Hi. Am ex physiotherapy student of apollo. So recently i admitted my father for tomography at vijayanand doctor. He charged 4lakh rupee. Ok we paid the amount of 3lakh. And rest money i. E 80, 000. We kept i hold like we have so many sessions so we can pay per eacg session. That money no matter for us. But one fine day suddenly people and doctors over there asked patient to pay 80, 000 on spot they didnt allow this patient to meet doctor. Who is waiting to know the progression and thrn oay the amount but these people over there are really very rude to patient that they made patient to wait without food till 5ocl after his chemotherapy session. How disgusting. And when he asked about i anna know the progression then only i pay means. The junior docto over there said like notjing to say just you pay your bill and go from here. What the hell. Is this are you really a doctor? Is this a hospital? Dnt you know how to take care of critically ill patient who can pay the amount. Disgusting. This hospitsl not serving for patients health its serving just for money its a commercial they need only not health.. Disgusting. Shame on you people. I never reffer a patient to this hospital. Its not a hospital its a graveyard where you people make money of deadbodies. Its very shame. Being a physiotherapist as a doctor from apollo am feeling. Really its disgusting. Shame on your part. If you really care on patient health and respect. I need justicr to this. If it is really a hospital.

    I went to apollo perungudi for knee pain. Took an mri for which they charged me 10 k rupees. The radiologist gave a wrong report stating everything is normal when i had damaged ligaments and bone. 2 senior doctors have confirmed this. One ms. Bony das, guest relations officer did not even apologize hearing my grievance and gave rude replies. I think she got training only to wear makeup and not to treat patients with compassion.
    Note to apollo - you're still surviving because you have some fine doctors. High time to take complaints serious.

      This is with ref. to Appointment ID : 2548, UHID ATHS.[protected].

      I had requested with email consultation with Dr. Samiran Das on 30 April 2017 from your "ASK APOLLO" official apps.

      My appointment was confirmed and for the same I was charged Rs 650.

      After 52 Hours, on 2 May 2017, The Apollo Hospital said that the Concerned Doctor is not available for online consultation.

      As per my request, My appointment was cancelled and I received confirmation email for the same. As per the email, my account should be credited within 7 working days.

      Yet, I have not received my refund. 14 days has been past since my appointment was cancelled.

      I have tried to contact Apollo via phone and email but both were unreachable.

      This is complete case of fraud and misconduct for which I may take extreme action including filling petition in Consumer court.

      So, you are requested to resolve the issue before i approaches the higher authority.

      Note that, I am fully protected by Consumer Court and you cannot be exploited by you.

      If matter is not resolved within 48 hrs, I will inform the matter to public authority as well as print and electronics media beside taking legal measures.

        Doctor consultation bills not provided

        I want all doctor consultation bills should have printed copy with bill / receipt number, apollo logo design, consultation amount details as apollo receipt format.

        This caused my life so frustration for getting insurance reimbursement and all claims are rejected

        please do immediate action to get apollo receipts printed for all consultation bills - no payment slip is accepted in mediassist (tcs) health insurance...

        Attitude of Apollo Hospital, Kadapara (Salt lake) is only money making not to cure patient.

        Whether is it possible maximum patient of said hospital is under comma and they took out in seance with in 7-10 after making money as much as possible from their relative / guardian. I think that they are doing or give medicine dose to patient for not come out of comma before 7-10 days.

        You are requested to take necessary action against them.

          Dialysis machine stops in between. Water of b part ends in between so that dialysis stops before time on 02.04.2017 despite being highly paid hospital. Technicians belongs to a special class of religion so they over hear the problems of others and makes the patient wait for more than hours in the lobby or on the bed. Many patients came there with more than one attendant it make a chaos for the sitting chair for the attendant of other patient. Some times technicians and other staff members used these chairs. It's highly ridiculous and shameful. Special treatment is given to the special class of religious patient. Technicians used to set the u f goal without consultation of the nephrologist which creates problem to the patient. There is no uniform rule. Some patients used to get special meals on seeing there faces and some patients were told that time is over. During early and late hours there is problem of house keeping staff. Patient and attendant has to call for the staff many times for the problems. Shameful despite being highly charged hospital. For non invasive procedure patient had to wait in the procedure room for hours for the doctor to induce catheter on the person of the patient despite being charged double from other hospitals. Shameful. This not that hospital that it was in 2008 and jan 2016. Now a days it is the hospital that you pay double from others and move like a pendulum in the hospital. Donor for rrt has to wait for hours for his or her clearance because sometimes doctor absconds without any information and the is with the assistant also as if you are in the government hospital. Total harassment. When you come here early in the morning you cannot go before late evening. If you feel hungry than pay as if you are in the five star hotel not in the hospital. For drinking water you have to pay. There is no facility of subsidised canteen for the attendants. Shamedul. It is a five star hotel not a hospital.

