I had 3 years support paying more than 13K for support. I had AO smith filter indicating that it requires filter change. But none of the Engineers changed the filters for 3 years. They waited till contract is over and now they blackmail that they will change if i take service contract.

I am using water filter from last 20 years and worst experience has come from AO Smith. At last after seeing my plight one of the engineers changed couple of filters and to our astonishment filters are totally gone bad.

So we were drinking dirty water from couple of years.

I am still waiting a proper response from AO smith. My experience will be made public, Just want to see how much time i have to wait.

    I have purchase AO smith in the name of lakshmi chennakeshava constructions in the month of march 2021.
    Currently my water filter is having leakage from tank and still the first service is not done.
    I have request through customer care number on Saturday, they have created service request on Saturday
    here is my service request details

    Today morning i observed the both the service requests are cancelled due to customer is out off station. This is completely wrong .I am available in my address and not received any call from any one. Simply they cancelled the request. Which is not fare .and losing confidence on product support.

        My Self Sameer From Pune Maharashtra I was Purchased AO Smith Water Purifier Last Year But till Date their is no One contact me for servicing, And I had a Contact Last week on customer care no 2 times But their is no response from AO Smith Already 1 week pass out I contacted to customer care And this is the worst service which I feel That Why m purchased AO Smith Product . I suggest people who thinks not to Go for the AO Smith Product Please.

          Had filed a complaint on1/8/21 and technician visited on 1/8/ itself and charged 400/ vide receipt no 307 ( Ype global pvt ltd ) but the geyser stopped working just after one hour
          Another complaint was lodged and again the technician visited on 7/8/21 and again charged 400/ vide receipt no 329
          But again water heater stopped working within one hour
          There after again complaint was lodged and your agency was also contacted directly but they aren’t responding
          Complaint has also been lodged at customer service

                I am a perspective customer and have shortlisted your Geyser to be installed in my project in Cuttack, Odisha, 753014.I have contacted your customer care to reach out to the sales team and got the what's up number and contacted them. They asked me to send an email so send the email with details. It is been one and half week now nobody contacted me. I need 10 Geyser to be installed in my first project in Cuttack, Odisha. Not sure if this is the way your sales team behaves and respond to the customers how will they serve when the products are sold.Very disappointed.

                    I had perches AO Smith water purifier since three years back. Service
                    persons came to my home and serviced the purifier during february 2020 Now i have problem in the said purifier i made a request to service person on 5/8.2021 of his cell number is [protected]. till today that is 8.7.2021 despite of several requests the said service person did not turned out and he does not care about this. I have suffering from with out drinking water since last three days. hence i request to kindly direct the service persons to repair my AG smith water purifier.

                      We have purchased Ao Smith Z8 10 L RO Water Purifier (Black) on 17 dec 2020.At that time also, the product got installed after about one month of delivery in around last week of jan 2021. Now the RO is not starting.We already launched the compaint on 31 july 2021.But it has been 9 days, there is no response from the service team.Whenever we call customer care, they simply say that the product will be repaired/serviced soon.But we dont get any concrete/exact date as when they will send engineer to service it. There is no follow up by the company to resolve the complaint lodged on priority basis.The complain is hanging in their system with status as "open" .That's what it shows from past 9 days.

                          Dear AO SMITH,

                          I don't feel sorry to say that I am regretting choosing the AO smith geyser in spite of having a lot of options. I preferred quality sales assuming that the reputation of AO smith does provide quality service. But, I am utterly wrong as I came across the worst ever after sales service one can encounter from a world class organization.
                          I purchased " AO Smith SGS-PLUS-010 Storage 10 Litre Vertical Water Heater (Geyser) White Express Heat 5 Star | B075SWBJLS (B075SWBJLS ) " from " M/s. Cloudtail India Private Limited, BHIWANDI, MAHARASHTRA, 421302 " through AMAZON e-commerce with invoice No: IN-BOM[protected]; Dt: 09.11.2020, with two years comprehensive warranty in addition to other warranty on inner tank & heating element. As per the purchase terms, M/s. AO Smith shall execute the installation at free of cost within 48 hours from the date of delivery of the product. The product was delivered on 15.11.2020, but neither I received any call from AO Smith nor any installation team of AO Smith visited me for installation as per the promised schedule. Under such conditions and considering the then prevailing pandemic situations, I installed & commissioned the geyser without any deviation from the manufacturer's norms or procedures.
                          However, within 30 days, the decorative top cover got a crack for unknown reasons, which was disregarded by me as it was purely decorative and has nothing to do with the functioning of the geyser. Thereafter, on 12.07.2021, an unusual sound and smoke was observed from the geyser within 5 min of its switching on and the geyser became inoperative; then started my struggle with the world class AO SMITH and is still continuing with ZERO result. Soon after the geyser became inoperative, I raised service ticket no. 14314805; Dt: 12.07.2021 and being assured that the service will be attended within 48 hours. After a consistent pursuance ( with customer care number, whatsapp chat, regional office representative, service department representative and the technician ) with lots of frustration and disappointment, the technician visited on 22.07.2021 and made an attempt to rectify the geyser after collecting the copy of the invoice of the geyser from me and left my residence with the failed attempt stating that some spare parts have to be replaced which will be done within next 48 hours. To my surprise, the service ticket # 14314805; Dt: 12.07.2021 was closed unilaterally without any information to me or any concern from me that too without providing any resolution to the ticket, which is highly objectionable.
                          Under Such circumstances, while expressing my dissatisfaction and objection to the AO SMITH customer care representative on 27.07.2021, I demanded for reopening of the ticket # 14314805; Dt: 12.07.2021 by explaining the above scenario and requested to arrange for immediate rectification of the geyser. In response, the customer care representative, while assuring that the service will be attended & rectified within next 48 hours, registered a fresh ticket # 14683905; Dt: 27.07.2021 stating that the system will not permit to reopen the closed tickets.
                          It has been three days since the second ticket was raised and almost 20 days from the service was requested but neither did I receive any call from AO smith or its representative nor any technician had visited / attended the complaint. I demand AO SMITH to look into the issue from the customer's perspective, and understand the fact that the product has been kept useless / idle for almost one month, and even do not know up to what time it shall be kept useless. Why should I lose my usage time for such a longer period after spending so much?

