Hi

I have received a letter (attached scan copy for your ref) from Allahabad Bank stating that Rs. 3000 has been debited from my savings a/c (Old: 188751, CBS: [protected]) to adjust outstanding entry i.e. ATM withdrawal on 20.06.2009. I have asked to branch manager of Tentulberia branch (my home branch) regarding this deduction, he said they have not deducted at that time due to link failure, so now they have debited this amount.

I have sent couple of emails to atmbo.[protected]@allahabadbank.in but I have not received any reply from them

If I believe that there was a link failure but why they have not deducted the same amount in the same day or I have to believe that link was failure for 2.5 yrs. So now they are deducting the amount. Nobody can remember a transaction 2.5 yrs back, Allahabad bank is deducting the amount for an ATM withdrawal which is done 2.5yrs back. Tomorrow bank can send another letter that they have deducted Rs. 300000 due to a transaction made ten years back. Then what I have to do?

the card cannot be used to make payent on websites.evey bank debit card is available to use on websites for making payements except allahbad bank

Please look into the matter and update the bill as earlist as possible and not repeat in future.Otherwise you are responsible for legal action.

On 31st of July(11:37 AM) I used my ATM card at Canara Bank’s ATM at Bharat Nagar Chowk, Ludhiana. The amount was debited of Rs 10,000 and no cash was withdrawn, Transaction Declined. I asked the Canara bank’s manager they required a transaction ID, But at Allahabad bank the concerned person said that there is no such transaction. I am 3 1/2 year old Customer of your bank. I've Submitted my complaint on 1st july but no amount is credited yet!

i have used an allahabad atm card for transaction of the amount of rs. 1000/- on 27/07/2009 (monday) from ICICI atm card at calicut city kerala, the transaction couldnot happen but the amount has been deducted.

I am from Mumbai. My mother droped a cheque(Cheque no 557992 SBI JVPD branch Mumbai ) at allahabad bank ANNAPURNA branch(Branch code 211492 VILL & P.O. PARMANANDPUR BALAIPANDA BLOCK - MOYNA PURBA MIDNAPORE WEST BENGAL) on 11th June. Cash from my account deducted on 23rd June. But still this money is not deposited in my Mother's account. I talked with Shri Narendra Singh (Designation : General Manager Address : Allahabad Bank Head Office 2, N. S. ROAD Kolkata- 700 001Telephone No. : [protected] . He gave me a phone number. But that number is OUT OF ORDER. He suggested me to file a case. Can you help me. Its urgent.

Subject: Cash not dispensed but account debited

On 15th July, in the evening around 5 PM, I wanted to withdraw cash of Rs 10, 000 from my SB account through SBI ATM located at Badarpur, Delhi but cash was not dispensed from ATM. I got a reply that “SORRY TO UNABLE PROCESS”. (Receipt No- TXN No: 6688)

But later, getting no amount dispensation I checked my balance, I found that a sum of Rs 10, 000 has been debited from my SB account. (Receipt No- TXN No: 6689)

On 17th July, i made a complaint at Allahabad Bank, Sec-51, Noida-201301 Branch & the concern person told me that they will be forwarding my complaint to the concerned department for necessary action. & will have a response from them shortly. However I have not received the credit till date.

May I request you to check for this erroneous debit and refund the amount to my account at the earliest possible time frame?

I have not recieved the dividends for Allahabad Bank of 25% declared on 04/05/09 for 100 shares.

I am saving account No. 7229 holder of allahabad bank Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur.UP. I have submit application for ATM debit card in above branch. About 21 days ago i receive massage from bank that PIN of my ATM debit card received in the bank but ATM card, which is to receive by mail in my postal address is still not received till today.please do needful

i have used sbi atm at allahabad bank, tirwa, kannauj, u.p. on 24/02/09 for withdrawal of rs 4000/- but my account is showing two time debit of rs 4020/-, a total of rs 8040/-. i had given the complain regarding this to my sbi branch, afa township, hyderabad on 15/03/09 as well as to allahabad bank, tirwa, kannauj branch. but till date i have niether got my amount back nor bank official are offering a favourable reply. they are avoiding my querry phone calls. so kindly look into the matter

Respected Sir Now I am very disappointed and start feeling that no one can progress without politics. Nobody is serious regarding my education loan and I am complaining again and again to you but no positive result is coming out. In the last two month respected Allahabad bank manager had taken my interview but there is no answer till now and manager is not available in the branch. I got the information by telephone from lead bank cell that your proposal has been rejected by manager reason this case is not vivid (clear).
But I have not anything in written.

