As I m aware thta if a govt official is not in uniform means he is not on duty, but a traffic official standing near PARA regiment JC Nagar taking the pictures on mobile as he is standing without uniform. He is not holding any authority to take pictures when he not in uniform.

I have been unnecessarily an amount of ₹1000 for my 2 wheeler scooter activa(KA04HE5079) on 14th July 2021 at 1:50pm. Even though I dint use phone while riding I have been fine for not even making an offense of the traffic rules . And it simply says as fined on bases of digitab without any proof.

My scooter was wrongly towed by the Mico Layout Traffic Police Station on 19th September 2021.

When I asked for the reason for towing, I was told that I had parked my scooter at the "footpath". I asked them the photograph of my vehicle on the footpath. While checking the photograph, it was found that my vehicle was not parked at the footpath.

After that I asked them that I want to file a complaint against it, to which no one helped me. They told me to talk to their Traffic Officer. I had to wait more than half an hour for him to come. (contrarily my scooter was towed within a few minutes, I had parked)

Next reason they provided was that it is a "No Parking Area", to which I replied that there was no board of No parking at all. They took me to that area, wherein we found that the No Parking board was present but its face was towards the footpath, thus no one was able to see that there is even a board. (I have attached two images for your reference, showcasing the No Parking Board.)

I asked the towing people how will anyone see that there is a board when its towards the footpath and not towards the road. They obliged that their was a mistake from there side.

Third reason they gave me that parking is not allowed at the Main road, so on that they booked a challan amounting to Rs. 1178.00.

I even asked the Traffic Officer for the rules to which he said check on "Google". While searching on google I dint find any such rule. I even asked them to provide a rule book/guidelines related to towing so that I can follow it in future, to which no one helped me. They simply kept on saying check google.

I even asked them to let me file a complain, to which no one helped me. They kept on threating to increase the challan if I don't pay the amount.
I am filing the complain here as I request for help against such acts.
I felt I was harassed for no reason. Further, we also should have some basic rules or guidelines to the general public related to towing of vehicle so that such acts can be stopped, as public awareness is very less related to this topic.

I further request for refund for the the challan which I had to pay to get my scooter back and I want to file a complaint against those towing people and traffic officer for a harassment case.

My Challan No. is A/31/1248/66031, amounting to Rs.1178/-
I hope a complaint can be filed here, if not please let me know where exactly I can do it.

My vehicle number is KA05HQ8761 (Access125: Black). I have registered this vehicle in 2011. I received a notice from RTO for without helmet fines from the other vehicle and When I crossed check the image from website I found different make and model vehicle with same number plate. Request you to please check attached snapshots of other vehicle and please help me to close my challans

I have been charged a fine for no reason and this is not the first time. The entire traffic system is incorrect and they are charging fine for no reason. This time it is for No entry fine Rs.500/- and i have evidence to prove this. I had paid Rs.1000/- for No parking which showed up on 1st August on the "Traffic Fine Checker Bangalore" which i paid. At that there was no other fine and it was clear after that. Yesterday i am seeing a fine of Rs.500/- for No Entry on 1st July. There is no picture to support this as well. How is this possible as i have never gone on oneway or no entry.I have attached the pics of fine and my Google payment done on 1st August.

This needs a serious investigation as citizens are being penalized for no reason. I trust i will get justice as i can rest assure i have not violated the rule

My vehicle number is KA01HV0653 (Access125: Blue). I have registered this vehicle in 2017. I received a notice from RTO for without helmet fines around 4900 rupees and When I crossed check the image from website I found different two vehicles with same number plate. (Activa: white & XL super Luna). Can same number be allotted to 3 different vehicles? I have my vehicle documents with me. Request you to please check attached snapshots of other vehicles and take immediate action on it.

I parked my Vehicle infront of a complex near Ud restaurant ... It is not a no parking are. Still they towed my vehicle... With no food ( lunch time) I have to run to station.
Then I have to wait for paying online payment for more than 30 mins.

