Hi,
I am Deepak from Bangalore. I was fined at Cauvery Arts & Crafts Circle, MG Road on[protected] at 05:20:36PM for two offenses: 1) Jumping Traffic Signal 2) Lane Discipline.
To the best of my knowledge, I took right turn from Anil Kumble Circle side rode towards Brigade Road, when the signal was green. When I had crossed the signal more than half way, the traffic police man suddenly came and stopped me and fined for above two offenses. First he asked me for Rs. 200/- fine. I requested him saying that I had crossed the signal only when it was green, and might have turned red while I had just completed my turn. The reply was: " pay 300 Rs. now", and he was very arrogant. I want to know, if there is a rule by Bangalore traffic police that if you request a traffic police man, he will increase the fine by hundred rupees? The other offense framed was "Lane Discipline" .. I don't understand how these two can be clubbed together. If one jumps the traffic signal, ofcourse, he has to go to the lane he/she was supposed to. And lastly, I am 100% sure that I did not jumped the signal. If there is a closed circuit camera installed at that signal, you may please see the recording. I am ready to pay additional 1000 Rs. fine if I am found guilty. The CRR No. of fine is : A/8/1218/12333. My vehicle number is KA03-EY7404 (Blue-Black color Discovery 125 CC Bike). My DL number is 103614/2000. The traffic police man's bike number which I had noted is KA03-G-1040. Please take legitimate action.
Thanks,
Deepak

Yes i agree with u. These traffic cops are too hurry to become rich man over the night by treatening the innocent people and book false complaints and even to achive their target and if the people does not pay the bribe for no fault, they will feed to the system as they wish and sent the notice stating of their own created law ... Who are the justifiers? If they panalise without any proof, who will justify us...is it ok to pay for non fault or seek the justice for endless correption...
Bangalore TRAFFIC police are worst than street beggars, I can say they are professional beggars, they are ready to take anything from Rs50 to 200 without bills
As per my knowledge, it is worth less to give complaint. Because no one here to listen public. I am residing in Marathahalli near Choudeswari temple .Traffic police daily changes the parking and non-parking area here (that to inside narrow street) without concerning anybody.Their aim is to collect extra money and enjoying . They are selected some local guy and with the help of them, Traffic police doing all these useless activities.
when we are going to talk with traffic police, they are telling just talk with that local guy and finalize the fine. The CITY like Bangalore these type of activities are pointing to the responsible police and throughing the mud to their white dress. please do the needful and keep the legitimate action clean.
The bangalore Traffic police are beggars. They should be provided with steel Thalis to beg in the traffic signals. These are the educated theaves who are stealing our money without any obstruction cos they have the governent back. The common man is always there to suffer, and even in the so called largest democracy, it is no exception.
-Pulling out the keys from the vehicle
-Pushing peoples with force.
-They say you have broken the rules even i[censored] have not, and you have no proof to proove your innocense

I see so many complains, all going to deaf years. This issue should be escalated to the level of Home ministry, and we as true citizen of this country should fight against this cruelity in all its form.
These inhuman beggars needed to be taught a lesson..
it is 100% true
These Traffic Police are worster than beggars...shame on u Bangalore Traffic Police...

Bike towed from a parking place and fined for NO PARKING

    Address: Bangalore, Karnataka

I am Prajin Ravindran, I wanted to raise my voice against the rediculous and unacceptable thing the Bangalore Traffic Police have done to me today. I had parked my bike Pulsar 150 CC KA 03 EW 8626 infront of old 3 Stories resteraunt on Lavelle Road and my bike was towed from there and was fined 300rs for no justice. This is rediculous and just unacceptable. I am now ashamed to live among people like this....

On 3/8/2010, at around 11 am, at ESI Junction on way to ITPL, I was stopped by a traffic policeman for what he claimed to be a "Jumping Traffic Signal" offense. To the best of my knowledge, it did not qualify to be one; however, it was possible that the signal could have changed whilst I was making the turn. Anyone who drives a car should be able to understand that whilst making the turn, one concentrates on the vehicles ahead and not on the the traffic signal. It was the policeman's word against mine; since I did not want to get drawn to a debate and thereby get late to my office, I paid up Rs.100/- on spot. However, I had enough time to stand and watch the next drama unfold. Upon the next signal change, the police man stopped a two wheeler driver for wearing a "half helmet", with his 3-4 accompanying policemen nodding in agreement that it was a Rs.600/- offence.

