I asked for Dr. Rama Narasimhan at registration counter on 25/05/2016.They sent me to new building where someone at reception (Ground Floor) asked me to go through package check up.At 1st floor reception I repeatedly argued that after visiting my doctor I will go through tests which she would prescribed. But they forced me telling that Dr. Rama will be happy if I completed tests earlier.I then asked them that I didn't know what to test that time.They selected a package of Rs.5400/- by asking me some questions about my health and compelled to do so.Later Dr. Rama told me that those test were not necessary for me and she prescribed me another two tests.That time she helped me to launch a complaint and that complaint letter was kept in blue file with all my medical informations. Next day I again launched a complaint at Corporate Help desk in Main Building. Now I am off-chennai.No one contacted me .I am so disappointed at first time visit .I think Apollo is still a good hospital in matter of doctors but it becoming a careless hospital day by day.

    To whosoever concerned

    Sir, while coming to Apollo we have an expectation of service and care. Till 2014 I was pretty satisfied with ur services .what got into you in these two year.

    In sindhoori building only one lift is working.that too small lift if one wheelchair enters nobody else can get in ...waiting for hours in queue and a wheelchair comes we all are asked to getout .they say total 3 lifts two is repair .just because we are not wheel chair doesn't erase the fact that we are patients.

    Lift under repair is your fault you can't just shout at us for your mistake using words like get out to your customers is a big mistake . It's worse than a government hospital. I make sure I find a better hospital

      Hi sir/madam my father treatment is going on Apollo since 1 year treatment is very good but in blood bank facing many problems when compare to other blood bank
      1:from donors they are talking 450 ml blood and charging more
      2: why the blood bank timings have for donation atleast you should keep up to 9 PM from 9 am to 9 PM
      All blood bankings are taking up to 9 donation
      So please solve the issue
      My problem is in Apollo jublie hills hyderabad

        It is very sad to inform you that my father in law, mr pratul dalal consulted dr mani m k on 3rd may 2016 for ckd. All the previous medicine was also have been asked by doctor and he advised for dialysis/kidney transplantation.But he refused to give any type of prescriptions regarding this and told to consult local nephrologist.

        Being a reputed hospital and world class treatment it is not essential to give prescription that previous medicine should carry on or not and also copy of medical history.

        Only the blood examination report is given to patient party.
        Is it justified case of professional ethics?
        Leaving chennai realising how a world class hospital cheats with patients.

          Hi, Mother was admitted in Apollo Rajshree Hospital, Indore on 10th August-15 & discharged on 11th Aug-15. As it was cashless and as per the Hospital policy I made a security deposit of 5000 Rs which was supposed to refund post 60 days. Now it's been 6 months I'm continuously taking follow up from last 4 months with TPA but each and every time they assure me it will get processed in next 10 days. It's really unbelievable that such a big brand intention seems dicey in money matters.

          Hope after this complaint my issue will get resolved and the amount will get refund asap

              Went to apollo hospitals perungudi for a treatment and asked to pay rs.50, 000 for what s 5000 in other hospitals..our bad v couldnt get any hospitals at tat time near by.. My father who s a govt doctor spoke over phone n enquired the tests needed and questioned them and they surrendered and told they can do for rs. 10, 000 itself.. Then they tried to convince that they are trust worthy n we didn't get convinced n we left after fighting..they couldn't answer to any of my father's questions n felt humiliated..

              They tried to threat with death possibly and got a sign that they are not responsible for death happening on mid at to other hospital.. V signed it immediately to prove that it ll not happen anything lik tat n all went later well..

                I visited Apollo vanagaram for throat pain on 19/12/2015. I was attended by Dr.Ganesh, consultant ENT at around 10.30 AM. He was very rude to me. He would not even let me speak before he comments. I was not told, besides repeated questions what the problem is. I pay money but get no respect. He only said what he wanted to say without my involvement in a rude way. The medicines he prescribed are completely irrelevant to the problem I have.he would not even answer my questions regarding my problem and insisted that he will type out my prescription. We are not fools. I want you to understand. We are more educated than your so called doctors are.Please treat patients with respect, for the money we pay you guys. You are only doctors as long as you can listen to patients problems and explain solutions. I am disappointed in such a service. I would like Dr.Ganesh to know that he is pathetic.

