Vehicle was towed away wrongly. No parking signs were not there on 4th phase road new yelahanka roadfrom the public toilet down that road till the end. Two blue and red no parking signs are there upto air quarters gate. There were atleast 7 fruit vans (1 tonner) were parked right under the board unchecked. But after the cross road behind 5 cars i had parked the car. Police towed away my car inspite of four of shouting to them. I am the driver. Hanumanthaiah was very rude when i showed him the photos of no parking boards not being there. The cop can't tow away my car, he can put a chit for wrong parking too. Total harrassment. Inspite of traffic police chief of yelahanka intervening and supporting me, hanumanthaiah said "don't eat my head. Pay the fine and go. We have put up 9 no parking boards, (Which is a big lie) just pay and don't eat my head". I started crying bcoz of the harrassment in front of everybody out there.

I experienced today what happens when traffic police (T. P.) towing vehicle suddenly picks our vehicle.
On the name of traffic police there are group of people who majorly work for traffic police as contractors and they misbehave lot with local people.

750 inr i paid today to take my 2-wheeler bike back from kalyan nagar t. P. Bangalore.

Is 750 lucky number of traffic police so they charge it or does bangalore t. P. Doesn't understand how much hard work has to be done to gain 750 inr which is already a 30% tax deducted money.

This experience made me to hate/shame current governing system.

There were multiple women looks so scared with this towing approach since impacted by it.
Some how people could reach via auto to tp station which we didn't even know where it is.

I can put on duty inspector name as well but i really want this approach to be stopped.

There could have minor mistakes of people in parking around 2 inches here and there, but overall experience was highly annoying.
And final settlement of 750 inr happens on the corner of the road next to kalyan nagar tp station by some unknown guys which are known by tp but not actually a tp, final settlement should have happened in tp station.

        Suggestion:
Penalty shouldn't be more than 200 inr (We can't even pay more than that, already paid money to auto as well to reach tp station)
There should be proper parking on roads since there is high struggle to get a space to park and then tp says little vehicle is crossed the boundary line and finally local people get into problems from tp.

I was asked to pay a fine of 400 bucks for jumping the signal even though there was no signal jumping from my side.

If i jumped the signal then why only i was caught whereas there were around 10-20 vehicles crossing the same signal parallel to me and behind me?

My dl is seized on the spot. Traffic police is saying i need to pay the fine to get back my dl.

Kindly help me getting my dl back without paying the fine unnecessarily. I would like to bring it to next level.

The incident occured on 28th aug, 2017 at johnson market. Myself and my friends decided to have lunch at fanoos, so we parked the car a little ahead at leonard street (About 100mts. Away). When we can back, to our surprise, the car was towed by traffic police. Please note: there is/was no sign board stating parking is an offense. We double checked to ensure the same. When we called the cops, their reckless behavior was even more annoying. They said they'd come back to the same spot where my car was towed within 10 mins but took 30 mins to get there.
The traffic policeman, mr. Rangaswamy (Photo attached), was arrogant and said none of my complaints could affect him in anyway. He charged me rs. 1100 and provided a bill for the same. I told them to use the money to buy a no parking board, so they don't cheat more people like me. He just smiled and got away with it.

My name is nirmal rayan, with the grey swift dzire with registration number ka05 mu 1410. I don't know if this complaint will make any difference in his life, but i hope it does. I hope good people who get affected by such corruptions would join hands to end these atrocities once and for all.

            Jai hind!

I met with a car accident at 10:25 p. M 2 days ago on 15/08/2017 on msr main road near indian oil petrol bunk (Between gokula bus stop and bel circle) as the uber car i was in hit the divider. The driver no doubt was driving rashly, but this possibly could have been avoided if there was a reflector installed on the divider. Request you to kindly facilitate this to avoid future accidents. Also the road next to the said petrol bunk needs a traffic signal. The spot is actually notorious for accidents. Please take action, otherwise there will surely be more accidents and loss of previous human lives.

My car was picked up by the traffic cop mr. Nagaraj on 24th june17 from a spot where i have been parking everyday for close to a year and a half now. The tow vehicle would have made close to 1000 trips during this period and never have they objected to this. When i met mr. Nagaraj (Phot attached) to get my car back and asked for the reasons, his logic was whopped:

                1. When i asked him why did he not pick up my car earlier, his logic was that only now the auto guys had complained to him that i am parking in auto stand. So basically what he meant is the traffic cops pick up vehicles from no/wrong parking only upon complaints from someone!!! Am i assuming right here?

