With great disappointment I would like to inform you that AOsmith 6 liter capacity water geyser (A.O.SMITH Geyser 6L/Ver/SGS) has giving us really headache due to the poor quality performance and below par unacceptable product standard.
I have registered the complaint more than 9 times online and each time the same technician visits, repairs the geyser, however within next few days again same issues. The water geyser do not work. I am tired of registering the online complaint.
In my last 3-4 complaint, I am asking for the replacement of the product but no response other than sending the same poor technician who also laughs after visiting and agreeing that the product if faulty and he can’t do more than just repairing one more time.

      A bunch of ants was lying dead in the water tank. The water was being consumed and family members were falling ill because of this.
      This is to draw your kind attention to the manufacturing defect in the Z1 water purifier. We bought an A.O. Smith Z1 UV 10 liter wall mountable purifier on the 3rd of October 2021.

      For several weeks we were getting some dust and particles from the tap of the purifier. We registered a complaint on 4th July 2022. We were shocked to see the water tank of the purifier. A lot of insects' dead bodies were lying in the water which we have been drinking. I asked the A.O. Smith technician how come these insects entered the tank. He said there is some gap under the water tank of the purifier due to which the insects may enter and be trapped while reaching into the tank. He said that it’s a very common issue these days in this model. He had attended several similar complaints.
      After making a lot of complaints for about two weeks, finally today i.e. on the 02nd of August 2022 a technician visited and when he opened the tank again there was the same scenario. A bunch of ants and other insects were found in the tank. This time I made a video while the technician opened the tank. That video will be posted soon. When I complained to customer care they said that call the area manager. While calling the area manager, Mr. Kataria, suggested that the issue of ants cannot be resolved and advised to use the Laxman Rekha around the tank.
      I verified from a friend, who said it happened with him also. He dumped the product of AO Smith and started using another brand.
      This is a very dangerous and serious defect in the water purifier. This may be the reason that we and our kids were getting sick often. Such kind of situation can also lead to unfortunate results. I have lodged the complaint on the grievance cell as advised by my lawyer so that the company can learn the lesson later on in court.

        Purchased on 15th Feb 2022 from Croma, Blr . From the day one it is not dispensing the hot water properly, couple of times technician visited the site but no luck on 22nd July, another technician came and now it stopped completely .

          I purchased AO smith water heater on 16th July 2022 and after 1 day of installation, the water heater is not working.

          Raised the SR with case number 16394856. From last 48 hours, nobody bothered to contact me.

          What a pathetic service. kindly take your water heater back and refund my money.

            I have purchased AO smith water purifier last oct 2021 and since the last two days there is an issue with the produce as the UV indicator is on and we have stopped using the same.I have registered a complaint yest morning but till date there is no response fm the company and i have taken time to even send mails to their corporate office requesting for assistance but not resonse.They are not bothere about the customer concern at all and the customer has to face the music and take the pain in suffering by taking ur products, this is really sad and suprising.
            How do u expect us to stop using the pruifier and wait for ur service person to visit and do necessary rectifications.
            We are thoroughly disappointed by ur product and are being forced to stop using ur products

                I have purchased a HAS-X water heater and after one day of purchase company has called me for installation and shared the address
                Technician arrived and told he cant installed inside false celing and company will send another technician.
                After one day I have received a call where a guy told me that my free installation is now cancelled

                  We got a new AOSmith water purifier two months ago and now its not functioning and making acute beeping noise. the service guys comes and says, change the filter in two months. There are other residents in my apartment who changes every 6 months. So something is fundamentally wrong with the machine and filter.

                  According to call center lady - water coming to my house is different than other houses in same apartment building. I said, I will lodge a complaint with Consumer grievance and her response was " Go where ever you want"

                  I am surprised to see the level of respect / Fear for law.

                    Sir/Madam,

                    I purchased AO SMITH Z8 water purifier on 21 Apr 2021. It stopped working from 17 Jun 2022. I raised a complaint with customer service team of AO SMITH with complaint number 16273504 on 17 Jun 22. Service technician visited our home on 28th Jun 22 which is delayed by 12 days. Your company saying service will be given in 72 hours. Technician found 4 Rats in his inspection inside the purifier. These rats damaged the hot water tank, pipes and power adapter etc.. completely. Technician said this would cost us around 4000/- to make the purifier operational.

                    I have used multiple brands of water purifiers since 15 years and never this kind of problem occured. I couldn't understand why such provision of empty space is provided in the purifier that can lead to this kind of issues. Never seen such a fault in the design of the product. This is very unexpected that rats can go into the purifier and damage parts. If rats can go inside then the flies, insects also can go inside causing unhygienic and infectious conditions.

                    Despite all these, the behaviour of Technician was very rude. Attended the complaint by 12 days and he left home without intimation and closed my compliant mentioning that I denied to pay the cost of repair. This is really disgusting that technician from company like AO SMITH behaving in such a manner.

                    Even the customer care of AO SMITH denied forwarding the complaint to higher authorities saying that they were not having any source to forward it to above officials. They asked me to write a mail to AO SMITH and said this can only provide solution to my issue.

                    Sir, I kindly appeal you to please take a note of my compliant. I bought the product based on trust for the brand AO SMITH. But I didn't expect this kind of irregularities in the operation of purifier. Please consider the fault in the product and replace my product with a new one. It was really horrible bearing such huge amount from pocket each time. If not please refund me the amount for my purifier. I have recommended this product to many of my friends and wrote best reviews on many sites in the past. But yet I havent mentioned this problem anywhere else keeping in view the reputation of brand AO SMITH.

                    I request you to take necessary action on my complaint.

