I had transferred from my Axis bank Account Rs. 17,000.00 to bank of India ‘account name: Kajal S Sheth, Account Number: [protected], bank id: BKID0002009’ yesterday on April 6, 2011.

The actual account to which money was to be transferred was [protected], account name: Kajal S Sheth’, but I made an error and sent to a wrong account number. the mistake was entering [protected] INSTEAD OF [protected].

However, I immediately realised the error and my father in Ahmedabad went to the Navrangpura Branch of Bank of India and explained the whole problem. Now it seems that the amount has been transferred to the wrong account already.

The lady at the counter in bank of India was not even willing to look into this and just ignored my father and refused to help us. This is a little bad as she could have immediately recalled the money. Now we have no idea whom to go to and how to resolve this issue and get our money back.

We will really appreciate if you can look into this matter on an urgent basis and get the Bank of India to recall this amount immediately. I am attaching a word file with details of transfer.

    Dear Sir,
    I Have heard about your service in which you can provide your good help those who needs . With best and good hope I can take this step to have your kind support.
    The brief story of the incident of forgery committed in my Savings Bank account is as under:-
    I, Prabha Kiran, the holder of account with Bank of India, Dilshad Garden Branch, Delhi . An unauthorized withdrawals of Rs 26,789.19 (Rs Twenty Six thousand Seven Hundred Eighty Nine & Nineteen Paisa only) from my Saving Bank A/C through ATM transaction/internet banking during the period between 26/02/2010 to 01/03/2010.

    I brought this fact to the knowledge of the Branch Manager concerned on
    3rd , March.2010 immediately on coming to know of the above fact, which came to my knowledge at the time of getting my Bank Pass Book completed at Bank Of India, Dilshad Garden Branch. It was quite shocking & I surprising to note that the aforesaid amount had been mischievously withdrawn from my aforesaid account. I could not imagine how this could happen since my ATM card is very much intact with me & I have never used Internet Banking service in respect of my aforesaid Bank A/c, nor I have ever activated such facility.

    That the Manager of the Bank has not taken any satisfactory action on my complaint nor did he informed me about the action taken or efforts made by him to retrieve my valuable amount and credit the same to my account till date despite repeated visits to the branch personally as well as telephonic requests and writing of letters.

    It seems that someone who is involved in issue o[censored]ser ID & password for internet Banking is behind these unauthorized transactions or there is some organized gang involved who passes on secret information to such bad elements to enable them to commit such crimes in the ATM/internet banking system of Bank Of India which needs to be investigated properly.
    You are, therefore requested to kindly look into the matter and the matter investigated at the earliest so that the culprits could be apprehended and brought to book at the earliest, so that such incidents do not occur in future.
    I shall be grateful to you if you could kindly get my hard earned money back at the earliest possible and credit the same to me.
    However, in this connection a complaint has also been lodged with police station, SEEMA PURI as advised by the Bank Manager.

    I am not satisfied with the help of RBI because they do nothing and the Manager of the Bank was also not given any of his support in this matter . So please if you tell me what are the right procedures of complaints for getting my hard earned money back . I hope you will take necessary action against the culprists of Bank Of India, Dilshad Garden, Branch Manager or Authority, if you need any kind of information please send it through mail on my E-mail ID i.e [protected]@yahoo.com .

    not receiving SMS alerts for some transactions

          Respected Sir,
          I am having an account with SBI Lakhajiraj Road, Rajkot with ATM card facility. On 1.7.2009 i visited BOI Rajkot branch ATM to withdraw money. But the txn could not done, however my a/c No.[protected] was debited without giving money to me. After vigourouse efferts my above a/c credited with the withdrawn amount on 11.08.2009 after 41 days. So I have applied for the penalty as per the RBI directives, that if the settlement can notbe done within 12 days, customer is to be paid penalty per day Rs.100/=. I send a letter to BOI as well as SBI for the same, but till the date result is yet to come. Lastly by sending a mail to BOI authorities on 04.01.2011, they instruct to contact SBI Bank for getting the penalty. SBI says thay BOI has to pay the penalty. In this situation, I could not get the required result after such long long time. Therefore, you are kindly requested to plz. take up the matter and do the needful at the earliest possible.             I (Aditya Kashyap) have purchased 100 share of Bank of India in 1997 when first public issue was open. Bank of India issued physical share at that time and i have not dematerlised yet. Meantime the physical share is not with me. I have lost my physical share.

            Could you please let me know how can i get the physical share so that i can convert it into electronic form.?

            Any suggestion will highly appreciated.