            Am Mukesh, am a structural engineer, yesterday (02/05/2017) i visited with my pregnant wife '' R.Kavitha to ''Apollo Hospitals, Tondiarpet, Chennai-600081., for a emergency scanning. i made all the payments for scanning and other tests initially when we entered at the time of 9:45am as first patient for the scanning and we informed several time to the hospital staffs. They doesn't care about the emergency persons and the behaving like a chatterbox with co-staffs like a illiterate fellows, even illiterates may know the emergency aspects.
            we waited more than 2.5 hours on that scanning section. know one cares about the emergency patients, after the voice of all patients only the staffs get on the their work and but the never apologize for their fault.

            For Blood test (hemoglobin) they collected 360 INR, but on other laboratory the collecting just 70 INR for it. The collection 5 times extra cost for all tests. We never care about money, while on emergency. But the attention for emergency to be presence, but the staffs never behave like a Hospital staffs and behaving like a Fish market peoples.

            The presentation of reports are also worst, On all Scanning centers scan reports are furnishing with file. but these provided as like provision list paper.

            I have enclosed the supporting documents and for consideration.

              Why is apollo charging money only because cabs are coming inside to pick up customers?? We don't even have to park the cab. Is this the values you hold? Taking advantage of people in need??

              This should be free basic right to consumers. You cannot charge money simply because cabs are coming to pick up near main entrance near the temple. Parking charges are still understandable.

              Please resolve the issue and make this facility free as before on humanitarian grounds.

                Hi, It is very sad that being a well known hospital and considered to be one of the best can act so reckless regarding patient details and accomplish process. My father had undergone a bypass surgery on 27th of December in Hyderabad, jublee hills hospital, however part of it is supposed to cover under insurance under cashless, for which we received approval and my father discharged. however the insurance company is not able to settle the amount as the request for various documents sent to Apollo were not furnished.
                Now as per Apollo negligence, insurance amount was not cleared, so it becomes Apollo responsibility to take care of the burden.

                  My uncle was referred for joining at Apollo, Jubilee Hills. as it's a higher center. But, all I'm able to sense is the total lack of communication between the doctor and patient's attendants even with the patients daughter. And all that is happening looks like that they're just trying to keep themselves safe from any negligence law suit.
                  We need ACTION IN TIME.

                    On My 9th 2016, my late father Dr. Ranen Biswas was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Kolkata with an infection for which he was being treated with antibiotics which didn't check the infection. He was admitted to a hospital where he had some respiratory issues but the doctors helped to stablize him. They suggested that he be taken to Apollo which was better equipped to handle such issues.

                    Hi i had visited the endocrinologist n my appointment was confirmed. However, secretary named Nancy told us that the concerned doctor would not see me as i had seen another endocrinologist is Apollo and this was the rule. How would i know. Patients should be made comfortable and ill treated like this. Extremly rude in her behaviour n Litterally shouted at me saying u can see another doctor.

                        I Harsh Agarwal while visiting Apollo Clinic, salt lake, Kolkatta on 27/3/2017, for consultancy with Dr SACHIN VERMA, MD Dermatology. While on consultancy, he was constantly more focused towards his smartphones, playing with it and using it almost 2/3rd the time of visit, while i gave the history . The proffesionalism in his attitude toards me was totally careless. That said, his fees at clinic is 900b rupees, which should be refunded. The careless docor should be sacked before he furthur damage the reputation of apollo clinics .

                          HI Apollo Hospitals,

                          My name is Barath Kumar, currently working in Chennai. Recently I went a medical test for immigration for visa initiation. I need to share the experience I faced and my opinion.

