Bookleaf have a bad reputation. It took me ages to get the book published at which point I knew they were scamming people. I entered a contest and paid 1600 as the fee for it on Feb 9th with the promise of getting a book published. after completing the manuscript and finishing all the work from my side there has been no communication from the company. I have sent countless mails to them to only receive an automated response. the whole thing is a fraud, they take your money, take your manuscript (intellectual property) and cut contact with you.

They have taken 1500 rupees for a reading contest and haven't given any update regarding trophy or refund they promised. 1 and a half month has already passed. Please try compensating my money back atleast. I invested my time and money for their challenge.

I came across an insta post by bookleaf publication that was going to conduct 21 day poem challenge competition after which they were supposed to print the book with poems. They took 1500 rupees to register in it.

It's been one month since they aren't communicating or updating. It's an ethical fraud with a writer.

This company has a very active social media presence through which they lure potential customers on half promises and lies. They are a fraud publishing house and have developed a foolproof method to fleece money from aspiring writers.

They publish sub par quality books with defective pieces and refuse to offer me remuneration. They do not reply to emails but continue to sell my book off of amazon.

They have taken close to 9000rs from me on the promise of a bulk order of 70 copies which I have not received in over three months. They refuse to reply to my emails and continue to engage in terrible business practises.

I am seeking a full refund from them.

I did a challenge with bookleaf publishing in the month of May 2021. They took a lot of time to publish the book but eventually they did publish the book but the book description was just plainly just some rubbish as they didn't put in even the slightest effort to list the book right. They also promised that they will be sharing sales report and will be paying royalties, but there's no sign of that. I ordered 100 copies of my book and paid for it almost 1.5 months back but there has been no update regarding that too. Miss Aishwarya from their organisation was handling my part of communication and she has now stopped replying to the mails. I asked her multiple times to provide me someone's contact number as she takes too long to reply, but she never provided anything. I even raised a ticket on their website in a hope that someone will contact, as there's no contact detail mentioned on the website. I seriously don't know what is going to happen now.