My complaint here is that the concerned policemen seemed to be more interested in catching marginal cases to increase their collection and not interested in actual prevention of traffic problems. Mind you, the policemen were not present at the junction to prevent the "jumps" as per their definition, but at a strategic distance away from the junction to catch unsuspecting marginal cases, just to increase their collection. With about 5 traffic policemen manning a problem-free ESI junction with the sole intention of fleecing folks working for various IT companies, it is no wonder that they are not be seen in areas where the real traffic congestion is present. Such instances do not bode well for the traffic police, but only helps bolsters their image as being part of the bigger traffic menace. Also, is it really hard for Bangalore Traffic police to find employees who can excercise common sense...?

      Hi,

I have been travelling from past 3 years from my home to office and reverse.
Bangalore traffic police boasts of all the new technology and modern equipped systems to manage traffic.
But its so disappointing that there is noone to put a check on the Autorickshaws.
Almost 9 out of every 10 autos have there meter tampered. A 10 km distance will show 12 kms.
Inspite of knowing all this, I have never seen any improvement in the behaviour of Autorickshaw drivers.
They have no fear for Traffic police.

One day i was travelling from near oxford college Garvebhavipalya to Bellandur via silkboard. I hired an auto he asked me for 20 rs extra over meter.
I agreed because it was 9:00pm. His meter shooted to 25 at silk board (6 rs over normal). I told him his meter is fast.
he started abusing me in kannda and asked me to get out of the auto. i said i dont have change i gave him 100 rs. he said go and get change from somewhere.
i was unable to get change. then he came and asked for the note. and got it changed. But to my surprise he took 30 rs and gave me back 70 and ran off with the auto.
His auto number was KA05-7044. Now i want to know what traffic police will do to teach drivers of this type a lesson.
Its like robbery. and so dissappointing on traffic police's part. This is just one of the 1000 instances I have faced in last 3 years.

Whenevr I will go from home to office or reverse, I usually take auto and 90 % of the autos shoot to 85 rs or more, while the normal charges are only 74 rupees.
Is it not the duty of traffic police to put a check on tampered meters. Why traffic police waits for a victim to complain and then take action.

It a shame that Bangalore being IT captial of India. we get to face this kind of scenarios. I have lost trust on Bangalore traffic police.
And I have 90 % feeling that this mail will also go in recycle bin.

      Traffic Police — Autos

      Hello!

I would like to place a complaint for demanding excess fare and talking very very aggresively and for indecent behaviour of an auto driver.

The vehicle registration number is - ka02r3603.

When I told him that I will place a complaint, he abused the Bangalore police and told me to get lost and place how many ever complaints as I want.

I request you to kindly take this matter forward so that we can have a peaceful city free of polluted auto drivers.

I will be of any help you need.

      Please call me on [protected].

I even took the auto driver to a traffic policeman and he did nothing to help me.

Instead, he was laughing along with the auto driver which was very very disappointing!

This was near the Bellandur Junction on 8th Dec (Monday, 2008) around 5.30 pm.

I am very disappointed and hope to hear you take some step.

      Thanks in advance.

      Sincerely,

      deep

      CITIZEN OF INDIA
Very surprise to see total eight traffic signals at Jogeshwari Link Road. It is causing unwanted traffic everyday especially in the morning & evening (pick time) which is resulting into loss of enough fuel as well important & precious time of all people who travels through that route.
Out of all eight signals few signals is placed at less then 30 seconds distance.
Is it really required ? or it is political issue or ? it is arranged by Arey Road authorities to Jamm the Link road & earn enough money thru Arey Road ?

Kindly take necessary action on this else we may have to being this under media & higher authorities.

      Hoping for the best.

They have putup a new signal in KR road,Bangalore. This is covered by the tree branches. The signal is visible only when you are very close to pole. only thing you can see from far is a green light where you need to decide to stop or move. When I took a right turn because the lights were green because of poor visibiliity i saw 2 constables standing getting ready to fine. I pleaded not wrong due to very poor visibility of the traffic signal, but they insisted on paying fine. When I was sure not to pay, they charged me with Dangerously Driving.

