i gave my handset on 25 July for repair as the slider of my handset was not working properly and at times there was a problem of my voice could not be heard to the other person. after this i was told my handset will be ready after 2 weeks as u can see on the scanned slip i went on 4 Aug after this on 7Aug an i was told it will take 4 days. On 7th evening i received a mail from your side saying my handset is ready and i can collect i still went after 1 day for collection. and again the same story was given that i will get the replacement after 4 days. After my argument Mr.Himanshu checked the status for me on his computer from bangalore service center and my status said handset ready for delivery, after this he mailed them and the reply he showed me for my job sheet said waiting for swap.At the service center i was told they dont have my model for replacement model no. 9810 White , and they will get it 4 days and i cam come and check again.I got this in writing on my job sheet and the given date is now 16th Aug and still iam not sure i will get my handset.
iam unable to understand the poor services provided by the company. the customer care is not efficient enough to update their customers with correct information.

    I bought the New Torch 9810 on 21 June, 2012 and the battery back up was zero. I needed to charge it 4-5 times a day without even using it. On taking it to the service centre within a week, they replaced the battery and assured me that they would replace the handset within 2 days if it still didnt work. It didnt and I gave it back on 23 July, 2012. And now its been 18 days and I still havent got my BB back. The service centre has no clue when it will be returned and keep saying its with Blackberry guys and we are just a centre. They dont even know if it will be replaced or rectified or what state I will get it back, IF I get it back!!! BlackBerry YOUR SERVICES ARE HORRENDOUS!!

      Hello ,

      I am writing with great grief and am very disappointed with the services blackberry centers are providing

      I bought Blackberry 9650 in feb 2012 from a dealer in goa
      on 6th july 2012 my phone showed some code error and was restarting again and again. I went with my with my warranty card to the dealer he gave the address of BB center, there they did not accept my phone as it was a CDMA piece.i returned to the dealer again and he suggested me to send the piece to distributor, we had submitted the phone to Sameer sales (Distributor) on 12/07/2012 since then i have been repeatedly following with the team but have got no response at all. they said they have sent the phone to pune service centre and i tried to speak to pune centers manager but have received no help or response... these people are not answering any calla and I am thoroughly disappointed as they are not able to track my piece....

      if your forum can be of any help or take any with this regards plz contact me or provide me with some number of Manger whom I can raise this issue to...

        - Complaint

        im using a bold.
        I have sent my phone 2 times to blackberry shop for months of repair and many times for one day repairs. my warranty ends in a day. the phone switches off and on on its own atleast 1000 times a day. the customer care people suggested me to buy a battery. i bought it for 2500 rs and still no change. they take my phone for months and return with same issue. its is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous.
        i want a permanent solution to this and the company owes me a new handset. i am not crazy to visit their shops 365 days.the company is just fooling the customer and taking away the phone for months and doing nothing with it. and when i got my phone back , my memory card was also stolen. i gave in New delhi - Lajpat nagar blackberry shop. I also wrote again for media card which they never returned.


        the company head owes me an explanation to this. and you have to exchange my phone no matter what.! its there in the warranty for a day now. so i dont expect the reply in few days stating now its not in warranty anymore so we cant help you!


        Absolute unacceptable customer service. It should be called customer fooling.

        there has been no response. i have mailed complaint so many times.

              I have bought blackberry curve 9220 yesterday (18/6/12) from

              THE MOBILE STORE.
              DA 4/A, Main Vikas Marg (Opp. Nathu Sweets)
              Shakarpur, Delhi, 110092

              I found my phones charger was not working. Next day on 19/6/12 i visited the store and asked for new one. they referred me to BB service centre. BB service centre said, i will get my charger at the store where i bought my phone hand to hand as i have purchased it one day back.


              When i visited back the mobile store, they said we will get you the charger by evening, they told me, they will contact me. But till now no response.

              What is need of getting Blackberry then?? Please help me solve this problem.
              They cant change a simple charger, even i bought the phone a day back.

