As per passport status on line, We visited PRO on 14/12/2010 at Old Passport office WorliNaka Mumbai. They told that passport is ready, but report of SB-II CID is without sign and it is returned for sign on[protected]. From there, we went to SB-II CID Crowford market, but they told us that they have not received any report for sign. We tried so many times on 24931731, but no reply.

I am Srikanth Ravinutala; I am currently residing in Kurnool, Kurnool (D.T). I have applied for my passport on 8th Oct 2010 in Passport office Kurnool. Police verification is completed. But I am not capable to view any information in the Passport website. It constantly says, "File Reference number is either wrong or Information NOT available". I am trying to call the numbers given in the website, but nobody is picking up the call.I sent an email additionally to the given mail-id in the website even though no reply from them.Can you please look into this issue and reply me. How many time it will take for my police verification or issuing my passport. Is there any time frame for issuing of passport in general quota. When ever i check my status online. This is Sonal Chawla from DAMAN, i applied for Passport in March' 2009 to which i submitted all my documents along with the pp form into which it was clearly mentioned that my DOB is 03/09/1987.

After some 6 months when i came to know that dob is wrong again i sent the papers n documents but then too today i.e. 12/11/10 i got my passport with wrong DOB is i.e. 03/09/1978,

I want to ask that how can the Passport officials make such a huge mistake i'm complaining to you after a year cos i thought when i will get my passport i wll check the birthdate may be it would be right cos

when i checked on site long before i send the complaint to passport Chief Manager who addresses all the complaints but i didnt get any revert from him making passport was this much tough with all the documents in hand would be this much tough i never knew,Please adderss to my problem as i wasted my almost 2 yrs behind the Passport,

Subject: Bad Photograph on newly received re-issued Passport – Need a clear Photograph
Description:

However upon receipt, I found that the Photograph was very bad on the Passport. I have tried to call up Passport Office at the following numbers: [protected], [protected] and [protected]. These numbers are either always engaged or no-body bothers to pick them up.

After this, I visited the Regional Passport office Kormangala on 11/10/2010. However the officers at the enquiry mentioned that the photograph on my Passport was much better than those on the others that have been issued and they will not issue another Passport. When I asked I wanted to meet the RPO, they refused to let me meet.

Please let me know what I should do to get this corrected.

In the last of january 2010,my police varification gone to completed sucessfully,but till date, i dont received my passport.when i checked on website its showing -Birth certificate is required.while i allready submitted my matric marksheet attested copy.

Hi Dear sir i have applied for passport under tatkaal scheme and i have submitted three address proof of my current address but status is still showing Police Report has not been received. and i am trying the number of passport office tele enquirey or other numbers of office no one is picking the call what should i do.

My parents have applied for passport on 29 Jun '10. Police Verification was done in July'10. But still Passport Status shows : "Application is pending for want of Police Report. " Please register complaint in this regard and let me know if I should share the File Registration Number .

I applied for a new passport via Speed Post Passport Service, at Chanakyapuri, New Delhi on 21-Aug-2010.
I have two issues:
a. I am confused how to track whether passport office has started processing on my application. The tracking number format mentioned on the (computerized) receipt issued by the post-office is not as the passport office's website is expecting. Eg, the receipt mentions these numbers:
a. Receipt No.: this is the tracking number using which I can track the status at post office's website. It shows that the item is delivered.
b. File no.: 110W<8 digits>
c. Key no.: <10 digit number>
The passport website seems to accept a tracking number matching [b] above but it doesn't accept the above number as it is. I changed the above format as given below:
110W<6digits><2 digits> :: where last two digits are for last-two digits of the year of application.
If I use W<6digits> at passport's website, the site says the given number is either invalid or the information is not available. So I am unsure if my way of interpretation of tracking number is correct or not!

2. How much time does passport office take from the date the speedpost (carrying application form) is received and the status of the application is made available at their website for tracking. In my case, ~10 days have elapsed but there is no status information is available.

I am Anita Nandagopal with the file reference no. A000196 / 07, Date of Birth : 12/11/1985. I had applied for passport on 2-Jan-2007 as mentioned in the file reference no., while doing my engineering final year. But did not get any update on the same, so had gone to the passport office again and asked for the processing. I was then informed that it will be processed but the same thing happened again.
It has been 3 years since i am working with Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd. and
wanted the passport for future reference and is in the end of missing an onsite opportunity. Due to this I had followed up through mail after which had got a courier from the passport office saying 'File is closed', but without any intimation and even the DD(Demand draft) was not returned.
Please let me know what can be done for getting my passport with the same application form. Or should I be applying it again with all the procedure repeating and paying it once again.

hostel. Unfortunately at that time we were at home due to summer
vacation.

I have applied for passport on 09/06/2010.File Number: BN21B[protected]. On 19/06/2010 my passport form was send to Commissioner of Police Office Shivajinagar in Bangalore for police verification. and since then the form is lying there no action has been taken .

I stay in Kormangala 5th Block and contacted the local police station (Kormangala Police Station) to find out whether my form has reached but till 21/07/2010 my form has not reached for police verification. I am in dire need of passport or else i would loose my Job,since my company strictly follows its Business conduct Guidelines.

When i check passport office website it does not show any information.There is No Record available .I even went to passport office and met the supritendent(Enquiry).She just repeated this file Number and said until the file comes back from Commissioner office we cannot do anything .

