Poor handset Quality
I am extremely frustrated with my blackberry pearl and everybody who I have asked for help with it!! The charging port has come loose and I am unable to charge the phone!! I sent it to be repaired with phones4u (where i took out the two year contract which i am only 8months into) and was told it would cost £47 to fix. I am not happy to pay this to have it fixed as I am 100% sure it is a fault with the phone as opposed to some damage that i have caused, my partner has the same phone with the same problem and I have many forums complaining about the same problem. Apparently blackberry doesn't cover this problem under its warrenty. I want this sorted as i have now been without the phone for over three weeks and still have to pay the bill at the end of the month.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

I have purchased one BlackBerry 9630 Mobile Phone online through India Times Advertisement vide Order No.[protected]/- in HDFC Credit Card 6 instalment scheme. The Mobile Phone was delivered during the month of April, 2011 vide Delivery Challan No. [protected]. The speaker of Mobile Phone is not working. I visited Redington BlackBerry Service Centre, MM Marg, Lucknow and requested the Incharge to repair the Speaker of my BlackBerry Mobile Phone. He refused to repair it and asked me to lodge the complaint online with BlackBerry. Please Register my Complaint and get repair of speaker of my BlackBerry 9630 Mobile Phone. Myself Surender Routela and i have bouht Blackberry Phone 6 months before but from last 3 or 4 months my handset is not working properly. Even i had given my handset to Blackberry's service centre 4 times to rectify the problem but the problem is still there and the peoples are denying to change my handset, even then it is in warranty period. please do consider on my request and take a necessary action on the same as soon as earliest.

i the undersigned had purchased blackberry pearl 8230 mobile phone from globe general agency , reliance web world express situated at shop no 1 shre wardhan complex besides raymonds retail shop wardha road nagpur 12 , on 7-7-2010 vide invoice no wwe mhi 10035 / 1398 . that after some months around seven months the phone automatically stopped working and was not getting booted , therefore i visited the globe general agency they directed me to visit service station . As i was to go to poona for some personal work the concerned service station incharge at nagpur asked me to show the handset to service station of poona as we will also do the same thing that the handset would be sent to poona for inspection , and if i personally take the hand set the repairing would be faster . In poona the service station incharge told me that the repairing of the hand set would cost me rs 10000/- though its in warranty period and payment should be made immediately as i was not carrying cash at that time the service station officer refused to take my hand set , after that i visited nagpur service station many times they also refused to take my hand set for repairs . It is surprising how i was asked to pay rs 10000/- though the set was in warranty period and moreover refused to take it for repairs and did not give the reason in writing when i asked for the same .
You are therefore requested to kindly look into the matter seriously and immediately and see that i get new hand set or direct the service station at nagpur to repair my hand set free of cost .

Blackberry Pearl — No handset in the box
I ordered the mobile through www.infibeam.com, who in turn processed my order through Gizmo E Bazaar Pvt Ltd. Once i received the order from the latter company, there was no handset in the Blackberry Box, needless to say the seal was broken. I need an action against the company as soon as possible. This is in reference to Blackberry handset model No 8520 curve purchased by me on 01 Aug 2010 from Jabalpur(Dharmendra Electronics, 12 corporation market, naudra bridge), Madhya Pradesh, India. Within one month and 15 days of its purchase the handset switched off and did not switch on again. The dealer from whom the handset was purchased has been citing delays from the company (Blackberry) for its repair. The handset was given on 17 Oct 2010 for repair and still no word from the company has been received. This is causing a host of inconvenience. . After spending Rs 13,500/= I have to wait at the mercy of the shopkeeper / the company for my handset. Several false assurances were given by the company representative at Jabalpur, Mr Tiwari (Mob No [protected]) that soon the handset would be received by us as it had got repaired at Indore Service Centre. However even after 15 days there is no word on the exact delivery date for the phone. Finally i contacted the Blackberry customer care who informed me that my phone was locked in on 1st Nov at their Indore Service Center (Case ID no BB0052531). After numerous false assurances and mental torture i request that stern action be taken against such defaulting firms.
Blackberry Phone — problem in handset
I had bought an airtel blackberry bold 3G9000 on 27/03/2010. I having some problem in my phone. But on 24/02/2011, I found my phone was automatically switched off. I try to opened, but it was vein. I have gone to Service Centre for this. But, they refuse to take a complaint and have no clue as to who would be the responsible person to reply. They refuse to accept my phone and tell me that they can't help me as my phone was already opened. I told them that because it is in Warranty period why should I, need go some where. They also say, it’s only the service centre people only. I request them to check my phone, but they doesn't listen me and just doing arguments. After an hr argument I haven’t got any satisfactory feedback. Then I called up on 100 Number. Police came and I tell them whole incident. As I am a businessmen and I have always need to touch with the people and with my mails. So, for my requirement I needed to purchase a new phone with the feature of mails accessing.I purchase a new blackberry Torch phone after this incident.
This is blackberry service? Where do the consumers go? what can they do? Airtel is cash rich on base of its customers- customers who can do nothing about their plight and there is no central body to take up their issues.
So the prompt reply was please take it to customer care. i was given address of Authorized Customer care centres in Delhi.

