Dear Sir/Madam,

I want to draw your attention subject mention above that I want to settle my account of my ABN Amro credit card, I also want enough time to arrange amount but collection executive come use abusing language and say "submit amount today otherwise I will show you What I can do" and so much abusing language.

Before few days ago I have got a serious accident and missed my job, my all balance money spend on my treatment. Now there is no any source for income, how I can pay settle amount today.

I have requested to collection manager named Rakesh Suri (ABN Amro Wintaze house, civil line, Jaipur) to take enough time to submit but he refused and use un acceptable language.

Kindly attention on above point and do the needful .

    Hi,

    I am an ABN AMRO Credit Card holder with Card number : xxxxxxxxxxxx9250, I have received a call from ABN AMRO Credit Card department on a Holiday Package Promotional Offer. The caller was Mr.Kunal Das(EMp id: 3226, which is a fake), he initially said sir, we have started converting Cashback+reward points into cash and sending cheques to customers whose usage is more and its an initiative from company to esteemed customers and did you received any call from my executive on this about your cheque of 2700/- which will be dispatched to you latest by 7days and i said no i did not received any call. He apoligized and said sir i will provide you the details first of all you will receive a call from my executive on promotioal offer and you say OK for that offer and no point of time during the conversation say "No" or "Deny the offer" as it will be audited. Later, that will be escalated to me (Kunal Das) and i will reject the offer from my end the only thing you should do is say "I did not carry the card" i dont remember the card number then the executive will understand that you are not interested on the offer. But to my surprise when i receive a call from executive and when everything i said accordingly the executive say i will go ahead and take this as your ok for the offer i said boss hold on i never said ok for the offer. Again i receive a call ony land line from Mr. Kunal Das saying why did you say no to the offer and dont worry i will take care he said. I got a doubt and i called up the local office they say we dont have any details on the same. Again i got a call from ABN Amro saying this is a verification call on my agreement to the offer and i clearly said her i never accepted the offer then she says surprisingly ok sir and disconnects the call. This issue is continued for 2 days and i escalated to many people but of no use again i receive calls regarding the same offer. I have mentioned the details below about my conversation to people there and the number from which i have received a call.

    i m having ABN AMBRO Titanium card, i never applied for tour package( they have talked to me on phone & on that also i did not agree to accept) but they reflected the amount Rs.5056.2/- in my statement.

    I completely agree ABN Amro Credit card has the most pathetic customer service
    iam apply credit card before 2 month nothing responds for that, than now 1 week before one lady call to me, she said your card is approved, then no responds.
    what happen my card, pls explaine me.
    Exactly the same incident happened to me. I have done all complaints, etc. Last week I got a call from ABN AMRO that your charged has been reversed, but I have to pay Rs 300 which is due as service charge. I agreed to pay the same by post dated cheque, provided the revised statement is sent to me with the clearly stated statement that the fraud amount has been revised. I have not received the statement till date - and I this is another fraud!!

      Dear Sir,
      My name is VAIBHAV CHAUHAN, I hve an abn amro freedom Credit card ([protected]). almost 2 yrs back i had purchased thru kingfisher airlines an air ticket, due to some site problems i was charged thrice on my credit card according to my credit card bill, i had contacted immediately after the transaction to abn amro customer care & notified them about this for which they told me to contact the merchant(kingfisher) & they wil notify them(abn amro) to reverse the amount & charge only for 1 ticket instead of 3, i did tht & customer care of kingfisher confirmed me via email of which i have a copy that they had charged twice only & the reversal instruction of 1 ticket has been sent, they also gave me the transaction detaila via an attachment in their email, i did forward that attachement to abn amro, bt they did charge for 2 tickets in my bill & till date they have been leving finance charges on me evrery month since last 22 months, their reply to my mail was that merchant is responsible & i have to pay for it, i did pay for 1 ticket & have been payin for all the transations that i did since then bt not for that extra ticket, now that ticket amount + the finance charges have totalled upto Rs.13000 approx.Their people have been constantly harrassing me with phone calls to pay the bill, one time it happened they called me continously for a week every day 2-3 times & kept askin for money, last month they called me & said that if i pay the min amount due(around rs.500) they would reverse the whole finance charges & amt of that extra ticket,
      i did that but they dint do it & sending bill with the same amount + finance charges of that month, i have stopped using that card since last 6 months, I the copies of the mails i have sent to abn amro & their replys also..PLS HELP ME IN THIS.

      hi vaibhav, i totally agree with u, i had a similar experience with this bank, i knw this abn people do harass very badlly n r total frauds, these peoples license shud b cancelled
      Dear Sir/Mam,

      I Shilpa Agarwal is holding ABN AMRO CC since June 2007, i swiped my card for almost upto my full card limit n got it converted into EMI.Got married so address got changed, however informed the customer care people about the updated address but all in vain. statements are sent to the cardholder as a reminder of the due amount no matter its monthly EMI or any other kind of payment. However ABN AMRO fails to understand this right of the customer.

      Due to non receipt of the statement i would miss on payments n these bank people charge me heavy finance charge & interest rate on complaining them about the situation n the reason of not making the payment they would promise that the statement will be delivered in next 5-7 working days, but all fake promises i never used to get any statement, i just used to get n number of calls from different ABN executives from collection department sometimes from delhi n sometimes from Noida...then somehow one of the collection manager helped me with the reversal of all the charges n i made the payment. History repeats itself is really true in this situation, a sthe whole scenario was repeated but this time with a difference...ABN did an automatic debit from my ABN saving a/c with any confirmation from my side...on enquiring the senior manager in customer care i got to know that it is theit policy, though i was again in conversation with that collection manager for resolving the issue. on calling the customer care for this automatic debit i just got a reference number for the complain & a promised call back which i never received. The amount debited was more than the actual EMI n noone answere why that extra amount was deducted.

