I am writing this email expressing my dissatisfaction with the airtel service lately. I've always advocated for Airtel products but the recent ongoing unresolved experience has changed my perspective. Below are the details and highlights of my complaint:

Request - I placed a request for shifting broadband connection from Ahmedabad to Pune on 25th Sep'23 on Airtel thanks app. I really love your app and the option it gave me to choose the movement date and installation date at the new address. The app experience was really good because it let me choose the date of my choice so I selected 2nd Oct '23 as the installation date.

Issue - On 29th Sep'23, the request turned into a problem because I did not receive any follow-up or confirmation call on the installation etc. You guys call us dozens of times when you see clicks on your website as potential leads but no follow-up for an existing customer's request is clearly evident that you guys don't care. Well, I dialled 121 and got connected with the dedicated Airtel black relationship team. The person assured me that they had escalated this on priority and I would receive details on the engineer.

30th Sep'23 was my movement date and I expected that I would receive a call from Airtel by 1st Oct'23 but unfortunately, you guys didn't care. So I called the so-called dedicated airtel black relationship team on 2nd Oct'23 and the person assured me that they had mentioned all the details on the notes.

Complaint: Despite all the assurances, I didn't a single call from Airtel support staff or engineer in relation to this issue. I did receive one email with OTP from Airtel on 2nd Oct'23 and nothing else. What should I do with this OTP if there is no engineer coming at my place for the installation? I called again on the 3rd and 4th Oct'23. I have been told the same thing. I have also been told repeatedly that the expected resolution date is 8th Oct'23.

My point here is I raised the request on 25th Sep'23 and your app gave me the option to select the installation date and I chose 2nd Oct'23. Then why am I supposed to wait till 8th Oct'23. Is your app not designed to show slots as per the availability? Who is supposed to contact me and give updates on the issue?

I am so frustrated with this awful service. I am going to make an official complaint on social media and Consumer complaints if I don't receive any positive response with the necessary actions to resolve the issue.

    Hi Team,

    My mobile number looks like spoofing. Some strangers called and said now you have called to me. Daily its repeated. Due to that i have black all strangers call. Some time some important calls are blocked. This number is recorded in many places, aadhar card, bank accounts etc... Could you please check and advice, because i have used this number over 6 years.

      I am facing the cross connection issues while making calls. When I call to my friends and family members it connects with any other strange person. And sometimes i can hear the conversation of other two people but my voice is not audible to them.
      This is very concerning issue toward the privacy and personal space.
      Kindly resolve the issue otherwise I will need to switch my network.

        I have been an airtel customer since the last 4-5 years and activating FaceTime and iMessage after a reset on the iPhone has always been difficult and time taking. This time though, the process is stuck on ‘waiting for activation’ step. I have spoken to Apple support and all the settings on my phone are fine. I have tried doing this 3-4 time over the past couple of weeks without any progress. I request you to resolve this issue ASAP. I have seen a lot of similar complains as well. If this is a carrier specific problem that can’t be resolved, I’ll have to look at other carriers options.

          I'm having trouble creating an Airtel Bank account online because I keep getting an error message that says, "Data not found." I've checked everything, and it's correct. I need Airtel Bank to fix this quickly so I can finish making my account. Thanks.

            Warm greetings,
            Sir, we are living in Nambi Nagar, Rediyarpatti Panchayat, Palayamkottai, ?Tirunelveli District, tamilnadu -627007. The work of constructing a cell phone tower is going on among our residential houses around Nambi Nagar. In this regard, the mobile tower is being erected without obtaining any permission from the district head. When asked to contact the Redyarpatti panchayat, it was informed that they did not give any permission for setting up a cell phone tower.

            1. There is habitation all around. Not one meter distance from the residential house.
            2. No permission has been obtained from the District Collector to set up a mobile tower
            3. The area is located in a narrow street
            4. No permission has been obtained from the local body
            4. Children and elderly people live in the area

            According to the decree, if no permission is given within 60 days after this company has applied for setting up a mobile tower, they have set up all the mobile towers they have set up without obtaining permission.

