that they have charged
                                      Late fee Rs. 1950.00
                                      Excess finance charges Rs. 3712.86

                                      The details were forwarded to their nodal officer on 11.11.09 for waiver of excessive charges, but a phone call came with no solutions and they behave like only bak in India. Their officers and employees don't care for their customers. Please examine and help me out of their anti public attitude.

                                      Credit Card — Discrepancies in Credit card Statement.

                                      I am an ABN-AMRO card holder since long time. I was explained by your one executive wrongly about some tour package. I told first you send the concerned documents to me, so that I can see whether it is suitable for me or not. He told when you find suitable, then fill up the documents and hand over it in any of our bank branch. So far I have not received any documents but money is charged in my coming statement. Today I got hopeless reply from your executive after 35 min my telephonic conversation.

                                      It is there fore I request you to look into the matter and wave off the wrongly charged money. But I have not received any card after 15 days after that I have again call to customer care and tell him to don’t send me the card please cancel my card immediately and they say that ok sir I will send your cancellation request to the credit card department.
                                      I wish to inform you that yesterday I have received one sms in my mobile phone that we have been unable to contact you for overdue payment on credit card ending 9625. Please pay immediately as nonpayment affects your Cr rating with CIBIL Ignore if paid.

                                      What the hell is this going on right now I am in Nepal for the official trip for last 1 month and today I have send one message to my wife and say that call to ABN AMRO bank and ask about regarding this payment she inform me that they will talk to me she say that he is out of India right now can you give the information to me. She said sorry I am not helping you send the email to ABN AMRO bank.

                                      So that’s why I am sending the email to you I didn’t have any card, so why should i pay. This is the fact that it is totally unknown reason to me and I will not be able to pay that money So you are requested to please send one revise statement with deduction the above transaction and please don’t send this type of mysterious figure in future.

                                      I was paying my instalments properly. But the bank is demanding now for the easy loan which was offered to me in my absence. I left India 2 years ago and this was accepted and my DD was received by some 3rd party. My DD was cleard by bank and finaly bank is demanding me to pay the whole ammount.

                                      Before 29th sept 2009 i received a call from ABN AMRO executive he told me --you are selected for our premium club offer and we are offered you a tour package I reject his offer but still he convenes me for availing a offer in which he is offered me premium tour package for Rs 9900/- and free wrist watch and asked for my credit card no and the same will be deducted from your ICICI Credit card
                                      If you are not use this offer with in 3 months we shall refund your money then i said interest will be charged by the ICICI bank on 9900/-he assured me no interest will be levied ,on 29th sept 2009 ABN AMRO deducted rs 9900/- from my icici credit card sir I am not a card holder with the ABN AMRO bank and even not a customer of your bank . on 20/11/2009 i received my icici credit card statement in which interest of rs 1128+ has been charged on the same amount after that many times I called the bank customer care Lucknow ,Gurgaon ,Noida and delhi ,customer care executives still hold my call for a long time(15-20minutes) and no response given from his side even I emailed it to them still no response...it has been a real hassle because ICICI Bank still charging Interest and i have not availed any tour package Somebody please help me and Refund my amount with interest (9900+1128.42+116.23+641.91+66.12+dec statement still awaiting )

                                      ABN AMRO — harresment by ABN amro

                                      I am being haressed by Mr. Santosh Singh who is calling on behal of ABN Amro bank from Phone no:[protected], suggesting that i have taken a credit card from ABN Amro bearing card no:[protected], issued in 2006, and there some oustanding payment against my name. They have also called up on my residence and have haressed my mom. I would like to mention here that i have never applied or used any credit card from ABN amro bank.

                                      I have been called by these people at ungodly hours since last 6 month and they have been haressing me and my mother by using abusive land abrasive language and it has become a torture of sorts now.

                                      Finally i asked them to share the documents with me and substetiate their so called claims which they have failed to do so far.

                                      I would like to lodge a forma complaint against ABN amro bank for false claims and accusitions against me. and would like to take help of this forum in highlighting the fraudulent practices of this bank.