I even went to commissioner of police office (Shivajinagar) but they did not listen to anything and said we just deal with Foreign official passport

Please help me out .I have no other place to go.I Really Really need the passport or else my Job is lost.

My name is Kapil Kumar Jain and I have applied for the renewal of the passport in dec 2009. However, my passport is still not renewed. My file number is Z012077. In the status it is mentioned that "Your name on application differs from documents/earlier passport furnished; pls. clarify and also furnish your name in full expanded form."
I have submitted the documents twice and it is also mentioned that "Please contact PRO/Superintendent on any working day except Wednesday between 10.00 a.m. and 12.30 p.m" .The enquiry was done on 14/05/2010 and the file number for that is 1893912.

I tried to contact the passport office in bhikaji cama place but they are not confirming anything.
I request you to look into the matter asap as I need the passport renewal on urgent basis as I have already postponed my plan earlier as well.

I hope that you will look on the matter and passport is renewed as soon as possible.

I have applied passport on 18 May 2008 (application no: LKO z180013/08, Candidate name: Sarvagya Jain) from Etawah (UP) and I have still not received it. After regular follow up with the passport office, during Feb this year (2010) I was told to submit an additional affidavit which I also submit on 24 Feb 2010.

I am regularly sending mails to them but Lucknow passport office has not responded even once. When escalated the matter to Delhi passport office they have asked me to go and meet the Passport officer at Lucknow. But since I don’t have name or contact no of the officer, I was not allowed to meet him.

My sincere request it to resolve it ASAP. It’s affecting my career as valid passport is one of the few basic requirements which every company asked for.

shows the massage that POLICE REPORT HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED. We don’t
know what is the cause for this holdup, despite the fact that Police
Enquiry & other correspondence related to this, completed about 5-6
months before & also physical appearance of my mother & father in
front of Thana Incharge (Jiwajiganj Thana) is done. When we inquire in
Thana for this delay they said that they already sent all documents to
S.P.Office & suggest us to make inquire in S.P.Office & when we query
in S.P.Office regarding this then the clerk said that in 3-4 days
reports has been sent to Bhopal. But almost 4 months passed away,
total 8-9 months from the date of application & there were no end result.

Sir humanely seem in to the matter so as to my mother turn out to be
70 years old & father turn out to be 85 years old & their heartily
desire to go away pilgrim (Karbala & Najaf –IRAQ) for
Ziyarat.Therefore Please consider their Sentiments & sort-out
whichever troubles occur concerning their Passports.

I applied for Police Cleare Certificate (PCC) on 12/03/2010 in order for me to apply for dependent visa to South Africa to accompany my husband. My file reference number is 'M010872'. Even as of today I haven't received any feed back on the status, always on their status page it is showing 'Police report not received'. Please for God sake, look at this and help me out.

Dear Concerned personnel ,

Here I would like to inform you that many people having dificulties with PCC that they are not release to get an enquirey from the passport office .
Therefore many of them that they are loosing jobs and also losing huge money

I heard that some of them , that they are doing privitisation passport office so that they are not completing their daily task and keeping on hold and pending .

Especially when we take my case that they have lost my personal application form and informed that they want my application once again so I have submited once again after 12days .Now again it will take some more time.

on the othe hand my employer send me a job offer and he asking me several times to complete the process asap. but I have no choice more than consumer complaint.
However , I have a small family with out job it is very tough to maintain my monthly bills so klindly Please take necesary action on this type of issues.
see now I have all ready resigned from my existing job and I did not expect that it will take thismuch longer for the PCC.

My humble request is that Please clear this issue as soon as possible

Now i want a new passport under tatkal shceme, but in the process i came to know that only online applications is taking by the hyderabad passport office to issue passport under tatkal scheme. So i am trying to get time slab online from last 7 days, but till now i didnot get. whenever i tried, i will be told by the web site that there is no time slot available right now.

I request the concerned authorities to take action in this regard, and avoid people from getting into the nets of the agents who demand high (Around Rs.1500) for booking time slot.

hope the problem will be solved as soon as possible.

I (Aashu Singhal, S/O- Harimohan Singhal; Village & Post- Shahpur; Dist- Muzaffarnagar) am doing my own bussiness. I applied for a new passport in Muzaffarnagar Passport Office on 14th September 2009. My Passport file no. is GZB Z 406493(year 2009). When the verification came in my police station that time I submitted all necessary document but still online status showing that "Police Report is incomplete and the case is being examined". When i went to passport office,Ghaziabad on 24th dec,2009, they said that some clause has been left by police and the application form will be dispatched back to furnish the remaining requirements. but today it is 7th april,2010 and it is still showing the same status.i dont know what to do now as i need it as soon as possible but no hope. Please help me.

I applied my mother passport On dt:-25.11.09.We are residence in delhi but our home town is Zaheerbad.Unforunatelly my father died on 03.12.09, due to that fo while Police came for verification my mother is in Zaheerabad for my dad's last things and we receive a letter from passport that contact pro because during verification out of station.Due to that the reason we are shifted to zaheerbad my home town.But before shifting i went passport on 02.03.10 office and given letter of shifting so i can make my mother passport from hyderabad.They receive the letter and told me with one week you receive a letter form passport office in zaheerabad adderess and take the letter contact in hyderabad passport office.

But again we receive a letter from delhi passport office on delhi address that during the verification out of station.

So, i don't no what i have to do. Please help me on this matter and advise us