I Agree totally With you I too had Given My Handfree of Blackberry Bold from last one month but till now it has not been replaced after purchasing handset of rs 22000 we dont get sufficent services which blackberry is know for...
I had purchased Blackberry 9220 – ETA – 1742/2012/WRLO, IMEI – [protected]on 24th March 2013 from Alfa - Mumbai. In less than a month it started giving a problem, either party was unable to hear the voice on other end.
Upon complaining for the same i was told to go to service center. I visited a service center in prime mall - i was told that it has a hardware problem and it will go for repairing. Upon asking for replacement i was told that it was possible only if it was given within 15 days of purchase. My phone has actually started giving problem in less than 15 days but i thought may be it was signal problem . But later on i found that it started giving problem in each and every call and during the call also voice was lost. May be this guys has given only 15 days as they know that in a city like mumbai with lot of work pressure & tours it is not possible to visit service center within 15 days.
Also there is poor service from the service center. The hot line number is kept on hold for hours and hours & finally a customer gets tired and drop the idea of compalint. Even email complaints are also unanswered. There is no facility on company's website for the complaints.
We buy international products for their quality. But i really repent being blackberry customer. My earlier blackberry phone also last only for 2 years. One of my friends blackberry is also giving trackpad problem and is not solved even after paying Rs.1200+ in blackberry service center.
Its really sad to know that blackberry company is not giving quality products to Indian customers.
Now i have already spent on blackberry & It really pinches to me as my credit card payment bill was not produced and i had to send handset for repairing.
Is here any way where i can get may money back? Where we can complain for the same.

I had a BlackBerry Bold 5 9790 which was water damaged, i took it to the BlackBerry service center and gave it for repair. They asked me to collect the phone within 8-10 working days. I landed up waiting for a month and got a replacement of the phone by paying 6000 rs/- .today after a week i discovered that the camera is having a problem with it. the phone clicks the image and den reboots itself. today when i took it to service center, the person in-charge there asked me to keep the phone as he will send it to head office in Bangalore. he asked me to wait fr 8-10 working days. now god knows how much time they will take.?! I am really fed up with this brand, never will i go for blackberry in ma life and will also ask people not to buy it. we as the customers should take stern action against blackberry as the management thinks anything will work out in India.! :(
I had purchased a Blackberry mobile 9220 handset 5/6 months back with warranty period of 18 months. The same is not functioning and only blinking with red light. I lodged so many complaints but neither any reply has been received nor the handset is replaced / repaired. I have also not been informed the proper address from where it is to be replaced. The services centres contacted in Netaji Subhash Place and Janak Puri are demanding the amount for its repair though it is under warranty. Please look into and arrange to replace the same urgently.

I purchased a Blackberry handset 9700 in the month of November 2010 and had guarantee period of 1 year within 1 month of purchase i experienced a problem with the display of the handset. hence i submitted it to the blackberry dealer situated in Cunningham road Bangalore, they told me that if it was a hardware/software problem they would replace it, which they did not and just repaired the part. On this discussion i spoke to the store manager and demanded for a replacement. the reply from the other side stunned me, he was so harsh and rude and literally hung up on me while i was speaking. When I called him back i told him, i would be willing to take this matter to the consumer court as this is no way to deal with a customer, his reply again was shocking as he told me that "you can take this matter where ever you want but you will also have to pay for it'. I was really disappointed by this and have been making complaints, i even asked him for an higher authorities email id and he actually gave his own email id. i do not expect this from blackberry.