I get the admission in Diploma in information technology level 6 that mean second year in any relevant field because I have been completed a diploma in information technology from MMC college Australia through AUPP from Luck now center . People get the loan for level 5 from various branch of Allahabad bank but I am not getting for level 6. I have been also awarded by scholarship of amount 1500 $NZ and 80 hours paid internship by the college.

Now I come at finance part. My father is a farmer and income is 1 lac p.a. I live in a joint family so my grandfather holds all the property .we have 20 arced agriculture land and 4 big houses .my family income is 3.5 lac p.a. My total expense of study is 7.2 lac and I am applying for 4 lac in the form of education loan. I have sponsorship of 2.5 lac from my uncle and remaining amount I can deposit in the branch at any time. I am sending all the supporting documents.

I am sorry to tell you but actual thing is that manager does not have the proper knowledge about the education loan because they had not asked about IELTS score that very important for study abroad no university can admission without that and he was not asking about the income certificate then how they can assess my proposal .They were only asking “Why are you going abroad live in India” . I told them because my previous qualification is to much costly and it will be wasted if I will not go and I will get international qualification that matter in career. Now I need to take some strong step.

I request you sir now I do not have time to take admission and I have already wasted two year by the reason of education loan please Do something as soon as possible.

On the non receipt of the divident cheque for the year 2007-08, I sent a registered post to the authorities concerned.After that a re validated cheque bearing ch. no. 025580 was sent to me which I deposited in my bank account with SBI as the same was mentioned on the cheque.After some on enquiry I came to know that the cheque has been not hounred by Allahabad Bank, Service Branch, Patna on the pretext that "Revalidated instrument payable through issuing branch only." If that is the rule then why I was issued a re validated cheque because due to this a sum of Rs.75/- has been deducted from my SBI account.Is it possible for me to go to Kolkata to get my payment from Patna?Even if I go to Kolkata to the Issuing Branch, the cheque has been issued to credit in my SBI account.How will I get my money with all the losses and compensation.

I used ATM card on date 06-04-09 to draw Rs10000, Rs100 and noticed that due to certain problem in machine/ networking, the money was not came out but surprise to know that the amount was debited from my account.
Kindly check my atm accounts, and .plz credited the respective amounts as early as possible

Reg: Fraudulent withdrawal of Rs.80, 000 from the Saving Account no. [protected] (119413) in the name of Ms Pushpalata Pandey

My mother-in-law has a saving bank account at Allahabad Bank-Hazratganj, Lucknow (Main Branch) for last 7-8 years in which she receives her’s as well as her husband’s (posthumous) pension.

This is to bring to your kind notice that she has been duped of Rs.80, 000 by erroneous withdrawal from her Saving Bank account (no. as mentioned above).

She came to know of the same only on 15th April when she updated the Passbook. She approached the Bank with me and her daughter very next day and met Mr Hari Mohan, AGM and Mr P K Srivastava, CM and represented them the issue with a letter (copy enclosed for the reference).

Also to update you of the fact:

1. After checking at her end she came to know that 4 cheque leaves bearing nos. 465814, 465815, 465817 & 465818 are missing from the cheque book
2. Out of these four cheque leaves someone has withdrawn Rs.20, 000 from cheque no. 465814 dt. 26th February 2009 and again Rs.60, 000 from cheque no. 465815 dt. 4th April 2009
3. She has stopped payment for the remaining two cheques mentioned above.
4. On verifying the forged instrument’s (cheque’s) it was established that someone has forged the signature which can be seen with naked eyes to be hugely mismatched.
5. This is gross carelessness on the part of bank who has allowed payment of such a heavy amount from an individuals account without cross checking the signature and identity of the person presenting the cheque.
6. We discussed the issue with Mr Mohan as well as Mr Srivastava as they acknowledged the mistake of the bank but also said that as this is case of mismatch of signature and a norm we have to honour all the self cheque’s hence case is disputed and as Jurisdiction will be redressed only by Court. They being Bank’s top official has to cover up the same and will not agree to the fact that sign is mismatched.
7. So before we go to Local Police (I have already discussed the issue with SP city unofficially) and to Press/ media I have decided to give it a chance for another one month and wait and watch if the person doing this fraud comes to represent the another cheque as he is already holding two more cheques.

Apart from this I would like to know the action being taken against the Bank officials for such careless delegation of duties not just once but twice which doesn’t rule out the involvement of Bank official at some level.

I want to address the issue to your body for the redressal of the same.

The Bank online form Rarelly opens and shows "Server is too Busy". If opens, the filled form desen't process. I have tried so many times, and failed to generate my regestration no. This is Banks Server Fault, Kindly Extend the Last Date of Farm Filling.