I am writing in response of the patient who is ongoing treatment with Appollo Hopital and recovery chance seems less, risk chance is higher then 99.9 % 1. Patient is remaining in ICU number of times 2. Regular basis diaylisis, had kidney damage 3. Bad services 4. Saline water regular basis . 5. Food pipe infection and food pipe nor recover to inhale and open blocks for food pipe for not having food in regular basis. 6. Bad condition of Rahim khan, cannot recover fully. 7. Since 7 days food and viral infection is ongoing. 8. Chest viral infection, and coughing not curred, anti biotic is not given 9. Payment ongoing regular basis, service is bad & bad . 10. Expedite the medical history of the patient immediately asap. 11. Need patient, recovery. 12. Patient had 4 multi facts of desease: Endocology, nephology, neurology and diabetics, based on new add failure to Kidney.                     Staffs here are lethargic and don't help patients. I did a master health check here and was asked to get the reports next day and provided an appointment for the same. When I came for the same they just took my file and said some one would call you. 3 hours passed and nothing moved. I started cripping and then they asked me to meet the doctor stating they have sent file to the doctor. Irony was doctor clearly gave me appointment time and the staff in counter didn't allow me in. They simply asked me to wait outside again. Out of desperation I asked for my reports and left the hospital without consultation. And no one cared!

                      Hello, my name is Ananth. My father has been admitted at Apollo Hyderabad ( Jubilee Hills Branch). His name is P. Raja Reddy. Right now he is in the cardiology department. He faced a problem due to the recklessness of th Oncology Department. He had faced a serious problem while the staff and the concerning doctor did not even check his status after giving him a medicine called "Venofer". He had breathlessness, allergic and was almost about to faint. Till then not even a single staff responded to him after giving him the medicine when they knew it would have side effects. They did not have the anti dose with them at that situation. Is this the way one of the best hospitals treat a person who was loosing his consciousness? Dont they know that the medicine causes side effects to a cardiac patient? Is this the way you recruit Doctors who are commercial instead of being responsible? At that situation even I was like helpless to see my father who was in normal condition turning unconscious and asking me for help just hardly trying to explain me his chest pain too. I can give you the patient details if you are willing to take an action on the oncology department. Please save human life as its your main duty and responsibility.                           I dont want to describe the whole case as the damage done by them will not be recovered. My family is suffering and may suffer whole life thinking of her.


                          we are normal people, everyone visits a hospital in hope that our beloved ones will be taken care and best treatment will be provided in corporate hospitals like Apollo, but because of their own decision whether we can afford money or not they have delayed surgery, we have paid 10 lakhs for the whole treatement and we may have afford more .

                          but before taking up the case (surgery) they have delayed operation for 18 hrs for brain stroke patient until we reach there and sign the documents, i have taken flight and reached in midnight no doctor is available, they came in the morning and said because of platelet count they have delayed operation for 18 hrs and operation should be done or else she cannot survive, we have signed and the operation is done.

                          If the operation is done in right time, she may not have lost her speech and hand and leg movements.

                          We may not have seen this day, i dont need any help or review from Apollo hospitals saying sorry for the inconvenience caused, Because you are not sorry and you cannot bring back life or can recover the damage .

                          If i posess a gun at that right time, i would have killed the doctor and i will say sorry for the inconvenience caused.


                          My sincere request dont play with lives, everything will end today or tomorrow, life will end, as there is end for world, i hope there will be end for those corporate hospitals who make money on people's life.

                          The exact same thing happened to us in delhi apollo. They are murderers!! My uncle went in for a routine kidney transplant!! He came out dead. He was 55 years old. During the transplant he suffered a brain heammorage and stroke. How we will never know. Anyway took 12 hours for them to do a scan. Then when they said immediate operation must happen we need 3 lakhs. It was 3am. Who he he'll can get 3 lakhs at 3am. Meanwhile his brain is dying!! Managed to arrange only to be operated on at 8am. Declared brain dead 3 days later. They killed my uncle. Surely this justifies shooting the staff. I will also sorry for inconvenience. May they rot in hell. I pray this every day. If it was another country the whole hospital will give a full investigation and compensation. Please do not send your loved one here.