i have submitted may black berry model 8520 (my bbm no.22B1E57A) at Varad electronics on 24.09.2011 for repairing and also gave them my e-mail id and mobile no. but i have not recd any mail from them regarding the same and today after 10 days they told me my phone is return back without any reparing and also asking for Rs.200/- for service charges. My phone is under warranty till 27.10.2011. My work is suffer because of this so kindly look in to the matter

i got my mobile and it had been just a month it started giving me software problems, i went to service station and they updated the software, because of they doing this, all the default programs which bb gives were deleted, i asked them to replace my mobile, they said they wil send to banglore office and replace it in 6 days. 10th day i got a call saying your mobile is replaced(which according to them was a replaced piece, but i doubt it to b the same piece) because the replaced piece still had the same problems like my old piece...i again asked to replace it...now its been another 13 days n there is no reply from blackberry, nor they have given me any piece...i bought bb and i am without it since 23 days...
i want somebody from bb to reply me...i mailes the senior authorities also...but no body is replying...i mailed sanjay.[protected]@redington.co.in and [protected]@redington.co.in also, but they are least bothered to reply bak to customers....bloody chor. took the mobile and my money also...n no one to reply....

Blackberry Mobile — default piece
I have bought a new mobile online in bag it today.From the first day itself the speaker for the same is not functional and is useless now.Please let me know if any thing can be done sbout the same it is hardly 3 months old Dear Sir, As you have suggested i had surrender my mobile once again to M/s Dugar sales on dated04.01.2012 at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India wide ref no /BPASPGT001B00175 .pL kind to note that thirdtime i am sending back my mobile and also note that this mobile remaininoperative more than 60 days out of 150 days. As previously 30 days due tonon availability of battery and than more power consumptionthan warranted specified in your marketing brochure.Due to CDMA in builtsim card system i can not easily switch over to another mobile and my worksuffered a lot.Please note that still i had not received my new instrument and my service provider still not got from the co. You r requested toverify my emails and complaint so that u can evaluate my case properly. I am highly disappointed by the way in which Blackberry is managing this problem! Most individuals using the Blackberry service is quite dependant on it for their various business and communication needs. After experiencing this with them, I was very put off and disgusted. Now I understand why everyone resorts to the Apple iPhone. If Blackberry can’t put processes and procedures in place to prevent and fix problems like these...

Tampering with instrument while replacing outer cover of phone

I have approached blackberry service centre in karol bagh to get middle of outer body replaced.Though my phone was working properly but outer body which is of rubber got cracked so to avoid further damage Iopte for replacing this part.
For same I went to Blackberry service centre at Arya Samaj Road karol Bagh on 12 May 2011.
They change the outer portion and gave me service bill charging Rs.1200/ rupees ( copy attached for ref.).
But during call recieving i found there is humming voice and it could be clearly visible that some internal part has been tampered while changing the out body thus arising the proble.
For sometine I thought there may be network problem but after few more calls it was relevant that inner speaker or voice modular has been tampered.
When I approach back t centre the owner simply denied any such problem and more of it he was blaming on network but not ready to accept the real problem and proide service for same.
On my regular insistence he was not ready to resolve it and finally i approached you
Request to provide further course of action

I have purchased blackberry 9800 torch on[protected] and faced problem of charging on[protected] ,the problem is battery shows 100 % after a long use also and battery gets down automatically also not showing charge icon when battery goes discharge and when again I try to do charge it show % proper when I close charging in some times again it becomes 100% which doesnt aloow me foir charge .same issue has been reported to redington service center at Mahim mumbai on[protected]
When I met redington person Mr Prasad he had sent doa request to concern persons at canada which was rejected due to warranty bounce as far as the rules are concern it shouldn’t get exceed more than 30 days in may case it was 35th day for doa confirmation I was there for 3hrs finally told me to go will call, got an call saying doa has been rejected
Next visit I gave on[protected] my handset is taken for repair I would like to inform the provided handset was in very nice condition its having only charging problem while giving me an delivery make sure you are giving me my handset only if its an replacment
Then give me proper new handset why I m writing you is while solving this problem it shouldn’t affect my mobiles other functionality. and I want the handset in same condition as I have provided coz its not at all acceptable that for only 5 days you have rejected my doa and 30000 I have paid for the handset not paid for reparing in just 30 days then whts the use of giving 18 months warranty.

replacement of defect handset

I bought a Black berry Torch 9800 on march 31st 2011. there was some complaint with regard to the display lighting and i handed over the entire set and the kit to REDINGTON at Vazhuthakadu wherein they have issued me A DOA Certificate which is the autherised approval by RIM for replacement of new hand set for the defective one. I have been trying for the past 2 weeks on phone and visiting in person for my hand set and the respected Madam sitting at REDINGTON, Vazhuthakkadu had been trying to teach me VERY VERY POLIETLY Clause 2 in Page 2 of the DOA certificate. Thanks Madam till date I have not yet received my hand set.
And friends can any one guide me the way to complaint directly to RIM regarding the above issue please.

