I wanted to change from prepaid to post paid in aircel. Once the form was filled and money collected, there was no shift of my connection from pre paid to post paid. I called many times and each person in the customer care is passing the buck. It is frustrating and ridiculous. Such a poor mamangement of a big company!. Dont know what kind of work ethics these people have. It is 4 days now and everyday without the slightest of remorse, these people say that it will be done in the next few hours. Shame on them
I took a new aircel connection a month ago especially to speaK to my fiancee, after 15 days i faced a very strange problem , i could NOT call to my fiance number only , to other service providers & other aircel numberS i was able to call them , when i lodged a complaint at customer care they took 30hrs to rectify it , but when i asked what the problem was they couldnt explain things to me , even now i am facing the same problem ,whenever i try their customer care number i never get line , no one responds, the line keeps on ringing , ONE OF THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.
aircell thrills setting is not available for nok 5320 pls take note of it and make corrections..
just now my aircel sim care has suddenly block..it showing that your sim card registration failed...
plz do somthing..my no is [protected]
i wont more detail about aircel in m.p
i also have aircell sim i m facing lots of network problm nd if any body make call on my cell they got message i m out of reach please solve my problm

    Dear Sir,

    I Rajesh Shaw Aircell mobile user having phone no.[protected] got a call from you to start callertune on dated 19/05/2009.At that time i told the caller from aircell that i am not interested about caller tune but he started caller tune without my permission.When i call to customer center to stop the caller tune but he said to stopping the callertune you have to pay for that. My question is that when i didnot allow for caller tune why he started and why should i pay to stop the callertune.

    The activated caller tune was so boaring that i chang the caller tune but this time the quality of my callertune is very very low quality.
    The company is not bothering about customer care not the Quality performance.

        I`m trying to contact customer for a long time.

        No response.

        Then what is the need of Customer care no.
        I purchase aircel sim at SHRI KANNAN DEPARTMENTAL STORE
        on 18/09/08(thursday)[neeyum nanum pack] it will not activate so please immeditly activate this number...

        Customer Care Associate

        1. They will not care about customer's urgency or situation they are very
        irresponsible.
        2. If they dont know the answer they will put you waiting and disconnect the call after some mins.
        3. TL are less trained they dont know english. Worst than associate.
        4.They dont know english but they will start talk english then it will be tamilish.
        5.If you call continously differenct assoiciates will give different solutions for the same
        problem. One will say will take one day. One will say can be done in four hours. and one
        will say if have any relation with Aircel it can be done imm.TL will say two days.
        6. they will always give another number put the customer in rounding if you dont know
        the answer or dont want to do that.
        1.Aircel neeyum naanum pack why u will did not start two sim between free sms
        2.I connect the gprs and any persion cal my aircel no tel not reechable.U can chang this plz.Its one of the disadvandage

          This is to inform that my mom mobile number [protected] has caller tune activated without her concern. She is 80yrs old lady and it is very much understood that she will not be able to activate these services on her own.
          I have spoken to the customer care that is not willing to accept that this was activated forcefully. Pls get this deactivated and refund the rental charges else I will be forced to leave the connection. Also stop all promotional calls to the above-mentioned number.

          I am a Aircel prepaid customer my number is [protected] on my number Dialer tune is activated without any information and charges for 10 days are deducted from my prepaid account balance and on calling to the customer care my call is put on hold and disconnected 3 times.I want to know that how gave them right to activate DT on my number without my permission.
          You might have attended to any promotional calls or messages unknowingly which has resulted in the activation. In future you can avoid such instances by getting your DND Service activated . Good luck.

          ya. me too agree with that... AIRCEL is worst in VAS. I'd lost Rs. 30 for callertune. but I didn't activate it. they told we are activated with ur permission on some date and bla bla bla. But at the time my mobile was in switch off.
          But the other services are GOOD especially Packet Internet as compare to otheer network...