              Dear Sir / Mam,

              Regarding above complaint i would like to say that for now my issue has been resolved by THE MOBILE STORE mentioned above i.e they have provided me with a stand by charger on temporarily basis, until i get a new one. They have given surety that i will get my charger within 10days period. So considering there help and needful. i wound like to take my complaint back for now. i will wait for my new charger.

                I have a blackberry curve handset where the screen suddenly became completely white from the background. Nothing is readable in the phone screen now. The phone was never dropped or hit with any other object to cause such a damage. The blackberry service centres have refused to repair it and are asking for Rs6000 just for the screen. The Lakshminagar guy said he would take Rs 180 to just check the phone and then said the phone is dropped into water, screen has been broken and even battery is damaged (i guess he ran out of thoughts to add more faults in the phone).
                Blackberry customer care never picks up the phone and they dont have e mail id to address customers complaints.
                I guess the current crisis in the company is self driven.

                    Sir/Madam i am having blackberry torch 9810 i have just bought before a one nd half month ago i was facing a keypad problem touch screen issue nd a software issue i have gone to ur service centre which is in Nagpur shankar nagar they said 1st that this is a software it wil be get solved here only i have left the handset there after 2 hours i got ma handset back but than also i was facing the same problem then ur employ said that we have to send it to Banglore to solve ur issue and it will take 15 days so when i got my handset back after 15 days i was using it after 5 to 6 days i was facing the same problem nd now also i am facing the same problem.
                    1- Handset is getting automatically restarted.
                    2- Ringer problem when someone is calling ma handset doesn't vibrate and ring.
                    3- I can't hear the voice who calls me.
                    4- When i am calling someone ma handset automatically goes on speaker phone and doesn't go back to handset mode.
                    5- Main issue ma handset hangs a lottt.
                    So when i have gon to ur service centre of Nagpur they are saying that we have to again resend ur handset to Banglore.
                    Sir/Madam i have just bought it and i am facing so much issue wat's this..?
                    Plz tell me the solution.

                        I am a vodacom contract subscriber for about 20 years.
                        My contract was due for upgrade in October 2011 and I upgraded to the Blackberry Bold 9780. Upon any upgraded Vodacom indicate the phones you may upgrade to and which they endorse. After a couple of months I experienced problems with my phone and handed it in for repairs. I received the phone back only to find out that it was a refurbished phone. Upon enquiry I was informed that it is vodacom policy not to replace any faulty or unrepairable devices, but only to issue clients with a refurbished phone. I then requested that they return my original phone, only to be told that it was repaired and already been issued to someone else as a refurbished phone.

                        I then also experienced problems with the refurbished phone and again requested a replacement with a new phone. Once again I was told that I will have to be satisfied with a refurbished phone, again!
                        And now being without a phone that was part of the contract.
                        I then requested that my contract be cancelled, since I have not been issued with a new phone, in fact I have no device even the second refurbished phone is apparently unrepairable.

                        For the past months my life have been extremely disrupted and inconvenienced by these events:
                        My phone is an essential part to perform my work duties and must be in a good working order at all times. I also need to be able to receive emails on my phone at all times.
                        Some contacts and other information have been lost on my phone which have serious conse-quences.
                        I still need to pay a contract for a device I cannot use and do not have and service I cannot use or receive.
                        I have been to and from vodacom shops, phoning, emailing which is costly and also takes up valuable time, with no positive outcomes.
                        At this stage I am using my wives’ old blackberry curve which is very frustrating.

                        Apart from submitting numerous complaints in various ways to Vodacom I have also lodged a complaint with “Helo Peter” only to find many other complaints regarding the refurbished phones issue and utter appalling attitude and service from vodacom.

                        I have also made attempts to contact Blackberry, but it seems a mission impossible to find any contact details.