      i always tell the collection people that the day i receive the statement i would make the payment...without knowing where the money i pay is going i cannot make the payment.These people just make your life so difficult, they never bother what time they are calling or how many times in a day the customer is getting call or how many people are pitching in for the same case...so its like describing your situation with each n every executive from ABN...which just results in wastage of time n heated argument with no resolution.

      seeking your help n advise in same.

      i agree man, these guys shud b banned..., bt nobody knws hw to tke action against these people, thts d reason they harass people, i have told all my frnds never to deal with abn amro bank

      Ref card no-[protected]

      to begin with, i got my card cancelled in june 2007 thru customer care followed by letter and email.
      with no payment due at that point of time.

      consequently there was no response from your end and NOW since 2 months i am been harrased by calls asking for heavy payment . After which i spoke to Mr sameer of Delhi his cell no been [protected] who confirmed to settle the amout at Rs 700 which i decided to pay and have paid on 10th jan 2009 by chq no 424082 of HDFC bank. i am presently waiting for NOC asconfirmed by mr sameer to be delivered in 48 hrs.

      Once again i am been harrased by calls and asked for more payment after which when i spoke to sameer at the above given cell no he refused to be acknowledged as sameer..

      Plz be sure that i want NOC and i am not liable to pay any amount at all as there was NO PAYMENT due while asking for cancellation.
      Request to consider this seriously and quickly confirm NOC.

      ABN AMRO Credit Card — Unnnecessary Charges & Harrassment

      I had taken a credit card from ABN AMRO Bank (Card no. [protected]) in October 2006. I was using the card normally but would not recieve the statement on time. In April 2007, I recieved a call from the Bank intimating that ABN AMRO have a tie up with ICICI Lombard & are giving me a Home Insurance policy to all card users of ABN AMRO. I declined the offer intimating that I'm not intrested on the same.

      However, when I recieved the statement in May 2007, I was charged with Rs. 12000/- as one time premium for the policy & Rs. 534/- per month as EMI for 12 months for the policy premium. The policy no intimated was [protected]. However, here I would like to state that I don't own a home so obviously I would not buy a home insurance policy. Moreover, till date, I have not even recieved the policy. I contacted the costumer care & told them about the issue the day I recieved the statement. I was told that I should not pay till the amount is reversed. However, still nothing happened from the Bank's side. I kept calling the customer care again & again. I don't have all the complaint numbers, but the last one was complain # [protected]. Inspite of several complaints from my end, no action was taken by the bank. I was only told to contact ICICI Lombard to reverse the policy. I called & wrote a letter & a mail to ICICI Lombard, but I was told that since the problem was with ABN AMRO card, I should lodge a complain with them only.

      I wrote a mail to [protected]@in.abnamro.com on 18th Dec 2007 intimating all the details & issues; no responce was given from their end. I sent a reminder again on 20th Dec 2007. as a result of the reminder, I recieved a response from the Bank on the same day telling me that they cannot reverse the policy & that I have to pay the amount due on the card. I kept paying the minimum amount due each month without fail till June 2008 since I never had any intension of defaulting on the card. Here I would also like to mention that the card was blocked in November 2007. I wrote a letter to ABN AMRO office in Noida 7 also faxed the same on 17th June 2008.

      Since no action was taken from the Bank's end inspite of so many reminders & complaints, I stopped makin any payment after July 2008. After that I recieved a mail from Mr. Vikas Nagi in ABN AMRO's Risk Management - Consumer Banking Delhi (on 3rd September 2008). I myself called the gentleman & told him about all the problems & wrote him a mail on 26th September 2008 and also updated my new contact number. After that I kept recieving calls from some executive or the other from the Bank & i kept repeating my problems but nothing has been done.

      As per Bank, now the amount due on the card is over Rs. 45000/-. Sir, I have repeated time & again that the Bank should remove the amount charged on the card for the policy, the EMI amount charged plus the intrest & the late fees charged on the card & I will pay the remiaing amount the same day. But they never call back with any solution. they only say that I should settle this with Bank by paying Rs.[protected]/-. But why should I pay even a rupee if it is not spent by me.

      Now I have recieved a notice from the Bank's advocate to be present before the Arbitrator for hearing. Please help me to sort this issue. My only point is that I should not pay for something that I have't spent.

        ABN AMRO Mastercard — I have not received any statement

        Please do send me the statement monthly wise else I am not going to pay any bill settlement if I have pending for the same.

        ABN AMRO Credit Card — Didn't Receive Credit Card

        I was approved ABN Amro Creditcard([protected]) 1-2 months back. Due to change in address, I didn't recieve the card. I've complained about this several times but there isn't any response from you. With the credit card, I've also applied for Relience Insurence with the credit card. When I called ABN Amro Custumer Care, They told that my card has been blocked and I need to pay some amount to unblock my card. I've paid 6, 500Rs(1500 +5000) for that. Till now I didn't recieve any response from you. I've been recieving my Credit Card Statements but not the Credit Card. Please do the needful to get my Credit Card Back.
        I have been issued a abn amro credit card. Initially, they told that there is 1% cash back on any purchase you make. I was happy, and in starting 2-3 months, it was okay. Afterwards, they sent a letter saying, your cash back shall be deemed as credit points, you need to dial our customer care to redeem every time. When u dial CC, they always reply- this process will start next month onwards.
        Response is always negative.
        My Credit Card No. is [protected] . I request you to tell me how to see my monthly C.C bill online.