Blackberry — Replacement of defective handset
I have purchased a Black Berry 8520 ( IMEI no- [protected] ) on 25 may 2011 from Mobile Store Ahmedabad Gujrat (India). And after using couple of weeks i found it was hanging frequently, then i handed over to Black berry service centre & they've just updated the software, but the problem was remain same & the same thing is repeated four times & every time they just update the software & said your problem is resolved but my problem is remains same. So just in 2 months my phone is serviced four times. Now i am fad-up with the black berry services.So, i send them a request for replacement of handset but they didn't reply.

That aforesaid handset developed problems in audio. I was unable to hear
anything on the speakers.
I had given the same for repairing to one of Blackberry's authorized
service centers in Mumbai, India by the name of Neutron Technology.
The exact address of the service center is as follows:
Neutron Technology, Shop No: 104, First Floor,
Civic Center, Dastur Wadi,
Naigaon Cross Road, Dadar (E)
Mumbai - 400 014, India
I was told that my handset would be repaired within 8-10 days. Now it has
been almost 20 days and I have not received my hand set.
I have tried several times to contact the service center. They never
receive the phone calls. I even tried visiting there after office hours
just to find that the shop is closed by 6.00 pm!!
The phone numbers given in the work order receipt is also incorrect. I am
unable to understand the reason for selecting such an inefficient
organization for providing authorized service on behalf of Black Berry.
The worst part is that there is no link on Black Berry's website where one
can lodge a customer complaint. There is one link where feedback on the website can be sent. When I tried to send the feedback there, it bounced back!!

I have never seen just a unprofessional staff …and only one lady addressing all the clients
Very small room which couldn’t accommodate more than 10 people, no a/c in the centre..
Apart from this I had send a mail on '[protected]@redington.co.in' to block my blackberry Model No – 8520, IMEI No [protected], Pin – 22B-49F88 As on 28TH Nov 2010 but till today nobody has taken the courtesy to reply my mail. Blackberry — wrong numbers given on receipt
I had given my bb phone at khar on 23 rd and waas told to contact them and come to collect the phone. However the number given by them is wrong and the numbers registered with just dial as well,This is a total cheat.
How do i track the status of my phone nw.,I stay t powai and now i have to take a off and go all the way to khar to chk the status.,...this is pathetic service

The battery got damaged in only 7 months and when I visited the service centre at Kolkata (Redington Minto Park, Kolkata) on 5th December 2011 (at 11:00 am), the gate keeper was sitting on the chair of the engineer. He inspected my phone and gave me the mobile number of MR.DEV ([protected]) to buy the battery in cheaper price. There could be some other fault, may be the battery is still ok. The engineer didn't even bother to look at my phone. I have used Nokia/Samsung/SE/Motorola before; but trust me, they never treat their customers like this!
Presently the device is heating up so quickly and the battery standby is only 2 hours. Could you please suggest what should I do? This is my last BB for sure.

web services including BB messenger is not working

I am a customer from India. I am an Airtel customer. I can’t use BlackBerry messenger and other internet facilities last two days. I made complaint on phone twice to Airtel and they simply informing that they will rectify the problem. I think this is an irresponsible attitude as this problem is prolonging still from which I am suffering a lot. As I am an Advocate and a Recruiter in business field at the same time, I have so many duties to perform including file transfer especially using BB software. As I am BB customer please take appropriate action to re install my net connections as early as possible failing which will become unhealthy relationship. Kindly make it correct that the operators like Airtel is accurate in their duties or it will affect negatively to BB also.

