Good day, I’m not sure who to address this complaint to, but am hoping it will get into the right hands! My son bought a BlackBerry 9360 Curve, from Game The Glen Branch in March 2013, which he paid a lot of money from all his savings from Birthdays and Christmas’s. A few months ago he started experiencing problems with the charging connector on the phone, we took it straight through to Vodacom in Alberton Voortrekker street, thinking that would be the same action you would have taken and all in order. We booked the phone in, whereby they contacted us to inform us that the problem was in fact the charging connector but that it wasn’t under guarantee to be repaired therefore we had to pay, we didn’t understand but gave them the go-ahead. We paid over R600.00 for the repairs, and collected the phone 8 days later, which we then received a 3 month warranty period from Vodacom on that part. Now a month and a half into that guarantee from Vodacom the phone is again giving the same problem & not charging. We sent it in again to Vodacom, whereby we were informed that the phone is now irreparable. We took it back in to Game @ The Glen and showed them proof of purchase (till slip), plus the reports from Vodacom whereby I was told that all they could do was also send it in to Vodacom. I asked what was the point as Vodacom had stated that it was irreparable couldn’t we just please get a new phone or the cash or even a voucher to the value of the phone . I was told No, there was nothing they could do. I sincerely don’t think this was done deliberately ie he didn’t force the phone charging connector into the charging clip. If so how does one prove that this was forced and not an act of ‘nature’? I believe this is a common problem with these phones have had heard other complaints and I think there was already a fault with the phone since date of purchase. I find this extremely unfair seeing that the phone is still under guarantee with Game which expires in March 2014 and Vodacom in the next month or two, how can you have the phone for a year, pay so much money and then nothing comes of it when you experience a defect, but is still under guarantee. Please could you issue him / my son with a replacement? Surely this issue can be resolved. Please give this request your utmost consideration and advise further action. Looking forward to your response!

    This is against the staff of Blackberry who organized an event in R City Mall, Ghatokpar Mumbai, India premises on May 4, 2014, I want to do a legal processing against them for Fraud, Cheating, Misbehavior and doing unfair practice. I was one of the winners of the Blackberry Z10 in the event conducted at R City on May 4. They were asking people to unlock the phone with picture password and whoever does that was about to win the new blackberry Z10. When I did that in a few seconds, they immediately told me that I need to play another round now... (which they never told until i unlocked the screen). The said that they will play the next round in 5 minutes and then kept me waiting for around 2 hours until the entire audience/public started to evacuate the event kiosk. At around 9:30pm when the kiosk was almost only left with the organizers and their staff, they asked me to a play a typing test on the back of the stage with no one watching except their staff. They told me that I would have to type a sentence given by their expert and I will get 30 seconds "using my phone". They told that their expert can type the same sentence faster by using blackberry. I raised a question at this - anyone why already knows the sentence can create shortcuts in his/her phone so obviously type faster, or may be the expert selected sentences made by words which the new blackberry suggests while you are trying to type. This is not a fair typing test. I asked that the sentence that I and their expert need to type should either come from someone in audiences or the sentences should be given to me and I should be given at least 5 minutes to prepare - as their expert would have tried the same sentence already many times. I asked them to play a fair game which they denied to. The expert then asked me how did I unlock the screen password in fist round and started asking me the unlock pin. I told no matter how I opened, the game was to unlock it, not to tell him the password. He said its not fair and they will not give the phone away to me. After this entire incident at around 9:30, their staff members started misbehaving, raising fingers and talking loudly to me and my wife who was there with a 4 month old kid. They misbehaved, cheated on us and told us that they will not give away the phone. I also asked them to call their seniors but they said that they themselves were seniors and they were not going to call anyone. I reported this to on call duty manager at the information desk and asked him for help by calling police for reporting their fraud and cheat. The on call Duty Manager also backed from calling police and said that its a matter between BBM staff and me and he should not be involved. I and Duty Manager requested the BBM staff to tell their name and provide their contact card to me - which they denied. With all this, it was clear that they did not had an intention to give away phone, they were just showing off to the public and cheating with me and other people. The way they misbehaved, cheated and played a foul game with me and my wife was inhuman and I will definitely report it to legal authorities for necessary action. Hence request you to please take necessary action against blackberry people

      my phone hasnt even completed two years and its already giving problems with touch. the touch screen stops working at its own will.. i have to restart the phone every time to restore the touch! and restarting the blackberry u know takes helluva time!! kindly resolve my problem else replace this touchless touch screen set! thanks.

