Aircel — solution for gprs

Aircel gprs can also be used in pc... Just u should have Nokia handset with inbuilt modem...
there is always a problem of network in my area, due to that my pocket internet also dont works in my area. and if i try to call customer care they atleast take 8-10 mins to connect the call. n sometimes they connect to the person who know only one language n he tell to call after sometime to talk with another person. very bad service by aircel. pooor network too!
aircel GPRS is very bad, , coz i cannot acess my internet in my laptop, , its always says subscribe to packet data first...plz give me some solution..
I have use HTCP3400i and I have aircel customer.My mobile phone is GPRS support.But aircel gprs is not support of my phone.Please solve this problem.

    i am karan from jammu i am using aircel perpaid i have problem with live tv on my cell when i am streaming live tv on my mobile after 10 mintue it error msg connection time out...i have already stream live tv in my mom cell which has airtel mobile office...plzzz sir give me procedure and solve my problem...

      But, for a quicker update, you should visit the nearest Aircel store in your area and ask the seniors to have a network check for your area.
      I am a customer of Aircel prepaid card. Since Oct 01, 2009, signals are not there & out going calls are possible, even in hyd city (Balanagar area) signals are not there. Why cant you improve the net work systems?>
      My no is [protected], handset is Micromax dual sim.
      Kindly organize improve my net work syste.

      Dear Sir,
      I have prepaid Aircel connection. Aircel signal was feeded by Tatadocomo for village – Tengrari, Minapur, 30 Km West direction from Muzaffarpur district in Bihar, and without reason tatadocomo tower has been switched off from 21 Dec 2012.
      Aircel provided the signal by any means, that’s by the village people have taken faith and adopted the Aircel. No reason at the time of NEW YEAR celebration the signal has been stopped and not taken alternative action by increasing the surrounding area tower power output. I think village area has been started ignoring by Aircel. Aircel has not notified this in advance for this, through SMS or local newspaper. Due to non availability of aircel signal the users of this locality could not contact their business and friends.
      I, on behalf of the village people, All we have prepaid connection and has got some valuable balance with each prepaid SIM . AS per telecom rule it is not exchangeable or gifted item for anyone.
      It is requested that the alternative action to be taken to restore the services in this area to make us to use AIRCEL. My Aircel mobile no. [protected] and alternate no is [protected].

      Myself srinivas using aircel no.[protected] since 4 years, recently I went to visakhapatnam from hyderabad on 1st of feb-2014.On that day the signal is there up to 9.30pm at Duvvada rly stn, visakhapatnam.After 10.00pm same day the signal is not there and signal strengthh area showing SOS in red color.I tried from 1st to 4th but no signals were found in Gauwaka and whole vizag city.When i come back hyderabd on 5th the signal is there in Hyderabad city.

      I live in Konena Agrahara, very closer to the Old Airport, Bangalore. A few months back was able to make calls and browse. But for last ttwo months not able make calls or receive calls also. surprised to see that there is no aircel net work in Old Airport area Bangalore. I informed to the network department of Aircel but no steps have been taken from the concerned. This gives me the irresponsible of Aircel

      This is Iqbal from vizag, i am customer of aircel since 2012 and my phone number was [protected], after aircel blackout in 2013 i lost the number like wise my business contacts since porting was also not available and the network took out the service without any previous info, not only me but many customers faced the problem, some hows that is over now and after aircel coming back in service in 2014, inspite of facing previous problem i opted for the network again with number [protected] in GUNTUR unknowing the fact that the service is still not available in VIZAG, but when i visited my home in VSKP i phone signal went off after reaching duvvada railway station. To my astonishment i was shocked... Please renew the services in VIZAG too.I can understand that the financial problems are there in reviving to service, but please take measures to revive it as soon as possible...

        Aircel - i dont know why the are running company... very very poor network in Hyderabad, poor customer services i have ever seen.
        really aircel service is very poor
        your network coverage still very weak in delhi special in small localities. your customer services also in very bad condition.so i requested to solve the problem as soon as possible.

        Network is very poor in Hyderabad. Please do the needful asap.
        Zero signal in Gachibowli (The prime IT hub area) what is Aircel doing ?? I just bought it yesterday, but I don't think I am going to keep it for long unless they do some miracle in improving their network..

          Dear Sir,

          I took Aircel connection to just surfing internet and i recharged with Rs 98 for internet use. i requested to customer care many times then i got manual setting on my mobile then i am able to use internet on my mobile. but i also requested to customer care person that please let me know how make connection or setting on my laptop to use internet, he said you'll get call from Aircel but no body is getting me back regarding the same.
          Please help what to do?