                2. When i informed him that there is no 'no parking' board there, is logic was "have we seen a parking board there"? This again makes no sense as according to normal understand parking is everywhere other than where there are specific 'no parking' boards. Again he had no more argument to offer than the above.

He was clearly aggressive and didnt like us asking questions. When i said i will escalate, he seemed to be least bothered and said 'go ahead'.

This is regarding crr no. E/4/1691/10303.

Today i was stopped by the traffice police constable at the ngef krishnaiahna palya junction for jumping signal for not a free left. When i took the left the light was green (You can check the video if you have). I told the same thing repeatedly but the constable didn't listen and he was talking very rudly as though i have commited a murder. Later i was taken to his senior who was a little better in speaking (Not still was rude) and i told him repeatedly too, but he turned deaf ears and charged me with a challan of 400 rs. I am a traffic rule follower and i was framed for nothing. Please investigate on this and pay me back my amount. I think this was only done to may be achieve some of their targets of violators (They may have). I hope somebody would listen to this and rectify.

Bengaluru Traffic Police Banaswadi Division is exceptionally talented. They pull out your car or bike from an authorized parking place, tow it to the police station and demand money.
If you argue with them, they say they don't understand english or Hindi, although the sub-inspector speaks good english as I heard him talking to another folk from Andhra in English.
They moment they see a Northie, they revert to Kannada just so that they don't need to argue with a Northie, then demands a bribe without giving a receipt. If you say you'd pay the
fine in full, even though there was no mistake of your own as you had parked in the right place, they get angry and then give you a receipt. The Tiger has its set of private contractor wolves
who have an air of haughtiness amongst them - grow up you poor uneducated rowdies - your high and haughty attitude counts for nothing.

I'm actually proud of these folks in traffic police station/tiger tow because due to them I think I'm a better person seeing the kind of people in this world who are like them. THey set a
benchmark for bad behaviour and racism.

The way Bangalore Police have started these days is really pathetic and they have stooped to abysmally low levels. While i was coming from lunch through 80 feet Indiranagar road and was carrying the photocopies of the document on which they impounded a fine on me saying they want original documents. I told them that my office is nearby and would take me 10 minutes to get it, they just have to wait for that much time. They were adamant that i had to pay the fine and they can not wait. As far as i know if one can get the document in short interval then there is no problem and i don't think 10 minutes is such a long wait. They just wanted to verify the documents and i had already showed them photocopy. However they did not let me leave and i agreed on paying the fine though i was really frustrated by seeing the their behavior and attitude. When i took the receipt after paying the fine, i came to know that i was fined for not wearing the helmet which was totally insane as i have never rode without wearing a helmet. When i confronted them, they said fine is collected and i can go and after they started speaking in Kannada knowing fairly well that i do not know the language. I had no other option but to leave. I am really aghast and disappointed by this situation. The people who are appointed to help us and bring law and order, are spreading the anarchy and openly mocking the system. The incident took place on 1st of September, 2015 at 3:17:39 PM in Michaelpalya S D Road Junction. I just demand an explanation from the Bangalore Traffic Police and if this is they way they want to operate then God help the anarchy.
Very bad experience with Bangalore Traffic Police

I verified about traffic violation complaint at Traffic Police website: http://www.bangaloretrafficpolice.gov.in/bpsfinedetails/bpsfinedetails.aspx . I can able to see same info provided in the notice. On further searching website for Proof of evidence I could not able see any proof as it was enter by traffic police and not captured by traffic surveillance cameras. I stay in New thippasandra. I am working in ADE, CV Raman Nagar. I have no official or personal work at Peenya. So far, I never move around at Peenya, even on holidays. I did not even leave the house on 5/4/2015 and nobody else drive my car. It is extremely dis-heartening to accept such false Offence. I have paid the fine amount of Rs 100/- to close this matter, in-spite of I AM NOT being at fault. I would like to understand why and how such a mistake happens. I suspect, if there is another vehicle bearing the same register number or the Register number was erroneously entered. I have mailed a complaint to Enforcement Automaton center, Bangalore to investigate true defaulter so that if such incident repeats in feature, I should not be targeted again. Please can some on guide me about further precautionary step Thanks VIJAYA KUMAR GS