            I requested for GPRS by sending SMS to Aircel. But they send the service is alredy activated. When I called customer care they asked me to go to aircell cell city(Customer care centres)for maniula setings. But cell city in tirupur are bill collection centres and they dont know technical details. Cell city people redirected me to Customer care. I have called morethan 70 times the customer care in the span of 90 days, each time different person are picking up and misleading me. Still it is not activated for me.

            i have the motorola ZN200 from 5 months.i mean the cell is too slow and hangs frequently.the slider is very bad and loose .because of this there are scratches on all the chrome around.the bluetooth a2dp doesnt even work properly with the cells with a2dp also.the transfers takes so much time, one can sleep for a moment.and spending this much money for the name, i didnt expected this from motorola.very disappointed

            Vodafone Prepaid — initialization of unwanted schemes

            Dear Sir/Madam

            I am a student and have vodaone prepaid. Since last 2 months automatic subscriptions have been made by vodafone to my number due to which each time my balance is reduced to negative.

            In March: Rs.36 were deducted
            In April: Rs. 49 are deducted.

            I lodged two complaints in the customer care center from phone where i was give two complaint numbers at each time of complaint.
            Still my complaint was unadressed. Then finally i made a written complaint in the prescribed form to vodafone. But still no body took any steps to even look into the matter.

            Due to lack of time i ignored the matter as my exams are going on. But today again this has happened.

            So my faith on Vodafone has been strongly shaken that in this company there is no say for any prepaid customer.

            So i kindly request you to look into the matter and credit my precious balance as soon as possible as today my balance is negative and i am neither able to make any call nor i am able to send any messages from my SMS Card.

            It is also requested to please look into the complaints from your record which i had made one month back so that i also have a proof of the same which will help me to carry any further proceedings.

            I will wait for just 48 hours after which i will move to the consumer forum and make the company liable for all the inconveniences caused to me.

            Aircel — GPRS - reg.

            I'm using aircel postpaid. Since aircel introduced unlimited gprs service, I thought to try in prepaid. I bought a new prepaid sim and activated gprs. Then I received an sms that the service will be activated within 48 hours. But it took 6 days to activate, only after regular complaints. Then I tried connecting the mobile with PC. But no use. I called gprs cust care but no proper response. After a week's time, one person from gprs cust care told that my phone will not support the service. I use nokia 3120c. I can use the service with Airtel and vodafone. Poor response from cust care. Aircel should concentrate on customer care to deal with the customers in a smooth and quick manner. Or else the company may loose its customers very soon.

            Aircel probably has the worst customer care ever.I was able to get thru only if i opted for new connection and the reaction was amazing. They are also not aware of how to solve ur problems. Its a Doityourself situation now. I have succeeded in finally setting up everything right for both phone browsing aswell as using the net on computer via bluetooth. The settings never came thru the promised sms!!!

            After being heard advt of aircel to take unlimited net on rs. 98 only, i purchased a sim for net purpose from kamla nagar, agra aircel office. I requested for GPRS by sending SMS to Aircel. and i saved all the settings. When I went to the same aircel office they misguided me and told me that we have added your complaint.             sir this is varun, and the issue of complaint is:

            1. Aircell automatically activate a Dialer tone on my mobile on 22nd of Jan. without awaring me about this and deduct a rs. 30/- balance from my account.
            when i complaint about this to the customer care exective they put my complaint in process and said it can b activated by your confirmation and all.
            2. i call them on 121 alot of times, but they cant solve my query then i said ok u can activate it when i confirm then the tone is not ringing on my mobile.i put a complaint against it which is still under process today is 11th of feburary..how mch time it take to process..n their CCE think we are fool, sometimes they disconnect, nver give me the correct information.

            plz. take neccessary actions against them.

            it is not the matter of little price..but it is the matter about company repo,hw they treat theri customers..