          To get connect laptop/pc using Pocket internet create a new connection using network connection in control panel with dial no. *99***1# with leaving username and password blank. Thats all connect you phone with computer and click connect with diale'r and t will get connected
          aircel internet does not work on the laptop or a desktop ... its only for the purpose of cell phone ...surfing and don't try and its waste of time...its clearly mentioned pocket internet where is the doubt...
          i use aircel internet on my pc using 98 pocket i card. its work fine. ya speed is slow but at night i get speed of 150kbps and even more
          Aircel pocket internet works on PC / Laptop too, one need to configure it correctly, else end up with complaints like this.

          i mfrm orissa.same thing here.there is a prob with aircel gprs.i m not able to connect it to the laptop.customer care executives r useless.they r just company'spuppet to hoodwink people.50 calls to ccare and all the r reapeting the same thing .the prob is purely technical.for some people the activation may be happening quickly but many r being harrased and i m one of them

          but for the information the net is too slow it gives 1 or 2 kbps speed on pc in bihar

          I have a aircel prepaid connection no. [protected]. I have 98 unlimited internet scheme activated on it. But I have a problem regarding its internet speed. The speed is too slow, i.e. even I can't check my mail ID. It's take too much time to open any web page. But mostly i get a pager error message. I changed my handset too, but still i have a problem. The changed handsets are 7610 (Nokia), N72 (Nokia), Sony Ericsson K310 and now i am using Nokia N72. I'm frustrated to this slow speed.

          i have taken sim of aircel on 2nd march 2010. i have make a call on my previos number (which sim is out of my mobile). aircel has cut money from my balance only for dialing. then i have made to call centre, but they misbehaved with me and they didn't accept this technical fault.

          You should have a pc suite for your mobile. Install it . And after that go to the internet options(tab) and set up a internet connection . During setup in the AP(Access Point ) type "aircelgprs" and leave username and password blank . And finish it . now connect to the internet using that connection. connect mobile via USB cable in pc sync mode .any problem contact me

          The concerned party is not deactivating my cell phone despite having given a written complaint and paid pro rata rent for the period till the disconnection.

            my wife aircel no. [protected]. I have charged Rs.200 on 22.10.09. The transaction nos. are TNR.[protected], TNR[protected] AND TNR[protected]. But still the amount is not cridiited to the number. Already I have complaint on this matter and your rep. called us and enquired all details, still the matter is not solved. STILL THE AMOUNT IS NOT CRIDETED TO THE NUMBER. So many years we are using ONLY AIRCEL NET WORK.

            Please look in to the matter and charge the amount Rs. 200/ to no. [protected].

            We can wait another couple of days, if does not happend anything, . it is mean that AIRCEL also fully business oriented not servicing to the people.

            No matter loosing Rs. 200/ for us. But you loose the CUSTOMER CARE some extend.

              Nokia — Non-activation of GPRS

              My mobile no. is [protected] from Sahibganj (JHARKHAND). On 8.4.09 I sent the massage-GPRS E to 53733. Configuration message has been received by me on 9.4.09 which I have successfully saved. But gprs has not been activated up till now. Wheh contacted, customer care personels say that they will send a provisioning message to activate gprs. But I have been able to get nothing but assurance.

              i purchased my bsnl sim before a month. i got my sim recharged with Rs. 230 mobile gprs plan. It worked well for one month. now my validity is over, i went to get my sim recharged with this plan again, but the recharge failed. since 2 days m trying to get this recharge but every time it fails. Not only me, my friends are also facing the same problem. Kindly solve my problem at the earliest. I will be highly obliged if you take action in time and revert my problem soon. Thank you.
              Are you sure your handset is compatible with GPRS? You have to be sure of that, if you think that it is, then you should get assistance from the nearest Aircel store

              hi, im arun from jammu. aircel is simply theeeee worst telecom company. few days back i switch over to aircel for unlimited surfing on laptop using its so called new pocket internet option, but they r cheating peoples there servies doesnt work not even on cell phone. and the worst thing is that there customer cell is worst among all other operators, i call may times the aircel customer cell but they are not able to solve my problem. i used airtel n bsnl they r simply the best. even govt. psu bsnl is far better than aircel...
              Aircel is slow on pc not on mobile phones.

              i have the send msg requesting for that setting... but a error msg like you model doesnot support... i have asked the same to customer care operator too they also doesnot know the answer for it...
              I'm telling this to all the guys who have been using Aircel pocket internet connection. Unlimited browsing per month for just 98. This really sounds great. I really stunned when i hear this plan. And the main advantage we'll get if we use this plan is we can use the third party browsers like opera mini, tea shark, bolt, uc web. So we can connect even wit pc and enjoy the speed. If anybody faces the problem in getting gprs setting from customer care people, all we have to do is maintain our patience. They'll say tat it'll be done in 24 hours. But it never happened. So atleast we wil have to wait for 3 to 4 days. And another one important thing i found out when i browse in this plan is the gprs speed. No one can deny tat Aircel gives tremendous speed for its customers. I'm getting the speed of a kb per ten to thirty seconds. I had been using this gprs service in Airtel, Vodafone. But i never get this much speed lik i get in here. So i called up and asked the gentle customer care people, they said we're offering gprs service at the speed o[censored]pto 40 kbps. I simply laughed and cut the line. My conclusion is if you want to browse at low cost and low speed. You can go ahead.
              Aircel is cheating people in the name of pocket internet. TRAI should punish this service provider for this kind of practice.
              I am using aircel SIm, mobile no. [protected] with a handset NOkia 7210 Supernova. I can access the gprs but can't install Opera Mini and instructed to conatact the service provider. When i called to aircell they were very non co-operative. Also the speed is ridiculously slow. Their service is disgusting. I will never recommend anybody to go for aircel SIM.