                          I underwent the test and was asked to come next day to collect the results. When I came to collect my results next day, the medical team said “you need to undergo another test” so that your results will be clear. I came in office timings and suddenly they asked me to take the test without any prior notice and was asked to come on next day to collect the results.

                          Next day I was unable to come but the very next day I got a call from a doctor in immigration-visa processing department saying ” there is some patch in your lung so you need to have a CT scan which shows clearly what it is “ . But when I asked about what is the result and the issue, there was no clear explanation given to me and only thing I was compelled is to take CT. Your Medical team said only if I take a CT scan, I will be able to get my results otherwise I won’t get it.

                          Again they asked me come in office timings and underwent a CT which cost nearly Rs.10500 INR. Even during CT scan I was asked to undergo only CT plain they said everything is clear I can go. Again after 2 hours they called and asked me to come immediately and was to undergo another CT . Why can’t you do your process properly and correctly ? Why I was first told everything is fine and asked to go and again asked to come for sudden test ? Is this hospital which treats patients or center to undergo test on people for money ?

                          I spent nearly Rs.12000 INR and got the CT scan results and again went to the doctor. The results states some healings of a disease when I don’t even have. The doctor knows everything is fine, but again she asked to consult with a chest physician. I asked the immigration doctor what is the problem, what is the cause, what should I do and many but nothing was answered. There was no proper explanation and treatment/suggestions given for the tests I have undergone. Again I was told like only after the chest physician consults, I will be able to get my visa- medical test results . Why should I consult a doctor other than immigration department which I am not interested and not needed ? Why can’t a immigration doctor can’t look into this which is supposed to be her job ? The immigration doctor only asked me to consult another doctor in your hospital itself.

                          Again in office timings I was asked to come to consult another doctor. Even at that point of time I was asked to pay Rs.1000 which was not even told before. I paid and consulted the doctor. The moment she saw my results she dint say anything about the issue and she started to saying something and again she asked me saying I have to undergo another set of tests. When I asked why I have to take the tests and what is the problem her answer was “I don’t know”. The only thing she was saying is either I have to undergo the tests or I won’t get this process done. I asked again and again what is the problem, and my queries her only answer was “I don’t know, I don’t know”. Just to say this two dialogues why should I pay Rs.1000 for consulting ? Is this a consulting ? Is this how a patient gets treated in your hospital ?

                          Why can’t a doctor answer what patient needs to know and simply just relay on tests ? There is no proper process defined in your hospital.

                          Now my problem is not about my visa processing, but why can’t a process and proper guidance give to a patient properly by doctors ? Is this how your doctors treat the people who come for treatment to your hospital.
                          Most important thing I consulted another doctor outside Apollo, I got a clear picture and was properly informed I am completely alright. Even I have the test results taken . Now which test results I have to believe ?
                          Your hospital results says there is problem in me and doctors saying to have many tests. If you say there is some problem why can’t you treat a patient properly. My another hospital results says I am alright. Now which one I have to believe ? I am not interested in saying the names of those two doctors.

                          I am not the only guy who has suffered from this. There some more people who faced your same politics.
                          Why can’t you consider people as patients instead of treating them as money making machine ?

                            Regarding help..
                            I am from ahmadabad. My grand mom age 64 she is suffering from carcinoma of cervix stage iiib. We had done 29 radiation and 7 chemo, brachytherapy for cure to them in apollo hospital g’nagar, ahmedabad, gujarat. Under dr. Akash shah in cbcc oncology dept for 1 year. She got the side effect lot she lose her hair, she got the problem of rectoviganial fistula. Even she got brain strock in last month. She lost her right side of body. All dr. Raise their hands and said we cannot help you out in this situation for improvement.
                            Our family is in too trouble don’t know what to do further. We want to save baa anyhow. We heard about dr. Krishna on net about cancer healer centre and their emmunotherapy. We visit their and took six boxes of medicine whatever they provide. They told put the liquid and mix with water. And take another medicines 4 times in one day and finished one box in 5 day. It is cost around 25000 rs/- we put trust on their and did blindly whatever they asked to do. Event not take the bills and prescription as they don’t provide us. And signed the sympathy letter whatever they provide us. Plz suggest about this centre is worth working or not?                               I am 35 year old, unmarried single man, i stay in Hyderabad
                              i was having swelling and pain in my right leg feet so i went to Apollo emergency hospital, Hyderabad branch, Hyderabad on Feb 16, 2017. "I was advised by doctor to take treatment in hospital, so i have taken as inpatient .I joined general ward. . i was not given proper treatment, The staff looks so unprofessional and bad. The doctor name was Arshad and he wrote diagnostic tests, iv injections . I was advised to join for treatment, so i got admitted in general ward, so i was given IV injections as prescribed. The nurse who gave the injections was julie . The nurse was rude and she pricked the right arm rudely to put the injection tube, she was not professional and lacked experience in nursing techniques.
                              The staff who gives water, food were also unclean and unprofessional. The food given was not sufficient. So, i had to get food from outside.