            The company said that the Tirunelveli district administration chief applied to them for 45 days to set up a cell phone tower in our residential area and if they don't refuse permission within 15 days, they will consider it as permission and implement it.

            Therefore, there is a risk of affecting the mental health of our children and the mental development of the children born in the future due to the excessive radiation caused by the installation of cell phone towers in the middle of the residences.

            Therefore, we humbly request you to immediately stop the construction of cell phone towers in our residential areas without obtaining any permission from the government and any NOC from the local body.

              Hi,

              I switched over from pre-paid mobile to Post paid mobile in August 2023. The basic plan was INR 399 plus tax per month.

              However I have received a bill of INR 4300 that mentions I am on a higher charge plan of international daily roaming INR 649 per day.
              My Airtel App does not mention this at all and reflects it as INR 399 infinity family plan.
              I live in the UK, have mobile data switched off and do not use the phone. It will be only when I am in India and is always connected to home broadband.
              Emails to Airtel are just acknowledgements and no clarity. However I am being charged on a daily basis, which I do not know how to stop.

                I have Airtel's family plan. In which a number is added on along with my mobile number. Rs 599 per month with GST 18% whose entire bill was paid on 21st September at 10:21 am. There was no due due.
                Before that on 17th September at 1:53 am I applied to separate my add on mobile number through Airtel app. And the time to remove was shown as two days. There is a process on Airtel Thanks app in which it is removed after verifying the address
                Verification Successful Showed on Airtel at 05:56 pm on 18th September. But from that day my mobile number was not separated. And I am continuously calling on 198, 121 and applying. I am applying every day from 18th September to 27th September. But I did not get any help from Airtel customer care. And every time it is said that it will be resolved within 24 hours. Only lies after lies have been told.
                On 23 September at 4:31pm, when I visited Airtel store in Nagpur, Maharashtra, Sadar, Mount Road, opposite barbeque, 440001 and I talked to Sheeba Shaikh there, she said that our internet is not working for 3 days. Since, the laptop is not working. And when I asked her to do it, she kept making excuses. And she was saying don't leave and we will get the work done for your bill. And ignored us and made us wait there for 42 minutes
                He was engrossed in his personal matters in the Airtel store. They don't care about the customer. And I saw there that they do not have the capacity to run an Airtel store.
                When I complained to Airtel customer care against that Airtel store, the very next day I got a call from Sheeba Sheikh from this mobile number [protected] on 25th September at 7:21pm and I told her everything. And she said, I will separate your number in half an hour. Don't worry. But today is 27th September. Neither does she answer the phone. And if she picks up, she says I will call you later.I also mailed Airtel regarding this matter [protected]@airtel. Com. Everything was written in detail in the mail. But no reply came from him.
                And my daily bill is being prepared. I want to port my mobile number from airtel. I don't want Airtel even for a moment. And Airtel has many schemes, if I visit the store. And they don't help me. My bill is being prepared daily in this waiting category. Because of which Airtel people will again bring trouble on me asking me to pay the bill. Only then will the number be separate. And all my bills till date are clear.
                request the Honorable Judge Sir to give me a hearing. The situation from which I. Passing by. Please do justice to me. I am also attaching the screenshot along with this complaint.

                  Dear Team,

                  I have been patiently waiting for fifteen days now to receive my DTH connection, but unfortunately, Airtel team has not been successful in delivering the product or providing any updates or resolutions. It appears to be a system glitch that your team has been unable to identify and rectify.

                  I have repeatedly requested the customer care executive for a communication reference number, but they have been unable to provide one, citing it as an internal communication matter.

                  I have been in contact with Mr. Hemant Vibhute (Mobile Number:[protected]. Mr. Vibhute has been diligently working towards resolving this issue since September 15th, 2023; however, the problem persists and remains unresolved.