        I have a blackberry 9320 which i purchased in 2013. Suddenly it stopped working and was unable to read the sim card. I went Pune customer service center and informed that it is showing two options:- 1. Sim card error 2. Unauthorised sim card First they advised me to change the sim card as they assumed that could be the problem. When i advised them that i have already done that;; they took my cell phone for service . After 2 weeks i collected the same and the problem was still there. This whole process happened 3 times in 3 consecutive months. My cell phone is still not repaired and its warranty is going to get lapsed in May 14. They are unable to rectify my problem and not changing the cell phone when its still in warranty period. And then they talk about customer service. Its sad they don't understand the problems of customers especially female business travellers. I strongly feel they are actually waiting for my warranty to get over. So that they can charge me for the same or shrug their shoulders off.
        100% agreed. There Blckberry customer service center people well known for harassing their customer by best possible way, even i am victim of this irresponsible attitude of blackberry centers some strong action need to take against them .

          I have Bold 4 ( 9900 ), from last 4 months mobile is in visit of service centre only, in last 4 months i have used only for maximum 15 days in total and that to be not in continuation, i dont know what type of services they are providing . Mobile was swapped once but same problem again and again i think black berry is giving rephabrished mobiles to the customers .

          heights of that no body in senior management is bother to that how much customer is harrased by the company

            i have deposit my blackberry handset 3 times in service center . but till now i could not get complete solution regarding my problem. every time i have facing same problem. so please do need ful. plese this time change my handset as per company policy because within 6 month i have submitted my phone 3 times in service center for same problem. but till now i have not get any solution Warm Regards, Manish Gupta [protected] er.[protected]@hotmail.com

            I am a blackberry customer last 5 years. I have purchased blackberry bold 9790 in Sept 2013 in Rs 23500/-. After purchasing of blackberry handset. I have facing some technical problems (like battery issue, Eco Problem, Network drop) .when i have submitted my handset in service centre in Oct 2013. Service centre executive says that" it will take 3 days. After 3 days when i got my mobile from service centre Eco Problem & Network drop problem remain same .when i go again service centre in Nov 2013 for same problem. Service centre executive says that "your handset will go Bangalore for high level repair and it will take 15 days. After 15 days when i got my handset from service centre. Again issues are same. But this time due to busy schedule i could not go again service centre that time. In March when i go again service centre again service centre executive says that "Again your handset gone to Bangalore for high level Repair and it will take 15 days.
            But this time it’s not tolerable. I am mentally disturbed.
            Please do needful.
            If you can help me please help me.
            I humble request to you Please help me in refund process my money from blackberry.

              customer name: arunmodel: blackberry z10 os: 10.2 sir iam having serious issues with this z10 phone. yesterday i charged my phone to 100% and used it for more than 8 hours without any problem, but when battery level reached 47% it said 'power of'' and got automatically shut down, i pressed the power button and there was no response at all, tried removing the battery and and again tried to on, it did not response. then i plugged into my charger and the phone switched on, when i saw the battery % it was 13. i don't know why this is happening. again i tried to drain my battery to zero. it showed zero but when i restarted it showed me 30%. iam really scared. i love this mobile and all its features, but this problem makes me worry a lot. i have attached a screenshot of battery stats here. u can see the graph rapidly decreasing from 47% to 9%. i seriously hope there is a solution for this problem. thanks in advance.

                hllo sir, i m deepanshu virmani n i m using blackberry9220 curve its creating some problem like dat power auto on/off & battery draining automatically.I had visited previos month regarding this issue again & before it many times to the particular issue they didn'tt put any efforts n they did befooled to me dat ur battery is damaged due water but nothing like dat. plzzzzzz solve this issue as soon as possible. my contact no. is [protected], [protected] n my email-id is virmani.[protected]@gmail.com

                  I was purchased mobile from anil telecom gandhidham (Kachchh) gujarat dated 28/01/2014.I am suffring by battry because battry is running only 6 hrs in a day so i was complain in anil telecom regulerly 10 days but no any action regarding this so please do needful & urgent basis & also anil telecom give poor service to all costomer. I have registerd complain in your authorised service center who is harsh enterprise also he has no any reply regarding this.

                  I was charged full battry in night & i see battry in morning 7:30 am battry has 40% down.
                  I am send photo of my mobile battry in morning position.

                    Dear Team I am a Blackberry user and having handset Bold 9790, the Handset was out of warranty and having some issue. the same was reported to your Nagpur Service Center and they confirmed me to pay Rs.8500/- INR and handset will go to Bangalore for repair. I paid the same immediately and enclosed the proof of the same. Sorry to say that i haven't received any respond from your office/service center nor reverting when it will get it cleared i had called 3 to 4 times but very poor respond. Request your early action on this . Regards Girish