                I am operating a saving bank (Pension) account with boi morar with A/c No 17329.since 01 Mar 1999. my DA allces are not being paid by my banker on disability pension inspite of clear instructions from CDA(Pension) allahabad and RBI India sixth pay importent circulars issued to all the PDA accordingly.Please do the need full.

                  BANK OF INDIA Atm faliure and money wrongly debited from my account
                  Sir ,I m 60 years old senior citizen .On 7/6/2009 i withdrew rs 3000 from atm of bank of india located at gulomohar colony bhopal but amount was not been given out by the atm machine but it was debited to my account since then on 8/6/2009 i filed an application for credting my account by said amount .The emplooyes of the bank said they will take action and it will be credited within two days. After two days they said the mater is taken by mumbai office and u r money will credited soon .After repeated verbal complaints to branch manger on 27/3/2010 i filed complaint again to bank but still there is no solution for my problem .I m old women and this money maters a lot to me .i m asking about the principle amount and they still say u will get 100 per day as a charges and making me fool .I m feeling very bad about the BANK OF INDIA. emloyeeswho came to my home to open my account for making there branch full of accounts when they had few accounts and they r were new at this localty.Help me in getting my hard earned money back.

                    My name is Binod Kumar Sha. I made an online transaction of Rs 500 my brothers account on 17th Sept 2010. Until now the money has not shown up in his account. I called up the customer service for Bank of India and was asked to call the NEFT desk at[protected] . I called this number and then i was asked to send an email with details at email address boi.[protected]@bankofindia.co.in and service.[protected]@bankofindia.com . I have send multiple email to the department and the money is still not credited . I call the desk and no one picks up the phone. I have the RBI transaction number.

                      I have remitted funds from Bank of India account by net banking through NEFT for PPF accounts at SBI Nagpur on 03.04.2010 (11.54 AM). Since 03.04.2010 was Saturday, the said transaction should have been accounted on 05.04.2010. However the transactions were uploaded in the system on 06.04.2010 (9.00AM Batch), instead of 05.04.2010 and it had reached SBI on 06.04.2010 (3.00 PM). As the beneficiary PPF accounts were credited on 06.04.2010, they have lost interest for the month of April 10, which also has a compounding effect over the years. This inordinate delay was caused by negligence from Bank of India. As this fund was raised by premature closure of fixed deposit, I have incurred losses on both fronts.

                      When I raised complaint to Bank of India and demanded fair compensation, they refused to compensate me stating reason of delayed credit due to absence o[censored]sual means of communication as such in terms of Bank’s Compensation Policy; they would not be able to consider my claim for compensation.

                        When We went For Loan to Bank of India, The past Manager Ram Nath Chhabra asked to buy a policy of Dai Ichi company to be eligible to get a loan. We don't know how much commission he got from Ahuja because Ahuja was supposed to get one-third of the premium for first 3 years.

                        Everybody is advised to check the credential of managers before taking loan. There should be a website which also tells rating of Bank managers and loan givers so that one can know the 'extortion' ranking.

                          I have visited the Bank of India, Ghansoli Branch for a mortage laon as same was required for the immediate payment to be made in the hosptial for my dad who was undergoing a Bypass surgery.

                          The Bank Manager was so irresponsible & was not at all supportive & mentioned as there a no staff in the bank, so this will take some & asked to give all my documents which i have provided immediately & he said that he will get back to me.

                          But there were no respone from him regarding this loan will happen or no, i use to continoulsy call him as i required the amount very urgently in the hosptial.

                          I then again tried to call him & he said that it will not happen & kept the phone without intimating any reason for same. I then visited the Branch & asked for my documens which i had given & that bank Manger had not even passed my document & was just lying in his cupboard.

                          My whole family is having an account with this branch, but this person was able to help a bit & just gave my documents without any explanation.

                          I told him several times that i require it for the immediate hear surgery of my father but he was not bother, buzy on his phone not understanding the problem which the people are going.

                          Kindly help us in this regard & see what can happen & see that something some happen.

                            I HAVE A SB ACCOUNT IN BANK OF INDIA. MY ACCOUNT IS WITH RAVI BHAVAN BRANCH. I HAD DEPOSITED AN ICICI BANK CHEQUE IN MY ACCOUNT FOR CLEARING ON 23-07-10 IN DEVENDRA NAGAR BRANCH. IN ICICI BANK ACCOUNT IT SHOWS THE CHEQUE HAD BEEN CLEARED ON[protected] BUT IN MY ACCOUNT IT SHOWS UN-CLEARED. AFTER CONFIRMING IN THE BRANCH THEY TOLD ME IT WILL BE CREDITED IN YOUR ACCOUNT ON 28-07-10 AFTER 12.30 PM.