                  I am interested in the Airtel Black Plan priced at Rs. 799/-, which includes 2 postpaid connections and 1 DTH service. Please take the necessary action and kindly confirm once it is done.

                    Internet is not working because wire cut but Airtel Fiber is not repaired

                    I have made payment to get connection for my New House in Thoripakkam
                    600 096, Chennai.

                    Initially as soon as enquire was placed sales person visited the site and said connection is available on assurance of the same I have placed the order.

                    But now when the installation team arrived I was informed all the point in the box are full it's impossible to get a connection . Once I get to know fact I called the service engineer ( Yuvaraj :-+[protected] he asuured he will get it resolved.

                    Next day when I called him regarding the same he didn't attend the call and he isn't attending the call till now.

                    I have raised the issue to airtel nodal.[protected]@in.airtel.com and appellate.[protected]@airtel.com but both of them didn't resolve the issue and didn't even have courtesy to revert back. ( Have attached photos of the mail )

                    Hence, I would like to notify the issue to cancel my connection and refund my amount.

                      I disconnected my Airtel broadband connection 2 months ago. I was calling for customer care for refund. No use till date. I couldn't connect them, when I checked with their agency outlet. They are saying no such refund option after broadband disconnections.
                      I disconnected my account but my money is with them.
                      When I asked for new connection they where asking me to deposit some amount and told that the amount will be refunded when we disconnect their services. But nothing is happening.

                          I have observed many time, when my recharge plan last day, then Airtel team reduce the my Internet speed, I'm not able to use internet speed same as a normal day..

                          If I'm paying recharge plan for 28 or etc plan, All day speed should me same as a normal day

                              Hello there,

                              I have cancelled my order of Airtel Black.

                              I have cancelled order ID 21-[protected] but I haven’t got my 4000₹ refund yet.

                              The person who was initiated my connection was Mohan Nagar, phone no. is +[protected].

                              I have been following up with Airtel on Twitter because they do not connect me over call and they do mot have any email support. In Twitter also they are not responding at all.

                                Delinking aadhaar number with airtel payment bank

                                Hi,

                                This is regarding delinking of aadhar number with airtel Payment bank.

                                When i bought airtel sim card few years ago using my aadhar card, airtel linked my aadhar with airtel payment bank.i am not aware of anything that there is such airtel payment bank and they have not even informed regarding this.
                                I never used airtel bank nor heard of this.
                                Now, i am facing problem that i am not able to delink...

                                Airtel has become from bad to worst in network and internet data service provider. To start off with the network drops down to less than 50% frequently in all the locations I travel. To add on, the internet connection does not give proper internet while using any social media or basic chrome. Thou i have 1.5GB data per day I hardly use 500MB per day with a very very poor internet .
                                Airtel management - There is no point in showcasing yourself the best service provider in adds when you can't even provide the basic network and internet to the customers.
                                Personally if my issues with airtel network is not resolved, I will be porting out from airtel to a different network provider sooner.

                                  I have been raising complaints against the issue of my broadband connection for the past 3 weeks to no avail. Previously, I was able to raise complaints directly via the Airtel app, but now I have to sit through the incessant babble of their IVR line to even register a complaint.

                                  The customer care executive opens a ticket against my complaint and the concerned service technician (Venkatesan, [protected]), who visited my place once owing to continuous calls figured out that the same was due to a faulty modem which requires replacement and then proceeds to closes the complaint without any communication or action from their side. This routine has been going on for the past 3 weeks and I haven't heard from him since.

                                  The current ticket Id: [protected] has been allotted to me on 13-Sep-2023 and is still yet to have a technician assigned to it. After making several calls, I managed to get hold of the area supervisor's contact information (Sivaraman, [protected]) and have been battling it out with him as well for the past week and every time I get the same answer, he's "looking into it" and that his technician is attending another issue nearby and will reach my place shortly.

                                  Airtel used to have a service standard before in my area. Utterly disappointed by the service; considering change of broadband altogether.