I have been fined on 14th sept 2020 for using mobile phone while driving. This I got to know today itself otherwise I would have raised this concern earlier. I was not in Bangalore during that time. Then how can I violate a rule. when I checked in Karnataka one it shows notice no 34819289 and doesn't show any Violation images. So This is not a valid fine. My car has been issued a notice for defective number plate in January 2021 while my number plate is same as the governament specified IND number plate (notice no:[protected], the number plate is the same from past 11 years and there was no problem to anyone, what is the problem suddenly ? and i have checked the digitab image as well, my car isnt even present in the particular image which has been uploaded in the digitab evidence picture, stop unnecessarily and illegally fining for no violations

Today I got a call from my wife as she is pregnant and she got some urgency to see doctor, when I was at Goraguntepalya. So I took my bike which was there at my friend's house, and that bike I kept with my friend during lockdown and started travelling from Goraguntepalya to electronic city via outer ring road. When I reached Nagavara, the police were waiting with interceptor to check speeds and I was driving in the speed of 66 kmph and they caught me and asked 1000 rupees of fine for the same. When I gave that 1000 rupees amount to police, he has given 500 rupees back to me without giving receipt. I didn't asked about the receipt as I was in hurry. Then I reached at JP Nagar 6th phase under pass at 12.28PM and again the traffic police were waiting with interceptor to check speeds of the vehicles, I was travelling with the speed of 61 kmph and they caught me over there due to excess speed. The police asked me of 1000 rupees fine, I told them that, I am travelling on some hospital emergency and that too I paid the over speed fine near Nagavara, but they haven't given me the receipt. The person who is sitting in the interceptor vehicle and watch for vehicles speed, he talked to me very rudely and I told him that travelling on hospital emergency, but he didn't listen my words and warned me that you can complaint wherever you want but I will not leave you. You have to pay the fine and go and you are all telling me [censored] and I don't leave you, like that he said. My wife keep calling me to go hospital as the doctor will leave at 1.30 pm. He and his team collecting 100/200 rupees with rest of the people and sending them. Only few people are paying whole fine amount and he kept waiting me there almost 1 hour. All the time has gone there with waiting and my wife went alone to the hospital. Now tell me, where is the honest?? I honestly told him everything but he denied my words and wantedly kept waiting me for 1 hour. The money is going into their pockets inspite of government. If the police itself do like that, then the public to whom will raise their concerns. I don't know what to say about this incident.

I have been fined on Oct 08 2020 for using mobile phone while driving. This I got to know today itself otherwise I would have raise concern earlier. Because of this pandemic situation, I was not in bangalore itself during that time. Then how can I violate a rule. I only drive my bike and nobody else has keys for it. I have a proof that I was in my hometown which is maharashtra during those days. If bangalore traffic police have any photo of me or my bike on that day then they can show it.

I am Thomas C J. having a scooter with number KA51HM6160. When I checking my traffic fine i am getting 4000 rupees fine. And I going through the details so many showing the reason RIDER NOT WEARING PROTECTIVE HEAD GEAR and PILLON NOT WEARING PROTECTIVE HEAD GEAR.. But in my knowledge I didn't travel anytime without helmet, and not taken any second passenger my back. Even the time of not riding it showing the fine. example violation date 01/04/21. time 15.52. description ; RIDER NOT WEARING PROTECTIVE HEAD GEAR. same date and time PILLON NOT WEARING PROTECTIVE HEAD GEAR fine showing. but that date and time my vehicle not on the road. what should I do to remove this fines? please help me. thanks

Traffic cops at near viveknagar infant Jesus church .
They are checking traffic violation right at the signal.
Caused traffic jam right at the signal by stopping vehicles. This lead to slow moving traffic.
Fined us because we were half way to pass the signal .And due to they had stopped vehicles abruptly right at the signal .
They fined Our vehicle for signal jump
But traffic at the junction was very slow because they had stopped vehicles

What kind of a system
is this a way to make money to fill your treasure.
They are tricking public to pay fine

My Honda Activa was parked in "Parking Car" area on CMH road close to Lotus Diagnostic Lab on 12 Feb 21 at 1810 hrs approximately. The area had already been occupied by construction bricks and was unusable for traffic. The vehicle was parked between the tree and brick layout.