              I accept that after few min. the GPRS is disconnect, but this problem is due to the auto bill display after finish of any call in prepaid. same thing I conplain to the CC here at SHILLONG but still my problem is not solved, if any one know that how to stop the auto display of bill then my problem will solved.

              i have nokia 2700classic and i also have a aircel gprs connection pocket internet Rs. 98 but whenever i try to connect to a pc and browse after every 1-2min a service msg stating that my last call cost is 0 paise comes and the net is disconnected and i have to reconnect it again and again and for that i even cannot download as it gets disconnected and download can't be resumed.

              This is strange, why don’t you call them and confirm when was this service activated or you can visit the nearest store and discuss this issue
              I would suggest you to call the customer care and check if you stay in some low network zone as low network will impact your Gprs connectivity. As such they will also suggest you the perfect solution possible.

              i bought an Aircel connection.It was the first connection in gr. noida.I have been using it since with no problems.I recharge it with a Rs.225/- tariff which allows free calling to Aircel connection.Recently this problem started that at 11 o' clock and after i cannot call any Aircel no. till morning.

Aircel Customre care department send me the setting of pocketinternet i.e. GPRS setting and as per the information provieded to me by the customer care department I done all the things. but I can't able to use the pocketinternet service. I make my first call 11 Jan - 11 on customer care they give me 72 hour time period they told me in this period my problem 100% solve and we make a call on your number and give you reason why this error generate. But nobody calls me nor is my problem solved. Again after 24 hour I make a call on your customer care and telling my problem regarding GPRS/internet on my mobile. they give me 24 hour time period they told me in this period my problem 200% solve also they send a complain no via msg. but I am not receive any msg. in 15 day I make call on your customer care nu. 18 to 20 time, but I lost my 14 days period of validity and on Sunday 23rd Jan-11 I lost my personal balance on my mobile of Rs. 22. Without any information.

              Last 14 days many time my call disconnecting by your customer care executive’s.

              I want Reply of why these kind of problems with me and why not reply me any information.

              Why anyone not forwarded my complaint and why anyone give me any complaint number.

I purchased it on 17th may from karawal Nagar shop and I have been using this no. since then but on 23rd june, my no. has been barred. on query, your customer care executive replied that your ID is not submitted. Then I submitted again my ID proof but I got no response from your side still now. Please take prompt action on this matter, so that I'll get started my no.                   I was using RIM GSM no: [protected], but when I am fed up with RIM worst customer care and auto deductions from my balance then I thought of making another BIG mistake of chosing Aircel, my number portability was done on 19th of Nov 2011 and on 17th Dec my outgoing is barred. When I make calls to any number or even toll free 198 no: the ivr says "your telepone charge is overdue please renew it" when when I try calling 121, the call gets connected and when the agent talks to me, they charge 50p per 3 mins... the agent said this is the problem with every customer who got migrated from other network to Aircel and this will be resolved in 6 hours and after 7 hours when i called up 121, during the explanation of this issue, the agent dropped the call.. since then I am trying to reach c/care but unable to reach.. WORST SERVICE by Aircel.

                        I have lost my cell yesterday and thats why I had to block my sim and when I call customer care of air cell
                        and ask them whether i can collect my duplicate sim or not by submit my college identity card they provide me the information that i can collect it.
                        but when i go to the air cell store of e-mall at chandni chawk at kolkata, West-Bengal. they told me that They cant give me the sim customer care provide me the wrong information.
                        they told me that as compensation they provide me the sim card but i have to submit the documents within next 12 working hr then i submit it but then they harass me and told me that they can provide me the sim card with out connection and when I offence them they mis behave with me and told me that ' get out from here' they are Mr. Joydeep Palit and Shobha Yadav.
                        Now i come to consumer fouram for justice.
                        They maximum time did this kind of job I also face it
                        first they provide the wrong information
                        then they harras you
                        at last when you protest it they misbehave with you
                        this is there common behavour