This is not the first time I have experienced this. The traffic indicators are not visible properly to the drivers. The police is taking an deliberate advantage of this.

Just to prove my point, I have taken a short video of this traffic signal which shows the poor visibility of the traffic signal in KR Road,Bangalore.

        Police — harrassment

Recently I was on a trip to shillong with my Fiancee and while we were returning from shoping in guwahati a police constable (P.R Yadav) without proper dress stopped us in the road and starting asking about from where did we come from. I said from the shopping Mall that was just opposite to him, after that he asked that where are we going , I said paltan bazar. He started checking things around me. I did not mind but he started asking the same questions again and again. I showed him my Pan card and then he left us. I was taking an auto and the driver said that he does this for money and even harreses college going students whaich has made the students taking another route to college. This is pure insane.
Soon there will be a movement with people on road for the harassment of Bangalore traffic police. They are more fine collectors than traffic controllers. All they do just to collect fine mostly by hiding like T----s, argue with people and collect money like r---s. One person start hitting them and many others will follow soon. This is going to happen seeing the way, bangalore police behave.

I was sent a Jumping Signal Notice for a fine of Rs 100/-.

I wish to indicate that I have never gone to that area and the junction in question for which the Violation has been booked. I am not even aware of where the junction is located.

I do not know how the Notice can be generated in such a case.

I would like Electronic Media to highlight take up the case.

I would like CIVIL society to advise me on the steps to absolve me of this incorrect notice and stop the agony of honest tax paying and law abiding citizen of the country .

          I am reachable at [protected]@gmail.com

            Hi All,

The job of the traffic police is to ensure free traffic flow and handle accident related cases. These days they seem to be more interested in collecting money from public for violating traffic rules. Incidents such as not wearing helmets, jumping signals are considered to be more offensive than accidents!!. At some traffic junctions they take the shelter of trees, they themselves behave as thieves catching the innocent bike riders.
Government should take some action against those traffic inspectors who just stand beneath trees and make money.

At 11:45am I was on Bannerghatta Road (Adugodi) going towards Mico. I was overtaking slow moving traffic on my bike when a Bangalore Traffic police Inspector < Nanje Gowda - Inspector with 3 Stars > attached with the Adugodi police station who was walking on the center of the road just turned around and pulled out my key and keeps walking forward.

I push my bike follow him for a distance and then park on the other side.

When I approach him to get the key he just shouts saying I was blocking traffic and that I was overtaking. This was not possible as I was behind him close to the car I was overtaking at just 10kmph and vehicles were flowing from the opposite direction without any problem.

I argued with him for 20 mins and he refused to give the key and just kept directing traffic. He just kept arguing and told me to move aside, he even pushed me aside when I was trying to talk to him.

Calling the Bangalore City traffic control room and Police Commissioners office also did not help.

After 45 mins of waiting he calls me to write a challan for 200Rs

              1) Lane Discipline
              2) Blocking traffic

He just wanted to show that he has the power to remove the key of a vehicle and that he can get away with fining a citizen because I questioned him and because I called the control room. He also said "If you call the control room you think I will let you go"

This is a case of excessive force by police on citizens who have not broken the law.

              Not my Fault:
Overtaking on the right is not a crime.
Overtaking on a road with no Yellow line is not a crime.
Blocking traffic by merely overtaking on a bike is impossible.

              Excessive force:
Removing the key of a private vehicle is a crime
Pushing a citizen is a crime

Public getting fined to fuel their silly ego is evident from so many of the complaints I see online against the Bangalore City Traffic police.

Sir, On the Kundalhalli to Mahadevpura road there are two big company offices are situated on the small enter ans road to Lotus Krest and other various Residential colonies . However during all the working days ie Mon to Sat the entire small road is covered on both side by the vehicles of the visitors of these co.including heavy vehicles like Trucks. It is very difficult to pass through this road during 8Am to 8 Pm daily. Especially for the senior citizen and Ladies as the staff like Drivers/Security etc are always find standing on the small roadside hotels spoiling entire area polluting by the smoke of the cigarettes, Tobacco etc. It is humbly requested to remove the unauthorised parking from the area.