                        It is disgraceful that such a company keep on receiving contract payments from how many clients who not being able to use the services or have a proper device.
                        It is unacceptable that Vodacom regard themselves to big a company to comply with the provisions and stipulations with regard to defect products in terms of the new Consumer Protection Act …

                          i think this is very important to share.My blackberry curve suddenly showed a white screen.i gave it in the blackberry centre at sikanderpur,gurgaon.They told me that ill get the phone back within 7 working days.I got a call from them after 10 days saying that the phone has out of warranty physical damage that cannot be repaired and iw ould have to pay 80% of the phones price.anyway i decided not to getit repaired by paying so much.I was called to take my phone back after "2 WEEKS".i went to collect my phone and when i inserted the battery to switch it on,what i saw really hocked me..It had a broken display(very visile) and black patches on the screen ,which was not the condition i submitted it in.They kept teh phone for 2 weeks .broke the display or caused whatever damaged to make it look like an out of warranty damage..My job id is GUR/BB/12/01101.And i have also noticed that blackberry is doing this to a lot of people lately.I hope this doesnt go unnoticed.This is extremely pathetic on blackberry's part considering they are one of the leading and trustworthy companies in India and this is how they fool their customers.

                            My complaint is after having paid 27990/= the mobile just a year old has the steel coloured rim of track pad which has come off at the bottom and casing of the mobile ( just above menu symbol,green on switch,back switch and red colour stop switch) STRIP has lost colour and is now looks horrible.I now have to VERY SOFTLY move my finger on track pad if not even the skin over the pad comes off.THIS IS VERY POOR QUALITY OF A PRODUCT NOT EVEN LASTING A YEAR.

                              I had purchased a Blackberry 8520 handset on 20/01/2012 to do my business work through my cell.
                              From the past 15 days I am facing a problem with the phone...
                              The problem is that whenever a call is made or received...the sound from the earpiece starts cracking up...and I am unable to talk through this mobile...
                              I have gone to the service centers for 2-3 times for this matter...but those people are not understanding my problem only...
                              they say that i will have to drop the phone there which is impossible for me and that too for 20 working days.
                              that's ridiculous and PATHETIC!
                              i wasn't expecting such response from BB...more over they say that i wont b getting any stand bye phone...What is this????...other mobile companies like Samsung and Sony Ericsson provide with a stand bye piece...

                              I am fed up of this phone...i am attaching a snap of d foto...
                              hoping that my problem is resolved ASAP.

                                  I have bought Blackberry bold 9900 in Dec'2011. I paid Rs 31000/-. I think i have wasted my money. It has too many problems from day one and it has gone to service center twice for the same complaint. Following are the complaints.

                                  1. All audio goes off, you can't hear any voice during calls, and you can't even hear ring-tones, music etc. and once you restart the phone, all audio comes back, but this happens 3-4 times per day. Every time you restart it takes more than 25 minute to reboot. I believe this is not a standard feature of blackberry .
                                  2. It hangs a lot. ( It can't even complete single task properly , where as in TV commercial they show multitasking).
                                  3. Battery drains in less than 5 hours.
                                  4. once you run any app, it becomes over heated.
                                  5. Key pad metallic color has gone in 3 months time. Phone seems to be 3 yrs old.

                                  now from past 7 days it is with service center in Egmore, chennai. Every day i am calling them for status, they are telling its under process. Company has also not given any standby phone. Now i am using borrowed phone, but if you put more than Rs 30,000/- on phone. you expect it to work properly.

                                    This is w.r.t work order number HYD/BB/12/00239; i gave my blackberry on 12th April'12 for servicing as their was instant problem in display. I came across display problem on 11th April evening time, as I had long telephonic call about 3:30 min during this call i could see a small patch in display and this patch went on to become larger when i saw hand set after 3 hrs; this 3 hrs i kept hand set for charging.

                                    Due to this display problem i visited blackberry service center and gave them for servicing, and today(23rd April'12) i been to your office to recollect it and your people are saying "THAT is a DISPLAY PROBLEM AND WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING AND I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SAME".

                                    Its unfortunate that i have got a defective display piece and the problem occurred in Warranty period only now my question is WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR REPAIRING DEFECTIVE DISPLAY PIECE?.

                                    Furthermore, On Saturday on called up customer care at[protected] inquired about above mentioned work order number and they said me problem has been rectified and asked me to come and collect it on 23rd April'12. for the same when i went to service center they are telling me still my handset is in bangalore and will receive it by tomorrow 5 pm i.e 24th April'12 evening time. This is the situation then why did your customer care person not bothered to inform us, I have wasted my time as i been to your service center.