                          Dear Sir/Madam,
                          I am using aircel postpaid connection (Mobile NO--[protected]) using tariff plan-50 having 98 rental per month for unlimited GRPS use.
                          I paid my previous bill of 105.00 on 15-june-2009 (due date was 17-june-2009)
                          I received a message from aircel that my credit limit has been exceeded for the current billing cycle.
                          As per plan my credit limit in 750 rupees
                          but when i checked my unbilled amount from 1212 (toll free service), i came to know that my unbilled amount is 6416.80 rupees
                          When i enquired about this on 121(toll free service), one of the executive told me that my bill is 199 rupees
                          But just after 15 minutes i got a call form your another executive that today is last day to pay my outstanding amount of
                          6416.80 rupees.
                          Now my major issue is if my credit limit is 750 rupees then why didn't aircel informed me that my limit has exceeded
                          Moreover i didn’t use the same number that much.
                          Aircel Executive told me that i used the same in roaming or through wrong URL,
                          If the matter is related to wrong URL, , then they should send the detailed bill with my internet usage details
                          and If the matter is related to roaming then i was never informed before that i will be get charged for GPRS usage during roaming.
                          Even till now i didn’t received any detailed bill, stating my usage in roamimg.

                            I purched a Aircel connection on 19 Jun 2009. Form the very bigening day I kept on trying for outcall. On 21 June my phone was activated. After I requested more then 50 times to cusatomer care for GPRS settings. But till now I have not recieved the settings. When ever the customer care is called it takes 57 to 80 minutes for them to take my call. Is this the service is provided by aircel in India. I hope the concerned authorities will take care of this ASAP.

                            I took meclaim policy (health care policy) from Tata aig general insurance by hsbc credit card on 16th june2008.I was hospitalised in nov.2008 I claimed for hospital bill.from that I constantly followed upfor claim.whenever I tried customercare no. [protected]/9966. executive requested me to wait for call back from consern person. till the date concern person have no time to make a call. and If we inquired for the same the replied us stardend answer that calle executive but you were not available
                            do something so that for claim procedure can be easiar & smoothly
                            The settings are pretty simple, but all you have to make sure of is that your handset is compatible with the settings. Also, one has to save the GPRS settings on their phone. If it still does not work, just drop by to their Aircel centre… its easier!
                            i am not getting aircel internet pocket service very efficently. I am getting a problem with network down.
                            when i start the internet browser there occur error named CANNOT RESOLVE HOSTNAME.when i tried to connect to customer care there is no response from that side. It wastes my whole day(11.7.09(from 11am to till I am submitting this message)).it wastes my recharge card which is valid only for three days.so, i want say just solve my problem quickly .otherwise it creates a bad impression of company to the users

                            Are you sure, the problem is not with your hand set. Try checking it with some other sim connection. Also get in touch with the Customer care, they can help you with this.
                            I am a Linux enthusiast and bought the pocket internet top-up, just to browse tldp.org (My favourite site, so that I can read online tutorials on webpages not PDF's).

                            I took the aircel internet pocket service rs 14/- recharge valid for 3 days, 250 MB download and unlimited browsing.

                            On the day i recharged this, it worked fine till night, sharp at 12am, while I was browsing the internet, I started receiving the error CANNOT RESOLVE HOSTNAME.

                            I didn't even downloaded a single file, just surfing, that too for 2 hrs in the day (As I had to go to the college), and at night I started surfing at 11:30PM, which got disconnected at 12 (total 2and a half hrs of browsing, which was very slow (Cuz GPRS).

                            The aircel customer service is paid ( i get charged for minutes on hold and talking to their representative, who were not able to fix the issue even in 2 hrs). So I have ended up losing money on call and on 'aircel internet pocket service' for the remaining 2 days.

                            To my anxiety I again purchased the 14/- rupees card again to test this and found that after recharge again the internet started working, this time i did not surf the internet all day, and exactly at 11:45pm started browsing and guess wht? ... IT GOT DISCONNECTED AT 12AM (after half an hour of browsing, no downloads at all) and again the same error (CANNOT RESOLVE HOSTNAME).

                            Now that it was clear to me that I checked the genuinity of Aircel, I thank god that I didn't brought any costly internet package from Aircel.

                            Advice: There are some Fraud providers like Aircel, So beware. Before taking any service from any provider please check them with a light package.

                            When buying SIM : 1) Take a prepaid first, this is the best technique. With this you get to know the network coverage in your house/college/office and even in trains and buses/ highways.
                            2) Atleast at start week or two, recharge with less money (10 Rs), that makes monitoring your call charge easy, I FOUND THAT AIRCEL CHEATS THERE TOO. The call duration on my nokia handset was 10 sec and in aircel call summary after I hungup was 1 min 6sec, so they deducted 90 ps (30ps per pulse).

                            3) After checking all this, if and only if you feel genuine, then convert that into postpaid or transfer you existing number to the provider (number portability).