Bangalore Traffic Police are the worst force in the country. They never know to manage the traffic. They have learnt to talk silly and below belt language. In every intersection few Policemen stand with an ASI looking for easy prey. If the prey wears white skull cap without helmet or few persons are going on a two wheele they are let to go.. Our Bangalore Traffic police are silly in issuing challans. Traffic police need maturity, Hust because Govt. has given them blacberry and other gizmo's they should use all this harass motorists. On K.H.Double Road Langford intersection few cops are unnecessarily fining motorists for silly reaons.Let police keep a box for motorists to drop few rupees without heartburn as their fining is illegal and on trivial grounds.I have travelled world over and I have yet to come across sillt, highhanded and corrupt Bangalore Traffic Police.Every Traffic Police makes a minimum 80 K to 100 K per month besides salary by their extra Zeal

                Dear Sir,
With a very bad taste i have to inform that I went to Lal Bagh West Gate alongwith my wife on 14th February, 2010 and as per the direction of parking boy i parked my bike no KA 51 Q 8720 near the gate of Lalbagh at about 3.00 pm. When I was returning at exactly at 6.30 pm two cops were just waiting to catch the prey. It was so surprising and disgusting to see their mis behaviour. I was not able to fully understand their language therefore trying to convince them in English. They have charged Rs100/ for wrong parking despite no fault of mine. I had to pay as they were not giving back the Driving License that too without any receipt. They were holding some kind of receipt book. While argument was going on, they have threatened to take further action against me and noted down my bike no. I am also a Govt. of India employee and well aware about traffic ettiquetes.
Can some one help me. Can the concerned authority take some action against those irresponsible cops who were on duty on 14th Feb'10 at 6.30 pm. Instead of helping the public they were punishing for no fault.

                  Hi,

I am Nilay Srivastava working for a MNC in bangalore. Today morning 19/12/2009, I parked my vehcile opposite to sunday to monday near Forum in koromangala and went to the UCO bank whihc is next to the forum.
I was not knowing that it was the no parking zone where I parked my bike. When I returned back from the bank, my bike was not there and one person told me that Adugodi traffic police took my bike as it was parked at no parking zone.

I went to the adugodi police station where I found my bike but the sub-inspector in charge was not there so I waited for around an hour. Then he came asked him how much is the fine to release my bike, he told Rs 300. I gave him Rs 300 but when I saw the fine receipt it was mentioned that only Rs 100 as fine.

I asked him why are you taking Rs 200 extra when the fine is Rs 100 only, he bravely replied that it is for us and when I urged a bit he start speaking in kannad which I dont know. And then he replied that every gives this much if you want to make any complain go ahead.

I don't remember exact name of that sub inspector.

That's right these police persons are always the first to catch the undue advantages of others.
These goons have just started thinking that the person who is from outside karnataka is liable to pay for driving in karnataka. If you try to speak with them they will start in Kannada and say that you should learn kannada and then speak to them.

Really for one it is really nice for being an indian citizen who belongs to different state and contribute to these goon's pocket money. It is really a nice example of our great democracy and bureaucracy.
On 23rd May it was my sister's engagement, we were having a party home with close relatives and friends. We wound up the party by 10:30 pm. Around 11 pm two cops on cheeta came to our place and said we were not allowed to have a get together beyond 8 pm and not supposed to serve liqour to our guest, we told them to take walk and there is no such crappy rule. We asked them to go get the inspector who ever is incharge from the station. They said they have a complaint from neighbours that we were making noise, but all our neighbours were with us till that time. These cops wants us to settle the matter. So we told them to come inside our house...we took them inside and offered to give them some booze. These buggers gleefully agreed...my cousin went inside picked up a quarter bottle of full rum emptied half of it and walked straight into the loo. He filled it up with his pee and walked out and after a while we gave these buggers the bottle. We were so maha thrilled that we could make these buggers drink piss.
                  Hi,

I work at whitefield. I usually travel on whitefield road.On yesterday(29 April 10) I was travelling on way back to my home around 7.00pm.After i crossed the signal the signal light became red at Bhorukha signal. There were few Trafic cops. One of them stopped me & started asking 100rs telling that i broke the signal. I was pissed off as I didnt break the signal though this guy is asking money. When i said neither i broke the signal nor i dhave money. Then he said ' i dont want to see ur documents; Just give me 100rs else give me ur license & collect it at court' By listening that i was stunned thinking what rubbish this guy is talking.
I saw this guy many times taking money from others.(there will be usually 2-3 police standing after/before bhorukha signal). Same guy tried to stopped me few days back when i had all the docs he allowed me to move on.