        Hello Sir,

        Iam SIRISHA.G.V holding ABN AMRO Credit Card with No. 5415 xxxx 2684 xxx. We are facing problem in account related statements done by your bank. we were paying credit card bill through EMI option, we have decided to pay the entire amount, contacted the Customer Care and asked for the procedure to preclosure the EMI. they have informed us to send a letter regarding preclosure to HEAD OFFICE. We have send a letter for preclosure after getting confirmation from your Head Office regarding the total amount of Preclosure. we have paid the total amount (Rs:44774/-) on 3rd June2008. Later we were out of the city not able to see the statements, we came back in january and noticed that statements are still stating regarding the payment. Then we called to Customer Care and talked regarding this issue. they have then closed that EMI option. Later in the month of April we tried to do transactions with the card but it is blocked, when we called to CUSTOMER CARE, still they were saying that money more is yet to be paid, actually what happened was in the month of january they have just closed the EMI option, but they didnt close the account for which the interest has been stated from the month of OCTOBER to January where we have paid the total amount, now the interest came upto Rs.7999/-.

        This is not the problem araised with us, we have done everything as per the procedure said by your customer care, your executives have not updated the account for 4 months and even after paying the total amount, for that 4 months they said us to pay interest. means we have to pay the total amount and since you didnt update we have to pay interest for that also.

        Reagarding this we have given so many complaints but nobody was receiving nicely and responding correctly regarding this. so please look into this issue and clear my account as soon as possible. For us no need to pay anymore amount since we already paid the total amount as per the amount said your customer care by the month of June2008.

        ABN AMRO Credit Card — Statement Not received

        Dear All,

        I am facing a lot of problem with ABN Amro Credit Card.
        Bank is not providing the statement in time and above that bank is asking for Late fee around Rs. 600 and Financial Charges upto Rs.800 . Earlier when I was contacting customer care to explain the financial charges they were not telling the fact that this is a fine. So far bank has taken more than Rs. 4000 toward financial charges. Last week I have paid around Rs.20, 000 to close my credit card, but still bank is sending me a mail to pay around 6000 rupees to cancel the credit card. As per my knowledge I have transacted around Rs.37, 000 from December 08, So far I have paid around Rs.50, 000. Pls. guide me how to proceed further. Now bank is not contacting me because i have paid 20, 000 last week.

        Sub:Lodging complain against Gaurav (ABNAMRO)and JayABNAMRO) for misleading me with wrong information

        Below is my detail conversation with concern person regarding my Oriental payment reversal complain,


        One lady called me once and said this is the offer,
        “You go any where of India and stay for 4days 5nights” like that some offer.
        I only said offer is good, but I dint accept the offer, again she asked, “may I know the reason why you are saying no”!
        I said it’s a big process that’s why I don’t want.
        Again she said, “no its very simple. 1st the amount will debit from your account, if you are not going then you can reverse your amount by a request.

        I said ok, I’ll think about this.And she also said after this call you’ll receive another call from another dept. And they’ll ask you all the details about your date of birth and about your card no. and also ask you about mother’s maiden name.I didn’t commit anything to her on that day.

        But When I saw my SEP month stmt I saw that oriental bill amount along with service charges of 4500.00 are there.

        I again request to customer care and send mail to card service centre that without my commitment how would you debit this amount from my account!

        I requested them for reversing the above full amount of 4500.00.

        After some day I got a call from Mr. Pravin and Gaurav. They said we reversed the amount of 2000 rs, and they again put an offer behind me that with the rest amount of 2500.00 you can avail the same offer.

        I told to them that, "your offer is good but am very clearly saying to you that this is not atall my commitment."
        I’ll let you know after Oct 12 2009 and you can make me a call after 12th of oct 2009.
        After that I didn’t receive any call.But am very surprise that again the rest amount of 2500 has been debitted from my account.

        Again today on 28th of october 2009, i got a call from Gaurav from the no.[protected]
        and Jay from the no. [protected].And they are just mannerless and forcing me to pay the amount at any cost even though i had no commitment with Mr Gaurav.I just had told him ok i will think about it and i will let you know.As i recollect there was no mention of these words "yes i'm interested" during my telephonic conversation.There was no official confirmation from my side authorizing you to go ahead with Oriental plan, hence it stronglly object their behaviour.

        ABN AMRO — Folding the Credit card holder

        Hello,
        I have cancelled the card on 2007 with in two days from the date of card
        received,because the card rules says to pay the annual maintenance
        fees,service charges etc.(At the time of collecting the document from me the executive said there is no service charges and maintenance fee etc.. to the card so that only i have agreed to given the document).

        I am very surprising to their mail after 6 month for due the amount on the card, then i have called the customer care executive for this details they said at the time of requested the card the health insurency ICICI Lombard policy was activiated on the card so you have a due.

        I have asked the customer care executive, If the card is not in live,how the policy is activiated. At the time of cancel the card ,the customer card executive did not says to pay any outstanding amount.Eventhough i did not received any family back health policy certificate from ICICI Lombard. So how to cancel the ICICI Lombard Policy and how then i will pay this outstanding amount.

        Still they are calling me two to three days once and asking to pay around 10,000 RS with interest or else they said to put me in the defaulter list

        I am not sure what will do, please any one advice for this.

        Its been a long saga of not getting the statements of the card and rather getting reminders to pay the card with threatening to go to CIBIL. Can you please send me my statement please?

        That time, i paid ICICI Lambord Insurance thru ABN Credit Card. 03 months i paid thru this card, but i want to closure my insurance, so i paid full payment for late penalty fees (Rs.3500/-).

          I had applied for personnal loan At an ABN AMRO BANK.. But as per their record my cibil shows negative record. But in my life I never refused by any bank for CREDIT CARD or any loan. Therefore please send me my negative CIBIL record that I can contact bank and can clarify their doubt about my CIBIL record.             I applied for personal loan from ABN Amro bank. The person called me and took all the relevant documents required for getting personal loan. I received an email after few days from bank regarding large transaction being made on my credit card of Rs. 15000/ . I informed to bank that I havent made any such transaction nor I have purchased anything. When tried to clarify about the same, bank told that the transaction is for Aviva policy. I never applied for this policy nor I have received any documents regarding it. I never authorized bank to pay Aviva anything. Now they are sending me bills for the same adding up interests and late fees. I don't know what to do? I have complained it to both Aviva and ABN Amro bank and I doubt if there is any pact between them to sell policy in this way to customers!