                      I have an AO Smith Geyser 15 ltr capacity which I bought in 2020 (Model HSE-VAS-X015). I have opened 20+ complaints for this geyser ever since. THe geyser trips down MCB from time to time when turned on and then it does not turn back on until the next tech visit. The technician has changed the coil/thermostat and performed cleaning of the tank multiple times but the issue does not seem to disappear.

                      So here I am, asking for a replacement of this model as this is still under warranty. Even the technician says that there is nothing left for him to do now as it is a known problem with this model.

                        I purchases AO smith Z2+ UTc water purifer and it was installed on 29th May. Since 31 May, it has not been working. I am tryijg to get a replacement but to no avail. Till today I have not got any replacement. I have raised it on whatsapp, over call and email but there is no proper escalation matrix which I am getting. There is no resolution I am getting. I am unable to get safe filtered water despite purchasing a water purifier.
                        The location is incorrect. I am from Bidhannagar, West Bengal.

                          ON THE SAME DAY OF INSTALLATION RO STOPPED WORKING .
                          We(GKN INTERNATIONAL ) have purchased a New RO AO Smith WPZ2+
                          against order no HJP-C-SOA3504, code[protected] from Vijay
                          Sales India Pvtd Ltd, urban estate, Sohna Road, Jacobpura, Haryana on
                          31st-May 2022 valued rs 19000.
                          Its was Installed on 1st June 2022 ….
                          But on the 2nd day itself its stopped working .. Since that day till now I
                          am calling continously to AO smith representatives mentioned Contact
                          No [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] available on
                          Customer care of AO Smith ..
                          But Till now our Problem is not sorted ..
                          And we are still waiting to get it started … This is Really Harrashing
                          situation, As people use to visit at house after many requests … They
                          checked & told that PCB cart damaged & need to replace .
                          After
                          checking, from that day till now they have done number of hit & trials by
                          placing different Parts in RO to get it started.. But of no use!!
                          Sometimes
                          they say that its New Model & they do not have this Parts at present and
                          it will take 15- 20 days to arrange the Part…
                          Pl see this on high priority as
                          we got totally exuasted now, . In last 20 days 4-5 person visited at our
                          house & the are making daily experiments ..Their behaviour is also not
                          appropriate ..
                          Further I am unable to Tolrate this .. Being an International
                          Brand we were expecting Good services & responsible well mannered
                          staff ..
                          But its totally beyond thinking …I propose pl see this matter
                          personally & send a responsible person to sort out My problem
                          immidiately by starting the RO again with the exact Part .

                            I purchased a AOmsith Water purifier Pro Planet 7 last week directly from your sales executive Mr Uday in Bangalore, the product was billed from Sampurna International, the distributor to Bangalore. this has been a horrific experience since Day 1.

                            1. Water started leaking below the unit. had to raise it to Uday and a ticket was raised to rectify it. A person named Naveen came and told he fixed it ans informed me that it was some loose connection. however, the very next day the issue reoccurred.

                            2. even after flushing the tank twice, the water taste is absolutely not good and doesn't state like a RO + SCMt filter as advertised. this seems to be a LEMON to me.

                            I informed this again to the sales executive Uday and he raised another ticket. service team Uday replaced 2 parts inside the filter in a brand new filter. however the water issue is not rectified. Kent water tastes better than this Filter. I guess this is more than a defective product. even after complaining this, none of them are bothered to rectify this issue.

                            a brand new filter has 2 parts rectified in 2 days of purchase and water tastes bad. I need a replacement of this product or a refund of this. I am tired of talking to service technicians.

                            This is a Serious issue with Companies playing with water. Who will be responsible if there is a health issue for us.

                              I bought AO Smith Water purifier P6 on march 3rd 2022 from Vijayawada Andhra Pradesh after one week usage hot water flow pressure has reduced.so i registered call for techician. Techinician visited next day and he replaced with hot water tap then flow is good again after 2days water leaking from night visible L.E.D so i raised a call again the same techician visited and he told tank was broken, he replaced with new tank and left after one hour again hot water tap flow totally decreased then i registered call again and requested not to send unskilled technician. After five days of complaint one technicisn came and again he changed new hot water tap. the flow was ok for somedays then it stopped again i raised complaint nobody turnedup till now. Thanks Ao Smith you made me busy with raising complaint every week and waiting for worst unskilled technician ever.

                              Replace my product as i cant raise a complaint everyweek and also service is very bad in vijayawada andhra pradesh

                              I live in Yeleswaram, East Godavari district near Rajahmundry. I plan to get this AO Smith Z9 water purifier since it has water boiling technology. But as per your comment, the service was horrible. So, You say it is not worth buying this product?

                                I have previously raised a complaint regarding geyser.

                                But the complaint was marked as "Resolved" but it wasn't resolved.

                                I request AO Smith to send the technician to repair/replace the faulty geyser.

                                      AO Smith RO Water Purification System

                                      Our RO Water Purification system has stopped working. It is under extended warranty. We complained to AO Smith Customer on 11-Apr-2022. As per email received from them for request tracking, the complaint reference number is 16050321.

                                      However, despite repeated calls to their customer service over the last 7 days, they have so far not sent an engineer to rectify the complaint. Our RO system is still non-functional even though...

                                      I have been following up with AO Smith Service Center for the past 2-3 weeks and still, no agent has come to my place for Service. I talked to Service Agent but he is giving false promises.

                                      Have purchased Water Purifier Z8 model and I have purchased AMC as well and bit worried about the annual service even after paying a hefty amount. they have to come to my place for Preventive maintenance which they legally mentioned in the contract.

                                      I am very much disappointed with the kind of service that is provided by AO Smith.