Can any one please take care of this issue
                  Hi,

I have also faced the same experience. I had parked my vehicle in Koramangala, near Greenline travels. There were around 25-30 bikes parked that time. There was no sign of No Parking.

When I came back after 45 mins, my bike was not there. When I asked one shopkeeper, he told me that traffic police people took it to Madiwala police station. I went there and asked them to release the bike. He asked for Rs. 300/-. I gave him Rs. 300/- and got my bike back. When I saw the receipt I saw the fine as Rs. 100/- and Towing Charges as Rs. 100/- (Total Rs. 200/-).

I can't understand the motive of this corruption. Traffic police is looting the common man like anything still no action has been taken.
All states police are the same. No need to blame police of one particular state, because basically all Indians are selfish by birth. Corruption is only one of the aggregate of the selfishness. Further one of the gentlemen writes Bangalore police speak only in Kannada, whats wrong in that... If i go to delhi, buggers they only speak to us in Hindi knowingly people from south don't understand hindi or speak hindi. Hence not need to get in to blame games. every one house has rotten in there backyard

I want to lodge a compliant against the oversppeding offence charged against CRR : N/19/1398/3693.

I was told that I was riding my activa at a speed of 66 KMPH and was expected to ride at 45 KMPH!!!. There is no speed limit sign on the entire road and thousands of vehicles go beyond 80 KMPH on that road every day.

If you are genuinely concerned about public safety and rules then why can't you have a speed breaker in that place!!! The police inspector was not able to explain why he was charging a fine inspite of no speed limit board on that road!!! this is sheer harrasment and loot on public money.

Firstly, this is not a complaint, but clarification

Today my car was towed from a non parking slot from St John's Road. I just want to know what is the official payment I need to pay.

I travel from Yeshwantpur to Bangalore university everyday, Most of the vehicles travel at a speed of 60 kmph, but the police speed interceptor vehicle says the spped limit is 50kmph . How can a rider see the speed limit in each road with so much of pedestrians crossing the road and heavy traffic, Indian roads is full of humps and dumps with no rules for spead breaker sizes . This is a complete loot on Indian citizens, A traffic police earns a hefty sum of money then a innocent law abiding software engineer .

This is a complaint against Traffic sub inspector Mr. Thammanna T. Bajantri.

I am the strict follower of Traffic signal since last 3 years.
I was going home after some shopping from Kormangala area on bike with my pregnant wife.
I stay at HSR layout. I tried a new route from Kormangala to HSR layout via Sony world on inner ring road. I reached at Sony world signal. As I was going 1st time by that road I was not aware that there is no right from that signal. I also missed the No right indication board. I stopped at the signal for almost 5 minuets. When straight and left signal turned ON, I was waiting for left signal also to be turn ON.
Suddenly a car came from behind and took right. By seeing this I felt that there is some problem in right signal. I also then took right after that car passed.
Mr Thammanna with his Junior policemen was standing there and they stopped that car as well as me.

He asked me arrogantly to get down. I got down. I tried to explain politely what exactly happened. He was not at all in mood to hear that. He asked my Driving license and I given that. After seeing my Maharastra DL and knowing that I am from Maharastra, his talk became more arrogant. He passed the statement “Tum sale Maharastra wale zak marne aate ho”. After hearing this I shouted back on him without caring his post. By seeing this 1 Junior came and told me that he didnt mean that. he meant, Since your DL is from Maharastra and if we want to contact you then where we will contact.
Tum inspector se eise bat karta, he replied. Chalo fine bharo, Dangerous driving 300 Faulty number plate - 100, No insurance -300, Signal break 200. 1000 Rs fine bharo Nahi to Vehicle seize karo (ordered to Juniors). Tumhe Gadi pe baithke GAND CHALI karta hai.