                            4) BEWARE OF PROVIDER'S TELECALLERS FOR CONVERTING PREPAID TO POSTPAID, OR CHANGING THE PLAN TO SAVE MONEY. These people are from outsourced agencies and have targets to meet, they will ask you your personal details like age DOB (never give it first), will tell you that this plan is going to save money and will asked to send an sms to 121 with the plan code, but the code will be of higher monthly subscription (please verify the plan details online first b4 msging).

                            5) Always check value added services like internet etc, through Top-ups and check their genuinty.

                            6) Some providers specially AIRTEL does not disconnect the lines when requested and keep on sending you monthly bills. They will not give you cancellation receipt for that, when asked will send you to the branches far by (So that you put-up cancellation decision). and every month they will have the same dailogue, we will be glad to help you with cancellation but first pay the existing billable amount.

                            7)Better check the customer service experience with the existing customers like your friends, colleges, or family friends, you can even crack a talk in bus or trains, if you find any one using the providers service(nothing to loose, you will gain a friend).

                            Doing all this may sound boring, and tedious but its not. Slowly slowly you will start liking it, as you start getting the fruits of it, and will start applying these checks and R&D in every part of life.

                            All the best, money is not a big thing to lose. But you explored and found the right one is a great satisfaction :) All the best.

                            Aircel connection — Not able to Receive calls

                            I've been complaining time and again to the customer service about the problems i'm facing.
                            Every time i've been given different reasons from being SIM suspended to Technical Glitches.
                            I'm not able to receive calls from RELIANCE and SMSes from BSNL.
                            Please look into the matter or i see my shifting to other operator.
                            This is really irritating to complain time and again.
                            Please revert as quickly as possible.

                              Dear Officer,

                              This is to highlight you that I, Pankaj Parti having a connection holder with your Network vide Aircel no:[protected] and A/c no.[protected], am fed-up with your services and your commitment given to the customers while making them into and involved with the network provider like you.

                              Sometime ago i have received a call from your DSA somewhere at Jhandewalan or Karol Bagh and they told me that Aircel gave me a new postpaid connection totally free of cost against my Airtel postpaid connection vide no [protected], and the plan she told me is Monthly Rental is Zero and if i dont want caller-id than i opt the no without caller-id and CLIP charges also not charged by my side, so as per the executive my no. would be zero rental only the call i made is chargeable to me and i said OK to her and take the above mentioned conection.

                              But now, i was shocked when i saw my first bill in which you have incurred two monthly rentals vide 1) Local Mobile @ 30P-Rental worth INR 85 P.M.
                              2) Rate Cutter-Minutes option- CLI worth INR 50 P.M.
                              total cost 135 for this month plus taxes.

                              I dont who calls you to activate these services on my no even when i dont even use your CLIP facility and why should i activate this 30P service if i dont even calls for once from this no. only one call i made from this no to check whether the service have been activated or not after that the SIM is in my pocket b'coz i have my company provided no which is totally free for me to make outgoing calls, this no i just take for future purposes like when i used to go for roaming b'coz my Airtel no dosent work in roaming, but this is very much surprising for me that how is it happened.

                              After that i used to call your customer care no from my SIM than it is not reachable on 121 and [protected] which i tried a lot even from yesterday night than i call from my another no which is chargeable to me than your customer care executive doesnt give any resolution to my complaint they just want to wrap-up the call and only directed me to go to your Aircel Store which is so rediculous, i think you people just make us fool by doing this because since morning i have tried your no. [protected] and your nodal officer no. [protected] but all the no shows not reachable if you are the most busiest person in this world than why should you take this type of responsibility because every responsibility comes with some accountability and i dont think so that Aircel will do good at this competitive industry.

                              Now, i would not give you any penny from my side against this bill do enquiry from your side and further i want to disconnect this no now with immediate effect advise me what should i do for that i am unable to continue with Aircel from nowonwards.

                                Its a request to NCR region GPRS users. Never go for pocket Internet Service of Aircel. They are totally fraud. Their customer care never talk to us. Always they are busy. They are putting us in dark. Me and my ome friends have taken Aircel GPRS connection one months ago and still it is not activated. Some times their service centre near 14 sector Gurgaon say that sim is not working. They change it ask for more 48 hours. Five times I have changed my sim. Its very bad service by them. My GPRS validity has expired and I haven't use a single KB on net.

                                As their promoter is not playing, in the same way Aircel is not working.

                                I want to alert you not to misguide you. Ret depends upon you.

                                I buy a new aircel sim on 11/6/09 and after 2 days my sim is not activate so i call in aircel appelite and aircel officer(see complaint number in booklet you found 2numbers) and he saying our server is down so please call after 4 hour.
                                After 30 min i call in aircel customer care. (using my idea sim)

                                computer say 'hum aapse baat karne ke leele bahut icchukh hai'
                                and after 15 no any agent pikup the phone. And i lose Rs.30. Next day i lose Rs.80 in customer care. No any support.