                Hi,
                I have applied for a post paid connection on 18th of August and my line was activated on 19th of August. Today by 2.00 P.M my line got disconnected. It’s been almost a week after the number was activated and now suddenly disconnected and when I called up the customer care, I was told that the company was not able to verify my address so it had been disconnected.

                I have been getting all my communications without fail and It is not difficult to find my residence.

                I don’t understand your system, you have activated the line even without doing any verification and now after a week after me giving all my contacts my new number and you simply disconnect without any intimation.

                I am in the field of business development and every call is important to me and this what you have done to me is causing too much o[censored]ncomfort to me and my profession. I need a solid reason for the act and I am taking this to human rights a legal proceedings if your response is unsatisfactory. My mobile number which was given to me was[protected]. I am going back to use my old Vodafone number.

                I think I did a big mistake in believing your executive who convinced and sold me the card.

                    Aircel Prepaid — Connection dis continued & harrasment

                    I took a aircell mobile pre paid connection from Tirupati Communication, Jessore Road, Nager Bazar in my wife's name. Phone got connected but got disrrupted few days after on the ground that papers are not up to date. Again submitted address proof but two months have passed connection is yet to be revived after a clear balance of Rs100/- or so. We are everyday visiting the dealer making phone calls but to no avail. Aircelll that way is not a very good option and I suggest to all to keep this in mind.

                          Sir,

                          I have paid for prepaid to postpaid conversion for my wife on 1st July, 2008 to Lakshmi Enterprises, Coimbatore. They are one of the Agent for Aircel Limited in Coimbatore.

                          Till today the connection has not activated. When I ask for the status, everyday they are telling the same reason that, it is in some others name and they are solving it and it will get it done in the next day.

                          I am in a very critical position and not even a single call from them about the status till today.

                          This creates a very very bad name to Aircel. I don't know how many customers are suffering like this with these people.

                          Kindly let me know how to proceed.

                          aircel post-paid connection — number transferred to someone else

                          i purchased an aircel number [protected]. it was on my name. now that number is being used by someone else . i have the bills with me . i called on that number the ring goes and once that person took my call and he told me that he purchased a new sim for that number from the company aircel. i was shocked to hear that. i request them to issue me my number back at the earliest.

                              AIRCEL is providing very worst service. WIthout knowing this I have taken 2 postpaid connection. Network coverage is very poor in and around Thuraipakkam (near my office). and I used to pay aircel bill online through airce.com but now AIRCEL has changed its website functionalities as well recently.

                              No propers FAQs or instructions are there to help the users. Even dont know how to get the postpaid bill through onliine. AIRCEL in brief VERY POOR IN ALL THE SERVICES

                                Sub.: Cheating by Mobile Service Provider Aircel.

                                I like to draw your kind attention to the following few lines elaborating the cheating/malpractice by the Mobile Service Provider Aircel.

                                Sir, as you might know that Aircel used to advertise that its customers can avail unlimited local free talk time to any mobile within the State if he use the rate cutters and due to this lucrative offer I took the connection on 10.05.2008 from Shilpa Store at Bally and submitted all required document and photographs at that time. Before taking the connection I talked with their customer care and was assured that they would not immediately stop the offer as they are new in Kolkata and their motto is to capture the huge market. I was told to use the rate cutter after 24 hrs but due to the congestion in their line I was able to use the same on 13.05.08 morning. Thereafter I came to know the actual intension of the company. All calls were rejected due to congestion in the routes. For making a call I had to waste 15 to 20 minutes. That too I did not get the connection of any Vodafone or Airtel number. Then it started that all the calls are disconnected within a minute or two. I made several complain to their customer care but no fruitful action was taken nor the situation improved. Owing to the situation I tried to contact their Kolkata Nodal Officer who was nominated to handle the grievances if it is not properly handled by the customer care. But to my great surprise I found that the email address of the Kolkata Nodal Officer as well as the Appellate Authority/Kolkata mentioned at the Aircel website are wrong and they are also not picking up their phone. After fifteen days from my taking the connection, Aircel suddenly stopped the unlimited local call offer without intimating the consumers nor even advertising in any widely sold daily news paper or media, not only for new connection but also for the existing customers. But their website was still then showing the offer valid. The few consumers who had taken their connection just after launching the scheme were allowed unlimited free calls for the 1st month and offered 200 min extra bonus local talk time with a validity of 10 days but of no use as almost all the time routes are having congestion.

