At Dahisar Toll plaza in mumbai, the toll collection agency has not installed a single automatic fasttag scanner. They are reading the fasttag manually using the handheld scanner, which takes more time, than cash payment. This defeats the main purpose of fasttag i.e. fast movement of vehicles.

I had been to mumbai on 17th jan 2020 and came back on 19th jan 2020 to pune. Both the time i have been asked to pay toll in cash on khalapur and talegaon toll plaza. Today, i got to know that i have been also charged for rs. 173 (Total rs. 346.00) from fast-tag account on both the days.

Attached are the photos of cash receipt as well as emails i have received for same.

I travelled on pune mumbai expressway on 1st january 2020 (Vehicle no. Mh 46 bk 8178). The toll plaza deducted rs. 173 each (Total rs. 346/-) at talegaon & khalapur. Attached herewith screenshot of messages received from hdfc fastag.

Request you to verify the details and refund the amount to my fasttag account.

I was traveling to mumbai from thane. The traffic was beyond yellow line at mulund toll naka. I had asked to toll collection person to go without payment of toll fees as per recent guideline. He told that the traffic is moving so you need to pay the toll fees. After argument he was not allowing to go without payment of toll fees. I had paid toll fees at 11:35:57 on 18th march 3017.