                                    This is totally unethical and unprofessional way to earn money and as well as servicing a client as well.

                                    Now please any one can help me to come out off this problem and i dont want to pay for the problem which is came from manufacturer.

                                      i would like to take legal action against BlackBerry as they've cheated a loyal customer. I bought BlackBerry 8520 on 06 may 2011. It's just been 4 months and the phone got problem about track ball not working,i had approached to the service center on 06 sep 2011 in dehradun,work order no DUN/BB/11/00317,after 7 days they said that water drops was there so it is beyond repairable,i was astonished even a drop of water hasn't gone in my phone.If there was water drops it's warranty period finishes i got serviced my nokia phones so many times if liquid damage is there only warranty lapes but they service the phone, so i was ready to pay but they said it's not repairable.I questioned about water drops but neither they satisfied me nor agreed to service that on payment,i came to bangalore and again approached to black berry service center and after seven days i got the same response,this was the second time i was harrsed by blackberry service center .Again when i went to service center in dehradun they said it is not repairable and you pay the amout of same handset blackberry 8520 and they will give me a new same handset and will keep the unrepairable one with themself, it was enough for me third time i was harrsed by blackberry service center,finally i went for local repair shop and within 7 days i got my track ball problem solved then I realises that if my phone warranty was over service center could have repaired it in very first time. I wasted so much money and harresed by black berry services.In that regard i want retribution money from balck berry.I hope this forum will help.Advice me to file a case.

                                        I have purchased Blackberry Curve 3G (9300) one year back, and it is not working properly. it track pad is not working properly. It is under warranty.

                                        I had given for service to your Faridabad Service Center at Sector-16, on dated 27.07.2013. Service center is not avail to repair its and return back with remarks (PCB find liquid damage near takes on key pad led not repairable under warranty.)

                                        When i have purchased the said cell phone the dealer not inform me regarding the specific components not under warranty. I had purchase one of the international branded company and spend hand some amount on your brand but i am sorry to say the product of your comp[any is not up to the marks

                                        Please look into the matter on priority basis is very hope you will do the need full in this regard Please note my family are using only your brand past one year.

                                            i bought this blackberry 9300 curve about 5 months back. It suddenly stopped functioning one day and was then sent to gurgaon service centre for repair. After keeping the the phone for over 15 days, they are saying that forget about replacement the phone cannot even be repaired. How is that possible? I dont believe that this big name like blackberry could harass its customers this bad.
                                            the phone was used very carefully, how can they possibly say that the phone cannot be repaired? Do they not know that the phone is under warranty?Stop fooling the customers around. else, i'll have no option other than moving to the consumer court.
                                            I need serious help. I feel crippled without my phone.

                                            I have given my Blackberry bold model 9700 PIN 22A7E00E bought only six months back as the phone suddenly stopped functioning while it was being used,the phone was given without even a scratch on it and has not had any physical abuse,now after amonth of being kept at the service centre I am told that the phone is at the Bangalore service centre and the internal display is cracked and I have to pay for it,the phone was used very carefully and there is noway any such thing could have happened because of my handling it.
                                            I request blackberry/Redington to stop harassing a geniune customer like me and do the needful at the earliest and inform me.

                                            I too have an exactly similar experience to share. I bought my blackberry bold 9780 some eight months back. The phone was working fine, and then suddenly it stopped working. It used to keep switching off. My phone was otherwise without a scratch or any physical defect. I gave the phone at the authorised service center, from where they sent it to the company. After keeping the phone for 20 days, they call me to inform that the LCD has cracked from inside, and I have to pay Rs 7000/- for the repair. I asked them to provide me the company's contact and email, but there has been no response.

                                            This is purely a case of mishandling during repair or transition.

                                            Blackberry is harassing loyal customers like us who have been using Blackberry handsets since years.