On 17th May 2014, at about 14.25 hrs when I came back after shopping a Taxi cab bearing Reg:No: KA05AD8143 was parked six inches away from car's rear bumper and the driver was missing. I had to wait for over an hour for the driver to return but he abused me and tried to deflate my car along with another driver (both in white uniform). The cab belonged to www.mmlogistic.in. I am 71 year old man with two bypass surgeries and had to wait in the hot sun for over an hour. I made a complaint to[protected] and was told that a traffic police will reach in 10 minutes. But none turned up. Again when I called they advised me to go to jurisdictional police station and file a crminal complaint against assault. The driver broke my spectacles and pulled my cap ( I am a bald man) and caught hold my collar. My complaint no 9601 has been rejected stating that the photo I attached is not clear. I have submitted another complaint today (28/05/2014) (No;9832) with another photograph. I have photographs of the area, the way the car was parked, and the driver. But I am unable to upload all of them through this format.

Rather than a complaint, this is a suggestion in good faith. In front of the R.T.Nagar post office, there's a space at the side of the road for parking two wheelers. About 25 meters away from the post office, there's a no parking sign which extends from the point of the sign until 300 meters in the direction away from the post office. Since the parking area is one stretch, nobody notices the no parking sign since it is placed behind some railings on a footpath. Our traffic police get a good haul of bikes parked everyday in that no parking zone, because there's no immediately visible indication that the no parking zone has begun. Most people end up parking their bikes there because bikes are already parked there (that's what happened to me). A responsible person would ensure that if they really didn't want people to park there, they'd place a clearly visible demarcation on that part of the road, showing that parking area ends there. As of now, it just appears to be a nice daily fishing ground for towing away two wheelers everyday and collecting a fine. Dear policemen. Please either do away with that no parking sign or make it more conspicuous (the current no parking sign is visible, but not good enough). The same applies for any other no parking zone frequented by traffic police towing vehicles.

                                  Hello,

I was booked for a traffic violation, Drunken Driving last weekend near Mount Carmel College. The fine was paid in the court room. The cop kept calling me asking me if i had paid the fine, and i can come and collect my DL from him. I was wondering why he was being so nice and calling me to find out if I had paid the fine. He called me thrice on 15/03/2013. When i called him back yesterday he asked me to come to a restaurant (Chandrika Restaurant), when i went there he asked me come to another place and the traffic constable in the corner of Cunningham Road will guide me.

I asked him why was he making me run behind him, ideally he should be keeping my DL at the police station and i shall pick it up from there. He got agitated and abused me and a verbal dual ensued. He then asked me for money to give me back my DL, which I refused and I said I will escalate the issue. After a lot of argument he threw my DL at me and said he knows what to do to me. Firstly this man makes me run all over the place behind him, asks for a bribe, abuses me, throws my DL and threatens me by saying he will take care of me.

The name of the police is Nanjunda swamy from High grounds traffic police station. I’m reaching out to the press and Lokayukta also in this regard and I request action be taken against this person for his unruly behavior, asking for bribe, insulting me, and threating me that he will take care of me.

                                  Regards,
                                  Karthik

Bangalore traffic police — Fake Reasons & Make money

                                  Dear Bidari Sir,
I don’t know if you will read this email or Complaint, Today I had been to Indiranagar to collect my Two-Wheeler Vehicle insurance documents, while coming on CMH Road, Traffic Police(Shivashankarppa) & one Constable(both age would be around 50) caught me near to Chinmaya Hospital Signal left side ,Indiranagar, 80 feet road, opp. Swapna Book House.

I had all my Vehicle documents (Insurance, RC book, DL, Emission Test) after checking these documents they are telling me that I was jumped the Traffic Signal and they started asking for Rs.400 as a fine. But I have not jumped the signal all vehicles were moving at that time moreover there was no signal at that time. I had argued with them for 30 minutes but they are very rude, they had harassed me for 30 minutes and used abusing language at me. They told me that I have to go to Court if I don’t pay, After 30 mins of argument he is telling me for misbehaving to police I have to pay for 500/-.+ Rs 400 for Traffic Signal jumping, Total Rs. 900. There was no way left for me somehow I convinced and gave Rs.200 (without bill) and got out of that place.
From last 5 years I had my all documents up to date without any delay in renewing them. I had obeyed the government rules all these days, but I really cursing myself. I think there is no value for the Honesty.