              Dear Sir,

              I, Neeraj Sharma resident of 344, Masjid Moth, South Extension Part-II, New Delhi - 110049 maintaining my credit card no. [protected] for the last 6 years (approx.) and till date I have been getting all the banking services from you hassle freely.

              But unfortunately and quite surprisingly I got an email from you on 11.09.2008 that my address has been changed to SC-5G, Street No.1, Garima Garden, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad on my request. Whereas I have never made any such request till date and even today I have been residing at the address mentioned above. On the very day I informed you that I haven’t made any such request for change of address. Further on the very next day i.e. 12.09.2008 I received a call[protected] from Mr. Nikhil of your Bank (Fraud Department, Sector-10, Noida, UP) and he inform me that they are taking necessary action towards change of my address. When I told him that I haven’t make any such request then he clarified that they have received similar type of such cases and they wanted to sought them out but in the absence of corporation of credit card account holder they became helpless and couldn’t take any legal action against such fraudulent persons, but I assure him of my full corporation in the matter. Once again my surprise I got an email message on 13.09.2008 wherein I was informed that a purchased of Rs.1, 30, 000/- on my credit card has been transferred to the 24 months installment Plan. As soon as I came to know about it (at 09:57 pm approx. 13.09.2008) I asked Mr. Aryan (Mumbai office) of your Bank on Helpline No.[protected] and enquired about this transaction of Rs.1, 30, 000/-, he informed me that a D.D. has been prepared in your name. Then I told him to stop the payment of the D.D. to which he obeyed and sent instructions to the man concerned in this regard.

              On 14.09.2008 (Sunday) I went to the address (SC-5G, Street No.1, Garima Garden, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, UP) posing as a courier man alongwith my 3 friends (namely Niranjan, Vinod & Rajesh) to check and find out the factual position of the matter and on reaching there I found that a person namely Harun (Mobile No. [protected]) alongwith her wife and childrens are living there. I told his wife that I have brought a courier for Neeraj Sharma and where is he. She told me that he was not at home and gave mobile number of her husband i.e. Harun. I called Harun from my Mobile and enquired about Neeraj Sharma after that he told me to deliver the courier to his wife but I refused to deliver the same to her wife and asked Harun that what does that courier contain then he replied that the courier in question contains a Demand Draft. Then I asked him to come to his house and take the delivery of the courier personally. Then he reached there within 5 to 10 minutes.

              When Harun arrive on the spot I asked him where is Neeraj Sharma? Then Harun told me that he (Neeraj Sharma) is friend of his brother (Harun’s brother, namely Israr, Mobile No. [protected]). When I asked Harun to tell his brother Israr to call Neeraj Sharma to take the delivery of the courier, then Israr told Harun that Neeraj Sharma is not there and you (Harun) collect the courier. Then I told Harun that I am not going to delivery the courier to him since it’s case of fraud (420) on hearing this Harun again call his brother Israr (who was admitted in the Hospital namely Ambey Hospital for treatment at that time) and Israr instructed his brother Harun not to take the delivery of the courier.

              Keeping in view of the new situation I inform the local police authorities of the area (Tulsi Niketan Chowki, Thana Sahibabad, Incharge of the Chowki is Mr. Arun Kumar, SI, Mobile No. [protected]) to which the police authorities responded promptly and took Harun into their custody. They received a written complaint from me and initiated action against Harun, they also told me that Harun and Israr are the anti social aliments of the area and they have committed such things in past also. Then an influential man (namely Mr. Haji) reached Police Chowki and advocated in favour of Harun and Israr. The authorities also became inactive and when I observed that nothing concrete will come out then I decided to come back and take up the matter with the Bank authorities. On the request of police authorities of the area (Mr. Arun Kumar, Incharge) I informed them in writing that I don’t want to take any action against Harun who was in their custody at that time and shall take up the matter with the concerned authorities of Delhi.

              Sir I have narrated the entire episode before you and suspect the involvement of Bank Staff and I request you to investigate the matter and take appropriate action in the matter without delay under intimation to me.

                I got a call from Ms.Ritu.
                her contact number is :91-[protected].
                She offered me a good deal of Credit Card and for that I have submitted documents to thier executive.
                According to Ms.Ritu i was supposed to get the Credit Card(CC) within 15 days and now its more than a month but there is no phone call or nothing and i even dont know whther my documents got submitted into ABM Amro or not.
                Now i want all the documents back so that no one can misuse that.
                Kindly help where should i go.

                They did the same thing to me. Offered a card I didn't want, persisted, collected all the documents, even did telephonic verification from local (Bangalore) & Delhi & even a person came to verify the address. Then they just disappeared. I have no idea what happened to my application. I also want my documents back
                Today i felt that big mistake of my life was to take the abn amro card. i am humiliated and abused by one of your executive to me and my family from the phone #[protected] that i feel like...

                i had already paid the amount for my bills through ch # 268462 DT OCT 17, 2008 for Rs 2000 in drop box at hauz khas but i dont know how the ch didnt hit my account and there was continuous calls from the different phone #'s an about 5-6 calls a day. i told them i am not in dlehi and will be back by saturday only and then i will pay in cash but after that also i got daily calls from the bank and the worst was today about 4:15 pm when a lady call and she kinda a roud and loud and i tryn explain that i already ahd a word and some one will come and pick money from my house tomorrow she just said something and banged the phone, when i call her back she just keep bang in the phone and in last there a person pickd up the phone and start abusing like he is talking to any pick pocket er...

                i had read story's about your abusive calls in newspaper and news but i am shocked when i am myself is victim for same. i really need an explanation for all this. is this the way u deal with u customer... i really dont understand how u guys mange to be # 1 in indian market but one thing is sure i certainly take this matter to media and consumer court as fortunately i have a voice recording of a person in was talking over the phone...