                              I was also visited by foot surgeon dr.srinivas on day 3 and he said that he will give bandage but they never cleaned the wound and they did not put bandage. so, i rate apollo hospital 1 out of 10.

                              The days I was there in hospital was from 16Feb, 17 feb, 18 feb, 19 feb, so i got discharged as i requested them to discharge me.
                              i felt bad as in this 21st century when people are landing in mars, moon we have hospitals charging huge amounts as my bill was huge . i came out of apollo hospital, hyderaguda thinking that this apollo hyderabad hospital is very bad in delivering service.

                                Subject: Medical negligence causing death of my Husband Late K Rabindranath and excessive pricing for the coronary stents

                                Dear Sir/ Madam,

                                On January 11, 2017 my husband aged 75 years retired as Assistant executive engineer electrical in the year 2000 complained of mild pain in the chest and was admitted in the emergency ward of Apollo Hospital. He was examined by the team of doctors and was advised to undergo angiography. Thereafter based on angiographic findings, my husband was advised to undergo angioplasty immediately and 3 coronary stents and 1 Ballon stent were advised to be implanted to open the arteries. Before carrying out the angioplasty procedure the doctors who carried out the angiography suggested us to go for the drug-eluting stent with a cost of Rs. 1, 15, 000 excluding taxes for each coronary stent. We were assured that the patient will recover within 3 days and accordingly a package of approximately Rs. 5, 00, 000 excluding taxes for the procedure was decided. Though we resisted and did not intend to go for such high priced stents we were informed that such drug eluting stents will last for more than 10 years in comparison to the other coronary stents, though the attending doctors had the idea of other complication my husband was suffering from. In view of the recent notifications by the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority and newspaper articles on excessive pricing of stents we requested the doctors to reconsider the price. However all our prayer went in vain and we were informed that there would not be any revision in pricing. We were threatened that the procedure will be aborted in absence our concurrence to go for the high priced stents. Having acceded to such high headedness by the doctors we had no option but to succumb to pressure tactics of the attending doctors.

                                Post Angioplasty procedure due to negligence and lack of professional experience of the attending doctors my husband started suffering from fever, resulting in deterioration of health condition which ultimately became serious resulting in death of my husband on February 04, 2017. Meanwhile my husband was subjected to multiple tests without any recourse which was purely with an intention to add to the revenues of the hospital.

                                Without prejudice to my rights and remedies to challenge, as evident from the events I allege that the whole procedure was carried out with an intention to defraud us by charging excessive price for the coronary stents and Angioplasty procedures.

                                Since I suffered unnecessarily, I would like the attending doctors and nurses to be reprimanded for negligence and would seek refund of the excessive price charged for the coronary stents and towards the Angioplasty procedure and adequate compensation for the medical negligence and mental agony.
                                I would request you to carry out a full investigation into my concerns and provide a suitable response in a timely manner and take immediate steps to improve the conditions so that other patients will not undergo such torture and harassment in an organization of your repute.

                                  I have waiting for report for more than 2hours in report delivery section but the report delivery person asked us to wait for sometime more. They are not responding to me by when I will get my report. Every time I asked to them they asked me to stand in queue but it meaningless if report not reached to the counter. Very hopeless persons are appointed there in the report delivery counter.

                                    I took my grand son on 09.02.17 to Appollo Speciality hospitals, Nellore, AP to consult Pediatrician, Dr.Rupa at around 3.30 PM, as he was suffering from cold and diper rashes.All the time when she was observing the patient she was talking on mobile phone, which is highly objectionable. When she was observing children she shoud have common sense to keep aside cell phone. The concerned Doctor should be warned not to repeat such grave mistakes when she observes child patients.