It’s not only happening to me, whoever they catch they are eagerly waiting to see the victim’s Purse so that they can assume how much money they need to ask and with what fake reason. Both were not interested in their duties they were interested to CHEAT THE PEOPLE AND MAKE MONEY. They are the “DAY ROBBERS”

Will you be able to take action on them?

I have received a letter from Bangalore Traffic Police Department stated that I was riding my vehicle at Varamavu Ring Road Without Helmet on 18th Feb 2013 at 5:30 PM. This allegation is invalid because I do not ride without helmet and even I do not know the mentioned place.

Hi. I am Neil Domingo. Just this morning, on my way to work as usual I took the service road opposite to Bangalore central in Bellandur where a police stpped me and started scolding and askin me to go back as no vehicles were allowed. When I asked him why the road isn't blocked if there is no entry for vehicles then he asked me to go then he will block the road. After I go back and take a long detour to the main road I see him allowing vehicles on the road just where he stopped me and a few motorists. Is this correrct? Why is there no proper system on our roads? One day the road is blocked and the other it isn't. Can sometheing be done here? Why are people harassed by policemen on the road? Is harassing their duty or controlling traffic? And if they cant control traffic why aren't the authorities taking up proper steps to ensure things? It is very unpleasant to be driving on roads where policemen themselves are insensitive.

the way police man acted might be wrong. But if i would have been there defently personally i would have thank the police man for his action.I don't want to be rude but the pain i undergo everyday to communte to and from my home in that service road makes me to think so...
But ppl who are commuting via Bellandur to ECOSPCAE Tech park please consider about us who stay in that area. Especially people who have homes behind the rasaganga hotel and that route. Morning all people commuting to Eco Space wants to use the service road only to reduce their travel distance. so we residents are stuck in that mad traffic to come out of the place and move to our work locations. Evening when we return back to home same thing, you people again want to use the service road. So we are not able to head to our home on time. There are lot of working moms in that area and who obviously in a hurry to reach home to take care of their little ones. Why can't people travelling to/from Eco Space IT Park simply use the main roads and fly overs? Ppl who needs to go to the side of Bagini and on that left side road it is very easy to take left turn from main road rather than coming to service road and making all of our lifes horrible. Same thing when u go to work...
I don't understand why it is not coming to the bright and kind hears working in Eco Space IT Park. Atleast companies operating from Eco Space can take some iniatives to educate their employees regarding this and save the life of ppl living in that area...

                                        Hi,

Yesterday I was going to ITPL via KRPuram. I took a right turn and was asked by police to stop the car who were standing in shade on the sideroad. I had right signal and there was no other vehicles in sight.Actually I was moving past them, when they noticed it is a lady driver and asked me to stop the car. I had a Kerala registration. Though I paid tax, I havent changed the number plate as I am planning to move back to Kerala. Thinking they want to ask about this I went to them. Senior office sitting on bike asked me for driving license and when I talked in English started scolding me for not learning Kannada. After checking my license he asked me to pay Rs200. When I argued that I had the signal and hasnt done any violation, he said I need to pay money if I have to get the license back. Finally I had to pay the money. Last 1 weekI have seen traffice police in every corner of the city stopping vehicles. Has the traffic police been asked to raise money for government by harassing the citizens.

I got notice[protected] that I have voilated traffic rules on 14th feb, 13:45 hrs. I really do not understand how the Bangalore traffice police has arrived to my car number. On 14th feb, 13:45 hrs, I was in office and till date I have not taken my car near to the place where I have supposedly voiolated traffice rules. Do traffic police departmant have any proof that the car which voilated the traffic rules was mine? Or do they just randomly pick up some number and start sending notices? They should stop troubling innocents and send notices to the culprits.