                My credit card has dispatched but still not received.I have received the massage from Express IT courier Airwaybill no -[protected].
                My Name is Abhijeet Borade, Salary A/C No.-1498768 . My Debit Card was trapped in Zensar ABN ATM Machine for 3rd time, I personally visited the Bank {Camp Branch}on 08th-March-2009. They gave me a time frame of 7 Working Days which closes by 17-March-2009, and I never received the debit card nor the PIN no. nor a single call from ABN AMBRO.

                I have followed-up with the help line atleast 5-10 times . I spoke to a floor manager Mr. Ramesh Bhagat on 12-March-2009, he commited that I would be receiving the documents within 7 working days and Ms Anjali on 17-March-2009 promised the same within 3 working days, but I haven't received the ABN DEBIT CARD nor the ABN DEBIT PIN no.

                I called the helpline on 02-April-2009 but they were stating that it would take another 3 working days. Today is Thursday and I am moving out of station on Saturday 04-April-2009 .Kindly, check with your records, I had been to the bank and did cash withdrawals three times, one for a small amount {travelling from kharadi to camp just for smaller amount is wasting time & money }and 2 times I had opted for Cash Delivery.

                I am now tired of this. This is the 3rd time when the ABN DEBIT Card has been blocked by the ABN ATM Machine when it was not my fault. Everytime the bank representative admits that it is machine's malfunction, then a question arises why should I suffer for this, when the bank is not interested in sending the debit card immediately ? I was interested till now, so that I would have a same salary account for longest duration as it effects one"s credit rating { directly, inderectly }but now am fed-up with ABN AMBRO "s Service as they are just interested in being Cheer Leader"s instead of being Customer Service Leaders.

                If you can"t deliver me the ATM PIN no. till Friday Night 03-April -2009, request you to CANCELL MY SALARY ACCOUNT - 1498768 WITH ABN AMBRO AND SEND THE MONEY ON MY CONT. ADDRESS.

                After doing so much of follow-up { 09- March-2009 till the date} I am not getting the resolution, Hence I am forwarding this complaint to you, Please look in to the matter and help me out.

                  I was allowed with a Credit Card facility from your bank bearing account number: [protected] with a credit limit of Rs. 46, 000.00. On various occasions I have availed this facility as per details given at appendix ‘A’ column ‘a’ to the tune of Rs. 36, 554.25. I have made a total payment of Rs. 66, 720.00 on various occasions as per details of payment made given in appendix ‘A’ column ‘b’
                  As per your last statement of account dated 17/08/2008, issued to me, the total amount due was Rs. 55, 377.67. (Copy of the statement Attached), against which I have made payments on various occasions as per details given in Appendix ‘A’ column ‘b’ which sums up to Rs. 66, 720.00. (Can be verified with the bank statements.)
                  On 19th July 2008, your collection agents wade into my office; kidnapped me & claimed that Rs. 45, 000.00 is the outstanding balance due to be paid to the bank by me. (Agents name: Mr. Manjunath, Mr. Kumar, Mr. Somashekhar; all from Horizon Enterprices, Rajajinagar, Bangalore.) One officer from ABN Amro Bank Bangalore (Mr. Ateeq Ahmed) also accompanied the gang on the spot.
                  It was a very clear scene of kidnapping & demanding ransom from me as they were threatening me of some kind of a torture cell.
                  I had to get arranged Rs. 45, 000.00 [CASH] as they were not ready to accept a cheque payment through my uncle to get myself released as there was a threat to my life. They have given me a receipt for the amount paid by me on 19th July 2008 which is attached.
                  They have not produced any statement of account or settlement letter for demanding the ransom. As I wanted a settlement letter and statement of account, I visited the Manager ABN Amro Bank a number of times but you have not given me the same as yet though more than a month have elapsed after making full payment standing as balance in my credit card account.
                  I here by request you to give a settlement letter & statement of account from the date of issue of my card. Else I’m afraid that your agents may kidnap me for ransom again.
                  Awaiting for an early reply from all the responsible officials

                  This is to inform you that one Mr.Sanjay has been disturbing me from the past one hour informing that i have an outstanding dues in respect of my credit card a sum of Rs.5000/- when i have cleared all the amount due to the back for more than five years back. It surprises me when he start demanding that i have to pay the said above amount is due. I am repeating once again that there is no dues outstanding to the Bank in respect of the Credit Card. Please arrange to take appropriate against Mr.Sanjay for having disturbed me from the following number[protected]. If he repeats again on this issue i have no other alternative than to take up the matter to the women's wing/Police Authorities. If really your registers reflects that i am due to the Bank a Sum of Rs.5000/- which was cleared over five years ago, the Bank authorities can take appropriate as per the prevailing rules instead of disturbing by calling me over phones. If really dues are outstanding by me why the Bank authorities were sleeping all these years and now suddenly today one Mr.Sanjay woke up and started threatening over phone. This is uncalled for from a recognised International Bank and i am very sorry to say this.