                                When i go to my dealer he says aircel reject your application because your photo is scan photo.(but my photo is 100% clear and not a scan photo.( i think aircel sim activation manager is bliend)

                                when i give a new photo(i lose Rs.100 for photo) and plus Rs.60 in CD(1 rewritable and one simple)

                                after 15 days my idea card is expire and also i have no any options because my aircel not activated so i recharge my idea sim at Rs.99 for validity and 100 for talktime.

                                It means i lose Rs199 + 60 = Rs.260 and some more money and time.

                                After 1 month still my aircel card not activated and 3 times reject my indian govt. Approved Voter id card + lisence + home aggrement.

                                He is saying my documment not clear. But my documents is 100% clear and I AM already bought idea and aircel card using this documents.

                                    when i call to NODEL officer he says that we will do serve and when i ask about my sms complaint he says me i have send all the messages then i have been charge...And when i ask about his name he told only rajesh and saying that u can raise any complaiont i[censored] want...we will do serve plz look inti these case...

                                      I have opted for a new connection with AIrcel on16th of April 2009.

                                      I was having problem with Their net work net work connectivity in my area.
                                      After several complaints I have never received any help from Aircel.
                                      To my great annoying Their helpline people were unable to get me any sort of help.
                                      When I telephoned them they kept me on hold and subsequently disconnected the line.

                                      The Aircel branch in charge of the Thane outlet promised me that somebody will come for the verification of the net work issue, which never happened.

                                      All this made me to opt out of the service.

                                      Subsequent this I have submitted my application to disconnect my phone on 06.05.09 at AIRCEL thane office with Ms.Deepika- your customer care attendant.

                                      They promised me that my deposit will be returned with in short time .
                                      But it was surprising to see that I have received a bill for the service I never availed.

                                      When approched the telecom appellete authority the refused the refund citing no refund if disconnected with in six months.

                                      I feel cheated that this company for their lack of providing net work in my area where i can not use the phone try to rip me off.

                                      With regrets and unsatisfied...

I am interested your aircel tawer. one day i coll in the Chandigarh branch reception on duty miss SANJNA MADAM on this no.[protected].youe company is very famous and good company. but your chandigarh branch staff is very bad dealing in the customer. after deposited the money she is not pick up my phone and other staff asking me SANJNA MADAM is leave for one day but i am waiting for one week.she misguide me then please help me i am interesed your company tawer in my plot.what i do please help me on my ph. no.                                       Aircel — charging of bill after disconnection of no.

                                      I was using AIRCEL postpaid no. [protected] which I was disconnected long back. All dues against the no. were cleared but after that also useless company harrising by sending bill on monthly bilss which is wrong.

                                      I bought this matter in front of their vashi store people but they are more dumb that neone can imagine. They promise to reverce the charges but do not make any updation in their record.

                                      Request you to please look into the matter & resolve this issue ASAP please.
                                      This is a very strange situation, I would suggest you to visit the store again if possible and try and speak to the senior guys I am sure they are working on your request, it is by a matter of chance that things are not fixed in time.

My no is [protected]. i am getting very speed of GPRS.Aircel customer care told me that our GPRS speed is 40-50 kbps but this is worng information . the here actual speed of Aircel GPRS is about 1-2 kbps. This is a case of cheating . It is very painful to not only me but also to all the subscribers . The customer care are telling us that it will get well in 7 days. But will they expand their validity. I want some serious step agaist this froad. if this problem will not solve within 7 days than i will go to consumer court.

                                        Sir, you are taking this too seriously, after all GPRS is only a new concept introduced in our country and Aircel is probably taking a little longer to warm up with its efficient services, why don’t u simply approach your nodal officer in your area, since he has more grip over complaints he should be able to resolve yours quickly.

                                        You are very correct.Recently I also bought a Aircel Sim and activated GPRS Rs14.
                                        The speed is very very very poor.Airtel is much better.Worst part is when I called customer care he checked my settings then he said your setting is correct and He cannot do anything for the speed.It will remail the same (POOR).
                                        Hence I disconnected my Aircel GPRS service after that.
                                        Beleive me the rates are just to attract the youngsters.

                                        Yes...It is really very slow...I was using dialy 25/- plan in Airtel (Maharashtra). Speed was very good...Download speed from sites, like songs.pk, was around 30kbps. But for the same site i am getting 1-2kbps in Aircel now...I switched to AIrcel because airtel has stopped 25/- unlimited plan recently.

                                        Yes really aircel is poor in gprs speed. Actually i brought an aircel sim recently. I just gave a mail to customer care and they responded to my mail and they came to my house with their equipment to check the seriousness of the issue. The customer care guy stayed upto 1hour and accepted that speed is really slow i.e., 2kbps. I appreciate for their response. Aircel is trying to improve their network better than a datacard. Well this will take around 25days to work.
                                        Coming to faults unlike other service providers aircel's network can't play youtube videos. And in its own home page yahoo search is not accessable.
                                        in night i am getting a good speed almost in between 7-15 but it gets disconnected in just 1 minute.