                                          Police — Traffic violation

I am from Mangalore, India. I was wrongly charged today of a traffic violation to which I did not commit. and its only cause the person who came and hit me on a motorcycle was a cop. And he belonged to the police department. I had no choice but to apologies and pay a fine for reckless driving :( . Although I was abused verbally and taken o the traffic police station. I have completely lost faith in the system, Democracy now is for . Is there a day when all this is going to change???
I have the same issue. Got a parking violation for 17th May at a time and place where I just wasn't there! The notice in the mail directs you to a website that is supposed to have proof of the violation but I can't seem to find anything on the site which will show me such proof. Naresh
Even I got a ticket for traffic violation on 21st December for a place where I have never been. I can even prove that I was not at that place on that day. However I dont know whom I can approach and show this. Suraj
Its the same case with me too. Can someone tell me whom do we approach to resolve such matters.
I have received a ticket for traffic violation on 27 Jan '12 near Naga Circle for parking near traffic light or pedestrian cross at 0230 hrs for my 02 wheeler. For proof I logged on to the web site given. Same violation is displayed. No photographic proof for the same. I have no reason to be at midnight near Naga Circle. I can prove I was sleeping in bed.
I had received another ticket for not wearing helmet on 08 Jun '11 at 1230 hrs near Ulsoor Police station circle. I was not in Bangalore & no one else can use my 02 wheeler. My wife goes to Office by car. My mother is 80 yrs old to ride a scooter. There is no proof available on the web site. Srinivas
I have received a ticket[protected] for my 2 wheeler for parking near traffic light or pedestrian cross at Naga Circle, Shivajinagar on 27 Jan '12 at 0231 hrs. For proof I have logged on to the web site mentioned. Same violation is mentioned. No photographic proof. Moreover, I have no reason to Park my 02 wheeler near traffic light or pedestrian cross at 0231 hrs (midnight/early morning). I have proof I was very much sleeping in my bed. If it is 1430 hrs, 27 Jan '12 is Friday, I was very much at my Office which is at Malleshwaram. I have no reason to be near Naga Circle. There is no photographic evidence available. Guess someone committs the offence, human error, the number noted is wrong. Why should I be penalised? Srinivas.
This is Regarding Two Wheelers & Autos Encroaching all over on the Malleshwaram 7th Cross, 8th Cross, 9 th Cross & Regularly Blocking Four Wheeler Traffic Regularly here. The Traffic Police has completely Failed to Book Two Wheelers and Autorickshaws Parking all over on these 3 Cross, 7th, 8th & 9th Cross. Added to this there is Regular Pedestrian Nuisance here. I Request the Bangalore Traffic Police to Book Two Wheelers and Autorickshaws parked all around here in all these roads that are Regularly Blocking Four Wheeler Traffic.
I have the same issue. Got a parking violation for 15th nov 2012 at a time and place where I just wasn't there! The notice in the mail directs you to a website that is supposed to have proof of the violation but I can't seem to find anything on the site which will show me such proof. NANDAN
                                          Dear Sir,

Please book the Veh no. KA05 P 3516 (a old Maruthi 800 Dark Blue Car) on 11th Dec 2012 at 4:31 PM for traffic violation, "RASH DRIVING" "NEGLIGENCE"; "OVER SPEED"; and "SIGNAL JUMPING" in Murphy Town opp to Kensington Gardens Apartments.

For further reference and proof please verify the camera footage of the Camera installed at the traffic island in front of Kensington Gardens Apartments.
driving without helmet in hebbal on 29th Jan-2013, This notice is not true, on the same day i was in office, which is in after ITPL. and i got all the proofs for this. But how can they send notice without any proofs .

                                          Notice number :- 7195025
I got notice that parking at no-parking at kaggadaspura railway gate on 16th feb 5:55 PM. I was not there on that saturday.
Even it is very wonder that why should i park at railway gate.
                                          notice no - 7281492.

How to ask for proof to traffic police ?
I received a notice from Bangalore city Traffic Police stating I made an offence of riding without helmet on 22- Feb 2013 near Siddappa Reddy junction at 0806 Hrs. But I have never visited that place on that particular time and day. On that particular day and at that time my bike( KA01EX7828 )was parked at home and i was also at home. Earlier also I had received a notice for parking at non-parking area near Mother Theresa Circle which i had not parked. But I had paid the fine. I suspect there is some one who is using registration no. of my bike
I am facing the same problem, I have received the notice which says I have voilated the rules n proof can be checked on website but on website there is no such proof n infact nothing as such is displayed. Humble request to all the traffic police that you should catch hold of culprits and not innocents. other day I was fined for violating rules but when the same violation was committed by others, they were not fined, just bcos they requested and bribed with little money, they were sent back. This is not fair. RULE IS A RULE EVEN FOR A FOOL, EVERY ONE IS EQUAL FOR LAW.
I have received a notice no.9562748 dot. July 15th 2014 that I have violated traffic rules on July 14th 2014.I was in the US from June 3rd 2014, and returned to India only on the early morning of 21st July 2014.The battery of both my cars including the car in question were disconnected and the car was in the garage under lock and key.Only my sister 72 years of age was in my residence as a caretaker of the house and she does not know to drive.
The notice says that "for proof log on to www.bangaloretrafficpolice.gov. But I cannot find the poof or photo of the car in question in the website. The telephone no of the traffic warden ie 22942923 is not responding to the calls made.this is certainly a mockery of the whole set up. Can anyone from the traffic police department guide me- thanks
what worst can happen if I don't pay the fine?

