Issuance of superfast buss instead of swift buss
I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the bus service provided by KSRTC. On January 8, 2025, I boarded the bus from calicut to thiruvalla with a ticket for a Swift bus[protected]. However, to my surprise, the bus that arrived was a Superfast bus.
This change caused inconvenience and discomfort to me, as I had specifically chosen the Swift bus for its comfort and amenities. I request you to take necessary actions to ensure that passengers are provided with the services they have paid for.
I would appreciate a refund of the difference in fare and compensation for the inconvenience caused.

The bus not stopping on the bus stop
The KSRTC bus nedumagadu, kollangonam to east fort didn't stopped at the bust stop at Manjaadimoodu junction at 08:00AM. This happens almost everyday. There are students and employees who are waiting for the bus but never had to get on. Therefore we are reaching late at our destination

Complaint for not picking up the reserved passenger from the pickup point
This incident happened on 9th April 2023. On this day I booked a ticket in Adoor Depot RPK949 to travel from Ernakulam to Kunnamkulam. The pick-up time was 6:20 pm, but the bus did not arrive on time. I contacted the bus representative several times to know when the bus will arrive, and he said it would take time and he also cut the call before I could ask him further details. It's clearly said in the ticket to arrive at the pickup point before 15mins. I have been waiting for the bus for more than 1 hour and repeatedly contacted the representative too. But the bus came to the pickup point and did not pick up the passenger (myself) from there. The bus representative did not even try to reach me when they reached the pickup point. Then I called the representative, but he did not take the call. So, I asked the enquiry department about the bus, and they said it had departed. Because of this I had to take another bus to Thrissur from Ernakulam south KSRTC bus stand at 8:15pm and from Thrissur to Kunnamkulam. I was supposed to reach my destination (Kunnamkulam) at 9:20pm but I reached past 12 O'clock in the midnight. I kindly request you to take necessary action and compensate for the loss of time and money that I have faced as part of the failure as soon as possible.

I have booked a ticket from Muvattupuzha to Kottayam today and paid the amount using UPI payment option. Amount deducted and but ticket not confirmed. What do I need to refund the amount. E ticketing
Tried to book two seats after successful UPI payment (see attached mail). I did not receive a ticket confirmation.
I checked the portal and it is showing that the transaction has failed. But money was deducted from my account.

KSRTC Ticket is not booked but money is deducted from account
I tried booking ticket in ksrtc.in from kozhikode to ernakulam, i was taken through phonepe where 262 was deducted but seat is not booked. I did'nt receive an confirmation/failure message on booking but money was deducted. To check on this, i called the customer care, took the number from ksrtc portal. i was kept waiting for more than 15min in the call to be answered by any customer care executive but my call was not taken by anyone in customer care. i could not find any way to reach out to ksrtc to get my money refunded. I want my money refunded. OB reference number of failure booking is OB8022767

Rash driving by bus

Bus registration No KL -**A-951 (couldn't note the two digits marked as "**" was seen by me driving very rashly today (27 Apr 2022) in the early afternoon (between 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. approximately on the road between Ezhupunna and Alappuzha. The road is two-way with no divider in between and there was moderately heavy traffic on both sides. The driver was aggressively honking even when he could see that there was no space for other vehicles to give him a pass (unless the other vehicles pulled over to a complete halt on the side). He was seen by me overtaking cars and autorickshaws with a dangerously close distance between the bodies. A slight nudge from the bus could have sent a car out of control or autorickshaws toppling.
The bus was also overtaking forcing oncoming traffic to stop and endangering vehicles and human life. The driver seems to need some psychological treatment for road rage, monitoring for the use of aggression boosting drugs like cocaine etc.

Complaint against conductor
I had travelled eranakulam to kaloor by KSRTC -Idukki-Kattappana Super Fast bus on 13/02/2021 at 6:15 am .
The Conductor in this bus was behaving very brutally to all passengers. I am also a victim for this. I gave Rs. 200 for Rs. 21 ticket fare. I physically saw change in his bag, but he refused to give me the balance amount.
He dropped me and purposefully asked me to collect the change from shops.
I hear by request you to take necessary action against him for this kind of behavior with passengers.

I have booked a few tickets from Kerala KSRTC. Because of COVID-19 all the trips are got cancelled in April 2020. So I had to cancel my tickets manually. I got cancellation confirmation emails, In those emails, its mentioned refund will happen within 10 days. I had to cancel my tickets in April 2020.
I had sent multiple emails to KSRTC to different people. Especially I had sent around 7 email followup emails to [protected]@kerala.gov.in, [protected]@keralartc.org NOBODY RESPONDED BACK. Even I had contacted over phone customer care and WhatsApp. These guys not giving any answer. Now nothing happening for more than two months
For these three tickets, I have to get 7000+INR as refund Amount.
If required I will provide more details.

Sir, i travelled by ksrtc from palakkad to coimbatore on 14 march 2020 at about 1.10 pm bus no. Kl15 a221 rsa 761 plk. As i gave the conductor rs 500 for one ticket. He started argument that he doesn't have exact change. It's being a recurring problem to get exact change as people tend to take cash from atms and it provides no small denomination currencies. I request you to please provide pos machine with conductors so that there is no problem in future.

travelling discomfort
Happened to travel in the white airbus deluxe bus from alappuzha to kayamkulam bw 3.45 pm and 5 pm. The three seater row faced the sun and all the passengers were burning in it. The large sliding windows reflected in all the light. The same thing must have happened on its journey northwards too. No blinds or shutter. At this soaring high temperatures travelling will be hazardous. Sir, this kind of bus can even cause sunstrokes! Pls look into this matter urgently.