                            My Self Babu Gali, working as IT engineer in Valuelabs, Hyderabad. Last week my mother was facing difficult while breathing. Our local doctors said it is emergency case and need suitable treatment immediately. Then we rushed to Tirupati and there after rushed to Apollo Chennai. Apollo did all kind of test and found that suffering from Nemonia
                            But here problem is they gone to HIV test without our consent. And even they did Swine flu ( even though not suffering from clod), Dengue and some other test also.

                            This kind of treatment alerting me that just kind o[censored]nnecessary treatment which not related to disease.

                            Please advise me What kind of action should take on the doctor or hospital ? And how to do?

                              I am a patient of Dr.J Raja Mahesh, from Chennai Apollo First Med.For the last 5years I am under his supervision.This year I planned to do a telemedicine with Him from Kolkata.As I am having serious disease and due to some mishap happened to my family I couldn't go to Chennai this time to meet my Dr physically. On 29th June I called Mr.SURYA from Apollo telemedicine department to get an appointment.He immediately told me it is not possible due to some issues (issue was.not clearly stated).Though he took my appointment. and confirmed me he will let me know within a week.This week on Monday (6th July)again I called and got to know he did not get doctor 's confirmation yet.As the meeting with the Dr is too much urgent for me I called again on 9th July.this time his reply was a surprise for me, he informed there is an issue going on from Chennai Telemed Depth and he was more than reluctant this time. My husband called up chennai directly and they informed there is no problem going on and telemedicine is working. Not sure how a person can be so reluctant in his job while he is dealing with a patient.And how dare he give a wrong information. I want it to be escalated to higher authority to take proper action on this.

                                It is very disgusting to find a security person at the very entrace stopping and questioning the patients. He qustions with no courtesy by wispers not even by voice for reasons. Should he to question he should with proper manners. T have come to see a neurologist after discharge from Chennai Apollo for further consultation. This posture os security at the entrance is seen as very unwelcome and insulting.                                   I am compelled to write this note because of the disgusting experience i suffered in the hands of Apollo Hyderabad Hospital and its staff. My details for ease of identification are:- a) Name;- ALI FARAJ AWADH b) IPN;- APJI[protected] c) Country;- KENYA d) Admission date;- 6/5/2015 e) Discharge date;- 21/5/2015 I was handed a questionnaire on my departure from the hospital, I concluded the hospital administration is anxious to get a feedback on the services provided. I chose to write at length on the issue perchance it may wake the slumbering giant which is, in my view sleeping on its laurels. My elder brother and his family received excellent service from Apollo Chennai some 7 years ago.He and some other friends believed, erroneous that comparable standards would be encountered at Hyderabad's Apollo.Alas, greed and time have eroded this reputation as many people i have recently talked to expressed dissatisfaction with the services and the charges proffered! I shall now narrate my experience and dissatisfaction . I entered Apollo Hyderabad on 6/5/15 with pleural effusion, a condition which causes fluid to accumulate in the lung region.I consulted a pulmonary specialist at the hospital and what followed discredits the profession. A series of investigations/tests were ordered and it was finally decided that a key-hole surgery to be performed for a biopsy.I was ill-prepared for this as in the course of the surgery, i was turned on the wrong side resulting in the fluid (which should have been drained first) to weigh on the heart causing it to seize. General panic and pandemonium ensued in the theatre;the surgery was aborted and i was resuscitated after a while by the grace of God.Another attempt was tried after a few days of recovery to again obtain the needed biopsy, this time was successful; which landed me again in the SICU for the second time. Unfortunately all the tests and the biopsy results did not come to a conclusive diagnosis. In all, i spent 4 days after the avoidable abortive surgery and another 4 days after the successful one. In total my "mistreatment" at Apollo aggregated to 14 days and i was billed 794, 000 Indian Rupees, unjustifiably, this i wish to contest for the following reasons:- a) I was charged for the 4 days in the SICU because of the neglect of the surgeon who did not ensure that my lungs were adequately ventilated and prepared for the operation.My heart seizure that followed was the direct consequence of this oversight and the abortive operation with its preliminary and post surgery tests were in vain. The charges including those of the SICU resulting from all this avoidable fiasco should have been waived.However, i was saddled thoughtlessly with these charges. b) Casual scrutiny of the bill would reveal an unwarranted, repetitive and multifarious tests that were calculated to buy time for the senior consultant doctor, who preferred, reportedly to deliver academic lectures elsewhere rather that attend expeditiously to the patients. What can he achieve in one minute i may ask? unless this strategy is designed to inflate the bill. Its perhaps not realised that many o[censored]s who travel thousands of kilometres to India searching for medical help irk financing from all possible sources including prevailing upon our relatives.Had we got the resources India is blessed with, we would not subject ourselves to the indignity of begging!! I abhor practices that are patently exploitative. To incur a bill of 794, 000 Rupees within less than a fortnight without a DIAGNOSIS and with profiteering practices is unethical and unfair. Will i recommend Apollo Hyderabad to anyone? the answer is "NO"! I have just met a Tanzanian who was disgusted with Apollo's demand for an exorbitant deposit for the treatment of her sick 'mother'. She was asked to deposit $13, 000. She naturally went some other hospital.We were compelled to get a discharge because of the alarming escalating costs at Apollo.We sought assistance in another hospital and got it.Many others are and will do so if Apollo persists with its APPALLING GREED.The total bill we incurred was 300, 000 Rupees for a period of 10 days with a conclusive diagnosis, surgery and 4 days in the SICU at the other hospital. There are many hospitals in India now with comparable resources but with humane and compassionate treatment of their patients.They do not seem to have the same zeal to maximize the "bottom line" at the expense of their poor international patients. Have i made a case for part refund?? Wake up Apollo!!