Received notice from traffic police which is totally a fake violation charges on me.
I have been issued with 2 tickets for the 2 wheeler KA01HD3191 (on[protected] at 8.15 am and[protected] at 8.22 am) for violation of parking on zebra crossing at Adugodi Junction.. Please note that there is no zebra crossing painting at the Adugodi Junction and police need to define the zebra crossing properly. citizens of bangalore are good enough to pay traffic fines and hence the police is getting huge income. The same rule does not apply to Gov Vehicles and Yellow Board cabs.

yesterday traffic police have taken away my vehicle near 4th phase, yelahanka, bangalore for wrong parking. first of all there was no board displaying no parking area., over and above they have charged exorbident fee of Rs.766/-. the receipt for the same was given (no.B/36/1847/6238 dtd 11.12.17) in which the details mentioned as wrong parking Rs.100/-, Rs.325/- for private charges and Rs.325/- for towing charges and Rs.16 tax. there were lot of fruit vendors parking their vehicles causing lot of traffic. they are not addressing that issues. there were lot of four wheelers too. they did not target that. also, i am very upset with the rude behaviour of the traffic police who says when enquired "why did you vote for Siddaramaia". because of this exorbident charges people for forced to bribe the policemen.

No right turn signal for vehicles coming from marathalli towards satya sai nagar or green garden layout.

The kundalahalli gate junction handles more than a lakh vehicles a day.

As it is the main junction for people commuting towards whitefield and ITPL area.

Satya sai nagar is upcoming colony with vehicle and population increasing day by day as it is seen in most part of the bangalore.

There are almost 100 apartments are there and almost 2000 flats are there in the colony. Almost 2000 resident vehicles and double the number of public vehicle enter the satya sai nagar through the kundalahalli gate signal.

There is no right turn signal for Vehicles coming from marathalli side entering satya sai nagar. Every time vehicle had to disobey the traffic light and get in to the colony, when the vehicles coming from varthur road will have green signal. Many small accidents take place at this junction resulting in traffic jams.

Most of the day time it is manned by constables. Can that signal be added with a 2 min or 1 min right turn from the marathalli towards the satya sai nagar.

May the Bangalore traffic police do the needful to avoid traffic violations and deaths / injuries at this busy junction.

                                            Thanks

It is a shae for the entire polcie force to have some rowdy elemetns.Their gesture and languages are similar to rowdys.Lokayukta and State Govt. should take initiate steps to eject this type of corrupt and rowdy elements from the force.

I have not seen as worst Trafic Police as in Bangalore anywhee else. Most of the traffic cops suffer from various diseases like BP and diabetes.hence their temper is very bad. They should think that they are Public servants and Public are REAL their masters and not Commissiooner, DCP or ACP or home Minister

                                                  Hi,
I am Deepak from Bangalore. I was fined at Cauvery Arts & Crafts Circle, MG Road on[protected] at 05:20:36PM for two offenses: 1) Jumping Traffic Signal 2) Lane Discipline.
To the best of my knowledge, I took right turn from Anil Kumble Circle side rode towards Brigade Road, when the signal was green. When I had crossed the signal more than half way, the traffic police man suddenly came and stopped me and fined for above two offenses. First he asked me for Rs. 200/- fine. I requested him saying that I had crossed the signal only when it was green, and might have turned red while I had just completed my turn. The reply was: " pay 300 Rs. now", and he was very arrogant. I want to know, if there is a rule by Bangalore traffic police that if you request a traffic police man, he will increase the fine by hundred rupees? The other offense framed was "Lane Discipline" .. I don't understand how these two can be clubbed together. If one jumps the traffic signal, ofcourse, he has to go to the lane he/she was supposed to. And lastly, I am 100% sure that I did not jumped the signal. If there is a closed circuit camera installed at that signal, you may please see the recording. I am ready to pay additional 1000 Rs. fine if I am found guilty. The CRR No. of fine is : A/8/1218/12333. My vehicle number is KA03-EY7404 (Blue-Black color Discovery 125 CC Bike). My DL number is 103614/2000. The traffic police man's bike number which I had noted is KA03-G-1040. Please take legitimate action.
                                                  Thanks,
                                                  Deepak