Handset Problem

I am holding Blackberry 8900 since March 2010. I purchased the same on 23/3/2010 for Rs. 18510/-. In month of June, it got hanged and I got the new handset on 21/7/2010. Now, from last two months, I am facing the new problems as my phone gets disconnected during the call and if I redial the same number then it shows the status as call failed.
I approached the Redington India Limited, Okhla, Delhi and they don’t have the time to listen the customer grievances and their simple is just to leave the handset for almost 15-20 days for repair. Thereafter, I asked for the alternative set during the repair period and they simply refused for the same.
Now, I request you to get my handset replaced immediately otherwise I will be forced to take legal action against the company.

My daughter has been facing problems with the Blue tooth, frequent discharging, substandard finishing ( the button on the phone is coming out ), etc. We had complained soon after in Jan regarding these issue's, and were promised atleast 10 times that some one would pick up the phone for replacement / repair. Finally on 10-Feb I rung up the customerservice[protected] and spoke to one Mr Satya who is the supervisor, he assured me that he would have the phone picked up by Blue dart or Aramex couriers, latest by 14-Feb. I once more reminded them when I spoke to Nilesh , who told me that Mr Satya will call me by 4 pm. I am completely fedup of all of the staff. I am looking at taking them to court, as no action has yet been taken. It has been almost a month since when we are running pillar to post. This is not what the advertisment suggests , am ashamed of saying " we're the Blackberry boys ". Please help and advise as I am fed up of Research in Motion,

Myself, Jaydeep Mehta, residing in India. I have purchase Blackberry 9530 Storm from Yash Electronics, Jamnagar, Gujarat, India on 12/01/10, who claims to be the Authorized Dealer of Blackberry. There is a problem in handset Touch screen. At few locations it is not sensing. As the handset is under warranty, I had given it to Yash Electronics on 11/10/2010 for repairing purpose. I am Manager in Reliance Industries Ltd and am suffering immensely on account of not having a blackberry hand-set. The same has resulted in pecuniary losses apart from causing inconvenience. It is already two month but I had not received my hand-set and also the proprietor of M/s. Yash Electronic is not able to tell me when will I get back my hand-set?
Even my three friends had also purchased the same model hand-set after my recommendation. Is it the service you give to the customer? Even after two month I don't know when will I get my handset back? Request you to look into the matter before I go to the Consumer Court and ensure that bonafide consumers are not cheated by either Blackberry or their Authorized Dealers.

I am the owner of Blackberry 8900 defective handset. I bought this blackberry cell phone model no. 8900 on 16th April-2010. Right from the beginning, my experience with Blackberry has not been good. Right now my handset is covered under 12 months warranty and don't know what will happen once the warranty ends.
I bought Blackberry 8900 (IMEI no. 357239.03.406867.9) from Authorised dealer (Cariano Telecom) of Blackberry in Kamla Nagar, Delhi for Rs.18000/-
This is to inform you that my cell phone is below expectation in performance and ability.
The following are the problems which I am still facing.
1) The battery life is almost of a day
2) It repeatedly hangs up and has a problem while disconnecting the call
3) Most of the time, while making or receiving call, call goes silient – no voice from either side, hence another problem with the speaker or the

4) There are lot many patches coming on the screen in different colours. The most important problem.
Now, after visiting your repair centers and the authorised shop from where i bought this defective handset, what do you want me to do this time, go back again and tell them to rectify the problems !!!

I am a working person and my job involves lot of travelling to different countries and that's why I hardly get time to do some extra things besides the regular job………and I would like to mention that taking rounds of Blackberry service centers, asking them to look into the car problems is very unproductive and I don’t have time for this!!!
Please note all these problems started in the very first month of the purchase and still continues. This is a shocking fact.

Even I have a bitter experience after buying so called smart phone BB 8900. It started giving problem with in 7 months of buying.I think it has design problem of power requirement wrt battery provided.( definitely not matching). My trips to the service center at Bangalore( redington) was a futile effort.The estimate for repair is close to the cost of best model available in the market now. And no surity of quality even after that. Attitude at the customer care makes you feel that you did a mistake by buying Black Berry.