                                Now on 17.06.2008, Aircel suddenly disconnected my line without any prior intimation and reasons thereon. On enquiry at their customer care on 17.06.2008 @ 8.30 pm I was answered that on verification it was found that I did not submit the valid required documents and so my line was disconnected. Sir, during the last one month no one from the Aircel did call me for verification. On request, my complain was registered at their end vide no. MARK 332022 by their customer care official Mr Tarak Prasad Dutta and I was asked to submit the documents again at their office. Sir, later on it is gathered from Shilpa Store at Bally, from where I took the connection, that the documents were received by the Aircel vide the CAP No. 0122186. I then talk with the Ma Tara Trader, the Aircel distributor of Howarh District and came to know that the line has been disconnected as the form was not filled up properly but not due to non receipt of documents. Then I called Aircel Marketing Manager/Howrah at no. [protected] but he did not pick up the phone. Then I called to the Sr Marketing Manager/Howrah at no. [protected] @ 11.30 am and communicated the incidence and my grievance but till now @ 00.24 am dt. 19.06.2008 the line is yet to be activated.

                                Sir, I know my line would be activated after 2 to 3 days from now as Aircel does not like that I use the extended 200 min local free talk time which is valid till 22.06.2008. It is the intension of the company that they will collect money from their consumers, offering lucrative schemes, but they will not allow the consumers to avail the same.

                                In view of the above I would like to request your good offices to kindly look into the matter and to take appropriate steps so that the company like Aircel may not further cheat the common people like us in future.

                                I took the Aircel connection on 26/06/09 from a retail outlet near North rlwy stn Ernakulam.My sim got activated soon.On 28/06/09 I made a missed call to an ISD no: the call was not connected at all but they charged 9.19Rs. On that day itself I called customer care and asked to refund. One executive told am requesting to waive your amount. He asked for an alternate no: I gave my BSNL no. After that i was busy for 3, 4 days, didnt get time to contact customer care. So today i called them and enquired about the status of the complaint. The executives hardly knew anything but at the same time arrogant too. Whenever i ask about the complaint they say we will transfer our call to senior executive but actually they are transferring the call to dead phone. After three four mins ring the call will be disconnected! I have an Airtel and BSNL sim, but never had worse exp like this...I dont what is the use of executives there...

                                  This is Kaushik from Calcutta. I bought a prepaid Aircel sim card bearing number [protected] for my aged mother as she loves to talk to her relatives over phone and charged it with Rs.149 + Rs.246 for a monthlong unlimited free local calls as they have boldly advertised for and it was pretty lucrative an offer. But, I think I have been cheated as till now only 10 to 12 calls could have been made and even those were made after unlimited trials and not a single call lasted for more than 2 minutes as being automatically disconnected. And another funny thing is that although I recharged it for unlimited free local calls but in the very beginning whenever my mother tried to make calls, the automated voice was always advising to refill the account with enough balance as it contains nothing at all although it was not necessary to do it because it was meant for free local calls and even unlimited. Despite that silly advise, I topped up the account with Rs.25 so that my mother could make uninterrupted calls. But in vain; nothing changed the same version continued for some days and after that started another problem.. which now says that the line I have called is temporarily congested and this temporary thing is continuing since 17th May 2009 and even if a call can be made after seamless tiring effort, that would not last beyond 2 minutes even. And everytime I have called the customer care, Re.1 has been deducted from that topped up account and from Rs.25 it has gone down to Rs.17. Luckily I could make two complaints from my phone and another one from my sellers number and they promised to resolve the problem pretty soon and funny thing is that after a long wait, I called the customer care again recently and they fell from the sky when I told that I have lodged complaints earlier because they don't know anything about such complaints from my side and sent me an SMS containing this very number BILL789018 promising to addressed shortly. I think I have been cheated and several such customers are suffering such nasty service and living in a dilemma. Amusingly the customer care not at all cares for the paying customers who paid money to buy such nasty service and hopes the customers will bear with them and pay again Rs.246 for another month's fake unlimited local calls. This company has failed to keep its promise as it has done in its advertisements. Now I repent why I bought this worthless service and pondering on whether I should go to Consumer Court or not!! Please Suggest and Guide.. Thanking you in anticipation.