                      Dear ABN Amro Bank Credit Card division Incharge,

                      I had deposided a cheque No.643041 dated 21.7.08 drawn on Andhra Bank SV College, New Delhi for Rs.3271/- towards my credit card statement/bill due on 27.8.08. I got a message on my cell that payment not received for the cheque. Immediately I had deposited another cheque No.89476 dated 27/7/08 for Rs.3271/- on 27/7/08. I got the statement dated 07/08/2008 wherein it was mentioned that Ret Chq handling Fee Rs. 500 and Service Tax Rs.61/80. I learn that the cheque was not submitted to the Bank physically, when enquired our bank, the manager of Andhra Bank told me. I had a discussion with the customer care on 11/8/08 at 6.55 p.m. of ABN Amro Credit Card division and requested for reversal of the amounts. I made my second request again on 19/8/08 to the customer care (N0. [protected]). Again on 21/8/08 at 5.40 p.m. I contacted the Customer Care inquiring why the reversal has not been done so far, Ms. Sowri at the customer care, replied that the Bank has not taken any decision and it is still open and advised me to submit a cheque for the Bill amount deducting the amount of Rs.561.80. Accordingly I had deposited a cheque for Rs.3250/-
                      I want to know 1) why the ABN Amro Bank, without sending the cheque to the Andhra Bank SV College, New Delhi for clearance had taken a decision to charge me as a defaulter. And 2) why the ABN Amro Bank can not take the requests of the customers and act accordinly. If the amount is not reversed, I want to cancel all my ABN Amro Credit Cards with immediate effect.

                        I am also experienced the same from the ABN AMRO Bank .
                        I fully agree with the view sjared by one of customers of ABN AMRO credit card. The staff of ABN AMRO are very rude. They dont know how to speak with the customers. The only thing that they know is to COVER THEIR GIVER TARGET AT ANY COST. They will make false promises and also instigate the person at another end by speaking rude.

                        Its a BOGUS company. Its good that we have SBI, Bank of Baroda etc whose sales executive will come at home, explain all in detail. Here with ABN and ICICI its all by telephone. Its only target that execturive will achive.
                        I got a call from a called priya from ABN AMRO who initially was very pushy to the core to have me get a credit card...i politely declined, and wen i did that, that lady hurled abuses at me and hung up the phone up before i could even react!ABN AMRO has my account which I'm definitely going to close down because of a cheap behavior from the representative called priya.i tried calling her number back but it obviously is unreachable.Please help me someone ...the number from where that call came is [protected].I called up ABN AMRO customer service @ this number41245555.An agent named sakhi( located in mumbai) was hesitant to help me in my delima...i was truly shaken n shocked by the abuses hurled at me by a telecaller frm ABN AMRO - jus because i didn't want the credit card!!! so, agent Sakhi transfers me to another dept hurriedly even before i finished speaking to her .!I wait on the call for 5 min until i reach another agent, located in gurgaon she hesitantly says when i asked her ... i try to get help from her, she says she'll connect me to a diff dept ...i refused to be transferred and ask for the supervisor.i wait on the line for 25 min fr a supp to come on the line .She is of no help ..she firmly says she'll transfer to a credit card dept n before i can say no, m transferred, now to agent called Akansa Gupta( located in mumbai )she eventually disconnects the call after putting me on hold for 28 min .Now wat can i do in this situation? i wasted my precious time in all this run around from agents of ABN AMRO .Can anybody help me here .How can such rudy n cheap agents get away jus like that? I'm so humiliated, insulted and disillusioned.I hate ABN AMRO BANK to the core now .ASAP i'll be closing off my account and will go to any lengths -the media, net, phone, personal and work place etc... i'll make sure that i educate as much people i can about ABN AMRO's credit card selling agents...i'm even complaining about this to the police ... i don mind running around for it as long as in the end the people involved in harassing existing customers for credits cards in such a manner.can somebody le help me wat else to do?i jus can curse that agent called priya who ruined my day jus because i refused to get a credit card from her .once again that 's number is [protected]..
                        I got a call from ABN Amro Bank, saying that you are among 200 customers who have been selected for price.
                        Actually this scheme was with 4 seasons offer which costs Rs.4999, they said to me that you will not be charged for this because you are already selected for this gift.
                        I asked 2-3 times that i will not pay a single rupee for this whether i get gift or not they said ok.

                        I have recording of all the calls, if they do not remove that amount from my account, i will file a case, and i will claim for 1 lakhs for harashing me.
                        I got a call fro ABN Amro bank regarding the 4 seasons Offer. A telecaller by the name of priyanka called & said you have been selected for this ooffer & you need to pay rs. 4999 if you want to.

                        She was very rude, & trying to compel me to avail this Offer. I said i am not interested & i cannot even imagine the reaction of this telecaller. She said if you were not interested then why you are wasting my time & hung of the phone.

                        I strongly recommend all ABN Amro customers to pl stop using services of ABN Amro. Its the worst bank & service executies are too rude & behaviour is too bad.
                        abn amro is a fraud bank.i got a call frm sahil who said i will not be charged anything for four season offfer.still i was charged and when i called them they refused to reverse the charge on the flimsy excuse that my name has been sent for lucky draw and instead offered me a 25 percent discount.terrible bank, terible staff

                          This is to inform you that my name is SANJEEV KUMAR, i have taken a personal loan. i have paid 5 installments, suddenly i got my loan track in that track the rate of interest is larger than they committed me, than i call in the costumer care of ABN AMRO and i launched the complaint there, after all that they did not support me, after tat one day a person(MR .VIPUL) is came from the collection agency and he promised to solve the problem & he given me in the written on ABN AMRO letter Pad to solve the problem, i said ok after that i given the installment . suddenly today someone given a call from the collection agency his name is VIPIN CHAUDHARY & METHEW and his email id is vipin.[protected]@in.abnamro.com and his office contact no. is [protected]. this person called to my residence no. and he said so many wrong things, this person was harassed my family so much, he were talking with my family in the way i talk to my family on my name. he were discussing personal matters with my family, he were asking about my all the family members, he said to female members of my family "babe" so many nonsense he did with my family. this person is the owner of this collection agency. now i m not going to pay any installments because of his behavior, i want from ABN AMRO Bank to take the action against this collection agency. and i am going to launch a FIR. and i am going to give all the details to PRESS.