                                              I am using blackberry handset (Bold 9700) with service of Airtel. Blackberry protect is an official application of Blackberry, in that application we can save our handset contacts, messages etc. i have installed that application in my handset and take an backup. Then because of some reasons i did format my handset from Blackberry service center from Pune. and then formatting my handset i re-installed Blackberry Protect application in my handset and select the option for 'Restore From Backup', but i didn't get backup of i have taken before formatting my handset. and i asked customer care also but they are saying sometimes it backup data didn't save. Then could we know that backup data has saved or not. And now i have lost all my important contacts because of blackberry service
                                              Have you tried using BlackBerry Backup Extractor at blackberryconverter.com to search for locally created backups and to see if you have one and what can you recover from it? It should work for you. Good luck.

                                                  bought Black Berry 8520 dated 11/12/2011(3 months back ) and happened to move to mysore on official tour. My BB 8520 trackpad stopped working and had no other option than give it to authorised service centre(Mobile planet, Madappa complex, Kalidasa road, Mysore) dated 29 feb 2012. I was told that mobile would be sent to Bangalore(Even though I was in Authorised service center for Black berry in Mysore) for repair and will recieve in 5 days. now today is 8th of march 2012 and I have no signs of getting my mobile back . no clue what to do and where to lodge complaint. Was happy with my previous Mobile LG chocolate and maximum time taken for any complicated service was 48 hrs. I will never suggest any one to buy blackberry any more.

                                                    I purchased a Blackberry Bold 9900 in the month of Sep'11. i paid 32 thousand rupees for this phone.

                                                    The phone has the worst battery a smart phone can ever have. i am being forced to carry my charger with me as the battery drains out half way through the day.

                                                    In January, the phone crashed while i was using it. i had to get the phone formatted and OS reloaded.

                                                    then in Feb, the display wont work when i am on call. it will take atleast 5 mins for the display to come back once the call is done.

                                                    I submitted my phone at the service center in Abids (Sri Vinayaka). they sent the phone to Chennai for repair. The phone was returned to me after 8 days with an assurance that the issue wont occur again.

                                                    to my shock, the problem started again the 3rd day itself.

                                                    I took my phone to service center again. i requested the manager Mr Alok to get the handset replaced as it was giving me trouble. The manager informed me that he would try his best to get it replaced. They sent the phone to Chennai again. the phone returned from Chennai after 10 days.

                                                    When i enquired, then informed me that the handset was not replaced. it was just repaired.

                                                    I do not want to accept a device that doesnt work properly.

                                                    I have sent a mail to the AP area incharge of Redington to replace the handset. Waiting for a reply from him.

                                                    Extremely unhappy with the service so far and frustrated with the delay in resolution.
                                                    Blackberry is the most useless phone I ever bought Boldtorch 9900 I have never enjoyed the phone everyday crashing resetting problem I keep spending.

                                                      1st Feb - my phone went blank while talking
                                                      2nd feb - i gave it to the nearest service center 'Lovely enterprise - Jodhpur'
                                                      10th fb - i got a mail from the service center (thr msg in brief)- 'come and collect your phone,its out of warranty due to physical damage.' attached a pic of my phone with a crack on the screen.
                                                      i must tell you that there was no crack on the screen when i gave that to service guy which he also admitted. also he said that "i dnt have your phone, come and collect in 2-3 days"
                                                      10th feb - i talked to the owner of the center and he assured me that he is lookin into the matter. he then asked me to call 'Praveen sir' head of redington ltd...praveen sir told me about using phone properly and these things happen and company is not liable for damages. when i told him that the phone was fine before giving it to center he said "i dont know, its not my jurisdiction m not a technical guy"......service center owner said "i will call you in 2 days...we will look into this matter"

                                                      i mailed blackberry help..googled all mail ids of blackberry, mailed them...mailed service center regularly, they didn't replied even single time. i told them that i wil sue them and blackberry, they didn't replied my mail even then. i called and said that i am filing a law suit, they replied "do it". i then further called them 4-5 times. there was no proper reply. i said them to give me a standby phone for the duration my phone gets all right they said that we don't do that for cheap phones like curve and since your phone is out of warrenty we will not do that.
                                                      one thing i want to say is that the service center never replied my mails, they never did any call. on this matter they hav a laid back attitude. also the 'Praveen' parveen.[protected]@redington.co.in is not taking this matter seriously..
                                                      am very disappointed i think the reason may be that Blackberry curve 8520 is a low end model and m not getting heard as i am having a low end phone model.