                                        Global Packet Radio Service (GPRS) is not regular internet like dialup system available with BSNL. GPRS is for phone browsing, and the computer gets connected through the modem in the cell phone. We should never expect a speedy connection in GPRS.
                                        The connection speed through bluetooth may show to connect at 115 kbps, but the transfer rate will lie within 2 or 3 kbps only. If your main aim is downloading, use download manager softwares, it may be boost the downloading to some extent. But the page downloading cannot be increased, because gprs is shared through towers.

                                        es, even I have taken Aircel GPRS 98/- plan. The speed is pathetic. I have used Airtel before and I also have Vodafone. I feel they are far more better than Aircel. The customer care when called up.. I had to wait for 30 mins to reach him after which he started blaming the website from where I am dowloading. Inspite of telling him that I have been using this download site through other ISP and the download is far better, it seems that the customer care did not have better explanation for it and went on saying the same thing. Finally he was convinced and said that he cant help me. I asked him to take a feedback on the service that is being provided for which he gave me a complaint no.[protected].                                         The aircel speed sucks but then the price they are charging according to the speed is pity decent. Its so cheap and so is their speed

                                        I m using a aircel no [protected] from last two months, and i never got the proper service on gprs, even i complain many times, post a mail, they assure that problem will be solved but no use they even call me many times but no use. I want to say them that dont worry soone or later all ur user will switch to others as soon as nomber portability will come into effect.
                                        I think you will not have to make use of the number portability my friend, why don’t you visit the nearest Aircel store they will solve the issue in no time. You shouldn’t have waited for two months facing this problem.

                                        I purchased an aircel connection ([protected]) for internet,when I contacted custommer care for activation of internet I was told about the speed of 140 kbps and when I connected and checked the speed.It was merely 5 to 10 kbps.I am using this no. in Delhi. The compny should go into this.
                                        Friend I have been using the Aircel GPRS for a while and it gives a very good speed, 40-60 kbps. Why don’t you try to reset your GPRS settings I am sure the speed will improve

                                        Dear Sir/Madam,
                                        I am rechargge Rs.98 for one month GPRS plan on 02.01.2010 but I am using properly only 2-3 days then after GPRS not working on my mobile & PC. Icon for connection showing on PC but page can't displayed during page surfing.
                                        I am registered the complaint in GPRS Dept. they are give the closed date 18.01.10 but at the last my gprs plan date finished still the date problem was not solved by the gprs dept.
                                        I am requsted them for give the one week extra perioed because due to the problem I am not use the GPRS whole the month.
                                        after of end of the month 01.02.2010 I am using GPRS one Hr. that time it work and after closing it from my prepaid account 61 Rs. deducted.
                                        I am request you pl. refund my 61 rs. as the whole month of january due to the internet Peoblem I can't use the internet service.
                                        Pl. take care one thing if any one is recharge 98 vaucher for GPRS & the whole month he can't use the GPRS due to your technical reason and in the month peoblem was not solved then what the user will do? what is the use of GPRS?

                                        Ya i agree with all the guys . I think aircel s monopoly time is over now as airtel has come up with its attractive plan for internet of rupee 98 in which we get 2 gb and a really faster speed. So aircel wake up before its too late.

                                        The speed of Aircel GPRS is very poor. Most of the times it seems a very big deal to get connected with the GPRS. Also while downloading any image, or music or anything; it takes long time and very often it disconnects giving "Network Error." I believe that using Aircel GPRS is worthless and misuse of Money.

                                        i conducted aircel cust care & they advised 2 browse internet for gprs settings. but i can't see the aircel gprs settings.i've cina model mobile brand CECT V6. pls send me the manual gprs settings for aircel.

I also get speed 3-4 kbps.its very slow...if they can't make a customer satisfaction, why they didn't close this scheme they are cheated to the customer. Aircel Offers internet services cheapest in the market but there is no doubt that its also one of the worst in market when it comes to speed. No software, No settings can increase or can boost up your net speed and this is because i myself work in Aircel Customer Care and so i know all the truth. So throw out your Aircel Connection and take Airtel as it is more expensive here in kolkata (Rs.35 for 24 hours), but offers great service in GPRS category.                                         well, i have used Airtel, vodafone and Idea before switching to Aircel.. and believe it or not, all these service providers have given me the same performance for GPRS . here in pune i'm getting a very stable download speed of 20-30 kbps. what more do i need ?? 14 bucks for 3 days sounds a good deal for me. Actually, cheap as hell. i used to get a speed of around 70kbps on my airtel but that was very rare. verry verry rare. So i think Aircel is providing a decent service regarding GPRS.