                            I received a PLATINUM card from ABN AMRO two months ago.
                            This card was sold to me by the following person

                            When Mr. Pandey visited me the first time, I was informed that the Platinum card entailed an initial joining fees + annual charge totalling Rs 15, 000/- and henceforth the annual charges would be Rs 4000/- per annum. I refused to apply for the card on the grounds that I was not ready to pay any annual charges. Mr. Pandey came back the following month and informed that now the ABN AMRO Platinum card was a LIFETIME FREE card with NO annual Charges after I had paid the initial Rs 15000/- against which I would receive a FREE airline ticket and a MONTH BLANC PEN. I agreed and applied for the same.

                            After receiving the card and getting the wrong address corrected, I confirmed from their call centre but was informed that there was NO LIFETIME FREE CARD ever launched by ABN Amro. On reconfirming the same with Mr. Pandey he insists that my card is a LIFETIME Free card. I sent a letter to the Customer Service Dept and CC to Mr. Pandey.

                            Mr. Pandey once again confirmed on phone and also by email that there will not CHARGES in the coming years. I also received a call from Mr. Sachin Vig from Platinum Services Gurgaon, Delhi that the card was not FREE and was surprised that Mr. Pandey had confirmed that it was free even in writing. But he couldn’t do anything about the same.

                            If this is the case, I feel completely cheated and hence refuse to accept the card or pay any of the charges related to the card. I have paid the actual charges incurred by me already and would not like to pay any Bank charges or the interest thereon. The bank is insisting for me to pay the joining fees and also levying interest charges on the unpaid fees and other charges. This is most ridiculous and I feel entangled in the ABN AMRO Web.

                            I totally agree with Mr. Kedia. I have had my own unpleasant experience of dealing with Mr. Sachin Vig. He is based in Noida actually and I have met him in person at his Noida office. He lies with perfection and directly looks into your eyes while doing so. He is a young lad in his middle twenties.
                            ABN AMRO offered me an upgrade from the existing Smart Gold to a Platinum card. I checked their website and liked what I saw of the Platinum card's appearance. It is beautiful and designed by Rohit Bal. I agreed to receive the card but was sent something that was not even distantly similar to the one shown on Abn Amro Website. They told me that this was an executive card and that was what I had agreed to receive. I was taken aback for having to pay so much for such an ugly worthless card. I refused to activate it and asked for a real Platinum by Rohit Bal. They kept on Dilly Dallying and kept having females call me in sweet voice trying to persuade me to pay for with that ugly card. Beware, the females sound educated but they are no less liars than that Sachin Vig guy. Finally this Sachin guy asked me to return that ugly card and agreed to issue the real Platinum. I returned it to him personally. Its been one and a half year since but I haven't heard form them. I left for US a month later and forgot this incident untill I came across this complaint of MR.Kedia. Thought it better to leave my bit at this great forum. I don't advise ABN AMRO to anyone anymore, more so since they downgraded their reward point scheme lately. Citi bank is competitive and they haven't resorted to such lowly practices yet. I recommend them instead.
                            I have similar experiences with the Bank. I am victim of a collection scam 2 years back. A fraud came in my office and collected 7000/-, after showing me a fake ID card and issuing a fake rcpt. The reciept looked original in every way. After 20 days I get a call from a local call centre asking me for the monthly minimum due. I was told that I have been fooled by a collection agent and he has fooled many more by issuing rcpt of the bank in Chandigarh. I went to the collection agency in panchkula and also have sent numerous mails along with Phone call for the recovery of the money, but without success. Twice I got an email response and one phone call for some investigating officer. Till today two tears later I have not rcvd any money / refund from ABN AMRO. My date of birth is documented wrong in the records of the Bank. I have approached them several times. Till today I get a text message from ABN AMRO to wish me a happy birthday on SOME VAGUE DATE. Its besides, that I cannot access my e-statement without the date of birth and year.

                            BTW, I have rcvd the PLATINUM CARD too, but looks very ordinary. NO SIGN OF ROHIT BAL AND HIS CREATIVITY.

I have made the payment of Rs. 2, 946.00 in the month of March 2005. This payment Rs. 2, 946.00 was the actual amount which I have used from your credit card after that in month of March-05 I have received one more statement showing the later fee. In this connection, I would like to inform you that I had already paid the 100% due payment in time & this payment of delay because non receipt of the statement in time.

                              Now, I am getting some harassment call from your bank which is legally wrong. Kindly note that amount which I have used from your card has already been paid to you.

                              If I will found any such type of call again from your bank then I will be forced to put a legal complaint in consumer forum and the concern responsible department of Reserve Bank of India, New Delhi.

Last month I talked to customer care service ( Ms Supria), I explained every thing to her, she agreed with the same and forwarded my request ( No. [protected]) and asked me not to deposit any money as only amount I have to pay was late fee only. But to my surprise in fresh card statement only 350 Rs was reversed and again 350 Rs were marked as late fees again.
                              Three months back I was given some package without my permission. I was charged for the same . Although it was reversed on my protest but I have to pay service charges and interest during the same months
                              Please instruct them to stop harassing me by the bank and take necessary action.

                                I AM HOLDING ABN AMRO MAKE MY TRIP TITANIUM CREDIT CARD. I HAVE USED THAT CARD ON MAKE MY TRIP WEBSITE TO PURCHASE AIR TICKETS ON 18th JUNE 2008.

                                AS PER THE CARD AGREEMENT I WILL BE GETTING Rs 5000 WORTH OF HOTEL STAY OR HOLIDAY VOUCHER AFTER USING THIS CARD FIRST ON MAKE MY TRIP.

                                I HAVENT RECEIVED THIS VOUCHER TILL NOW. ALSO I HAVE RAISED THIS ABN AMRO CUSTOMER CARE AND HEAD CARD SERVICES OF THEIR DEPT. THEY TOLD ME THAT I HAVE TO SPOKE TO MAKE MY TRIP PEOPLE REGARDING THIS.