                          Hence, I request you to bestow your personal attention in this regard and arrange for immediate replacement of the product as AO smith is unable to provide proper service and as I already lost almost one month of the utilization time for no fault from my side.

                          I am herewith enclosing a copy of the invoice & warranty slip with a demand to provide the replacement within 1 week from the date of this mail please. The contact details, address etc., are already available with AO smith and also available in the invoice attached herewith.

                              AO Smiths is not providing service to my request number 14671125 From past 8 days, I been calling them, sent email to customer services and grievance mail I’d. But the only response I got is as follows. Even after paying for AMC, these guys are not providing service.

                                Subject: Request#14672325 & 14700449 respectively

                                We purchased AO smith on 25june'2020 and our filters were not working properly and there is a physical damage for external candle setup.

                                My mom and dad tried reaching local service guys by named Sai and Yaswanth for the same in the month of may'2021 for which no one attended the complaint till now and got a response if we are willing to bare cost of local spares they would come and fix it else it would take min 6 months to get the product as Ao smith company is closing and so no spared are available. My mom and dad doesn't know how to call customer care and make a complaint and now for this i came from a different place to my hometown and raised a complaint and it's mentioned below.

                                No one called for the request#14672325 till now from 10:59pm 27july'21 till 11:42am on 30july'21 and surprisingly your service representative SAI closed the ticket that I'm not responding to calls, it's so sarcastic situation i have ever gone thru. And Now I raised a request again #14700449 And i should wait for another 48 hours for which this SAI will close it again with a reason not responding and you guys will believe it.

                                SAI (mobile#[protected]) responded to my first call once and said if I would like to go with other company/local spare parts he will come for quick service else they will Delay itseems. I said i need only original spares and then immediately he disconnected to my call and didn't respond to me till now. I called more than 20-30 times I these three days.

                                YASWANTH (boss to sai/india head, that's what he said to me) mobile#[protected] called me @9pm IST (He said they have permissions toc call the customer 24/7) on 28july'21 and informed me that he got the spare from chennai and would fix it early hours 29july'21 but post that he never responded to my calls. I called him and texted him requesting to come and fix it but no use till now @11:42am on 30july'21.

                                These guys are literally playing with elderly people's emotions and testing our patience. We did a mistake in purchasing ao smith and would never ever purchase or refer anyone to do so.

                                Our experience with ao smith is/was pathetic.

                                While selling, you guys beg us but when service you make us beg. Great company norms.

                                Shame on the founders of ao smith or to the Indian management.

                                Better have some shame and give worth full promises not just selling. Share your escalation/manager numbers when needed, just don’t hide them. This Guntur team is worst enough and I want some responsible person from ai smith to take disciplinary actions against Yaswanth and Sai who misbehaved with my father.

                                Will you agree if the same happens to your father/monther? If not, treat this as an escalation and let me know with an update on how you trained/requested your so called above mentioned employees.

                                  The part fixed by the authorised technician is faulty. The water from my X8 water purifies is not filling the tank but continuously flushing out all the water to the drain. Horrible service provided and horrible response to service request to customers who have paid and taken an AMC. Very very dissapointed with AO smith service.

                                    To the above subject today after AO smith guy came home for periodical Maintances of Water Purifier Z9 Model under AMC … has spoilt the Machine an the Water Purifier Started Leaking from all over the Body … an then he empty’s the water purifier an says something went loose he has tightened it now it will not leak … thus he left my home in few minutes water started over flowing again then I stayed calling the same number from where I received the call but all went in vain as he didn’t answer the call… few minutes later I gave complaint to AO Smith Call Center they gave me a Complaint No.14674125 /14253115 An then the Previous Person called me saying I will send some one to come n check please provide me closure code to close the complaint … I found something fishy didn’t give him the code an told him to come an attend the problem an then I shall give the code … the above details was given to AO Smith Customer Care again they then Provided Me with the Cell No.. Mr. Shakerappa ( Area Service Manger) +[protected] … the same time I dialled his Number he responded an was also aware of the issue… that was great about AO Smith for that fastest Response … he said someone will come an sought out the issue ASAP… an after sometime I got a call from another vendor of AO Smith he says me that you didn’t pay me AMC charges first you send me all the details then I will come over I one again called up AO Smith call Center this again they said me that my AMC is there an Valid till 6 OCT 2021… once again I called the service guy an told him that my AMC is still active an I have paid .. but he refused an said me to share the details of bank an the person whom I have paid … 😇 then I started thank god I had paid the amount from my account so could find the details then took the screenshot an shared with the person again then he says me to tell the guys name how collected an his mobile but I said I this much details only you kindly check with AO Smith Customer Care Center an understand the same … now I fell really disappointed with such pathetic system … the company like AO Smith which has Great Products but has bad service provider who has no knowledge of the product … AO Smith has to Look into this matter an see that it is solved immediately

                                        I have raised my concern about water purifier not working and we are struggling to get drinking water from outside. I raised the ticket on 5 th July but nobody responded and I have given call again on 8th July but again there is no proper response on the solution.
                                        I'm approaching expiry of my warranty and due to that purposefully not responding. Its looking like a cheating.

                                        I want service immediately otherwise I will escalate to next level. I will go to consumer forum.