                                    Hi My father (UHID: AC01.[protected]) Mr. Krishnan kumar had undergone a Neuro surgery on the right side of his brain on 9th June 2014 at Apollo Specialty Hospital, Teynampet Chennai. Post surgery he was given physiotherapy by Mr. Kumar Shankar who continued the therapy at my home after his discharge for about 5 months, he performed the therapy without using the left hand immobilizer due to which his shoulder has got dislocated, i have report from orthopedic doctor and from other physiotherapists confirming this. I expect the hospital to take remedial measures to rectify this mistake and fix the shoulder also take disciplinary actions against Mr. Kumar Shankar. I expect a speedy action to solve the issue. could you please help to make the hospital liable for this and take remedial actions at the earliest, my father is in distress due to dislocated shoulder.

                                      Hi, I visited the Apollo Clinic, Bellandur yesterday evening (24-Jun-15, 19:30:41) to see the gynaecologist. She prescribed a blood test and urine culture for which I made the payment. After the payment, I was told by the doctor that I can't give the urine sample now for some reasons. She asked me to give the blood sample alone. So, I just gave the blood sample and told the lab technician about the same and asked him to cancel the urine test and refund the amount(Rs 1020/-). He said it can't be cancelled. I went to the receptionist and asked about the same. Even she was saying the same, that they can't refund the amount. She was suggesting that I could get the same test done whenever I want in this test's place. This just doesn't sound logical. Is it for fun that we get some medical investigation done? Why keep my money when they are not doing the test? They are neither refunding my money nor giving me a credit note so that I can use it for any future consultation/ vaccine charges. I have been visiting this clinic for more than 3 years now. Never expected this kind of behavior. They don't give me a logical solution to my problem and then keep the patient (myself) there requesting for refund. Not justified. I request you to kindly refund my money (Rs 1020/-).                                         Apollo hospital, Bangalore is a [censored] up place… money minded doctors, money minded management. They don't care for anything except money and unwanted tests. No progress, no status, no moral support. No one cares if the patient wants something like food or anything. Irresponsible staff. No response or care or respect for the attendees. Slow and late treatments purposefully to add up the bills. They [censored] up with the final bills, adding unwanted, irrelevant medicines, tests etc. Even if some1 has already paid fee for a test, the same test would have been added again in the final bill. So its cheating from day 1 to the billing session. Please be careful guys. Had a pathetic, unpleasant, "never returning to Apollo" experience.

                                        This is true for all Apollo. My patient was admitted in Apollo delhi for liver problems couple of months back. Docs were unable to diagnose the problem. patient was crying in pain and docs used to give sleeping pill to calm the patient. This made the condition of patient worst. AFter that Apollo docs told they r unable to diagnose pls take away ur patient. Patient passed away after 2 days.
