1) The product was faulty since the beginning, as the mic never worked.
2) To claim warranty, at our own cost, the faulty product was shipped to their works, Exotic Mile, Azadpur Ind. Area, Delhi. They sent another one.
3) The other product was even more unusable. It had two problems now instead of one. Its mic wasn't working at all like before. And, its 3.5 mm jack was loose.
4) This company is just an importer of Chinese goods. And, is neither competent nor resourceful enough to resolve the issues.
5) Many of X1 wired handsets have similar problems. Almost all the negative reviews on Flipkart are about generic microphone defect. There is a chance that this defect doesn't often get reported since many users only hear the music, and never use the mic.
6) Overall verdict: cheap Chinese product seller with no ethics.