                                        20-30 kbps...?? Its impossible... As per the customer care executives they are providing 53.6 kbps downloading speed, ...& thats a wrong message they are providing to us. I m using Aircel for the last 6 mths or even before than that. i m getting speed 1-4 kbps. But pretty interesting, its downloading speed is very fluctuating...sometimes 10-15, sometimes 35 kbps & after a moment its speed reduces to 0.1-1 kbps...

                                        Let me know, in ur handset what is coming G or E when it is connected to pc? The guys getting E, will get more speed cause they are connected to edge network... even if the speed is not gettable, then call cust care & have a complaint. Give area details & they will send technicians to work over it... I m waiting for this as i received a call from them today morning that they are working over it.

                                        FIRST OF ALL WEN WE CALL 121(CUSTOMER CARE) WE DO NOT GET ANY RESPONSE.BUT I HAVE BEEN TRYING FRM WEEKS BUT FINALLY ONCE IT WAS PICKED UP.I BURST ON THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT OFFICER FOR SUCH A POOR SERVICE.HE TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.I HAV DONE ALMOST EVERYTHING TO GET GPRS SETTING BUT IN VEIN.FINALLY HE TOLD ME TO CALL ON 198.I DID.THE OFFICER GAVE ME THE MANUAL SETTINGS FOR GPRS.NOW MY GPRS WORKS GUD.IT SHOWS ME 921.6 KBPS SPEED N I GET 4.4 KBPS AS MY DOWNLOAD SPEED.AIRCELL IS WORSE I[censored]SED FOR DOWNLOADING PURPOSES BUT BEST FOR SURFING PUPOSE.

                                        speed of aircel will depend upon your nearest of aircel tower at now aircel towers are capable of edge i.e., speed of max20-25 KBPS (200-260 kbps) min of 1-3KBPS(15-30kbps)
                                        there is no wrong from the aircel they are fair you all are wxpeting more i.e.as cable broad band which is of 3G speed so leave expextation in your 2G phone which have less capacity

                                        Aircel — Save Tiger

                                        In the recent ad of aircel they have promoted to save tigers. I dont understand this idea of promoting themselves and spending lacks of rupees. In a recent survey it was found that about 180 childs died because of malnutrition. Here we need to save our species first and then focus on saving tigers. In a country like India, children dying because of lack of food and this company is promoting to save tigers and spending lots of money.
                                        How many o[censored]s get a chance to see tigers daily but we see hungry childs here and there. It only cost Rs.20 to feed a child for one time which I don't think is a big deal.
                                        I am not complaining about the Aircel company but we need to think about it.

                                        You are quite true when you say that children are dying out of hunger. Several organizations are working on this and many are joining hands but at the same time we cannot ignore the fact that our national animal is on the verge of extinction. Hence we should appreciate the efforts of Aircel. At least someone has taken the initiative to make it happen and a lot of people are joining this initiative which is great to see.

                                        Myself Meethilesh yadav, from Rajouri garden, new delhi . My no is [protected]. i am getting very low speed of GPRS.Aircel customer care told me that our GPRS speed is 40-50 kbps but this is worng information . the here actual speed of Aircel GPRS is about 1-2 kbps. This is a case of cheating . It is very painful to not only me but also to all the subscribers . The customer care are telling us that it will get well in 78 hwrs. But will they expand their validity. I want some serious step agaist this froad. if this problem will not solve within 7 days than i will go to consumer court.
                                        Aircel sim very poor speed and its again again disconnect autumatically.. its speed only 1-2kbps.
                                        my opinion that its increase the speed and prepare disconnectting problem. nd i tolk to cosmar care he told me dat in 14/- u can browesing 3 days .mens 72hours..but wid in 72 hours how cut mahh all acount blance 34/- so i am going to losss ..so plz check an return my balance okey...

                                        yes i agree, i am using aircel sim for gprs connected to pc. its data transfer is vary widely.The aircel company should clear customers query, how much browsing and download speed can get. Is any down load accelerator can improve speed, if it can aircel itself provide that softwares in its sites free of cost. contact me at [protected]@gmail.com
                                        I've been using GPRS since 2003, before i used Airtel and i was happy with it services.. Airtel always had better speed than Aircel.. but due to unlimited downloading had stopped in Airtel i had to switch to aircel ( & maybe coz of its awareness on save our tigers, i was touched by that so had a go for it).. i m very disppointed with aircel.. its browsing speed is merely 4-5kbps and downloading speed sux as well.. many of the above suggest to use 3G phone i'm using E63/N95/N97 mini..but the speed remains the same.. handset can't do much i[censored]r network provider does not provide u good service.. so its all upto aircel.. i have switched back to Airtel now and happy with it 25/- a day is worth a give, atleast u get downloading speed around 35-40kbps during day!!