Yes i agree with u. These traffic cops are too hurry to become rich man over the night by treatening the innocent people and book false complaints and even to achive their target and if the people does not pay the bribe for no fault, they will feed to the system as they wish and sent the notice stating of their own created law ... Who are the justifiers? If they panalise without any proof, who will justify us...is it ok to pay for non fault or seek the justice for endless correption...
Bangalore TRAFFIC police are worst than street beggars, I can say they are professional beggars, they are ready to take anything from Rs50 to 200 without bills
As per my knowledge, it is worth less to give complaint. Because no one here to listen public. I am residing in Marathahalli near Choudeswari temple .Traffic police daily changes the parking and non-parking area here (that to inside narrow street) without concerning anybody.Their aim is to collect extra money and enjoying . They are selected some local guy and with the help of them, Traffic police doing all these useless activities.
when we are going to talk with traffic police, they are telling just talk with that local guy and finalize the fine. The CITY like Bangalore these type of activities are pointing to the responsible police and throughing the mud to their white dress. please do the needful and keep the legitimate action clean.
The bangalore Traffic police are beggars. They should be provided with steel Thalis to beg in the traffic signals. These are the educated theaves who are stealing our money without any obstruction cos they have the governent back. The common man is always there to suffer, and even in the so called largest democracy, it is no exception.
-Pulling out the keys from the vehicle
                                                  -Pushing peoples with force.
-They say you have broken the rules even i[censored] have not, and you have no proof to proove your innocense

I see so many complains, all going to deaf years. This issue should be escalated to the level of Home ministry, and we as true citizen of this country should fight against this cruelity in all its form.
These inhuman beggars needed to be taught a lesson..
                                                  it is 100% true
These Traffic Police are worster than beggars...shame on u Bangalore Traffic Police...

I am Prajin Ravindran, I wanted to raise my voice against the rediculous and unacceptable thing the Bangalore Traffic Police have done to me today. I had parked my bike Pulsar 150 CC KA 03 EW 8626 infront of old 3 Stories resteraunt on Lavelle Road and my bike was towed from there and was fined 300rs for no justice. This is rediculous and just unacceptable. I am now ashamed to live among people like this....

On 3/8/2010, at around 11 am, at ESI Junction on way to ITPL, I was stopped by a traffic policeman for what he claimed to be a "Jumping Traffic Signal" offense. To the best of my knowledge, it did not qualify to be one; however, it was possible that the signal could have changed whilst I was making the turn. Anyone who drives a car should be able to understand that whilst making the turn, one concentrates on the vehicles ahead and not on the the traffic signal. It was the policeman's word against mine; since I did not want to get drawn to a debate and thereby get late to my office, I paid up Rs.100/- on spot. However, I had enough time to stand and watch the next drama unfold. Upon the next signal change, the police man stopped a two wheeler driver for wearing a "half helmet", with his 3-4 accompanying policemen nodding in agreement that it was a Rs.600/- offence.

My complaint here is that the concerned policemen seemed to be more interested in catching marginal cases to increase their collection and not interested in actual prevention of traffic problems. Mind you, the policemen were not present at the junction to prevent the "jumps" as per their definition, but at a strategic distance away from the junction to catch unsuspecting marginal cases, just to increase their collection. With about 5 traffic policemen manning a problem-free ESI junction with the sole intention of fleecing folks working for various IT companies, it is no wonder that they are not be seen in areas where the real traffic congestion is present. Such instances do not bode well for the traffic police, but only helps bolsters their image as being part of the bigger traffic menace. Also, is it really hard for Bangalore Traffic police to find employees who can excercise common sense...?

                                                      Hi,

I have been travelling from past 3 years from my home to office and reverse.
Bangalore traffic police boasts of all the new technology and modern equipped systems to manage traffic.
But its so disappointing that there is noone to put a check on the Autorickshaws.
Almost 9 out of every 10 autos have there meter tampered. A 10 km distance will show 12 kms.
Inspite of knowing all this, I have never seen any improvement in the behaviour of Autorickshaw drivers.
They have no fear for Traffic police.