Mind your toung, officer, I shouted back. You are not supposed to talk like this. She is my wife, she is pregnant. Let us go. After seeing my rage, junior came in between our fight and bargained with me at fine Rs 300.
Funny thing: I had only ony 260 Rs cash and some Sodexo coupens. I had to give 40 Rs sodexo on top of this.

I saw at my wife and my next day at office, i agreed on 300. But while giving i asked few question which are still unanswered.
                      1. What is the charge for breaking signal?
                      2. What is dangourous drive. Do you think, with pregnent wife and from 0 speed in 30 meter distance I will do dangerous driving.
                      3.What is GAND CHALI.
                      4. What is my fault if I am from Maharastra.
Sir, we dont need terrist from Pak since we already have people like this who are diving states.
Well I can not say whetehr officer was boosed but by his behavor and covering fire from Junior it looks like he was.

Request you to take strict action agaist him.

                      I need justice.

                      Regards,
                      Anand

                        Hi,
I am Alfred a Tech support engineer in a MNC.On Sunday morning ie 18/05/07, while returning from work after a stressful night in office on the way back home we had to pass through brigade road and go to frazer town in my companys cab, the road which we normally travel was totally blocked and we were asked to take a deviation towards East Parade Church and unfortunately even that road was blocked and we had to go to trinity church and take a left which leads to Ulsoor and the corps had blocked even that road and when we enquired about this to the corps and they were not giving any sorts of response and they were using abusive language and they were trying to scare people to move away without uttering a single word. The saddest scene happened there was a college girl literally begging the corps to let her go as she had to write her exams and they used the same kind of language to the girl as well(Rude enough). What are we suppose to do.I'm not posting any comments or personal feelings.I am writing this as a frustrated citizen and I dont know if this is going to be actioned or not but I think its my duty to do it.

                        Hi,
Myself Chinari Mardaraj Subudhi, basically from Orissa, as I am doing my job(software engineer) in Bangalore I am leaving in Bangalore for last 4 yrs. I have seen here traffic problem, and corrupted traffic police. And I think most of had faced lots of problem due to some traffic police. I had two times bad experience with Bangalore traffic police.
                        1. Once I was travelling from my office to home, there was random checking for bike users. and they asked me my driving license, emission test and insurance. And while communication with I tried to use Hindi, then English but they were forcing to me tell in kanada, where I couldn’t. I showed to them my all document and still they played with me to get some money. But they failed. Their argument is as I am staying here for last 4yrs, how come I didn’t learnt Kanada. In reply I told sir used to speak in office English and Hindi, also outside most of people in Bangalore knows Hindi and English, and this way I am serving here in Bangalore. For this incident I didn’t remember the exact date.
                        2. It was happened last Saturday- 10/10/2009, I was travlling from my office to my uncle’s house. In between BTM signal on traffic police caught bike users for riding bike on foot path, but actually one of them is only in main road. He was just in front of me. He told to trafiic police, but police man is not listening him. Then that guy told sir ask this person might be he seen whether I used the footpath or not. Then police man asked me and I clearly told sir, he didn’t used the foot path. And that time suddenly that police man took my bike key and told you come also. I told I am getting late please leave me. But the traffic police (Srinivas shetty) called me and asked can you prove it (he asked in again kanada).I told I don’t know kanada, then in reply he tried to speak in Hindi. I told I can’t prove it. But I know he was in right. After 20 mins argument he is telling me for misbehaving to police you have to pay for 500/-. Then
that time tried to reach commissioner of traffic police[protected], but no one picked-up the call as the time was 9.15pm. Then there one local civil guy helped, not to pay for misbehave.
Don’t know how we can handle with this type situation. Please help us.
                        Thanks for your understanding.