                                  On June 16, 2008 I purchased an e-ticket from IRCTC.co.in for Rs. 1270. I chose to pay through ABN Amro's net banking facility.
                                  While going through the transaction, after entering my transaction password and clicking on the Submit button, nothing happened. So I clicked again, after which the transaction went through successfully, I was directed back to the IRCTC website and the e-ticket was issued successfully. However, when I later checked my bank statement, I saw that I was billed twice. When I complained to ABN Amro Bank, I was told that I should contact IRCTC. When I contacted IRCTC, they said that they had billed me for one ticket which was issued successfully. I again contacted ABN Amro bank, and they promised to call me back but I never heard from them. Despite repeated calls, there is no revert from them.
                                  Personally, I know that the issue is at ABN Amro Bank's end as their website is faulty and that must have caused the double billing issue.
                                  Now I dont know what to do, where to go and who to speak to. All I know is that one of ABN Amro Bank or IRCTC has cheated me of Rs. 1270.

                                    I lost my ATM and I contacted customer support for a new one. I received my ATM within a weeeks time but even after a month my pin is yet to come. I contact customer care thrice and they gave me three service request numbers but none of them took pains to deliver my pin. Today I again contacted them and their excuse was that my address is wrong, it is the same address on which my ATM was delivered.

                                    I am just lock out of my account (dont have a check book to with draw) and I have to borrow money from my friends to fulfil my daily needs. None of the bank members take a pain to resolve my concern.

                                      In my recent statement they have debited following amount without my Authorization which is totally Illegal and knowingly you are trying to Harass the customers, details are as mentioned below:

                                      Statement for date 08.07.08 to 07.08.08;
                                      Rs. 4500 on 04.08.08 as WIY Fee &
                                      Rs. 556 on 07.08.08 as Service Tax

                                      Request you to revert back these amount and sent me fresh statement.

                                        Hi,

                                        This is regarding a credit card i had from ABN AMRO Bank, due to some unavoidable situation i couldn't make few payments to this bank against my credit card.

                                        However when i was contacted by the collection department of the bank I made full payment at one go for the settlement amount asked by the bank, than Bank had issued a Settlement Letter, according to bank letter, I have made all the payment by cleared cheque.

                                        but still after 3 year bank has informed me that your settlement letter is not valid and has enforced to make all payment again and bank by way of advocate and other person to force make the payment and bank also agree to all the cheque is clear even though ABN AMRO has not removed my name from the Satyam Defaulter List.

                                        So, I request to you please go through the matter and solved my problem as earliest.

                                        ABN AMRO Bank — NON SETTLEMENT OF CREDIT CARD NO 5425051701358086

                                        Sir, I was holding the mentioned Gold Credit Card (no [protected]) of ABN AMRO Bank. I have not used the said card since Aug 07 for new purchases. Therefore, in around Oct 2007 I informed the persons calling from their call centre and asked them to direct me to proper person/channel so that I can sort out the matter.
                                        Firstly, I talked to Ms.Tanya from Mumbai regarding the same, she informed me to make the payment of Rs. 2000/- as my account can be settled for 22000/-, total outstanding being 34000/-and by next week I would be contacted by any of the Bank’s representatives for the settlement. Almost two months expired and the matter was not solved. Likewise, every time a new person use to call me and the same story got repeated. Meanwhile, I made the payment of almost Rs. 10000/-. Ultimately, I decide not to make payment until the matter is solved.
                                        Then I got in touch with Mr. Ritesh (on phone) in Feb 08, who after few talks confirmed if I make the last payment of Rs. 2030/-, will be sent a settlement letter from Delhi and he has got the approval for the same. He also confirmed the amount of Rs. 22000/-. Accordingly I again made the payment of Rs.2030/- on 15Feb, 08.
                                        As I did not receive any correspondence for a week, I tried to contact Mr. Ritesh on nos. 30827896/30826369. I was told that he is on leave and the lady attending the phone did not know the matter. I kept on trying for more than a month to contact him, and then suddenly I was informed that Mr. Ritesh has left the job and nobody knows the matter.
                                        I, then made a official complaint to the bank thru Mail on 17th Apr, 08. In response to my above mail I received a phone call from Mr. Pravin Kumar (tele No.[protected] -Noida), on 19th Apr, 08 who after a discussion confirmed the settlement amount of 22000/-. Out of this he asked me to pay 4000/- immediately and balance in three equal monthly installments after receiving the settlement letter from ABN AMRO bank. Accordingly I made the payment of Rs. 4000/- by cheque Almost eight months expired I did not receive any letter. Few more persons kept on calling me at regular intervals not knowing about the matter.
                                        Again on 21st Nov 2008 someone called Ms Ritika called me from Delhi, I explained the matter to her. She asked me to talk to Mr Tnavir Ahmed from Legal Dept. After a detail discussion with both of them I agreed to pay the final amount of 12000/- in full and final settlement.
                                        As discussed with Ms Ritika and Mr. Tanvir Ahmed (Legal Dept.) over telephone (No.[protected] I paid the final amount of Rs 12000/- (Twelve Thousand only) by cash. I deposited the amount in Nariman Point (Sakhar Bhavan) Branch, Mumbai on 25th Nov.
                                        I was informed that in next two-three days a letter confirming the final settlement will be sent to me, so far I have not received it. When today I tried to contact Ms Ritika on the above tele no from my cell phone she disconnected my call thrice and then did not attend at all. Almost 10 days have expired but I have not received any letter. Following is the details of payments made by me.

                                        ABN-AMRO credit card — CARD SETTLEMENT

                                        I agree that these people do lately but finally have you got the settlement letter or not from abn amro bank
                                        We have take the credit card in year 2005 from ABN amro bank & we have issue the one health policy by credit card for Rs.8800/-

                                        Time to time(approx 11000/-) we have pay the amount angst policy for Rs.8800/-but bank show the outstanding on my name

                                        Pl look into the matter & suggest how to clear the outstanding on my name