One day i was travelling from near oxford college Garvebhavipalya to Bellandur via silkboard. I hired an auto he asked me for 20 rs extra over meter.
I agreed because it was 9:00pm. His meter shooted to 25 at silk board (6 rs over normal). I told him his meter is fast.
he started abusing me in kannda and asked me to get out of the auto. i said i dont have change i gave him 100 rs. he said go and get change from somewhere.
i was unable to get change. then he came and asked for the note. and got it changed. But to my surprise he took 30 rs and gave me back 70 and ran off with the auto.
His auto number was KA05-7044. Now i want to know what traffic police will do to teach drivers of this type a lesson.
Its like robbery. and so dissappointing on traffic police's part. This is just one of the 1000 instances I have faced in last 3 years.

Whenevr I will go from home to office or reverse, I usually take auto and 90 % of the autos shoot to 85 rs or more, while the normal charges are only 74 rupees.
Is it not the duty of traffic police to put a check on tampered meters. Why traffic police waits for a victim to complain and then take action.

It a shame that Bangalore being IT captial of India. we get to face this kind of scenarios. I have lost trust on Bangalore traffic police.
And I have 90 % feeling that this mail will also go in recycle bin.

                                                      Traffic Police — Autos

                                                      Hello!

I would like to place a complaint for demanding excess fare and talking very very aggresively and for indecent behaviour of an auto driver.

The vehicle registration number is - ka02r3603.

When I told him that I will place a complaint, he abused the Bangalore police and told me to get lost and place how many ever complaints as I want.

I request you to kindly take this matter forward so that we can have a peaceful city free of polluted auto drivers.

I will be of any help you need.

                                                      Please call me on [protected].

I even took the auto driver to a traffic policeman and he did nothing to help me.

Instead, he was laughing along with the auto driver which was very very disappointing!

This was near the Bellandur Junction on 8th Dec (Monday, 2008) around 5.30 pm.

I am very disappointed and hope to hear you take some step.

                                                      Thanks in advance.

                                                      Sincerely,

                                                      deep

                                                      CITIZEN OF INDIA
Very surprise to see total eight traffic signals at Jogeshwari Link Road. It is causing unwanted traffic everyday especially in the morning & evening (pick time) which is resulting into loss of enough fuel as well important & precious time of all people who travels through that route.
Out of all eight signals few signals is placed at less then 30 seconds distance.
Is it really required ? or it is political issue or ? it is arranged by Arey Road authorities to Jamm the Link road & earn enough money thru Arey Road ?

Kindly take necessary action on this else we may have to being this under media & higher authorities.

                                                      Hoping for the best.

They have putup a new signal in KR road,Bangalore. This is covered by the tree branches. The signal is visible only when you are very close to pole. only thing you can see from far is a green light where you need to decide to stop or move. When I took a right turn because the lights were green because of poor visibiliity i saw 2 constables standing getting ready to fine. I pleaded not wrong due to very poor visibility of the traffic signal, but they insisted on paying fine. When I was sure not to pay, they charged me with Dangerously Driving.

This is not the first time I have experienced this. The traffic indicators are not visible properly to the drivers. The police is taking an deliberate advantage of this.

Just to prove my point, I have taken a short video of this traffic signal which shows the poor visibility of the traffic signal in KR Road,Bangalore.

                                                        Police — harrassment

Recently I was on a trip to shillong with my Fiancee and while we were returning from shoping in guwahati a police constable (P.R Yadav) without proper dress stopped us in the road and starting asking about from where did we come from. I said from the shopping Mall that was just opposite to him, after that he asked that where are we going , I said paltan bazar. He started checking things around me. I did not mind but he started asking the same questions again and again. I showed him my Pan card and then he left us. I was taking an auto and the driver said that he does this for money and even harreses college going students whaich has made the students taking another route to college. This is pure insane.
Soon there will be a movement with people on road for the harassment of Bangalore traffic police. They are more fine collectors than traffic controllers. All they do just to collect fine mostly by hiding like T----s, argue with people and collect money like r---s. One person start hitting them and many others will follow soon. This is going to happen seeing the way, bangalore police behave.