I had booked a window side seat (Seat no: 32), which was shown as per seat lay out on kerala rtc's portal. And once i get inisde the bus i was allotted a different seat, which is not acceptable. And the conductors reply to my concern was more pathetic. Hereby attaching the reservation details and the bus layout shown in the portal.

I, Indhu K S, working in kerala health service.I was waiting for bus to cherthala from KPCC junction Ernakulam on 25/11/2020.None of the buses stopped at the juncton in between 5.45 pm and 6.30 pm eventhoughthe seats were not fully occuppied.Three buses were passed during this time period and I was the only passenger to board from the junction.The buses are, cherthala.FP(no.can't notify), Alappuzha FP(KL 15A 601), KL15A 500.It will be very difficult for passengers like me to travel this much distance if the drivers behave like this I request KSRTC to take necessary action for this problem.

not giving stop during early morning

This is a complaint against guruvayoor super fast, which pass through pandalam, around 5'o clock. I was waiting at nss medical mission junction to board the bus to chengannur. Usually, they stop the bus during early morning hours. But he didn't. I called ksrtc pandalam depot and the person who answered the call informed that there will be a bus, just after the guruvayoor sp. But, later after 10-15 minutes i got a nilambur sp. I had to catch my train to bengaluru. I used to go in ernaklum inter city. But unfortunately, i missed my passenger train to ernakulam and there by intercity to bengaluru. And i had to spend my whole day, getting down at different stations and waiting unnecessarily for hours. This attitude of these drivers are really disgusting and this is the first time i am complaining against ksrtc. This won't be repeated again and i have seen a lot of good drivers too..!

This is not single incident. My family and friends who have booked ksrtc have faced similar issues. Who will pay for my time loss?

Today sep 22nd 2019 i was travelling from ramanattukara to kodakara in ksrtc bus no:551344 sfp. I asked ticket for kodakara but the conductor give me a ticket to angamali, its 14 km far from chalakudi, the ticket fare is too high so i started to enquire the high fare, at that time he was missbehaved and used bad words. It is very heartbroken to us that we are always preffering and considering ksrtc more than any other services, please take an action to study the problem and in order to take action against the accused conductor. The using ofpublic transport facilty is our rights according to the indian constitution and ip codes, im also attaching the ticket with this complaint.

(Kl 15 a 958 - rpk270) was to leave thrissur stand at 9.45 am today (31.07.2019). The bus driver and conductor get into the bus at 10.00 am. And then the conductor says there was a reservation and trying to call the person who has reserved. And only for a single seat (Seat no. 1). Is the conductor privy to details of person booking the ticket? Does this bus have a reservation? Or was he trying to get an acquaintance a seat. Even if there was a reservation and the passenger comes late does the bus wait for him? The bus was already late by 15 minutes.

The bus from east fort to malayinkeezhu is not arriving at right time and is not stopping at the bus stop. The people are boarding the bus in middle of the road and those people who are standing at the bus stop frequently misses the bus due to their negligence. Kindly do the needful immediately. It is very difficult for the normal passengers if the drivers do not stop the bus at the bus stop. We cannot run behind the bus. They should be informed about this. Try to understand the difficulties of the passengers. Public transportation is for the ease of people not for showing competition among drivers. An also sometimes all the buses in the same route comes simultaneously. Is this for the passenger's comfort???

rude behaviour of the bus conductor
I got into a cherthala super fast ksrtc from palarivattam pipeline, ernakulam district, on 24.06.2019 today. As it was very late i got into the sf bus even it was only a few km left to my home. The conductor initially gave me a broken 5 rs note which i rejected which made him furious for no reason. Then he delayed the balance for some more time to show his protest. That is not my complaint actually. Then when it was about to reach my stop i already stood up, the conductor also was in front of me talking to the driver. I was just behind the driver's seat. Even though i stood up and my stop passed by the conductor or the driver didn't stop the bus. Then when i walked he told teasing "oh what to do now" with a smile on his face clearly telling he did it on purpose. Time was 8.45pm then... I became anger but didn't make any issues considering the other passengers valuable time. They stopped the bus moving about 800m away from my bus stop. The driver was behaving rude to other passengers as well. I'm mentioning the bus numbers here kl15 a 1795. Please take action against him. Date is 24.06.2019, superfast to cherthala, time around 8.25 it reached palarivattam pipeline signal.

regarding refund not established even after a week

I'd Booked 5 tickets for KSRTC VOLVO (Garuda), 2 tickets for palakkad to trivandrum, 2 tickets for palakkad to kollam and 1 ticket for palakkad to alappuzha. ON JUNE 1 2019 AT 6.35 PM FROM PALAKKAD

I am very glad to hear that a new bus had came to our balal village kasargod kerala 671533. The bus arrives from thottilpalam 673513 kozhikode district and goes back to the same destination. The bus is not following the proper route while passing through balal it is indeed necessary that the bus should follow balal-rajapuram district major road but it is opting some shortcuts. Please ensure that this bus moves through right path and thus, helping the villagers of this rural area in order to get access to the urbane localities as well as the newly opened kannur international airport.