I returned after approximately 20 min and found that it had been towed away. I went to the area behind BDA building where all the towed vehicles were parked. I paid the fine of Rs.1650/- immediately on reaching and drove the vehicle away in the night and parked it in my locked garage.

On 15 Feb 21, while using the vehicle for commuting to office, I found the vehicle heavily scratched on both sides.

The vehicle was purchased on Jun 2019 and had been used only by me and has been maintained well

I have been notified for traffic violations with notice number-
36010794 and 35987472 both dated on 16th nov 2020, 12:17pm.
the owner of the bike is a student. 16th nov falls on monday and in these corona pandemic student was attending online classes.

We r driving bike that time traffic police r stooped and simply putting the file not only me for everyone who and all stooped putting simply 100rs 500rs then again next signal one more police stooping bike this is for Like one one signal coupon collecting methods

I have parked my two wheeler beside VR mall KA01 HQ 5016 Bengaluru today evening just outside post office and went inside post office for some work, mean while the TOW people came and took the vehicle and levied a fine of INR 1670, if some needs to go inside post office where the hell they will park the vehicle and go, shame on you bangalore traffic police you are looting the public and fulfilling your greed, they dont know how to talk and behave with common public

I was fined wrongly for rider and pillion not wearing helmet in doddakannelli are near whitefield on 21st MAY. But i live near lalbagh, and had not travelled to whitefield till date. Also this was during the covid lockdown.

When questioned the traffic policers of sarjapura police station for proof, they told they have not captured this in CCTV but it was noted down by officer in written.

And when i told them i had not visited the place at all, the officers got angry for no reason and started shouting on me saying police offers are never wrong. They also told after a while that if i wont get out of there it will not be good for me and they can do anything with the details they had collected from me.

What other proof can a person in lockdown show and argue with these kind of officers?
If no CCTV proof is given to us by police then how can we trust their written documents as well?

These matters should be taken seriously, police can no longer be trusted if this is the case.

I have questioned the same on other forums as well, have found similar answers from most of them.

On 14th October 2020 bangalore traffic police stopped in Kormangla and informed me that i have a pending fine for Rs2500. Inspector told me that fine is for 4th August 2020, but i told on that i was working at home and never went, how this is possible. But he didn't listened to me and forced me to pay the fine immediately. I asked for proofs also that atleast he show me some proofs is fine is for my bike but he told if i want proofs then i have to go to Traffic management center and check the violation images their. I asked him let me confirm the fine and if fine is for my bike then i'll pay the fine online but he didnt listened to me and forced me to pay the fine . Then i paid the fine in cash. Next day i went to TMC office and they told me that this fine is not for your vehicle, it is for some other vehicle and due to some issue we put this fine on your bike. They asked me to go to jayanagar traffic police station and fix this issue. Then immediately i went jayanagar traffic police station. Their i talked with one of the inspector, he showed me that traffic fine is for Honda Activa and somehow Activa bike has almost same vehicle number like me but last number was missing so due to that challan was made on my vehicle. Inspector told me once you paid the fine it is not refundable. There is no rule where we have to return customer money even if we make the mistake. Now everybody is blaming each other. I have paid fine for somebody's else mistakes. I want my money back.

Iv been stopped on multiple occasions by the traffic police during their start and end of month "fine collection drives" and asked to produce documents when i have not even broken any law. When i ask them what law I have broken they tell me i have a modified exhaust for my bike when mine is clearly the stock exhaust and other reasons like my bike was reported stolen.
Why are traffic cops illegally stopping people when no law is broken and also what number to we report these hooligans to. They just ty to fleece money of you and waste your time when you don't pay.

Being somebody very new to the city. I am first of all very disappointed to see the road arrangements in Bangalore. For eg. On a certain crossing at Inderanagar Nagar all three sides have a flow and the fourth one is temporarily blocked with no signs or a policeman to show the way. And then when one tries to take an exit from that blocked side, you will find police men standing just 50 steps away just trying to ambush vehicles in order to fine them.. So, basically are they gangsters who just want to collect fine money or for that matter money for their pockets. Instead of having their presence on the crossing and guiding traffic, they are 50 steps away waiting for new people like us who just go by google map! to just stop the vehicle and harass.

