Hi,
I completed B.E in the year 2010, and I took educational loan in corporation bank. While it was announced in all media and newspapers as the interest on the educational loan is waived off, why are the banks still asking us to pay the interest?
Please give a response as which all banks are all eligible to deduct the interest and how should I proceed with the bank on this?

In 2001 had an educational loan from IOB to pursue my studies in overseas . My repayment started in 2004 in that year i had no employment and was struggling to meet my ends . During that time my dad took personal loan to pay off the loan as my dad was not working . one of your manager is dening the education loan stating various reasons as marks and lot of factors.
he states he would be giving loan to only those who secured 90% and above.
the rest of students either it would be denied or would given ony 50% or less than that.
a student who has made a complaint to his higher officials was denied in providing the loan.