                                                          I live in Mumbai. I've owned a blackberry curve for a little over a year now, and never really had any problems with the product. I championed it to my friends and acquaintances as an affordable high-end dependable device. Recently, my phone developed a software problem. A simple issue which could be easily set right with about 15-20 minutes of reprogramming.

                                                          I got hold of the redington service centre's office number through "just dial" and called to check if I could come in to get my phone repaired. There was just one number that they had and when I called, the phone rang repeatedly but no one answered. This was around 5-5.15 pm in the afternoon. I live in andheri and the centre is in Khar so I left for the service centre anyway.
                                                          I reached the service centre at 6 pm, and according to the security guard outside the centre shuts at 5.30. The office inside however was fully staffed still and there was still work in progress. I requested the guard to let me in as I did not know the timings prior to my visit, simply because I couldn't find out. Also I told him that I had tried calling them for the same reason but no one had answered the call. After virtually begging him to let me in, he relented.

                                                          At the reception, sat a lady. Her name as she told me, is Aarya. I asked her to help me out. When she told me that the time is beyond 5.30, I told her i live far away and just could not get anyone to answer the phone to help me with the timings. I tld her I'm busy with work and can't take time out often to come in and get my phone repaired.
                                                          She told me it was a 15 minute work, and that I would need my bill etc. to get it done for free. I told her to charge me as I didn't have a bill with me. Eventually after burying my pride, after almost begging her to help me out, she called out to one of the service engineers. In marathi, the man said to her "why are you getting me customers now" and she replied in colloquial marathi saying that I've been blabbering and irritating her. All this is happening right in front of me then. Then I lost my patience. I told her, I'm not deaf and there's basic human courtesy which has to be kept and respected. I took my phone and walked out.

                                                          Redington service centre in Khar is the only company service centre for BB to the best of my knowledge. Really, if there was any other centre i would go there without a second thought. It appears that Redington has a monopoly over servicing and their staff believe they can treat customers any which way they want as we have nowhere else to go.
                                                          This has been a very unpleasant experience for me and I will henceforth discourage anyone from buying blackberry phones solely because of how the staff at the service centre treat their customers- it just goes to show they don't care.

                                                          I still believe that the behaviour and attitude of the staff is not necessarily representative of the company's at all time. Thus I believe you will take some affirmative action on this matter and help me out.

                                                          I have not seen yet such poor, substandard and disappointing customer support, as I have experienced with Blacberry support in Mumbai. I had given by blackberry 8520 for repair at their redington khar station on 29th Aug. Till 15th Sep, I had no information from them regarding the status. The service station was not attending the phone calls and did not answered the emails also. When I went to collect the phone I was told that the phone is ready but since the systems are down they will not give it to me. The manager - Mangesh, without any shame refused all request for a manual deleivery. Finally when I called the regional manager - Randeep, i was promised for a home delievery on 17th Sep.
                                                          Today i have been calling them for my phone but every time got a new excuse and now they have stopped answerng the calls also. Mr Randeep is also not picking the calls now and this represents how poor ans substandard these guys can be.
                                                          It is disgusting and disappointing to be a blackberry customer

                                                            i bought a bb curve9300 on 29/9/11. 21 days back the tracker pad stopped functioning for the second time. gave the phone 21 days back to ganesh times ponda goathe place i bought it.
                                                            spoke 7 times to them and they politely told me they are yet to receive status of the same. this evening they put me on to a sales person of the distributor for goa (regal) named SRIRAM WHO IN THE LOCAL vernecular tried using strange tones and words and told me that as a policy 15 days are required to service and there is no need to get exicited about such things. is this how blackberry wants to treat it's customers?????is this how we are responded to when we have the patience to wait.my name is Sashi Prabhu and my cell no is [protected].can someone in black berry please help me out and put some sense into regal to appoint smart people to handle customers and at least be kind and concerned about their customers?
