According to the tracking information, the item was dispatched from DIMC New Delhi on 13/10/2025 and registered by the Kolkata Foreign LCAO on 15/10/2025. However, there has been no further movement or update for the past seven days.

I am from Aizawl, Mizoram. I had ordered items from Sweden on the 25th of June, 2020. While the package was shipped using DHL, in country it would be processed by India Post. On tracking the package (LY[protected]DE) using the tracking on India Post website, it said that the package had arrived in Delhi, DIMC on the 11th of July and dispatched the same day for Kolkata FCOA. There has been no update on the status since the 11th of July. I understand that owing to the lockdown rules, deliveries cannot be expedient. But there has been an easing of the rules now. While companies like Amazon, Myntra, etc. are already delivering all items to my location, I wonder if India Post will deliver my package soon.

My registered shipment rr[protected]bd was sent from bangladesh on 13th february and is to be delivered at an address in mumbai but it has been held in kolkata foreign lcao since 20th february 2020.

I have been trying to reach kolkata foreign post office through numbers given on india post website but no one picks up the phone!! Even the india post customer services phone number at mumbai is never attended to! They also give excuses that they can't reach kolkata post office!

I don't understand why is kolkata foreign lcao is not transferring the shipment to mumbai!! When will they understand the seriousness of transferring shipments on time?

Tracking information is stuck since 1month. Last update shows the parcel is at transist on 31.12.2019 and next office is kolkata sorting office.
Why there is so much delay and no update on the india post website?

This happens all the time like each and every time my shipment has entered their building this ### is bound to happen starting from 30th December 2019 and today it 7 no update whatsoever if I call the foreign customs or any other number given in the website of Kolkata customs no ### body picks up even within the working hours rather they disconnect my calls each and every time two of my shipments are stuck but to no prevail nothing has happened if this doesn't get cleared up soon I am gonna file an RTI or drag them to court that is it I am done it has reached beyond my patience level

My parcel has been stuck with kolkata foreign lcao with almost 10 days and their is no response on this. I mean if there is problem with documents or anything else i can provide them but if i will not know the issue how am i supposed to resolve it. My parcel is stuck with them for almost 10 days now i have tried to contact them on 5 different number i could find some say the telephone is dead some do not pick up what is this?? I have ordered a nano drone from aliexpress its weight is less then 250 grams i have also seeked permission from dgca i have proof of that too and now it is stuck in kolkata foreign lcao for absolutely no reason so i just want to request the kolkata foreign lcao to release my product as it is for my personal use and nothing much more also it cannot be flown above 50 metres of height and i also do not live near government facilities or agencies so from my side i dont see any problem

Please help in getting this product moved from kolkata foreign lcao office. It has been there since 02/12019. On contacting the post office support they have no clue, i was given this no [protected] to call and check on the status. The lady said it's some other department and hung up.

My parcel has been stuck in customs since 21st October 2019. It's been close to a month and no update yet on the movement of the item. Had expected a better service quality, this is a very bas experiience. The seller has also let go stating that this is a customs issue that they should resolve. This was supposed to be a gift. I have ordered an electronic gadget from aliexpress and its order no/tracking number is rb[protected]sg and when i track the order it say "held by customs" in kolkata foreign lcao office i tried calling but no response from them no one picks up the phone sent emails but no response i feel very harrassed what to do now they don't even tell that what the issue or matter is there any documents required i can provide them but how to reach them i do not understand.

Tracking app shows that consignment number rv[protected]cn of aliexpress arrived at kolkata on 9th november 2019, with a remak:-

"[protected]:19 india, kolkata foreign lcao, transfer from office of exchange (Inb)"

This is an android tv box for personal use and its cost is usd 18.99 approximately rs. 1321 already paid.

I want to know the details of this phrase

I gor no intimation or notification as to what do they want. It is just lying there. Also it is so difficult to get in touch with them. I live in delhi so i cannot even go there. I used ti purchase many items from different part of the world.in an emergency one of my article from china should be reached here quickly. Mostly i choose private firm for the delivery. They deliver the package in 15 days. I thought india postal will be faster than that i choosed india postal and paid 1500 extra for that. It been one month the item not delivered. There is no update on the status of the parcel. The parcel should not be taking this much time for dispatching. I have been running from pillar to post to get the right person to get this resolved and no official from post offices at my locality wants to help in this regard and this would be the last time i would be trusting indian postal service for any kind of courier.
Better to merge indian postal services with dhl or fedex for providing better services if they are not capable of doing their job.