On the date 17 th aug 2020 I will be working in the office Tci reliance record room at the time 9:50 to 6 o clock how I should I be appear in the drdo junction then Put a traffic violation charges.i will submitting the attendance sheet for a proof

Normal travel to indiranagar is through st johns hospital circle, i got an notice regarding using mobile while riding bike, but my mobile will always be in my bag while riding my bike, as it is my routine habit. Notice number is 33949180 dt[protected]:58 am for an amount of 1000/- and place mentioned as sarjapura hosur road junction.

When i have kept my mobile in my bag and no hands free is used then how it is been used by me and with no proof they are sending notice which is irrelevant and wrong.

I need to understand on the actual process of fine and it has to be cancelled from my account.

I saw around 5 fine on my bike yamaha MT15(KA 41 ER 0350) for signal jump in deve gowda petrol bunk junction, as I travel on the flyover I don't think I can do signal jump as its below the flyover. Please can you check over it and if actually I jumped the singal send me the visual proof so that I can believe too.

I want to file complaint against traffic police towing vehicle no. Ka 05 ae 8880 running by its officer and staff, against illegally tow my bike from inside road, and they collected 1650 against receipts no. C/12/1071/34809 dated 08.03.2020.

They damage my bike badly, they broke my indicator, bike was disk lock,
They damage the lock and rear disk plate, they mash lock between inside part, they broke left side body frame....

Today traffic police towed my bike which was parked at the parking area, there was no sign of no parking board, the only board was b-track and my bike was inside the line where many other bikes were parked. Today at 2 pm i went to collect my bike from the station where a random person came near me and was asking 1000rs and he mentions he will release the bike, he also had to collect money from many other people and left them, i wanted the receipt and was waiting for the inspector to arrive so i can check with him why my bike was towed. When inspector arrived the person who was collecting bribe ran towards inspector and told something about me, and when i was asking what does b-track mean, the inspector did mention what the b-track mean and he also mentioned that's not called no parking but still he was still asking me to pay the fine when i told him why should i pay the fine when its a parking place. He started abusing me and started to push me aside. I have recorded the same when i was recording the inspector snatched my phone and started hitting me and he broke my phone and was threatening me telling he will put me behind the bars. I had no other option when i got hit my the inspector so i paid the fine. Then he threw the receipt at my face. He also checked everything in the phone before giving it back to me
. I have never faced this situation from any inspector before he was acting like a goon.

Sir what ever I am explaining below is happening all over the Bangalore. With secret investigation, everything will come out.
I parked my bike in no parking today and I was near my vehicle itself. Without announcing my vehicle number and without the siren or indicator to remove vehicle from no parking, they took my bike and went away.
When I went to get my bike, I came to know how the traffic police are misusing their profession for looting money from public.
I will explain how these polices set up people for looting.
The bikes will be dumped in one place, Traffic police will not be there at that place. He will avoid being in that place so that the dealing will be smoother between third party workers and the public.
Some third party private workers who are hired for lifting bikes into tiger(tempo) will be there at the dumping lot. All the dealings will happen with these private workers. Since the fine amount is high, They will first asks us to pay the amount, in my case 1000 for no parking and 650 for towing, total 1650.
These workers will ask 1300 rupees to be paid out of 1650, If we pay they will let us take the bike without giving any bill for paying fine. It means this fine is not even going on record or to the government, instead, it is going to pockets of Traffic polices.
I observed that per 30 bikes, only 1 person will wait for traffic police to pay the actual fine to receive bill.
Remaining people will deal with private workers for 350 discount[protected]=1300 Rs) that they are giving.
There PM is shouting the words Indian economy, GDP and many other things to inprove our nation.
How will our India improve with having looters like this in the governament itself.
It is like complaining your own greediness to you, Since you are the master mind behind such system.
This is what I got when I tried to calculate amount looted by BTP police per day,
Consider 200 bikes per tiger per day per police, 20 people pays the fine to government and receive bill, 180 people pays at least 1000 rupees, 180*1000=1, 80, 000.
PER DAY per tiger per traffic police traffic, the illegal income is 1 lakh and 80 thousand for one day.
These people are joining these kinds of profession just to eat illegal money through corruption and it has become a trend now a days.
I am doubtful whether these looters are appointed after clearing the exams or through curroption.
If the system is like this, only god knows how India will grow to compete with the rest of the world.
But I am sure that the god will not forgive these looters looting thier own nation without even properly serving it.
Greediness should not be the quality of the one who is serving the nation. Its an absolute shame.
Sir requesting you to find a way to stop this, even though the mistake is on public side, This System of giving a chance to loot the public very wrong.
The system should be created in such a way that there should not be a chance to back stab the government by its own servants in the form of looting Public.