                                    Being the customer of AIRCEL. I would like to bring to your notice that AIRCEL has introduced a scheme of Rs.248/- life time offer with unlimited talk to any telephone with the recharge voucher of Rs.246/- per month. I am the victim of the being AIRCEL customer with paying Rs.520/- . I could not use the SIM no...76047 issued in this month because they do not have network in West Bengal, all the time reply as the line is congested and the in spite of having contact at Kolkata customer center, they reply soon we will recover the network.
                                    Being one of the customer of AIRCEL, I felt cheated and numerous are also suffering with the similar service problem. Now my appeal is whether we can get the extension of valididity voucher of Rs. 248/- for one stipulated for 30 days or they will simply say wait and watch for long time to avoid the customer's grievances or by disconnecting line/ putting the customer care number switched off.
                                    Please do needful and give immediate notice to protect the interest of millions customers attracted to the media hype of AICEL.

                                      if sometimes by chance i could make a call then after some minutes the call is being ended for some unknown reason.
                                      I have made several calls to the customer care but they don't have the update on this network failure. For last few weeks they have been saying that this problem will be handled soon. But that most expected time has not come yet. Many o[censored]s taken the facility of calling any local networks in Rs 246 power recharge option. But after spending half month with this hell of a damm network i could only make some few calls. We have been cheated very badly by this company. The government need to take immediate action against this company in this regard.

                                        I took the connection on the launch date (6TH May, 2008) and my unlimited power voucher got activated on 9TH May, 2008 morning. Since then I chatted with my Fiancee over her Tata-walkie no for at least 31 hrs so far. I'm fortunate that the connection towards tata nos were smooth and my fiancee's family members were having tata connections. I already recovered my money from Aircel and I've the unlimited talk offer in my mobile till 9TH June, 2008.

                                        Previously I observed that my that my call is getting disconncted after every 15 mins.

                                        On 21ST May, 2008, I observed that my call is getting disconncted after every 4 mins and I registered a complaint and the customer care executive promised me to solve this problem at the earliest.

                                        To my surprize, from yesterday( 22ND May, 2008) I observed that my call is getting disconncted after every 2 mins.

                                        The customer care executives are washing their hands simply by telling that their network support team is looking into the matter and the problem will be solved very soon.


                                        I don't know wheather this is a business policy of Aircel. I'm a high end user of mobile phone and I promptly took the benefit of Rs. 246 unlimited local call power voucher and made good use of it by making long duration calls and I've already talked for 31 hrs and my investment towards taking this connection is more than compensated.

                                        Aircel is now planning to withdraw this offer without even informing their valued customer. But on 6TH May, 2008, they had published a FULL PAGE AD in the newspapers just to make people FOOL.

                                        The bottomline: If you are a high end user of mobile phone, don't take this connection in a hurry. They won't be able to do business in Kolkata unless & untill they have proper infrastructure and offer something new and attractive to the customers. Just wait & watch.
                                        Pls you give customer binefite with @ 246 voture tui unlimited talking aircel to aircel.
                                        because all company has given this police in bihar & jharkhan.