This is to lodge a complaint against the company Blackberry for giving me a faulty handset (twice) and causing me great inconvenience.
On 2nd October 2010, I bought a new handset - the 3g Blackberry Pearl 9100 for Rs. 20,569 from ‘The mobile store’ at Worli naka.
The registered office for the Worli branch is Essar House, 11, K.K. Marg,Mahalaxmi, Mumbai 400034.
There was an audio problem in the phone, which the company after much persuasion, agreed to replace and gave me a new handset on the 23rd of October 2010.
Now the new handset turned out faulty as well. This time, the outgoing suddenly stops and comes back on its own. It’s not an operator problem. I am able to make an outgoing from another phone with my sim card.
So, on the 9th Nov, I sent another email to the blackberry corporate communication and told them about the problem.
Since then they have been trying to resolve my problem on the phone and a customer care person from their team calls me everyday for details but no one is refunding my money.
I don’t want to go through trials everyday with regards to a phone as it’s a loss to my business, my time and energy and causes great inconvenience. This is purely taking the customer for a ride.
If they replace it for the third time also, there is no assurity that the handset replaced will work.
Hence, I would request for a refund of Rs.20,569 at the earliest so that am spared of mental harassment and I can buy a new phone for myself with that money.
Within 5 days if a phone is spoilt, why should a consumer take a repaired phone? It is within the warranty period and since they are unable to replace it with a handset that works, they must please refund my money.
I cannot leave my office and go every other day to the Khar office from parel !

Refusal of warranty Service by vodafone store

With due respect i want to draw your kind attention towards the matter that i Rajat Kapoor holding vodafone Blackberry storm 9500 handset with I.M.E.I No. [protected] purchased on 14/07/2010.my concern is, when i bought this handset from the retailer he advised me that handset warranty will be covered by the vodafone store.
Now from tha past 2 weeks i am facing following problems:-
1) Low Network coverage
2) Battery Backup
3) No Display
4) Handset hanging problem every now and then
5) Handset heatup while charging more than expected.
Having said that warranty will be covered by the vodefone store, i visited to the vodafone store branch in ghaziabad (Navyug Market ) they refused to repair my handset, stating that i bought this handset from the local retailer so that we will not cover the warranty you need to visit our other branch which is in Noida sec 18 oppoisite GIP Mall .When i visited there with the token No.84 they also refused to repair the handset stating the same reason (handset is not purchased from the vodafone store).
Then i called the blackberry toll free no[protected] i asked the same to them & they adviced that your handset should be repaired by the vodafone store as you have a vodafone logo on it.
Please suggest me what should i do as i have spent Rs. 18600 for this handset and within 1 months time i have faced loads of problem .

I bought a new Blackberry Curve 8250 on 23rd July and the moment it started working on Airtel network. It got hung and stopped working. I was without a phone until I bought another new GSM phone. I am extremely dissatisfied and have not been able to get throught their lousy customer service. Airtel Blackberry helpline has promised me a service replacement on Monday (Today) and no one has turned up till now (3:00pm).
Please let me know what can I do and If I should file a Legal Complaint for my refund.

I am having a BlackBerry 9000 mobile handset which has IMSI no. [protected] and its battery no is BAT[protected], made in Chaina. It has date of manufacture as 1st Feb 2009. The battery has since swollen and could cause an accident if attempted to charge. Thus it has become unusable. The quality of battery seems to very bad. I want that the company must replace the battery immediately without any cost to me. I shall return this unsuable battery for the company to analyse the cause of such poor quality and to take up with the manufacturer to improve the quality.

hi, i have bought a new blackberry curve 8520, with in the month the phone it is not working, the screen is showing blank. strange thing is that there is no service center in kolkta. i cant found any.i wish i did bought the nokia e73 insted of this phone,blackberry should spend more money in creating service centers for customers, not making expensive advertisement. my suggesion to everyone dont buy any blackberry phone at all.

Since I bought this set it had not been working properly even a day.I am a senior citizen. I have run several time to the shop from that it ws purchaged.Still the set is lying with your cervice station.An article manufactured from such an industry of internationa repute, it is a matter of ashame.
I think big name is only for show.

Keeps hanging/hourglass

I bought my Blackberry 8320 thru Ebay, the phone displays hourglass continously and does not allow to work. i bought my blackberry 9530 thru Ebay, in details it was mentioned that set can be used in any network but after purchasing the phone was unlock for gsm network only but it was locked with RIM in CDMA where as i want to use with tata network.
now the phone hanged every time, it is now useless for me, there is no any service center in ranchi and its surrrounding.

While buying a high end mobile handset, I had no second thoughts but just chose to buying Blackberry.
But now, I repent! I happen to be a sad owner of Blackberry Bold(9000) Mobile 221 IMEI# [protected] bought on[protected] paying Rs. 32,600/-.
The handset within 2 months of purchase got dead and was replaced by the Service Centre for the same model.