Hi, i’m a daily commuter on the indiranagar metro in bangalore. I travel to the metro in my two wheeler from home each morning, park it there and travel to work through the metro. There is a “designated” parking lot next to the station that is always full by 9.15 am and i have to park my vehicle near the adjacent road. Two days in this past week, my vehicle has been towed stating the no parking boards that that put their the last weekend....

I was fined 1000 inr yesterday for over speeding at nagarbhavi main road (3 lane road) for riding my motorbike at 66 kmph speed (The officer did not show me the speed detected on the meter). The time was 3:39 pm and there was very less traffic. It is nearly impossible to drive there within 50 kmph (The speed limit as i was told by the officer who fined me). It defies natural logic.
How is 66 kmph dangerous driving at that time when there were less number of vehicles?

I just read the rules on this website now. As per the rules of[protected], dangerous driving can be charged 1000 inr fine. How can i riding my motorbike at 66 kmph at that time with lesser number of vehicles be dangerous driving?

This is krishna, today i parked my two wheeler activa along with all other bikes in front o[censored]nlimited show room in neeladri road, electronic city phase-1, bangalore
They have taken out my vehicle to electronic city traffic police station.
Though i have leg injury i went to the police station to collect my vehicle.

There is private person over there he is not even into department he is arrogantly demanding me to pay 1650/- take ur vehicle, until that i will not make you to touch your vehicle. Who are allowing them first of all to ask the money, they are not even a government employee.

Then i told him if it is no parking, i will pay the fine please give me the receipt, he responded me very arrogantly i[censored] want receipt i cannot give u now, give ur mobile i will send u through what's app otherwise u wait for 1 or 2 hrs sir will come & give u every thing.

After waiting for one more hour with my injured leg mr. Nagaraju sir came & he also started talking very arrogantly then i said sir i will pay the fine please give me the receipt, i can't stand also for long time bcz i got a facture in my leg.

Before taking the receipt itself i clearly asked him whether all details are going to come in that, you will get everything he said..

Finally he swiped my card & the amount deducted was higher than 1650/- but in the receipt it is coming total as 1000+350 = 1650/- (God only knows this sum) & the receipt what he has given

When i asked him sir calculation is totally wrong in this bill & also there was more amount than 1650/- deducted from my card, how it is possible...?

That police replied me very arrogantly you go and ask the government if calculation is wrong... So he mean to say i need to go & ask for minister about this.

Finally what i would like to convey first of all i have seen the situation there with many of the people they are grabbing so much money without receipt.

If somebody insisting for receipt they are giving the wrong receipts with all wrong calculations & fooling the people to loot money.

Also the way they are talking as if they are not government employees to answer wrong receipts which are given by them... Every thing we need to go & ask minister directly... They are not ready to answer our questions when there is wrong.

Even after ignoring all these no parking charge for 2 wheeler is 1000/- including all.

What i can say few traffic police are simply fooling the government, people and looting the money. I have so much respect and salute the police who actually do their duties. But because of these kind of arrogant & looting people in the department entire police department getting bad name in the public. Even i do have brothers & friends in police department so we know how they are struggling to manage their duties.

Sir i am requesting you to suggest me on going & giving complaint in the police station about this issue...?

May be 1650/- is a small amount, but per day if they wrongly collect they same amount from 100 people., definitely it's not a small amount, in front of me they collected the amount with receipt & without receipt from 20 people with in an hour... So please think about it & consider my request.