                            I KNOW THERE FALLS A SATURDAY & SUNDAY IN BETWWEN THE CLEARING DAYS AND IT IS NATURAL TO TAKE TIME FOR CLEARING, BUT WHEN IN ICICI BANK IT SHOWS THE CHEQUE HAS BEEN CLERED WHY BANK OF INDIA IS TAKING TIME IN CREDITING TO MY ACCOUNT.

                              I have withdrawn Rs. 5000/- from the ATM at mahananda nagar on[protected] Tr Id CWDR//983003/CUJ9001. But I could get only 4500/- Rs from the machine. There was no any facility to get receipt from machine. I complained the next very day to the branch but no action has been taken so far to refund the amount. I have contacted personally so many times to the bank but it was told me that the action is due from the Bombay office.

                                Dear Sir/Madam,
                                Subject: Wrong debits from Savings A/c no.*********** thru Global Debit cum
                                ATM Card no.************* on February 17th, 2010.

                                This is to inform you that, Bank of India, Stock Exchange Branch has wrongly debited my Salary Account amounting to Rs. 26893/- on February 18th, 2010. The Chief Manager states that it is an International Transaction (Cash Withdrawal from ATM) & ChargeBack claims are successful, hence they will not be able to reverse the amount to me.

                                I have not travelled overseas nor made any international transactions & the ATM Card is blocked & with me.The Bank has not provided proper security/software/data to protect my card & information has been leaked thru the banks outsourcing agents or their ATM Cell.

                                I request you to please look into this matter & ask the bank to credit the proceeds to my account with interest immediately.

                                  Myself Ashish Diwate resident of sangli. i have account in Bank of India, Sangli branch. I use their ATM cum Debit Card. on 4th August 2009 i used that card in D-Mart shopee sangli. i swiped that card two times but money dint get transferred to the account of shopee. the amount of bill is 1186.69Rs. and i swiped card for two times so total amount is Rs.2373.38.

                                    I was shocked when a Clerk at the Cash Counter of Bank of India, Mumbai Main Branch, M G Road, Mumbai, refused to give me small denomination notes in lieu of three five hundred rupee notes dispensed by ATM. The reason given was it was against the bank's rule and I should get the Manager's permission if I wanted change. Even after saying that I had two accounts with Bank of India, the clerk Kusum did not give change. Her companion clerk sitting at the other counter gave me fifty and hundred rupee notes for two five hundred rupee notes.. I told the Manager that I wanted to close all my accounts with Bank of India, if there was a rule not to give small denomination notes in exchange for money dispensed by ATM. The clerk was reprimanded for her behaviour.

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      This to bring to your notice the Rude and Rough Behavior of the employees of Bank of India (Branch Details : Malad (E) Mumbai -400097). The Behavior of the employees serving at this branch has crossed the limits. Customers are treated as if they are servants of the bank. Employees at this branch are in a illusion that they are the only people who have work load and most busy in this world and all others(customers) are totally free and have no work in life. I understand the pressure because of year ending. But it is common for everyone. It is not restricted to employees of Bank of India Malad(E). I being customer expect at least some respect and also some service from the bank employees.
                                      The moment you ask something from them they start shifting the responsibility on one and other or start grumbling they dont have time. They keep on saying "humare pass time nahi hai, Tode din baad anna" to every customer. I have visited almost everyday till today from start of this year and that too twice everyday but still I am not able to get what I want. Is this what we expect from the bank employees. I understand it might not be possible at peak hours but it is possible before closing hours or on some day. I have decided that if I dont get a good response from these people soon I will definitely shift my accounts to some other bank. I hope you understand the precious time and energy we need to invest at our workplace. If we continue to loose time and energy for these issues then we cannot concentrate on our work and also remain disturbed because of such behavior. I hope you will take some appropriate action to bring things and employees behavior to normal state.

                                        I open joint account in Bank of india A.B road branch with my father and requested for net banking facility.
                                        they allow me to use net banking and provide me user name and password but in the profile details they mention my father mobile no. this account fully operated by me and hence i submitted a application to branch regarding change personal detail to my cell no but they are not change my cell no in my profile tab.
                                        When i contact branch manager he told me he was not able to change it by him self in branch i have to contact customer care for net banking profile updated.
                                        When i contact customer care they told me i have to contact in my branch for profile update when i again contact to branch manager he told me he was not able to update it you have to close your account from this branch.
                                        Even in the bank web site they show demo of net banking where user will change/ update his/her profile details but in real life it not working it seem to be read only mode.
                                        Then what i have to do..
