Subject: amount deducted from bank but tickets could not be booked
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have booked 3 tickets for PVR Mahagun ,Vaishali, Ghaziabad on 11th October 2010.
Here are the reference details:
CCA[protected]Avenues India Ltd/Reference # [protected]/dated 11 Oct 2010.
I had booked the tickets through HDFC Net Banking gateway. An amount of Rs. 345/- was deducted from my bank. It was confirmed that the tickets were not booked and the amount would be refunded to my bank, even on 3rd day I don’t see any credit in my bank.
Can you please look to this and expedite the process for the refund of the said amount?

PVR Website detects extra tickets automatically
| Address: Bangalore, Karnataka |
Hi PVR has a very very poor website which give wrong result sometimes. I tried to book only two tickets, it took 520 rupees and also i selected only two seats, but your dirty site booked ticket for 10 tickets and took 2600 rupees. Don't even know how did it happen. The remaining 8 seats it detected automatically, it is really very very pathetic. Can you give me the solution for this what to do?.. Even i was trying to contact PVR customer care serviced number which has provided, no one is picking the call.

Non-refundable of money
| Address: South Delhi, Delhi |
I booked Saket PVR ticket on December 25, 2009 twice through my POS ATM (SBI Account No. [protected]) but failed to get tickets any time. However, on both the occasions the money Rs 590+ 590 was deducted from my account and even after the lapse of several months, the wrongly deducted money was not returned to my account so far. It is surprising that even after closure of 2009-10 balance sheets, all excess or wrongly money could not be pinpointed by the company, otherwise, the same would be returned to consumers soon after closure of account. It just shows that there are possibilities of a large scale bungling in PVR accounts and the company should pay the interests to the consumers for delay in returning money.

Non-receipt of vouchers, cheating at Candy Bar
I posted a complaint at PVR Case ID: CAS-25111-XQG8GG. Even though they promised me compensation by giving out vouchers. I never received them at my address. I had sent them an email with the complete address.
Now PVR claims that the issue is already resolved and they have closed the case as resolved.
No vouchers have been received and they have stopped responding to my emails.

Dear Mr. Agarwal,
In context to your mail below, we are trying to compensate only for the monetary loss suffered by you which was to the tune of Rs. 150/-. Over and above that, we have extended our courtesy by offering your 3 tickets, free of cost. We are not trying to compensate you for the time factor, as you are requesting. These are open tickets offered to you which you can utilise anytime that you wish to watch your next movie and would not have to take out time specially to avail this offer.
Please let us know so that we can do the needful to bring this matter to a close.

As per your email below, it is good to see that finally you are at least wanting to recognize the lapse in the conduct by PVR.
1. You are now ready to compensate 3 tickets for the show that I missed.
2. You are ready to compensate for the Rs. 150 item that I did not receive at the candy bar.
However, I still do not see how are you willing to compensate for the time, haressement and mental agony I went through with my family which also spoilt my entire day.
Please illustrate what you wish to do for that loss?
Thanks,
Akhilesh Agarwal