                        Regards

                        I strongly agree to this.
bangalores traffic police is so rude that wt to say..if they tow away bike then if we speak to d policemen in hindi or english then they will charge 300 to 500 rs. but if we speak to them in kannada then they will will return d bike either without taking money or by charging just 50 rupees...wt d bloody hell is that...who d [censored] gave them right to differentiate between south indians and north indains...do they think that bangalore is their dad's place...
Bangalore Traffic Police is the Worst and so arrogant. They are the role model for Indian Corruption. Every month starting and ending in all streets of Bangalore you can see them. For the sake for getting money, they are daily changing the two-way to one-way and viz. One of the fun with them is - they are standing somewhere behind the Tree or any place which we dont' know and suddenly appears in front o[censored]s. If they come to know we are in afraid, they will get us minimum 100 RS. We cannot debate them eventhough we have not done any mistakes. I have not seen anywhere like this. Traffic Police are Good in Kerala. Since all people are educated and unity, the arrogancy and rude of any Government Dictators will not work with Keralites. I recently affected by the Bangalore Traffic Police for Jumping the Signal. I have not done so. We cannot explain the fact and debate with them. God Almighty can only punish the People who is harrassing public with the help of power in hand especially the traffic police in Bangalore.
I want to address this to Commissioner, Traffic.

As just going through the complaint one major hiccup going thro' all message is bribe/corruption.
Instead of making too many rules, rules, rules sir why cant you guys create a awareness in the citizens mind.
May be its difficult during scratch by as the time passes everyone will get accustomed to it.

As i have seen most of the 2 wheeler owners wear helmet for the sake that they should not be caught by police antha, if you guys create a awareness all the citizen will mentally bind to the fact.

I dont know whether my writing over here is going to make any difference and i dont whether any body is going to read this...but its a shame that we boast that we are so developed and look at the bangalore traffice police ... they are corrupt they take the fine collected from people and put it into their pockets, do they feel that taking 100 rs is going to make them rich...they will be deep fried in hell whomsoever they are troubling and giving them fine they are not giving them thinking good...they are giving them with pain and misery..the most effected people are middle class people...this money they charge will not be fruitful for them and they will die in road accidents or due to cancer, misery for sure...because GOD is seeing it all...
i dont know were they come from they talk only dirty words if only i had a chance to hit them i would have really done that . i also like to share a incident with all o[censored] . a traffic police man from sadhashivanagar one Mr. krishnamurthy really torched us hit me and pushed me and caught my collars just because we asked him he is pulled our vehicle were ther is no parking board he started abusing us saying that we are talking rule and we have to pay him fine of Rs. 1500/- as punishment because we have spoke law to him. People here should be dare enough to speak to these they think only they can hit us we respect only for thier uniforms . in front o[censored]s i saw him taking bribe without writing the receipt he just collected cash. but we took the receipt and payed only Rs. 300

Bangalore Traffic Police — SMS alerts

                        Dear Sir / Madam,
I had requested my mobile number to be removed from mailing list of Bangalore traffic police sms alerts, by sending LEAVE BTP to 567678 several times.Inspite of this I continue to get sms alerts.kindly stop them.
                        Thanking you,
                        Dr.Arvind
People in Bangalore whether outsider or insider are so remorseful that they will hit the cops one day. But the worst fact is that they wont consider whether the person they are hitting is good / bad.

There are really good and helpful people in the department. But those who are bad in the department are causing real shame to Bangalore and this department. I believe Praveen will work with and educate his team to ensure basic civic decency and respect. Else I am sure that there will definitely be a big tragedy on its way.
I do feel the same. After sending so many SMS to stop messaging nothing works .To subscribe we can use the web page but un subscribe it is not possible.I am fed up this alerts

Servilence camera's are very big newsense. Since I am a responsible Citizen and Journalist (Repoter) of a Kannada daily. How can I ignore the traffice rules. Might be my vehicle wheel had been touched the Pedestrian cross, in the same time CC camera turned towards my side and it captured the image. Is it a great mistake? Now a day's it is very scarry to pass through circles, cross roads and junctions because of Cameras and the police men.
These police men must and should stand near circles or junctions or mainroads instead of hiding near the cross road or behind the trees or faraway from the circle. This is not fair and is this is the duty of them. If they are standing at the right place which is fixed for them, then no body would be voilet the rules.

I think this the kind of harassment to the public. first of all they to catch those who are creating non sense in public places like "smoking in public places, spitting on the roads, footpath encrochment, not wearing helmets, non sense horns and LED lights etc., " not like silly mistakes.