I am so surprised that this replaced handset again developed problems – The sound card and scroll joystick is not working!! That too within 5-6 months o[censored]se. I am living only with the vibrator mode as a mobile phone is indispensable for the kind of profession I am in..
Is this the quality Blackberry is famous for? I too hailing from a consumer durables profession, am sure in these times of cut throat competition, such a negligence and poor product quality is only harming the organization with bad word of mouth.. and so no further recommendations to family & friends.
Such high end handsets are purchased to ensure minimum botheration and value for money. If this is the so called Blackberry quality, I must mention this is high time we receive attention from the Blackberry authorities else we have to move to Consumer Forum !!
We hope someone from Blackberry is listening and we receive response within 7 days! Failing which, we shall be forced to move to other means to get a redressal, for my hard earned money spent.

first of all i want to thank blackberry company that give me this opportunity to complain and ask WHY?.
why blackberry company finishing of its products ( Bold 9700) in the time being is very bad that means that there is some faults in the product production as follows:
spaces between housing and the screen also between housing and keybad
ringing volume is very low
internal memory is not enough to sotre my data
material of the whole product isvey week & not good like before (poor quality)
volume of the speaker is very low
battary is very week
size of the phone become thin and small

I also received poor service from Blackberry. I have a charging issue and was told it would be replaced within 3-5 days so I called back for the tracking number and now told I want get my replacement because its not covered under the Warranty. I will never buy another one and will tell all about these phones and make sure my family and friends will not purchase one.
Well I am suffering with the same problem and can not take any action as blackberry has no office in India. They take advantage of slow legal system in India. I am struggling to get their address but dont find any where. I am from delhi, do you have any address

Unprofessional authorised service centre
Just a request to all the Blackberry owners in Pune.
Please under no circumstances visit Vcom Solutions based on Dhole Patil road Pune. The owner T Kamlesh believes in bringing his personal problems to work.
A totaly unprofessional attitude, and kicks his customers out of the store when you question him.
Such is his ignoranc that he does not know which side of the handset goes into a holster.
He believes the Indian customer is a fool and tried to sell the holster of another model to me. When I told him that the company does not advertise this he was adamanat and said I dont care, you take it or get out.
When I tried to reason with him Kamlesh said that he already had problems and asked me to get out again.
I fail to understand how a world class company like Blackberry can give a authorised service centre to someone so unprofessional, so adamant, so ignorant.

If your still facing the trouble with service 7 support, pls file the same with the pune consumer dispute redresal forum and tell the company that a consumer is more powerful than a company.
Blackberry will fall as micromaxx mobile is in the market. it has dual simcard facility and all the features and better than blackberry costing at Rs. 4, 000/- for a higher end fone while the latter's starting rates are Rs.14, 999/-.
my projection is that Blackberry will die in sales by the end of year 2011.

Uable to activate Blackberry Services
I have been using BlackBerry For a month now and recently (3 days back) my BlackberrySrvices wee deactivated. It is because the 299 plan i had registered for is over and needs reactivation.I tried to reactivate it by following the procedure given to me by 121. After sending the last message-i.e. PMP <8320> I get a reply from 121 saying this-
Sorry this service is only available on blackberry compatible handsets.
Please solve this problem As Soon as u can..I need the balckberry services!

Hi,I am hoping you can help me.I purchased a motorola defy mobile from,from the Plymouth store, in january this year.
On the 14/05/2011, I took the phone back to the store(the speaker on handset had a problem couldn't hear), so the sales per on checked it,and said he would sent it to the repair dept.take about 2weeks, but usually back within 10 days.no not the case, I'm still waiting,im the one who has chased the repair dept. Spoken to head office, contacted customer service.
Spoke to the repair dept.again week before last and now it s gone to motorola to high level service,im a little concerned to get this phone back a it has taken way to long.
I rang customer service yet again spoke to becky, she contacted the repair dept. And as it will be 28 days on june16 I should get a new phone.she is going to phone me on that morning to let me know what motorola is doing,so about 3/4 days after may get a new phone.my direct debit is still being taken out, i feel very disappointed and let down, as I don't feel I'm getting the help on this matter.l feel very anxious about receiving my phone back if they have repaired it,as if goes faulty again I'm back to going through all this again.I did say that I wanted to cancel my contract as I haven't got my phone, but they wouldn't let me do that, as they are trying to repair it. Hope you can help or advise.
